Franks flipper may give him the edge, I think. I.D.S.F.A. to toss, slice and squash the Salamander.
2) KILLOTINE: EVO VS Storm 2
Hoo boy. Aim for the sides as per and try to jam the axehead in one of the wheel houses. If I get a bullseye, its straight to the Pit for you, mladdo!
At least my skirts and low GC should stop him pulling a Steel Avenger. :lame:

If hes easy to toss, then toss is what I shall do. Into the CPZs or over the wall, its all good. And the hardox flipper wedge should give me protection from that disc, so I dont have to be over-cautious in my approach.

My tactic is to keep my disc aimed at him at all times if possible so that he gets mulched if he tries to attack, and charge him when hes off his guard. Do as much damage as I can do without being suicidal. A tough fight but doable. He may be able to flip me, but Im pretty sure my damage potential is far higher.

IDSFA had an easy time with The Great Cornholio, and then tipped Asterix onto his side.
Salamander III destroyed the innards of Disc-O-Inferno, and to complete the dominance shoved him down the pit.
Roboteers, stand by...
Taki-san is back again, and joining the Rebellion 2 runner-up is Double Big Mac.

ACTIVATE!!
Its awn! And its already heating up as IDSFA has rammed Salamander head-on, preventing the disc from reaching its speed anmd dishing out its pain. FLIP! Salamander is inverted! But Salamander is slowly getting the disc up to speed. IDSFA dismisses this chance and gets under Salamander from the back, giving another toss! Alex slows down Salamanders blade, and it only lightly nicks the arena floor. But that sends Salamander back on top of ISDFAs wedge! FLIP! Salamander is shtowed disc-first against the arena wall. Hmm...I cant see an OOTA from that position. Eventually, The Watcher comes over, and shunts IDSFA in the side. Frank gives the thumbs-down and resignedly removes IDSFA from Salamanders backside. Salamander retreats and barely escapes a charge, running a wheel over ISDFAs entire ramp and missing the rear disc. IDSFA backs up, but Salamander again avoids an early ending and swivels around - to meet IDSFAs side!
CRASH!!!
Oh, what a devastating blow! IDSFA just got a huge gash ripped in his 4mm titanium, courtesy of the power of that hardox flywheel from Salamander, and was sent flying! Salamander knows now that the fight is his to win and closes in on his enemy. IDSFA is not quite done yet and scurries away, getting the flipper under the tire and flipping. Salamander is tossed a bit and lands with the disc pointing away. IDSFA moves in again and succeeds in his previous tactic of getting under the backside, but overlate; Salamander slides off the wedge and cuts away past the tip of the wedge. IDSFA follows, but Salamander spins and points the flywheel at him. IDSFA is more cautious, and doesnt want any more damage to be caused. Salamander senses weakness, and advances. IDSFA reverses in turn, but is too late to spin around and flee, and Salamanders disc hits the exposed side again!
CRASH!!!
And pieces of IDSFA are strewn all across the floor! Its almost disgusting, to quote Tim Green. And IDSFA has lost his left wheel drive, and is now moving around back and forth in an arc. Salamander smells the death scent of IDSFA and moves in for the kill.
CRASH!!!
Salamander buries the disc in, and WHOA! One of the rams that powers the lifter is ripped clean out, and is thrown out a little! IDSFA turns around, but the disc is also immobile! Salamander gives him another smash, and the flipper comes loose, dangling by a ram and one of the hinges! IDSFA tries desperately to get away, but its pretty useless if youve only got 2WD...on one side. :proud: Salamander delivers the eventual coup-de-grace, tearing through the electronics and mechanics inside. At that, IDSFA becomes imobilized. Without warning, or word from The Watcher, Taki screams out of her CPZ and collides with the wreck, scattering IDSFA pieces all across the floor! Salamander decides to back off, and thinks its better to leave the rest of this to the housies. DBM moves slowly over, and with a great slam of his hammers, he removes the pit release button from the wall...onto the pit, which descends. :angry: Stop destroying our arena! Jeez, even the house bots have turned on me...anyway, Taki carries the smoking heap to the pit, and dumps him in.

IDSFA is now IDSFC, which stands for Indefinitely Destroyed Smoking Farm Compost. :proud:

Storm II finally took out the might of Mega Masher 2 and threw him over the fence, adding another OOTA to his scoresheet.
Killotine: EVO won a ridiculously easy fight that couldve gone the other way had Acid Burn got up to speed in time.
Roboteers, stand by...
Its Asterix Heroicus and Exa-Gore-Ic: AI who represent the house bots this time around.

And both robots collide in the arena with a crash. Storm, being the lower, slides under Killotine and carries him to the wall! WHAM! Killotine bounces off the wall and behind Storm, who advances again. He again gets under Killotine, even with the rear skirt with his own and slams Killotine into the reverse wall! Killotine bounces on top of Storm, but burns the top of Storm with his tires, revving up and off of him and positioning for the sides. Storm instead goes and hits the pit release button. Killotine races by the opening pit and gets under the side skirts of Storm. Down comes the axe! AHH! No way! Storm is grapped! And right near the pit too...how sad. Well its too late for Storm as Killotine dumps him in and puts a very surprising and upsetting end to this quick match.

Salamanders slippery alright, but if I head for the back of Alexs bot and play the grapple game there, he cant attack and the wheels may even be lifted right off the ground. So, get under its rear, grapple and outpush to the Pit.

