Though thered be at least one set of tactics by now. :lame: Ill try and get the first battle up tonight if I can.
He doesnt look like he can wedge very well when inverted, so my tactics are as follows:
Get under him and flip him, then just leave him inverted and go to work with the flywheel/pushing him around. See what I can do with him from there.
Should I make it that far, I believe Ill be seeing Alex in the heat final.
Dammit...Internet Explorer sucks. I had most of the fight written and Explorer gets an error and decides to close on me.
Thankfully I have just enough wits to recollect my thoughts, otherwise Id be spamming swear words and the forum which would result in me being banned pretty quick.
Im going to type these fights in Word first, then copy them to the FRA Forum window now. Ive done this before but I thought it was more convenient to write the fights in these boxes. Guess not now. :lame:

ACTIVATE!
IDSFA out at Cacodemon almost before the activate, quite eager to finish him off early but Cacodemon is no sloucher either! Alexs bot heads in IDSFAs direction and both bastians meet with a CLANG in the center of the arena! Neither seems able to get underneath the other and so IDSFA reverses to try again. Cacodemon is a bit too eager and hurries into IDSFAs wedge again, and again they are forced into a stalemate! Suddenly IDSFA shows its power by slowly pushing the low wedge backwards, and Cacodemon spins away to try and attack IDSFAs skirts, and succeeds! IDSFA however rolls backwards and away before Cacodemon can fully drive his titanium wedge under and retaliates with a shove to Cacodemons own side. No luck, and Cacodemon takes a right turn, straight into IDSFAs other side but that defeats him, and now IDSFAs turning at Cacodemons wedge and again shoves him backwards, and right into the arena wall, holding him there. The Watcher rolls in and shunts the two causing Franks nippy wedge to release Cacodemon and now the demon comes back at IDSFA! IDSFA again comes forward, but Cacodemon makes a slight turn to the side, and again gets under the skirting! IDSFA tries to roll away again but it seems futile, and now Cacodemon is heading towards DBMs CPZ!
CRASH!!!
DBM rips into IDSFAs right side, severely scarring the 4mm titanium and sending IDSFA right into the arena side wall nearby! Tira races out of her CPZ but Cacodemon has blocked her route to the imperiled IDSFA. Thats not bloody nice of you, Cacodemon! Denying a house robot her fun? And what do you think Tira will do about this? :proud:
CRASH!
Tira smashes Cacodemons rear end and Cacodemon is flung away from the wall, yet no damage is evident, so Cacodemon is quite lucky! DBM has stopped spinning and is pushing IDSFA against the wall...he seems to be stuck to the wall as one of the hammers is wedged in between IDSFA and the wall...Tira shunts IDSFA further into DBM, and they are REALLY stuck now. Cacodemon isnt going to be left out of this and so tackles Tira while the spinning ring is immobile. Now, Alex, youre supposed to be killing your opponent, not the house robots, and theyre especially hard to kill - ah, thats better, IDSFA is now away from DBM, finally. Cacodemon...has wedged Tira against the wall...and is not moving! Perhaps he is taking a look up her skirt - oh I say, how naughty of you, Cacodemon! :proud: IDSFA and The Watcher both come at the same time, IDSFA getting at Cacodemons rear end and The Watcher slamming into the side. IDSFA is now underneath Cacodemon! Can he flip him over with Tira on top? If he does hell have an enormous advantage! Up goes the flipper - ohhhh...it just wasnt enough...Cacodemon is shunted away but Tira remains on top of the wedge! IDSFA attacks again to attack Cacodemon: again the flipper is under Cacodemon! This is majorly impressive stuff from IDSDA - AND HES OVER! Cacodemon has been flipped! And so has Tira! And here comes DBM, the hammers now working and spinning over towards IDSFA! Get out of there, Frank, while you still can! Cacodemon is now moving across the floor again and decided to tackle the pit release button! The pit descends as a result, and IDSFA is away from DBM and now after Cacodemon with a huge advantage! But hes not the only one! Tira will not allow Cacodemon to wedge underneath her and get away with it, and - OH! IDSFA slides into Tiras path! No big crash, as he headed into her spinning direction, and over she goes onto the wedge! Cacodemon stops and backs up, reverse-slamming IDSFA in the side but the skirt is there and it halts the charge from Alexs inverted wedge! BZZT! Oh, Cacodemon has been sent flying by the arena saws, and hes right side up again! Tira is flipped now by IDSFA, and DBM is coming at him again to avenge her - you cant have your cake and eat it too, boys! :proud: Apparently all order is gone, and IDSFA is after Cacodemon again, avoiding the hammers of DBM and smacks into Cacodemons front! Another stalemate, but its Cacodemon who pushes IDSFA backwards this time...RIGHT INTO DBMS HAMMERS!

