Well, are you looking hard enough? Well, here they are anyway.
MEGA MASHER 2
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Minion
Speed: 12mph
TC: 0
GC; 0 at front, 1mm at sides due to skirts.
Wheels; 4 inner.
Armour: A nice 3mm of steel
Power: Similar stuff to what Tornado uses.
Colour: Red and yellow.
Weapons; The front is a wedge, and the back has a nasty vertical disc, powered by its own motor and spinning at 2000 rpm. It can probably flip as well as damage. A side Minion style bar comes out from the side.
Srimech: The aforementioned bar rights the robot, even though it can run inverted.
Inspiration; This is probably the only robot I have where I have had no inspiration. It just came as a good name.
Strengths: Power, weaponary
Weaknessess: A little bulky, not as heavy as the body would suggest.

Mega Masher is still hell bent on robot destruction. Whether you think of him as the baddest, most brutal robot ever or just a power crazed crazy thing - just dont tell him when his disc is spinning at full throttle! His wedge is also dangerous; being one of the lowest out there. Dont trust this robot to lose as far as you can throw him! Even better, dont try to throw him at all; hes based around Battlebot champion Minion, and way too bulky for flipping.
Oh well that said Ill go after Mega Masher. I should be able to tear the armour up nicely, which is more than I can do against the others. After that Ill head for Chalkie.

I will use the sword and drive straight into PowerPoint, its weapon is too high to hit me before I can get the sword under and lift it up enough to push it towards the pit, standard skateboard wheels are crap because they break up so easiy when on steel. I trust Frank to deal with Mega Masher, if he hasnt, I will drive straight into the rear disc, where I should be low enough not to be flipped and repeat the pit tactic...

Well, Id rather keep out of the way of The Disc, even though Ive always wanted to fight it, and dont want to miss any chance OF fighting it, no matter how many times I do. Keep the wedge pointing at it constantly, and use the disc to attack the other two.

The four-wheel drive is very powerful and the skirts will protect it from most flippers, but after its famous duel with Nightmare, the quality of its armour is rather questionable.

One of the earliest uberbots returns! Box-shaped with a scooped front, awesome 6WD and the best skirts man can make, SpinVerter is back again with its horrifying pneumatic tossing arm! The mechanics promise Wheely Big Cheese-style throws and the titanium/vanadium armour will be hard even to scratch, but 20mph speeds may mean dodgy controls at times.

By far the quickest of todays batch of battlers, Love Bite shoots off first and crashes straight into the opened jaws of Tough as Nails! However, before the Dutch wonder can get a hold of it, Chris powers straight underneath and flips it right over with the front flippah! Being invertible, however, this has little effect and before Mr Cooper can twirl round and get the claws into play, his opponent has dashed away and gone to join SpinVerter and Slam Job! Right now, our No.7 seed is trying to chase down the fellow veteran - much to Scott and Aarons distress! Their machines been on the receiving end of a Roper beating before and dont want another one anytime soon! But before the Australian annihilator can advance on the American, Tough as Nails hits the scene and clamps onto good ol S.J. from the side! Digging its wheels into the arena floor, the real robot tries to drag its prisoner up to the Void Activator, but Slam Job didnt return to the PTT for this sort of humiliation! With some desperate wriggling, the yankee breaks free and slips itself under the Dutch destroyer! Immediately, Aaron fires the axe and without skipping a beat, begins shoving Tough as Nails up the warzone and straight into the Void Activator! That all-too familiar siren begins to do its thing just as the American gets an unwelcome shunt up the rear from Love Bite! Angered, the PTT2 competitor relinquishes its hold on Jeroens machine and instead shunts Chris into the nearest wall! The axe begins smacking down on the hardox shell (doing little more than scarring the paintjob, at the moment) when SpinVerter bustles over! Now all four competitors are stuck up by one corner...but not for too much longer! Charging straight in, Tom crashes straight into the Love Bite/S.J. fray and slips its scoop under the American. Before Scott can try and get away, Lord Roper activates the infamous arm and sends the PTT2 Semi-Finalist cascading nearly 10ft into the air and out of the ring!
Slam Job gets slam dunked! Back to the unemployment office for you. :proud:
Somewhat terrified now, Love Bite rockets away from its Australian rival and instead charges back into Tough as Nails metallic embrace! Just as before, the flipper easily slides under and flicks the fellow newbie over with ease, but just Chris spins around and slots the jaws inbetween one of the Dutch robots chunky outer wheels, here comes SpinVerter to mess things up! Scraping under the side skirts, Tom wastes no time in firing the arm and tossing its twin-wedged opponent some 8ft upwards! With a clatter, Love Bite lands upside-down and rather embarrassed...but just as the flipper begins to self-right the newbie, Tough as Nails dashes in and allows the double-wedges back end to land on top of it! Immediately, Aaron allows the jaws to clamp onto Chris creation and shoots down the arena straight to the Void! In panic, Mr Cooper is pressing anything he can to get free, but Jeroen finally reaches the hole and lets his Aussie pal relinquish his grip so the newcomer can slide into the abyss below...