Killotine: EVO took out both of his opponents rather quickly and wants to join his brother Clawdius in the Series Finals.
Salamander III made short work of Disc-O-Inferno before shredding the crap out of IDSFA. Hes the only Holt bot left to attempt a jump at the Series Finals.

Killotine immediately heads for the pit release button, ramming it directly, and opens the pit, just to make sure that there is a hole to drag Salamander to. Salamander, however, does not intend on getting dragged anywhere, unless its to the Series Final, and smashes Killotines backside! Killotine spins a bit, and is now directly facing Salamander! Salamander is now in a state of whoa nelly! and backs away, but Killotine is too fast and slams against the motionless disc. Perhaps he was too fast, for he overshot his mark and landed himself beside Salamander, turning him! The latter reverses again and gets the disc up to speed! Killotine registers this with a dart to Salamanders side, but, just as swiftly, Salamander turns slightly, pointing the disc at the opposition, and then advances. Killotine reverses and suddenly fires the axe! OH NO! Killotines axe is stuck in one of the holes in the flywheel, and the axe head has been pulled into the disc axle, smashing it off, and jolting Killotine in the process! This looks bad for our Scottish friend...Killotine shakes off the tremor and pushes Salamander into the wall, holding him there, but almost at the edge of the CPZ! Whamlet is nearby and twin-axes the axle of Salamander, nearly missing a tire! Salamander does a nifty little spin, out of Killotines grasp, off of Whamlets scoop and away! Both Killotine and the house bot seem cheesed off at this maneouver, and Whamlet goes out of his CPZ for some revenge! Salamander meets Whamlets charge with a disc blow!

AHHHHH!!! Whamlets scoop has been torn right off...but still the lifter that was part of the scoop remains! Tira has had enough of this and comes out, ring spinning lethally. Salamander dodges her charge, and now everybody seems to be picking on Salamander! Alex seems to chuckle at this because none of the house bots nor Killotine are capable of catching and damaging him at this point. Killotine suddenly catches Salamander, and shoves him - TOWARDS THE PIT - NO!!!!!!! AND KILLOTINE NEARLY PUTS HIMSELF IN!!! :uhoh: What an escape! Salamander juts out the right wheel as he was shoved and rolls the other over the pit, and that wheel connected with the floor of the other side! Killotine at that moment had the wedge over, and stopped at the nick of time! Now that the scary part is over, we continue with the fight. Salamander spins up the disc and nearly catches the upraised what-was-once-an-axe bar of Killotine, nicking the wedge instead. Both housies have returned to their CPZs and are eagerly watching the fight. Killotine gets under Salamander again and slams him into the wall! Salamander topples and lands behind Killotine, who cant reverse in time and misses Salamander. Salamander again gets the disc up-to-speed, and finding Killotines rear end rams the flywheel into the corner! OUCH! A gash is ripped on one of the sides, and a panel is bent outwards on the other! Killotine is determined not to lose and so takes a leaf out of his last victims book, using his wedge and power to ram Salamander around. Salamander avoids Tiras CPZ and the flame pit, spinning around and being tilted by another charge from the Scottish bot. The flywheel is now back at full speed and smacks against Killotines side! Another gash! Some sparks! And one cheesed Scotsman. :proud: Killotine attempts a ram again, but Salamander revs around and pushes his stopped disc into Killotines other side, so as to steer Killy in a circle. Killotine points the wedge at Salamander, but the latter reverses and Killotine has to chase him down again.

Salamander turns around and batters the wedge of Killotine with the disc again.

Killotine spins away but comes back on the attack. However Salamander rams him from the side with the disc.

Killotine spins Salamander away and rears into him.

Two good horizontal spinners you have there, of course Warrior has the advantage of the flipper, but Aneursym has vapourbot-esque armour, whereas Warrior hasnt... Aneursym has the edge
Salamander III VS. Aquarius
Man, talking bout hard predictions, these are two very nice design. Salamander is quite well-flippable though... Aquarius has an edge here
Die-Ceratops Reinvertus VS. Clawdius Decimus Murderous
Thing here is, Clawdius has skirts and an extended wedge, while Die-Ceratops hasnt got anything like that himself. All he needs is 1 flip though, but I still think Clawdius can pit his opponent.

Hard... very hard... I believe Orka MK4 can grab EtMT and pit him but still... EtMT has lotsa traction...

CLAWDIUS DECIMUS MURDEROUS VS Die-Ceratops ReInvertus
Clawdius spikes, skirting and wedge extension should keep it pretty safe from Die-Ceratops flipper, but Ill avoid the front all the same. Basically, slip under the sides/rear, get a good hard grip on it and use the superior traction to dunk it in the primordial ooze that is the Pit.

For me....avoid getting flipped while near the edges of the arena, beign invertible its not drastically important all the time, but go for as many full power hits as possible without breakign the first part of the tactics.