OHHHH!!! The previously damaged side is bent and buckled further! ...and I think that IDSFAs drivetrain has been damaged by that blow!

The Watcher is coming over to count out IDSFA but far too late, and Cacodemon shunts IDSFA in the side again, but is still defeated by that skirt!

IDSFA cuts an arc across the arena, narrowly missing The Watcher, whos started to count him out!

Cacodemon slams into IDSFA once more at the rear and gets under, pushing him towards the arena wall and into it.

Tengu VII sent out Storm II after tying for first place in a judges decision with IDSFA.
Star 69 ripped apart Wedga Revo 2.0 and then went after Refbot, as a rather startled Cacodemon advanced with him.

Both machines are spinning, and Star 69 is on the move, crashing into Tengu already! Tengus blades are stopped but the blow from Star 69 does not do any damage whatsoever to the anti-spinning ring of Tengu, thats good control, but this DOES allow Star 69 to push Tengu around! Tengu cant move away and is now being shoved around, and right into an angle grinder! Ooh...the anti-spinning ring takes the hit harshly being held in place by Star 69, but Tengu seems to be okay. The Watcher comes in as Star 69 tries to hold onto Tengu for as long as it can, but the referee wont let Star 69 hold on for long! A crash is heard as The Watcher shunts Star 69 but Martyns spinner is holding onto Tengu and The Watcher starts to push Star 69 away, and Tengu is free now, and spinning at dangerous speeds! Star 69 is away from The Watcher, very nearly getting shoved into a CPZ! And now hes spinning up but Tengu is right at him immediately!
CRASH!!!
Both weapons meet, and its Star 69 who is the worse off here! One of the five points of the seemingly fading star is slashed brutally, and sent flying! Tengu has also been flung but at a lesser distance, and tips back onto her wheels, and is back and spinning up...greeted by a charge from Star 69, who has come back for more!

Again the two spinners are thrown, and Tengu taking the better of the collisions, and getting back up to speed with her blades. Star 69 doesnt seem to be TOO too damaged, only two of the points on the star have been gashed and hes again recovered from that blow, hurtling towards the whirling dervish that is Tengu and back at full speed!

What a mighty collision! Sparks fly, robots must have died, but they didnt! Star 69 is flung away but Tengu is only sent back a few inches! And Tengu is now spinning again and coming at a weakening Star 69 who is not spinning, another point on the star damaged!

Tengu smashes into Star 69s chassis, actually getting at the inner circle this time, and its been torn! Same armour as IDSFA in the previous fight and its been tattered already! Star 69 is against the wall now and Tengu slams into him without spinning up the blades, possibly having a closer look. Star 69s wheels are moving so thats all right, but not for long! Tengu releases Star 69 from the wall, and Star 69 turns, nicking the angle grinder on the way out, and spinning up again! Is it just me...or is Tengu spinning more slowly than usua - ah, mistake, mistake, the blades are at full speed. :proud: Star 69 is the one whos spinning slowly, though! The shell is rotating, but...not fast as it should be, and Tengu takes advantage!