But potential top speeds of 28mph may prove hazardous for Dave more than anyone else...

Its Minion on a bender! :proud: Mega Masher Mk 2 is an invertible box-wedge, whose main weaponry consists of a massive vertical 2000rpm disc on the rear. Tornado-strength traction to the four wheels and that nasty weapon equal some impressive power while skirts add to the protection, but the 3mm steel may prove to be pretty flimsy in todays vapourboteering world.

Call this spanner a tool and hell tighten your nuts. :proud: Wrench-shaped and running on eight little Big Nipper-style wheels, PTT5 (har-de-har-har) is equipped with a 2000rpm horizontal spinning disc with little saw-like teeth. The invertible frame is a nightmare for flippers and the 10mm titanium sheel is well ard. But pushing power is pretty average and turning could be hindered by its wide frame.

Off like a rocket, Chalkie ignores the other competitors temporarily and smashes head-on into the Void Activator! Once again, that ol drone fills the warzone as Dave returns back down the ring, where things are already heating up! Mega Masher and the Disc can be seen encircling one another, Franks flywheel a mere blur as it tries to get into contact with the steel skin of Chris creation! However, before Mr Sheppard can try and intervene, Powerpoint comes out of nowhere and rams the newcomers side with some impressive force! Although the disc appears to be too high to hit its rival, that doesnt stop Mattys machine from shoving it around! Indeed, Chalkie then proceeds to be smashed into the nearest wall rather violently by PTT5 at least twice before it retaliates! Swinging round violently, the front sword of Daves latest warrior slips beneath Powerpoint before it can get away and slowly begins lifting the veteran off the arena floor! However, just as the blade reaches maximum height, the giant spanner ends up sliding off and bangs back onto the ground! Angered at losing its prey, Chalkie begins an unusual dance with the two-time PTT competitor to try and catch it once more! At this point, though, we must turn our attention to the other side of the ring! Wishing to break their little stalemate, Chris goes kamikaze and sends Mega Masher charging into the Discs...erm...disc! :proud: In a shower of sparks, both bots are sent jumping backwards! A nasty rip has been put in the front of Mr Masons wedge, but at least hes slowed the dreaded flywheel in the process! Just as Frank starts revving it up again, the PTT4 competitor charges back into it and smashes the No.26 seed into the nearest wall! Chris turns his bot around to bring its own disc into the action...when Powerpoint dashes across the arena (closely followed by Chalkie) and gives the veteran a large bump to one side! As the saw-like spinner nibbles away at the 3mm steel and Daves machine tries to knock the spanner away, the Disc gets more than enough time to get the flywheel going again! Finally getting away from PTT5s gnawing (with a nice clobber from its own disc), Mega Masher sets its sights on the seed again! But where is it? Mr Mason gets his answer in the form of a massive blow to one of the side plates! And another! And another! The former VFT champion is battering away at that steel armour like a bot possessed and creating a series of ghastly rips and tears as a result! Matters arent helped when Mega Masher tries to bring the wedge back into play and the No.26 seed puts an enormous slash right down it! As Chalkie and Powerpoint resume their dance-off nearby, the Disc jerks away from a swipe by the Minion lookalike! Effortlessly, the awe-inspiring axlebot runs a ring around its rival before adding another punishing blow to the already rather mutilated sides! Desperately, Mr Mason attempts to fight back, but a few more hits are all he gets from the more battle-hardened robot! Suddenly, however, the Disc ends its assault and backs off for a moment. Mega Masher is now sitting a few metres from the Void - perfectly immobile and looking like it lost a battle with a cheese grater! :proud: Feeling merciful, Frank allows the Grim Beeper to trundle over and gets Chris suffering over with...
1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10!!!!!!!!!!
However, just as the countdown ends, Chalkie and Powerpoint bound into the picture and with them so close to the Void, it seems the dance could be over very shortly! Indeed, Dave dashes towards PTT5 with an extra boost and tries to do just that, but merely ends up clipping the older machines side! Matty, however, has much more luck! As Mr Sheppards bot recovers from its blow, the giant spanner rams into the newbies side and dunks it into the pit just like that...before tumbling down itself! :proud:

It may be tough, but I think The Disc can pull this one off fairly easily.
The Disc 5 (26) VS Tough as Nails
should be a VERY though match, with The Discs design, I wont be able to stop the disc before it spins up, so I wont try. The room between the pincers is 96 cm (according to one of the team-members, who I mailed this afternoon ;)) so I wont be able to just grab the total widt of the machine, and thereby becoming virtually invurnerable for the weapon...
if I can keep The Disc in front of me, my wheels and CO2 should be pretty save, then grab one of the wheels and pit it ASAP
I predict Spinverter 3 beating PTT5 (robot, not tournament) on a JD, and The Disc 5 thinking Mmmm, exposed wheels (gargling sound) and laying the smackdown on TAN.

Those wheels are fairly tough, but theyre still the weakest part of the machine. If memory serves, I cant hit the exposed ram at the rear, because theres a little rim above and below.
Thanks to the shape of the thing (which one day I may be forgiven for) I dont think he can effectively grip me. If he tries to grip the wheel pods, I may be able to spin around and hit him on the side.
But anyway. Target = Wheels. Seeing everyone by now should know my exposed wheel fetish, I probably didnt even need to post that:proud:
Im actually more confident about this one than I probably should be. My tactics will be as follows:
If I can keep the disc facing whatever bit of him is comign at me, then all he can flip is under the disc. The disc is stronger than his flipper, and its likely to buckle eventually leavign his weapon useless. From there, all I need to do is keep ramming into the corners and try and shred off the nuts and bolts. The armour itslef may be difficult to slice, but the joints are more liekly to be vulnerable and if we can tear off part of a panel then we can have all sorts of fun:proud:

Immediately, both machines charge straight towards each other, Powerpoints disc already whirring ferociously! Just near the centre of the ring, the flywheels meets SpinVerters scooped front and the duo bounce away from each other in a pretty shower of sparks! Recovering slightly the quicker (and now with a scar in its royal blue paintjob!), our No.7 seed dashes back into action and slips under its rivals cresent-shaped side! The scoop fits easily underneath and in a burst of CO2, the veteran of PTT 1 and 4 is sent 8ft up into a somersault before landing with a clatter like a disowned spanner! How apt. :proud: Powerpoint barely gets a chance to fight back, however, as Toms creation bashes into it and slams it right into the nearest wall! Once again, SpinVerter slips underneath and launches the fellow vet into the air! Unfortunately, however, Mattys machine stays on the right side of the wall and promptly darts away from the No.7 seed as the disc gets up to speed! With a little boost of power on its own half, the Australian annihilator rockets off in pursuit and clashes head-on with the whirling spinner! Another flash of sparks signals their collision as the two bounce aside once more! Flywheel now virtually at a standstill, SpinVerter seizes its chance! The twice PTT Semi-Finalist bashes back into its spanner-shaped nemesis and halts the disc completely on contact! But it isnt stopping there - powering on like a bullet train, our 7th seed heads for another fence, activates the infamous flipper and sends dear old Mr Fowlers creation hurtling over and out of its third contest!