AXEON destroyed Jim Struts in a matter of seconds, and then the pit decided things.
KNIGHTROUS WEDGE beat up poor Toby the T-Ram Engine and moved on.
Y4 had barely beaten NSBFR-X before his back panel was removed by Matilda.
AQUARIUS and Kali had a furious fight, and Aquarius came out on top with a judges decision.
Round 2
Knightrous Wedge finally bowed to the might of AXEONs axe and accepted his pitting.
AQUARIUS took Y4 out...of the arena, that is. :proud:

AQUARIUS shoved Shunt down the pit and then moments later shoved Axeon on top of him. :proud:

WEDGE DEVOLUTION made Leprosy Infection self-destruct his own drum before Refbot did the inevitable count-out.
Son of Ripper 5.0 and ENTER THE MAY TRACKS teamed up against the house robots and then SoR was tossed over the fence.
Ripper and TERRORHURTZ brutally fought until Terrorhurtz got the better of him and shoved him down the pit, putting himself in too. :proud:
MOTHER OF ALL BRICKS INEVITABLY EVOLVED had no problem with Terror Gear 3, and Growler was pushed into the pit.

ENTER THE MAY TRACKS tossed Mother of All Bricks away and then inverted Matilda.
TERRORHURTZ, in a huge surprise, beat Wedge Devolution in a judges decision with damage being the main factor.

ENTER THE MAY TRACKS used awesome precision and aim to toss Terrorhurtz up into the air and straight into the pit.

ORKA MK4 easily put down one of the oldest robots out there, La Machine.
WEDGA REVO 2.0 won a fairly one-sided judges decision over Slaying Mantis F.

Vampire Killer almost won his fight against METAL SONIC SPIN DASH but mistakingly went after the house robots and was taken out by Matilda.

WEDGA REVO 2.0 rammed Mass Disctruction Ultimate 3 into the pit, but not before Cassius Chrome had to be taken back to the fix-it room. :proud:
ORKA MK4 shoved Metal Sonic Spin Dash into the pit but got pulled in too!

ORKA MK4 proved to be the greater force, and Wedga was sent flying over the arena railing.

CLAWDIUS DECIMUS MURDEROUS took out Gigabyte Evilution in a classic Steve VS. Andy battle. :proud:
STARSTORM 2 flipped and flipped and flipped, and Gravity, Sgt. Bash, and Dead Metal got flipped and flipped and flipped. :proud:
ARCHANGEL OF THE ABYSS pulled an MDU and destroyed Heart of Fire with several hits.
AXE-O-LOTL barely had enough to take out Sewer Snake, but he indeedily did so.

ARCHANGEL OF THE ABYSS shocked Starstorm 2 into submission, but got knocked into the pit anyway! :proud:
CLAWDIUS DECIMUS MURDEROUS dumped all of the house robots and Axe-O-Lotl in the pit. :proud:

With the introduction of the Team Gore house robots in the tournament, Bloody Tears 2 was taken out by ANEURYSMs mighty blade.
THE ULTIMATE WEDGE sent to Obliteration his ultimate doom, and sent him onto the arena camera track!
TAILS beat Dante in a judges decision, but not before being picked on by Taki-san.
MEGABYTE removed Biohazards lifting arm in a huge crash, resulting in both robots immobilized at the same time. Biohazard was counted out first.
Round 2
TAILS disposed of Megabyte as any flipbot would: toss toss TOSS over the fence!
ANEURYSM got an almost unanimous judges decision over The Ultimate Wedge, thanks to Tira-san.
Heat Final
ANEURYSM removed Tails tails and a second later the wedge was on the pit bottom.

TOUGH AS NAILS defeated Bulldog Breed, shoving him in the pit and getting his revenge!
WARRIOR SKF got a bye...no wait...he did go up against a bot...wait...was it Chaos 2? Oh yeah, the bot that is no more. :proud:
THE DISC 5 laid a beating on his old nemesis, Slammer V, and The Watcher shoved him down the pit.
SHOVEAROUND 2 picked on the Breed twins and picked them up and threw them down into the pit.
Round 2
A great spectacle it was, but the battle ended when WARRIOR SKF shoved The Disc 5 down the pit before time ran out.
SHOVEAROUND 2 easily came, saw, and conquered Tough As Nails as TAN got sent into the hellish hole.

WARRIOR SKF rampaged through the arena, taking out every single bot in there, including Shovearound 2.

Round 1
TENGU VII outclassed her fellow FBS, Whirligig 4.0, and tore him to shreds before having a stand-off with Taki-san.
Spawn Again rather kindly allowed INFUSION BETA to win, and...lets just say that Spawn wont really be coming back. :proud:
TEMPEST EVIL-ER-OUTION won a controversial judges decision over ForcePower 5.0 with style and strategy winning it for him.
DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS easily tossed Knightmare OOTA before turning on Tira and Taki and beating them as well!
Round 2
Ancalagon the Black helped DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS defeat Infusion Beta by taking out the flywheel and electric wedge.
TEMPEST EVIL-ER-OUTION easily took out Tengu VIIs tires and was counted out rather cautiously by The Watcher.
Heat Final
DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS flipped Tempest Evil-er-oution again and again before finally getting the hockey puck bot OOTA.
Heat G winner: Die-Ceratops Reinvertus

IDSFA and Whamlet worked together to completely destroy The Great Cornholio. Asterix wasnt too happy afterwards.
KILLOTINE: EVO took out Acid Burn before the reverse happened, and after numerous attempts by both him and the house robots, Acid Burn was pitted.
STORM II flipped Mega Masher 2 OOTA by propping him up against the wall and then...guess. :proud:
SALAMANDER III tore through the weak armour of Disc-O-Inferno and pushing down the gates of hell...I mean the pit. :proud:
Round 2
SALAMANDER III ripped open IDSFAs internals and then Taki-san shoved what was left of it in the pit.
KILLOTINE: EVO easily took out Storm II and into the pit in a huge upset.
Heat Final
SALAMANDER III won a split decision over Killotine: EVO. (I made an error in the decision, the style and strategy were 3-2 in Salamanders favour.)