Star 69 is again flung, straight across the arena, and collides with the arena wall, one of the previously damaged points now removed of its blades! Tengu is hardly harmed at all, really looking bloody brilliant this match! Can Star 69 recover from this brutal onslaught? Tengu comes in, tackling Star 69 and pushing it against the wall! Star 69 cant seem to push her back, is it having control problems? Tengu releases the fellow spinner, and Star 69 slowly gets off the wall, not spinning at all. This is bad news as Tengu is back up to full speed and crashing into Star 69 once more!
CRASH!!!
What a mighty hit! Star 69 is flung, almost along the wall, right into Taki-sans CPZ, armour miserable-looking! Taki lifts up Star 69 as Tengu again gets her bearings and her deadly spin-up back, and...and...FLIP! Star 69 is inverted. Of course that really doesnt matter, Star 69 can run both ways up...or does it? Star 69...is it immobilized? I think so! They are not moving! Tengu strolls in!

More armour removed! Star 69 is losing it all here, armour, weapons, drive, and hope of reaching the heat final! Tira is coming for you, Star 69! And Tengu gets the message and backs into the pit release button...yeah, yall know what that does now. :proud:

oh well. Cacodemon has basically been the underdog for this entire heat (seriously, out of all the competitors, I dont think anyone would have expected me to get to the finals XD)
Anway, this is going to be tough but I need to get his spinner stopped as quickly as possible. Since Tengu VII has some pretty small teeth, and I have an extremely low wedge, I can safely say that there most likely wont be any really big hits. As long as I keep my very front of the wedge facing him, he shouldnt be able to rip it off.
Anyway, I just need to get under him and slam him into walls. Each slam is a time that his spinner is slowed down and as such not able to do as much damage. I forget if theres a pit in this tournament :P but if there is then take him to it as quick as possible.
tl;dr just use my drive and low profile to try and get all over him. Never let him out of my sight and be aggressive as all hell.
Actually, tengu has some pretty large teeth in the standard setup - 15cm, which means although I wont get any particularly awesome hits on the front I should get some decent ones and the sides should also be ripe for shredding. However, I already dicussed my full tactics with Kody so no point reeming them otu again.
heh, Im just going by what I remember in the picture where they seemed pretty small. Its not really a pivotal point of my plan, so yeah whatever.
The ones on the picture IIRC are the dual blades, which hes not using.

Dont forget that this is for a place in the Series Semi-Final, and Cacodemon has already smashed into Tengu, and sparks fly as Tengu is glanced away! Only a deflecting blow! OR IS IT?! Look at that, Cacodemon has sustained damage on the right side of the wedge, a great big tear! If that was a deflecting blow I would hate to see a huge CRASH...but Cacodemon seems to be mightier than that! Hes stopped the blades now and rammed Holts spinner, but unable to penetrate the skirting! Tengu therefore is shoved into the wall! WHAM! Cacodemon backs away from the shaken machine and rams Tengu again before she has a chance to spin up! Back into the wall for Tengu, and this is really surprising! Tengu cant get up to full spinning speed! Shes being harrassed every two seconds by that low wedge that is Cacodemon! Another slam! Tengu bounces off the angle grinder...and away. Ohhh...Holt is relieved, but MacWilliams isnt letting up in his attack anytime soon! Cacodemon tackles Tengu again before the blades spin up, but Tengu is able to get out of the way near the wall, and Cacodemon slams into it! Ooh, that had to hurt. And now Tengus spinning up her dangerous speed! Cacodemon turns away from the wall hurtles headlong into the dervish!
CRASH!
That front wedge takes the full hit, but Tengu goes flying backwards, resting back on her wheels. Cacodemon is quite persistant, and rams Tengu again before the blades are back at full speed, but, also again, Tengu avoids the wall. WHAM! Cacodemon crunches sickeningly against it. Tengu has spun up now and has a go at the exposed rear!
CRASH!!!
Cacodemon is mashed against the wall, his rear torn to shreds! Tengu manages to remain steady but back prevent Cacodemon from backing into her and pushing her away. Tengu actually pushes back now, this is interesting. Cacodemon however is the pushier here, it seems, and Tengu is surely headed for the wall. WHAM. Tengu is pushed against it. Cacodemon turns to try and slide the wedge under but it fails to do so. Tengu pushes her way along Cacodemons side, and he keeps at it, and Tengu is again unable to get up to speed! Right into the pit release button they go, opening that pit! OH LORD, TENGU IS INCHES FROM THE PIT! CAN THEY GET HER DOWN?! ...no! Tengu reverses away towards the back of Cacodemon. And to top that all off, the blades are working again and back up to speed! Cacodemon turns around now and once more rams that irritable full-body spinner!
CRASH!
THE WEDGE IS OFF! Cacodemon is now completely seperated from the titanium wedge, which is now near the arena saws, and wide open for an attack! Cacodemon again rams Tengu but rather sluggishly now. Tengu has really sustained no damage at all during this contest and all the damage has been caused to Cacodemon, but still try and work their way back into the fight! Tengu again hits the wall! WHAM! Holt tries to get Tengu away and does so! Cacodemon turns and rams Tengu again but Tengu rolls away from the ram and spins the blades like she always does! Cacodemon, devoid of a front wedge, does the only thing he can do at this point: RAM!!!
CRASH!!!
Both robots knocked flying! Tengu crashes into the wall and lands...ON HER SIDE! Can Tengu right herself from this - yes, she can! The blades knock Tengu onto her back, and up pops the arm! Cacodemon however is in worse straits - the front armour is gone revealing the chassis, and there is definitely not as much strength left in the demon as before. Tengu is approaching fast, with her blades spun up, so Cacodemon heads on over to the pit, only to find Tengu has already caught up to him!