ACTIVATE!!!!!!!!!!
Almost at once, the disc of the Disc starts to gain momentum as our two competitors make their way cautiously to the middle of the ring. For a few moments, the duo simply begin encircling the area, sizing each other up. The tension finally reaches its climax as Tough as Nails, slightly the quicker in todays remaining match, tries to make a grab for its rival. Literally. :proud: However, the No.26 seed seems quite prepared for this eventuality and twirls around to whack the newbie on the side of one of the claws! The hardox shell happily withstands the blow for now, but its left the Dutch machine rather dazed! After taking a second blow from the fearsome flywheel, Jeroen tries to take command and swerves away as the Disc attempts hit number three! Thinking it best to put their plan into operation ASAP, the Netherlander twirls his machine around and charges up the arena into the Void Activation Button! For the umpteenth time, that glorious siren begins to deafen all present, while the Disc sneaks up on the reversing T.A.N. and clips one of the wheels with its namesake! The pincer-on-wheels hops a little on contact, a little piece of the tyre having now been cut loose! Thankfully, Jeroen manages to twirl away from another blow and hurridly charges at the No.26 seed side-on! The former VFT champion slips easily into the claws from this angle as Martijn quickly snaps them shut! A twin set of sparks are produced as the grabbers meet the spinner itself, but now, the RW7 Semi-Finalist has the Disc completely in its grasp! Wasting not a second, Tough as Nails makes use of its greater traction and begins shoving the annoying axlebot towards the Void! However, the Dutch newbie only makes it about three-quarters of the way there before the No.26 seed (wriggling frantically in its bonds to escape) actually starts clambering over one of the real robots claws! In a moment of panic, the jaws snap open and the previous Heat Finalist bounces back onto the floor, a free bot! Determined for some payback, the Disc sneaks around to the disorientated T.A.N.s side and wallops a wheel as hard as it can with the legendary...erm...disc! The force of this blow very nearly throws the newcomer over, but Tough as Nails and its wheel remain generally intact! When another attack from the flywheel rips another strip of the rubber loose, however, it appears that Franks self-confessed exposed wheel fetish is starting to overpower him! :proud: In an attempt to cool him off, T.A.N. quickly spins around to the PTT veterans side and once again makes for a grabbin! Again, the seed fits easily into the gaping jaws side-on and Martijn grapples on as hard as the CO2 ram will let him! Amidst another pair of sparkly showers, the spinner comes to a halt, much to Mr Goachers worry! At this point, the Void is just a mere trundle away and without wasting a moment of its temporary triumph, Tough as Nails dashes straight for it as the Disc begins to wiggle loose! Finally reaching the edge, Mr Benschopp releases its prey and lets Jeroen give a little nudge, just to make sure the former VFT champion goes down our hole properly. It does.

The Disc 5 suddenly looks rather toothless, as the No.26 seed doesnt quite cut it! Mark 6, anyone? :proud:

TAN to be able to ignore the flipper on Spinverter (since it did ignore it pretty well on RoboChiken and Bulldog during RW), and be able to ignore the spinner pretty well (since the hardox seems to do that well) and then get a grip on Spinverter to the point were SpinV will wish that there was no pit.

Spinverter, easier to approach, harder to pit.
Spinverters though armour wont be a real problem, TAN isnt made to destroy, just to grab, and thats what Ill do, grab and take control.
As long as I havent got hold of him, Ill try to move the fight to the centre of the arena, once I have him, Ill have some fun with arena discs, and perhaps the house robots. Once I hold him in a way from which he cant escape (ie by deflecting my pincers by opening his flipper), Ill go for the pit release button, and evantually for the pit.
No Martijn you got the wrong idea, take spinverter straight to the pit as soon as you got him in your hands.
Tom is a brilliant driver and so he wont let you get him more than once.
This could be a close battle, but I think TAN has a slight advantage over SpinVerter. For a 2 wheeled robot, TAN has a tonne of traction, and could outpush other robots easily.
I bet Jeroen dissagrees.
I think the sloped sides on Spinverter will be an utter pain in the ass for TAN to grab. IF I also remember right, Spinverter was lower then 120mm in height.... I think SV will beat TAN on a JD after flipping TAN around.