Obelix Bulguous and Ancalagon the Black get to participate in this, the first of the Final fights.

The Series Final begins! :proud: And already theres some action from the arena, lets go down there! Or, rather, lets just watch! :proud: Anyway its Aneurysm making the first charge, and Warrior barely dodging it. Aneurysm moves in on the wedge, but is it high enough for Aneurysm to hit? Its now apparent that it is, for Aneurysm just landed a glancing blow and falls onto the wedge! Warrior flips! Aneurysm flies! And lands with a crash onto the flame pit, and shakes it off, and goes at Warrior again! Warrior retreats and before Aneurysm can catch him guns off and for the pit! Aneurysm is taken aback by this unexpected flight but comes back to reality (or whatevers nearest :proud:) and pursues his opponent. Warrior hits the pit release button, and tips up a bit. Aneurysm crashes into him from behind!
CRASH!!!!!
And we get a huge burst of sparks as a result of this giant collision, and Aneurysm apparently has not moved at all from that. Warrior, however, is propped up against the arena wall, with a cracked flywheel shell...WHAT?! Its over?! Now?! Aneurysm backs away and seems to have won the fight...and then he comes in again with the cutting disc and smashes Warrior with it! The underbelly of Warriors flywheel takes a great gash, and Warrior lands back onto his wheels! Hes back in! Can he win? Aneurysm reverses, so as to let Warrior have a little room, but in reality spinning his cutter back up. Warrior, with both weapons taken out, does the only thing he can do at this point: RAM! The top of Warriors wedge connects with the cutter and again sparks fly, but the result is the same as last time: Aneurysm is thrown up onto the wedge! Warrior moves to deliver him to Ancalagons CPZ, but Aneurysm drives off the wedge and away. Warrior immediately chases him down, but Aneurysm turns around and hitting Warriors wedge turns right into the side of Warrior and tears into it! A panel goes flying! Warriors reaction is the same: chase him down and deliver him to the pit or house robots. But Aneurysm, despite the weapons speed, is quite nimble himself, and he easily dodges another desperate lunge from the Whyachi bot and tears into that same side that he tore into just earlier! Warrior is spun away but this time doesnt really receive any damage. Aneurysm nearly backs himself into Obelixs CPZ, and with a great heave flings himself across the arena towards Warrior, who has the wedge pointed at him again!
CRASH!!!
WAH! The wedge is gone! The wedge is gone! The wedge of Warrior SKF is completely gone. The flipper ram is still there, but the panel is gone! But Warrior has not been moved at all by the impact! In fact, hes driving right into Aneurysm, and has shoved him into the wall! Aneurysm is pinned there and cant escape. Warrior reverses and bores forward again but too late; Aneurysm gets away. But not too far away, for hes back on the attack with the cutter spinning wildly! Warrior hastily backs away, and right into Obelix! Obelix takes the initiative and brings down the hammer, which goes right through the part missing the wedge, hitting the ground. More importantly, its about to become Aneurysm food.
CRASH!!!
The above words are ever true, as Obelixs hammer head goes flying several feet, landing with a clatter on the arena floor flipper. Aneurysms cutter does not seem to have been stopped, and its back at full speed again! Warrior tries to slide away to Obelixs left side, but its his undoing, for Aneurysm advances at that exact moment.
CRASH!!!!!
And Warrior has taken a heavy blow to the inactive flywheel, which has been smashed up! The rim is almost entirely broken off! Ah, we forgot Ancalagon, whos at the scene, and pushes Aneurysm aside as he tries to get at Warrior. Warrior is still mobile, but backs up against the wall...and stops moving. Aneurysm butts in front of Ancalagon and delivers another devastating gash into Warriors flywheel! The shell of the flywheel comes off, and that rim is about ready to fall off, too! The Watcher cant really get it because Obelix is blocking his way in. Oh! Theres the lifting arm for the first time! Obelix is rear-ended and upended and out of the way! He rights himself, but heads back to his CPZ because he cant do any more damage. The Watcher starts counting Warrior out.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

Im think Im gonna be sick...Ancalagon crunches down into Warrior and drags him over to the floor flipper. Isnt Obelixs hammer head there? Yes, it is, and a second later FLIP! Warrior goes flying, and so does the head...OOTA! :proud: Warrior lands near the pit, which is still open, and Obelix bolts back out and rams him right into it.

Warrior SKF was indeed a courageous and strong one, but he couldnt match his strength with the opponents.