Tengu is again rammed before achieving desired speeds, and is pushed into Asterixs CPZ! The house robot smashes into Tengu and gets underneath the skirting! Oh...and yes, Tengu is flipped over again! Cacodemon shunts Tengu right into the corner! Tengus arm comes up but it cant use the srimech from that position! But the clock is ticking down...

Cacodemon gets out of the CPZ as Ancalagon makes his way over, and Tengu pops herself against the wall...and is righted!

Asterix rams Tengu and keeps it against the wall as Ancalagons jaw comes in for an attack, but Tengu escapes Asterixs shove and slides out of the CPZ!

Cacodemon comes forward again and misses Tengu, only to have the FBS shunt him in the rear...

Not a bad draw here! Sure thing, Ill team up with Martijn and try and beat that flipper into submission. As Steve mentioned, hopefully my sucking system will help against being flipped around at the same time.

Axeon (13) vs. Wedge Devolution vs. Axe to Fall
Axeon (13), entered by Andrew Jackson, undoubtedly has the axe effect, and more. :proud: Its Thz-style axe (with a sharpened point) can dent even hardox, and can keep itself on the floor using a vacuum system. Hardox and titanium/vanadium armour, LEM 4WD, and wedge with rear slope design make up the rest. It does have only 30 axe shots though.
C&BT1: Made Jim Struts break a leg (more like all of them :proud:), then surprisingly defeated Knightrous Wedge, only to fall to the 5th seed Aquarius in the Heat A Final.
Wedge Devolution is so popular youd think Steven McGregor would enjoy his bots attention. Well, he does. :proud: It also has LEM 4WD drive. However its shape is a low wedge with a sloped rear and Biohazard-style skirts. Its weapon is much different, being a full-pressure flipper that can comfortably toss a tonne, and its Bigger Brother-style spatula can help get under those annoying skirts. It can go at 16mph and its armour is 4mm hardox. However it has has ground clearance under the skirts, and like all CO2 flippers it will eventually run out of flips.
C&BT1: Flipped Leprosy Infection around and into the pit it went, then shockingly lost to 15th seed Terrorhurtz in a JD.
Axe to Fall is the other axebot in this fight. Martijn Benschop installed a nice 5kg double-sided axe in this baby, powered by 2 nitrogen bottles so it unleashes 2 tonnes of force every full-pressure blow. It is also LEM powered and can get up to 15mph, and its got 8mm titanium and 15mm polycarbonate, making it a tough nut of a bot, but it will eventually run out of axe power with all pneumatically-powered weapons.