One of the most anticipated matches of the War thus far has now begun and what better way to kick things off than with yet another full blown head-on collision? :proud: With the quicker SpinVerter making the first move, our two protaganists meet painfully just near the arena centre! Despite knocking its rival backwards with sheer force, the No.7 seed now finds itself perfectly within Tough as Nails grasp! Immediately, Martijn activates the claws...but his eyes bulge as the two pincers slide almost right the way up those sloping sides! After a little quick wrigging into position, the seed darts right underneath the Dutch competitor and fires its infamous arm! However, with some quick activation of the jaws just before launch, T.A.N. gets a quasi-decent grip on the titanium/vanadium box that is its rival and only ends up being thrown a few feet upwards! Upon landing, though, things dont get much better! Darting under the rear end of the real robot, SpinVerter goes full steam ahead up the Warzone and fires the flipper just before reaching the top wall! Thankfully, Tough as Nails flies mainly upward rather than forward and crashes back down on top of our No.7 seed after a nice 7ft fall! In a flash of blue, the Dutch warrior scrambles off its nemesis...but not without being rammed into the topmost arena disc and getting a scratch in the hardox armour in the process! Before its rival from Down Unda can retaliate, T.A.N. reverses as quickly as possible back into the Void Activator! Just as it pull out of the corner again, though, SpinVerter catches up again and just manages to swerve under the sides! One burst of CO2 has the PTT newbie thrown right over, but given its invertibility, thats not exactly much of a problem! Seeking revenge, Tough as Nails narrowly dodges another ram and slips its jaws around the veterans sides! As though on instinct, Martijn activates the gas, but once more, the claws find it hard to grapple the sloped bodywork! The No.7 seed is in quite a weak hold and its little more than a couple of seconds before Tom wriggles free and back into action! After taking a cheeky flip for its troubles, Jeroen has a change of heart...and runs away! :proud: As the quicker of the two, SpinVerter isnt far behind and catches up just as T.A.N. passes by Dulcys corner in the top-right corner! However, Lord Roper finds himself distracted from the real machine as the House Robot lurches to the edge of her domain and bumps the vapourbot legend hard with her hardox claws! Not one to resist a challenge, Tom detours into the Patrol Area as the roboticized dragon lets loose a belch of flame! The Aussie seems undeterred, though, and after scraping under her sides, a fresh burst of carbon dioxide has the token bird of the Team Coldheart crew toppled over onto her side like Del Trotter in the pub! :proud: Feeling justifiably chuffed with its success, Tom now turns his attention to Tough as Nails...who has just shot up the ring and smacked the Aussies bot right in the scoop! Getting another flimsly squeeze on the side-slopes, the Dutch contender finds its grip loosened once more as the No.7 seed flips the newbie off and away a short way ahead of it! Recovering almost at once on landing, Jeroen reverts to his fleeing tactics and dashes down the arena with SpinVerter in hot pursuit...straight for the Void! Obviously aware of this tactic, Lord Roper takes care in slowing his creation as it gets nearer the vicinity of our pit! Only now with a short distance between them on the hole does T.A.N. strike again, sharply swerving towards the twice PTT Semi-Finalist and engaging in a brief waltz before wrapping its claws around the boxy bot once more! Immediately getting another weak grip (courtesy of Mr Benschop), Tough as Nails wastes no more time and turns towards the Void before its too late! However, SpinVerter squirms to freedom mere feet away and promptly inverts its Dutch rival yet again! Both are now on the verge of oblivion, hurridly trying to scrabble to the others side! Tom gets there first and leaves the flipper alone this time, simply wanting to get the newbie down that hole ASAP! But now, its T.A.N.s turn to act the slippery customer! The RW7 Semi-Finalist jerks backwards from the edge of the pit...SpinVerter nearly falls in itself and tries reversing to safety...Jeroen rockets in from behind...and our two blue bruisers find themselves tumbling into the purple-and-yellow abyss together!

Youve not had one like that from me in a good long while, have ye? :) Obviously, we need a winner from our two fallen fighters and the Judge has taken it upon himself to review the pitting several times. Upon these examinations, we can announce that the first machine to plunge to its doom and hit the floor was...

Good heat final there, Steven - I wasnt expecting that result!
DA3 will go for Pussycat first - if I hit him hard with the curved scoop, I may be able to send him tumbling, then I can strike or pin him with the axe. After a few shots at him, Ill go for HOHK or Intensity, keeping at their sides and seeing if I can get under and shove them around as well.