Aquarius starts off by advancing towards the disc of Salamander. Salamander advances towards Aquarius as well. We get an early flick of the flipper, and OOH! Salamander just tore through half of the flipper arm and sent it flying! Oh noes! But it doesnt seem like it stopped the main body of Aquarius, and the wedge drives Salamander into the wall. The part of the flipper that is attached to Aquarius gives a little flick, but Salamander is unmoved, and drives over the side of Aquarius and coming to rest upside-down. Aquarius removes himself from the wall, and resets his position. The wedgebot then drives himself towards his adversary but Salamander simply turns on the spot, parrying the charge and sticking the disc into the side of Aquarius! Actually, it looks like Salamander barely touched the top of the wedge panel on the front, but more damage has indeed been done to Aquarius as a dent in the armour has been made! A dent?! Alex is displeased that he only bent Aquarius and not ripped him wide open, but even more so when he sees that the blow was brushed off and Aquarius persistantly coming in! Hurriedly Salamander moves towards Aquarius, but Aquarius knows his foe now too well and suddenly stops. Salamander is scooped up onto the wedge and box rushed...or rather, axle rushed against the wall! Salamander thuds against the wall and bounces over Aquarius, who reverses quickly and is very slowly shoving Salamander from his spot. Salamander pushes back, and they grind to a halt, wheels burning the arena floor! Its another stand-off, and no Mexicans allowed! :proud: Suddenly, Salamander spins a bit, allowing Aquarius to roam a bit, and catches him in the other side with the disc, again barely. Again, a dent is caused, but Aquarius is not shocked by the hit and dives under Salamander. Salamander accelerates and drives off of Aquarius, and Aquarius ends up slamming himself into the wall! The axlebot closes in from behind, and both bots are in a reverse stand-off again! Neither bot can outpush the other backwards! Salamander spins again, this time holding one wheel against Aquarius, but at the same Aquarius reverses, forcing him back, and again we have a reverse stand-off! Aquarius jerks forward and slams himself against the arena wall. Salamander takes advantage of this and gets in a blow in the back, taking off a panel in a shower of sparks! Uh oh. Aquarius is spun away by the same blow, but again seems unaffected and goes in to give Salamander some more arena wall abuse. It finally sinks in Alexs head that Aquarius is trying to slam Salamander against the wall repeatedly to break something inside of the axlebot, rendering it immobile. Unfortunately for Aquarius, Salamander is heavily shockproofed, so it wont work. Aquarius doesnt seem to realize this, but slams Salamander against the wall again. Salamander is mashed but forces himself away from the wedgey pusher. Alex and Anthony share a look of hostility towards each other, and then, as if they meant to do it all along, both bots suddenly make a bolt for the pit release button. Aquarius gets there first and WHOA! Aquarius is stuck under the pit release button...which itself is pretty stuck on the wall this time! The pit opens, and Salamander nearly tumbles in. The disc bites into the back of Aquarius where the panel used to be. AHHHH!!! Theres a huge quantity of smoke emanating from Aquarius rear, and the wheels stop as this fight has evidently come to a close! Salamander does not move in for more destruction, but backs off and allows The Watcher to inspect the situation. The ref then, surely enough, commences the beginning of the end for Aquarius!

Out comes Clawdius on the attack, already under the wedge of Die-Ceratops and crunching down! But no, for Die-Ceratops runs over the side across the base of the claw and away! Clawdius decides not to attack again, but instead decides to attack Sir Killalot! Taki is out of her CPZ in a rage and collides with Clawdius side. Die-Ceratops immediately makes a beeline for Taki, who turns too late, and the 1t-force flipper sends the ninja flying over the fence! Egad! Sir Killalot is dragging Clawdius who has the rear of the big guy, towards the pit! Die-Ceratops, again almost immediately, slides under Clawdius and flings him further into Killalots backside! Killalot turns around and clamps his claw around the flipper! ACK! Sir Killalot is the mighty one indeed, having captured both of the competitors! He raises Die-Ceratops, and advances towards the arena wall...and drops Die-Ceratops over the wall, on top of Taki! The crowd is yelling Killalot! like crazy! And Sir Killalot seems to nod to their demand and opens the pit! Clawdius is unable to release his grip on Killalot, and Killalot does the suicide dive and backs straight into the pit! AHHHH!!! Steve seems to retch at this. What a sad victory...

Both competitors faced the wrath of the oldcomer Sir Killalot, but though Die-Ceratops Reinvertus went out first, Clawdius was crushed.

So begins the last quarter-final! Its Orka who charges out first, collide with EtMT and both wedges meet with a crash. But its EtMT who gets in underneath Orka and carries him to the wall...NO! Orka does not go out! He bounces off the railing and lands on top of EtMT! EtMT moves backwards and flips Orka again. Orka topples and is inverted near the arena wall, but as EtMT moves in again, Orka re-inverts himself overtop of EtMT and rides off the back and away. Oi, get back into your CPZ, Matilda! Both robots, dancing around, trying to get a little nudge in on their sides. Nothing seems to be working at the moment, and one hates to think how close this fight now is after Orka being tossed around for about 5 seconds straight! Ah, theres finally some advantage, as Orka is up underneath EtMT and has clamped him! Look at this: straight in, scoop underneath the side, straight in with a push, the claw digging in, and hoisting up EtMT in to the air! Spectacular stuff! And now Orka is in control of this fight! What will he do with EtMT now? No, no, I think Ill this damned thing over to Matilda, who takes out one of the sides, of EtMT! The flywheel grinding into the side, and removing the panel! And still Orka has its mighty hold on the Matrixbot! In comes...DBM with the spinning hammers! Im not too sure whether EtMT can escape from this grave and unusual punishment...AND IN TROUBLE HERE IS THE WATCHER AS HE SUDDENLY SEEMS TO HAVE CAUGHT FIRE! The ref is currently engulfed in flames, and Matilda is coming towards him, oh dear oh dear, whats happened to you mate? :sad: DBM is still spinning away, and Orka pushes EtMT right into the incoming hammer-maelstrom!