Its officially a team-up as Axeon and Axe to Fall head right for Wedge Devo, but youll have to do better than that! Wedge Devo goes immediately for Axe to Fall, who brings down the axe! WHACK! The axe hits the flipper, but there is very little done, and Wedge Devos response is dangerous! The flipper slides underneath the front wedge and FLIP! Wedge Devo tosses with all his might, sending Axe to Fall flying through the air to come down on his back near the arena wall! Axeon rams Wedge Devos side but thanks to the skirting the ram barely changes Wedge Devos course and sends Axeon overtop of the skirt, and off as Wedge avoids him and goes after the self-righting Axe to Fall, immediately sliding underneath the 7mm ground clearance and FLIPPING!!! ITS OVER!!! AXE TO FALL IS OUT OF THE ARENA!!! What a quick fight! But wheres the cease?! Axeon collides with Wedge Devos rear and lets an axe blow fly! WHACK! The axe meets the upraised flipper and sends it back down with little damage caused, and Wedge Devo slowly pushes Axeon backwards. The house robots come out of the CPZs, but...

Hellbrand vs. Revenge of the Accountant vs. Scorpion Bite
Hellbrand, brought to you by Anthony Politzi, is an H-shaped bot with skirts everywhere except the front and back of the middle line to make room for the 360 axe which can double as a flipper thanks to a thin sideways axe blade on the top. It can go at 17mph thanks to some S28-400 Mags, has 10mm titanium armour, and its invertible, but it does have limited CO2 power.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Revenge of the Accountant is kickin it old school, meaning its David Sheppards fault. :proud: Its a boxy wedge shape with 2 Boschs powering the drive and a Biohazard-style lifting arm. It has 5mm carbon fibre over an aluminum ladder chassis, so that might withstand some good attacks but its pretty easy to get under, and it can definitely be overpowered.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Scorpion Bite, a T-shaped bot, has serious bite indeed. Alex MacWilliams returns to cause more damage using Scorpion Bites horizontal front spinning blade powered by a Magmotor, and it has 8mm titanium wedges/skirts surrounding the other areas. 5mm titanium however is its main armour, which can be damaged surely, and its drive is powered by 2 Dustin motors, so it can be outpushed.

Scorpion Bite is after the Accountant immediately, and so is Hellbrand. Accountant slams into Hellbrand and receives a faceful of hammer. BANG! The arm is slightly dented but otherwise fine, however its not a good idea to ram an opponent whos got a slightly better ground clearance than you, and even less good to ignore a spinning blade behind you!
CRASH!!!
Scorpion Bite tears into Accountants rear end, slashing open the 5mm titanium with brutal force, but unable to release the Accountant from Hellbrand! Hellbrand begins to push the helpless Accountant towards the pit release button...BANG. Right into it, opening the pit - WATCH OUT, SCORPION BITE! Alex almost drove into the pit, but swerves away towards the two other bots! Hellbrand has pretty much got the Accountant in his clutches and gives him another hammer blow. BANG! The arm is more dented. Scorpion Bite comes in with another hit!
CRASH!!!
This time Accountant does get seperated from Hellbrand, and also his rear panel! The whole rear panel of the Accountant is now completely ripped off and lying next to Hellbrand, who leaves it be and chases the Accountant down again. The Accountant is still moving, it seems, but very slowly, and Hellbrand shoves him into Exa-Gore-Ics CPZ! The 400kg house robot sinks its claws into the 5mm titanium sides and through the ladder chassis, oh its almost horrifying to watch...Scorpion Bite backs up into the spinner button and activates the spinner, for no reason. :proud: Hellbrand gets the idea and backs off as well, to let the house bots have fun as Whamlet hurries on over. Oh...Exa-Gore-Ics gonna take you to the arena saws...BZZT! Sparks. And again. BZZT! Sparks. Did I hear a tire being shredded?! OOOHHH!!! Look, strips of rubber are coming out from under the Accountant! How horrid! And Whamlet tackles the wedge from the side and down comes the twin axe! WHACK! The front armour is pierced and holed up! The Watcher comes in and actually uses the lifting arm this time, lifting Whamlet off his wheels - oh, youve been a bad boy, Whamlet, now off to your CPZ and no biscuits! :proud: Exa-Gore-Ic also gets the message and scats away, but possibly for no reason, for it looks like the attack has done the damage. The Accountant is pretty much immobilized now, and Hellbrand tackles him, and hes right near the drop zone! Nope, past the drop zone, and INTO THE PIT! BOOM!