AHHHH!!! The exposed side...of EtMT is just completely ripped apart, the innards leaking out, the tires completely stationary, and the life has run out! And Orka seems to be having trouble with his own clamping mechanism as he cannot release the dead flipper onto the floor! DBM, coming in again, and Orka running away towards the pit, and collides with the flaming referee! Matilda doesnt like this one bit and gives a little nick to Orka with the tusks, and Orka is finally dislodged from EtMT! Ironically, he was released on top of the pit, and Orka slams himself into the pit release button. EtMT descends to his grave!

Helluva close pairing here. Its nice to see Salamander doing so well for a change, but I think its exposed wheels and Aneurysms more powerful disc may prove its downfall at last.
2) CLAWDIUS DECIMUS MURDEROUS VS Orka Mk 4
Take advantage of Orkas iffy turning and get under the sides. The Behemoth shape and bucket arms make it ideal for clamping, so squeeze down on the killer whale and dont let go. Nip over to the Pit and dump it in before it can wriggle free.
Whoever wins, its going to be a cracking clash, Kody!

Despite being faster Anuerysmss disc is also lighter and has a far higher RPM (11500 - surely illegal and dubious in terms of physics?) but anyway to get that high will take longer than it will take me to get to my max. I intend to attack his weapon - and mine is the heftier and thus likely to come out better out of any such clash. Obviously keep my wheels away, although the outer hubs should protect them from glancing blows.

ORKAS TACTICS
Previous Die-Ceratops incarnations have faced Razer equse robots before, with success, and Orka is very similar to said previous incarnations. Aim straight on with the scoop as low as possible, then flip once I get underneath. If I shuffle my position at the last moment, this may not be impossible (its worked for me before). Ideally, CDMs...problem...with Sir Killalot should hopefully still be plaguing him...I wish.

Well here we are, weve reached the final four! But only one can win this tournament! Lets forget the talking and get right into the first fight!

Here we go! Its Aneurysm, straight in on the attack, and already HITTING THE BLADE OF SALAMANDER!!!
CRASH!!!!!!!
And that was not a very wise decision, for now Aneurysm has his own blade stop completely, and Salamander is spun away, but getting his own disc spinning up there! Aneurysm turns tail and advances towards Sgt. Bash in the CPZ, and Tira is immediately out to cut him off and cut him open! Salamander comes in at Aneurysm from behind, and Aneurysm is boxed in slightly, meaning he can only try and go to the left! But thats not possible because now Sgt. Bash has shunted him into Salamanders disc!
CRASH!!!!!
Oh dear oh dear, the back panel of Aneurysm scarred up and torn, the innards not really exposed yet, though, and so he seems to be okay for the moment. Now hes away, and Tira returns to her CPZ in anger. Sgt. Bash is not really moving right now, and not really doing much of anything right now, and indeed RIGHT NOW he seems to be immobilized! Whats happened? Well well find out later in the pits maybe, and lets get back to the fight. Aneurysm coming in on the attack, having a hit on the axle hub but not doing any damage to it. Salamander seems to be in control of this fight, and is showing it, giving a glancing blow to Aneurysm with the disc and cutting out another piece of panel out of the side! Aneurysm does not appear to be stable, hes moving around all over the place - THE BLADE IS WORKING AGAIN!!! Something got...knocked out of place in the beginning of the fight and now its right where it belongs, and Aneurysm is right back where he belongs, in the fight! Salamander is not too happy about this, and is even less so when Aneurysm is coming towards him! Seeming to sigh, Salamander approaches him head-on again.
CRASH!!!!!!!
WHAT A BLOW THAT WAS! The message there was Ill be seeing you later! to Aneurysm, who is now crumpled! Lets have a look at this; straight in, huge collision, and the weapon is Aneurysm is again immobile! Yet it seems that Salamanders has taken absolutely no damage at all! This is most surprising, but Aneurysm can no longer sit here in shock; if he wants to beat Salamander, hed better act aggressively. He box-rushes Salamanders disc.
CRASH!!!!!
OH MY GOODNESS SOMETHING CAME FLYING OFF THE BLADE...OF ANEURYSM! Yes indeed, a piece of the weapon has been busted off and smashed across the floor, resting several feet away! Yet Aneurysm himself had not moved, but is doing so now, already shoving Salamander, stopping the disc and ramming the axlebot right into the arena wall! Sgt. Bash is nearby, and is not completely immobile, able to give a lick of flame and open the claw, but his wheels arent moving! Salamander away, look at that disc, so tough and durable, it must have been used in previous wars as a bombshell! :proud: Aneurysm slamming into Salamaners axle, missing the disc, throwing Salamander for a loop. Salamander spinning around, delivers another blow to the back of Aneurysm, and a huge gash, has been made across the back of the Nirvanabot, though still it seems to be okay for the most part. Aneurysm again coming in, stopping the disc again and again ramming Salamander straight into Tiras CPZ. Tira gives Salamander a cutting blow and takes off that hub on the side of the axle! Well bless me, it looks like a fireworks display in the CPZ because many colour sparks have been emitted in that collision! :proud: Salamander, trapped in the CPZ. Aneurysm shoving him right into the corner there, and The Watcher coming in, and shoves them both away. Salamander is away again, and blade spinning up to speed!

Heres Salamander with a great hit to Aneurysms side, and look at the damage! A whole chunk of the armour has been ripped right out!

Aneurysm rams Salamander right away and takes him right into Sgt. Bash, almost knocking the sergeant over!

Orka flying out almost before activate was called, and right up into the claw of Clawdius! But Clawdius finds that his quarry is too fast, and Orka is out of his grasp before the claw can descend into the gut! Furiously Clawdius pursues his opponent but Orka spins around and goes head-on again with Clawdius! Clawdius avoids it and Orka goes flying by. Clawdius aims for the sides, but no; Orka reverses by almost as fast! Clawdius makes an effort to try and outmaneouver Orka but the speed of the Behemoth-like bot is defeating him alone! Clawdius tries to different tack and reverses away towards the pit release. Orka flies head-on at Clawdius again and gets underneath the wedge! Chris hurriedly hits the flip button, and Clawdius is inverted! The pit is not open, though, and so Orka cannot carry out his plan to grapple and pit Clawdius. To make matters worse, Clawdius has righted himself from his inverted position! Orka tries another frontal assault but just ends up going onto Clawdius wedge again. Clawdius tries the sink the claw down but Orka evades the trap again! Clawdius rams Orka with the claw down and buries him into the wall! Orka backs away from the wall, and goes at Clawdius sides but misses! Whoa, look out! You almost went into Shunts CPZ there Orka! Clawdius opens the claw again and advances on Orka. Orka rams Clawdius head-on again and this time Clawdius sinks the claw down before Orka even gets into the hold! Its worked! Orka is grappled! And the claw is sinking deeper and deeper into the hide of Orka, piercing through the top armour and making a ghastly rent! Now that Orka is his, the victory is his, or is it? Clawdius backs towards the pit release button, but wait a minute! The claw opens, and Orka escapes! The claw sinks down again, and Steve is working the controls to see if the weapon is working. Indeed it does seem to be, but Orka rams him again from the front and both scoop and wedge collide, neither getting under the other! Clawdius pushes Orka back, and straight into the wall! But this forces Clawdius wedge onto the scoop, and with a quick lift, Clawdius finds the world upside-down-y again! :proud: Orka hastily tries to use his own claw but Clawdius pops himself off of the ground back onto his wheels! Another quick escape by the lord! This is highly frustrating for Orka! And now Clawdius is preparing for a full-on assault! Orka greets his opponent with another collision, and Clawdius again gets under Orka, but instead of clamping him, he takes him right into the pit release button! WHAM right into the trigger, and the claw and pit sink at the same time! Orka is grappled! Steve beams at the crowd, and Clawdius does the only thing he can do at this point - he flings Orka into the pit!

Orka proved to be a match for several robots, yet this time he proved otherwise at the test. He had not the mettle of his opponent.

Alexs underachieving axlebot has been doing so well here, its almost a shame to try and stop its winning streak. Almost. :wink:
Salamander is indeed a slippery customer, so the plan here will be to scoop under it from the back and use the claw there. From that position, Ill be able to get the most controlled hold on it, avoid the disc and I might even lift the wheels off the ground too. Dunk in the Pit before anything unpleasant happens.

Orka out immediately, crashing into Aneurysm - whoa-ho! Aneurysm wobbling around a little bit, and Orka in on the attack, and grappling him - no, Aneurysm evades the arm and backs away, trying to stay away from that scoop...on the front of Orka. Orka in again, chasing down his adversary - AHHHH!!! Aneurysm has just collided with the arena wall disc-first, and the blade just flew right off! Oh how sad! And now its slim pickins for Orkas scoop and axe, and Aneurysm...does not seem to be moving that much, crawling around, and Orka collides with his back, and in comes the scoop, and the axe, and the lift, and I think we know how this fight is going to end...oh yes the crowds chanting Pit! Pit! Pit! as well, they know how its going to end! Orka rams his captured foe into the pit release button, opening the, ahem, pit pit pit, and shove shove shove, in goes Aneurysm - Orka has claimed 3rd seed in the Crash & Burn Tournament and now hes heading over to Double Whamlets CPZ and tossing the housie over! Dead Metal is out of his CPZ and out at Orka, but Orka has grappled Whamlet and is shoving him into Dead Metals own claws! Dead Metal backs away...and mistakeningly into the pit, right on top of Aneurysm! And Orka piles Whamlet on top of him and thats that for this short playoff.

Aneurysm...caused insanity in the membrane, caused destruction in the arena, but this time in the arena, he caused his own self-destruction, and therefore has lost this match, going to his place as the 4th seed.

And so my tournament draws to a close...but its not the end. In a week Ill start the ATTTWI, and mid-way through that sign-ups for the C&BT2 will begin, if people are willing to sign up. And some time after that I shall start the 3rd session of my house bot tournament. I know, I spoil you all, dont I? :proud:
So dont think Ive left after this! This is only the beginning! Me and Team Gore will carry on, even unto the ending of the FanFic section, which will hopefully not come too soon.
Ah, now thats out of the way, its time.
This is the final battle of the tournament, and only one of these brave robowarriors will claim the crown.