Im going for a clamp and push tactic here. Titanium isnt much of a problem for the axe, but its pretty thick here. So, Ill try to fire the axe, get hold of Hellbrand and then use my superior pushing power to control it and feed it to the hazards, house robots and eventually the pit. If for some reason this fails, just give it a battering with the axe few times.

1) Scorpion Bite VS WEDGE DEVOLUTION
The key to victory here is my superior pushing power. Dodge the disc, scoop under the sides or rear and start shoving. Either dump it down the Pit or chuck it over the wall.
2) Axeon (13) VS Hellbrand
Ill pick the seed to outhammer the newcomer and eventually bash it to a standstill.
1) Scorpion Bite VS WEDGE DEVOLUTION
Keep my front facing him at all times. Keep smacking him with the spinner, and try to hit him on his sides.

Wedge Devolution immediately got under Axe to Fall and before the 13th seed could come to the rescue tossed Martijns axebot OOTA.
Scorpion Bite smashed Revenge of the Accountant to pieces, before Exa-Gore-Ic took Accountant to the saws, where his tire got shredded.

Wedge Devo blasts out of his spot, and meets Scorpion Bites rear wedge! WHAM! They meet, and are brought to a standstill, as neither can get under the other...or can they? Wedge Devo suddenly drives forward and slides under the rear wedge of Scorpion Bite! FLIP! Scorpion Bite flies through the air but thanks to the blade spinning is able to bring himself down right-side-up. Gyrometric forces are at work here, but Wedge Devo isnt going to let that stop him, and box rushes the spinner again. Scorpion Bite turns to have a go at the side, but Wedge is too quick. He gets to the front of Scorpion Bites right side and slides under it, heaving it into the air with another giant FLIP! Alexs bar spinner goes flying again but manages to stay upright. Wedge Devo chases him down again but is shocked to meet the spinner head-on!
CRASH!
Wedge Devo is sent spinning a little, the flipper not too badly shaken, but Scorpion Bite is also spun around and this gives Wedge a perfect opportunity to have another go at the rear end. Scorpion Bite also turns but this means Wedge Devo has a full blow on the not-spinning bar, and flies under it. Its going for the arena wall! FLIP! Over the fence goes Scorpion Bite, and out of the tournament!

Axeon (13) didnt have a chance to rescue Axe to Fall as Wedge Devolution got under it straight away and tossed it right over the fence.
Hellbrand advanced through after grasping onto Revenge of the Accountant, while Scorpion Bite took it to pieces.

Straight out is Axeon and slamming into Hellbrand immediately, again a stalemate. Both axes come into play simultaneously! WHACK! Axeons axe has made the most damage, actually, making a very small hole in the 1cm titanium. Hellbrands attack however hits the hardox and bounces off, foiled. Axeon grinds the gears and slowly begins to push the H-shaped bot back. Hellbrand tries to push Axeon back, but Axeon is too powerful. Another blow from both bots! WHACK! Axeon nails the exact same spot and the hole is carved wider and deeper! Hellbrand has now dented the hardox armour but now Axeon has him against the arena wall! WHACK! Axeon nails the armour near Hellbrands axe hinge, and another nice little hole is made! Hellbrands reaction is immediate: WHACK! A hit in a different place, right on the 6mm Ti/V top armour, and a nice-sized hole is made! This however raises Hellbrand off the ground and now Axeon gets under the H-bot and pins him with the axe shaft! Hellbrand strikes, but the 360 axe hits ground behind Axeon! Axeon now has Hellbrand almost completely on top of him, and takes him to Whamlets CPZ! Whamlet exerts his enthusiasm by a twin-axe blow to Hellbrands left side! WHACK!! A nice set of small holes have been made in the armour, and now Ancalagon leaves his CPZ to add to the chaos! But now the chaos is being caused by Axeon and Whamlet, and Axeon shoves Hellbrand further into Whamlets CPZ, actually shoving the house robot back! Whamlet responds to his by plowing into Hellbrand and using the flipper on the plow to push Hellbrand right overtop of Axeon...no wait! Axeons axe is still in the way! So instead of Hellbrand being flipped over Axeon, Axeon is shunted backwards a little and Hellbrand lands in front of him! Axeon takes the advantage in jaws...I mean an axe of steel. :proud: WHACK! Another hole in the 10mm titanium! That axe is quite powerful! Hellbrand can now use his axe...or can he? Its not doing much of anything, really, even moving! Ancalagon reaches the CPZ and his snout moves in, tackling Hellbrand against the wall. Whamlet and Axeon are just hammering on the titanium and its definitely not standing up to the heavy hail of blows now being given! Ancalagons jaw yawns open, and a spurt of flame bursts out, torching Hellbrand, who is in huge peril, but now The Watcher has had enough and moves in. Ancalagon and Whamlet retreat immediately and Hellbrand is able to move again! ...well, come on, Hellbrand, dont be shy. :proud: Err...I dont think hes able to move! Hellbrand appears to be immobilized! Axeon continues to hammer away at him! The Watcher pushes Hellbrand again, but nothing happens, and I really do believe that the Hellbrand has been branded dead here! Countout please!

Well, Axeon moves on the heat final but its not over yet, o ho ho ho! Now the house robots can REALLY have their fun! Ancalagon moves in again and slides easily under the side, clamps down and drags the broken H-bot away. Arena saws...BZZT! Nice sparks. Whamlet catches up to them and more WHACKing ensues! :proud: BZZT! More nice sparks! Axeon slams into the pit release button, hoping to stop the house robots from playing further, but noooooo. :proud: Ancalagon drags Hellbrand over to...the floor flipper. Ah...3...2...1...FLIP! Hellbrand goes sailing a little and lands upside-down. Axeon hurries over to shunt Hellbrand in the pit but Ancalagon is nearest and gets there first, clipping Hellbrand with his right side flywheel!
CRASH!
Hellbrand is vaulted into the air, coming back down right-side-up but it doesnt matter now, and right by the edge of the pit. Axeon spares him any further torture by ramming him right in.

Hellbrand is given a one-way ticket to hell!

I dont see why Keep my front facing him couldnt be carried out. Especially when the mistake happens at the very start of the match.
Maybe Alex, it turns out that Wedge was better controlled than Scorpion Bite, and was able to attack the rear of you BEFORE you could turn around and defend your self. Losing happens a lot.

Its Wedge Devo who gets off to the better start, heading right for Axeons upper right corner and slamming against it, only to find that the flipper, though getting under, is completely foiled by the suction system underneath! Axeon brings the axe down! WHACK! The flipper plate is dented badly! Wedge Devo backs off and tries a full-on assault this time. Axeon retracts the axe and brings it down again as Wedge Devo comes. WHACK! Wedge Devo smacks into Axeon, his right side taking the hit now, also dented! Wedge Devo pushes with all his might and very slowly pushes Axeon backwards. Axeon struggles to maintain its stance but it is slowly getting pushed backwards, so it decides to hail Wedge with axe blows! WHACK! Another dent in the flipper! WHACK! Nothing that time. Wedge Devo reaches the wall and shoves Axeon into it. Oof. The flipper slides under! FLIP! Axeon...is tossed into the wall and bounces right back at the open flipper of Wedge Devo! Wedge Devo cant close the flipper now, eyt its got Axeon right where he wants him! Axeon isnt hitting anything with the axe now, as he has been turned sideways, and Wedge backslams into the pit release button...FREEING AXEON! The axebot roars away happily, rejoicing in its freedom. Wedge Devo however is able to close the flipper again...yet it is not fully closed! Oh no! The flipper has been slightly bent, but enough to raise the plate a few centimetres and Im not sure if Wedge Devo will be able to exploit that same weakness again! Axeon wheels around to find Wedge Devo in his face! WHAM! The VFT6 champion crashes into the 13th seed but the flipper is no longer able to get under the ground clearance of Axeon, and instead slides up Axeons wedge! Axeon knows that it is now his battle to win, and not bothering to axe him starts to shove Wedge Devo backwards! He reaches the wall! WHAM! Wedge Devo is flung off the wall and bounces to Axeons side. He charges and smacks into it but is foiled again. Axeon turns and fires the axe. WHACK! I see some nice damage now, as a small gash is made in the beaten flipper! Wedge Devo rolls away as Axeon prepares another shove, and drives over the arena saws, which thankfully for him dont pop up. Axeon drives around the saws but Wedge Devo is already away and driving past the pit. Axeon wheels around to try and cut Wedge off but Steve backs up and without warning Axeon goes too far, and Wedge Devo almost fries his motors gunning towards Axeons side, and pushes him towards the pit!!! Axeon however backs away easily, now not impeded by the flipper, and Wedge Devo nearly puts himself in! Axeon charges at Wedge Devo yet again, and Wedge Devo spins and heads away to the middle of the arena again. Andy is getting rather tired of this sport, but continues to chase down Steves machine. Wedge Devo turns and again Axeon completely exposes his side! Wedge Devo hammers him AND GETS UNDER HIM!!! Axeon is rocked backward by the ram and tipped up a little, allowing that extra ground clearance for Wedge Devo to attack! And now hes again got Axeon right where he wants him! He pushes Axeon towards the wall again, but Axeons wheels remain on the ground and he tries to run away, successfully tilting Wedge Devos path to the wall right away. BZZT! Oh, Wedge Devo takes a hit from the arena saws, causing him to release Axeon! And Axeon is at Wedge Devos side now! He brings down the axe! WHACK! Another dent! However he is unable to get under Wedge Devos side skirts and Wedge Devo gets away. Axeon chases him towards an empty CPZ, and Wedge Devo turns too late. WHAM! Axeon slams against Wedge Devos right side skirt with brute force, but again unable to slide the wedge underneath. Wedge Devo tries to turn and gets at Axeons side, but Axeon shoves him into the CPZ and against the corner. Oof. Tira and Obelix immediately fly out of their CPZs in a hurry. Axeon flies fly an axe blow. WHACK! Another small gash, right where the last dent was! Tira reaches the CPZ first and hits Axeon across the side!