Clawdius Decimus Murderous had a smashing time here. He barreled through his opponents like a king on acid. :proud: Gigabyte, Axe-O-Lotl, ArchAngel, Die-Ceratops, and Orka all fell to his sharp and icy claw. But hes not done. He will never be satisfied until he claims his rightful crown, as he thinks it is. But will it be his, or will Clawdius go the way of the traitorous Roman conspirators?
Salamander III was just plain awesome. Underachieving in almost every tournament he entered, hes stunned the audience by reducing Disc-O-Inferno, IDSFA, Killotine, Aquarius, and Aneurysm to metal fillings. And thats not enough for our reptile fiend. Once more he will enter the arena and fight his way to victory...or to death, if he makes one false move. Is this Salamander hardy enough, or will it be fodder for Clawdius claw?

Final battle commenceth! :proud: Out comes Clawdius, deadly and guileful, looking to sink that claw into the innards of Salamander, but Salamander evades this chance by stacking himself up against the arena wall. Clawdius is no fool to dive into such a trap, and decides to open the pit. Salamanders rage is triggered and he bolts out to get Clawdius attention. This he gets, but not in a good way! Clawdius indeed turns, but slides away from the charge, and aims for the axle! But no, for Salamander spins around and out of harms away as well, and goes for a disc hit on Clawdius!
CRASH!!!
The sides taken some damage, and Clawdius has been thrown for a loop, but thankfully lands back on his wheels! Salamander comes forward again forgetting that his blade is stopped and bumps Clawdius on the other side panel near the front. Clawdius wakes up and swivels around to possibly get that claw around the back and clamp, but Salamander eludes Clawdius attempts to grapple him. A little frustrated now, Clawdius hunts him down and tackles him with the front wedge into the arena wall. Salamander tilts upwards, and with the disc spinning again thats not too good! But the bottom of the disc scrapes Clawdius beak and slows down, and gradually is stopped. Clawdius sinks down the claw again and hes got him! Umm...oh dear. Suddenly, Sir Killalot comes out of nowhere and tackles Clawdius from the back! ...ah wait, they were fighting near a CPZ, werent they? :proud: Anyway this rough shove loosens clawdius grip on Salamander, who again escapes. Steve glares at Sir Killalot before Clawdius makes another attempt, diving straight into the spinning disc of Salamander!
CRASH!!!
And I must say that Clawdius chances in this final are pretty slim now thats hes lost his front wedge! Look at that; as soon as the disc connects with the wedge, the panel flies right off! Talk about power! But Clawdius seems to disregard this completely, tackling Salamander again and ramming him right into Mr. Psycho waiting in one of the CPZs! Psycho brings down the hammer and hits Salamander straight on the left wheel! Ooh, I wonder how this is going to effect him...Psycho brings down the grappling arm but Salamander is already away and YES THERE IS SOME DAMAGE! Salamanders left tire is flat! Hes hobbling around the arena...the power of that hammer does its job again. New life has been given to Clawdius as he hurtles again into Salamander, and misses him only by a fraction, glancing off of the left side and spinning Salamander around. Salamander now has its weapon spun up and buries it into Clawdius left side again!
CRASH!!!
An even bigger hole has been given to the panel, and if you look closely you can see one of the S28-300 Magmotors powering Clawdius! Clawdius is again resilient to the hit and rams Salamander into the wall again! Salamander struggles to get away, and suddenly Sir Killalot, again nearby, interrupts the moment with his own claw, and grabs Clawdius! Whats going on?! Clawdius breaks free, but does not pursue Killalot, knowing that hes outnumbered 4 to 1. This, however, allows Salamander to escape AGAIN. Steve gives another glare to the knight and Clawdius goes on the attack again. Salamander is not doing too well out there with that left tire, hes just wobbling around, and missing the pit release button which he meant to hit...Clawdius takes advantage and piles Salamander into the wall again. Salamander escapes AGAIN before the claw can sink down. Furious with this onslaught of quick getaways, Clawdius himself hits the pit release button, and for the final time this tournament, the gate of robot hell descends into the depths. Salamander comes in but misses Clawdius with the disc. Clawdius tackles Salamander again from the side, and drives him up the exposed wedge in his claw. But in doing so the disc travels along the side and connects with the claw!
CRASH!!!
The crowd gasps as a piece of the claw is sheared off and hits DBM, ricocheting off and landing in the pit. Well at least the pit claimed something. :proud: Anyway, now Clawdius is really disabled by this blow...
10...9...8...7...
Clawdius allows Salamander to go free, and Salamander nearly ends up driving himself down the pit!
6...5...4...
Clawdius comes in but its too late, and Salamander is away, wobbling towards the flame pit in a desperate attempt.
3...2...1...
Clawdius attacks Salamander and shoving him into the wall one final time...
CEASE!!!
Goodness me! What a match! This is a final for sure! Lets take a look at this big melee while we get the judges decision!
(replays - shots of Clawdius tackling Salamander into the wall, Salamander ripping off parts of Clawdius side, and tearing off the front wedge. Moves by the house robots, and finally the shearing off of part of Clawdius claw)
Ooh, tension...:proud:...well...the judges have made their decision. Based on strategy, style, control, damage, and aggression...this was very tough to call despite the last hit...but theyve gone...