The 6mm Ti/V cowers under the mighty blow from Tiras blade, as a rip into the side shows. Wedge Devo is released from the wall, but the green and purple sparks have barely faded when Obelix shoots past Tira and hammers Wedge Devo in the front, causing Wedge to go flying Obelixs 80 slope and right onto his back! Axeon ignores Tira and tackles Wedge again, hammering the underside! WHACK! The underbelly is taking some dents now! Wedge Devo tries to self-right but the axe of Axeon gets in the way of that attempt! Obelix shoves Wedge Devo into Axeon and piles them both into the wall! Wedge Devo finds himself on top of Axeon and fires the flipper, not only pushing himself from Axeon but causing Wedge Devo to fly out of the CPZ and right back onto his...back! :proud: Axeon tackles Obelix back and shoves his way out of the CPZ as Wedge Devo fires the flipper, finally righting himself, but too late to avoid another slam from Axeon! The rear of Steves machine gets it this time as Axeon again throws an axe blow, not as pressuring as before. WHACK. The hardox withstands the blow this time.

Haha, you know what, I already have all six tactics in from before, but Im willing to wait and see if those people will change their strategies before I write the next battles. :proud:
Actually, I am going to change my tactics. Im going to use my Lifter set-up so I can actually attack other robots.
Paul, that doesnt even make any sense. It said that, at the beginning of the match, he comes out and meets my wedge. This means that I had my back facing to him (since the spinner is in the front), literally disregarding my tactics.
I dont doubt that at any other part of the match he would be able to get around that front, but here the initial confrontation is such a complete and total lack of understanding that it boggles the mind. The end result doesnt bother me, but this really doesnt make any sense.
Sometimes, what you wish for isnt carried out. Take this for example - you might get what you wish for Christmas (only 3 more days :mrgreen:) but you might get something else.
And by the way, people can either take what you say seriously or not. I.E, AJ says that (Im not going to become popular when I say this :uhoh:) his suction things on the base of Axeon prevent anything getting under or leap about like Terrorhurtz.
Actually, I had a look on the Terrorhurtz site and I found out that Axeons suckers arent going to stop it being flipped or pushed about, it just means it wont leap as easily.
By the way, AJ, its nothing against you, its just that somwtimes things have to be proven or disproven. :proud:
