Aye, we wanted to give st Hammer a run for its money in interchangeable weapons. Hopefully in a few months we can get an eclectic lifter going. Also a spinner weapon is planned some time in the future.

Im thinking logos rather than paint. Might do a paint job later on, but we dont have long before Barnsley. Been working on some logos tonight, so, well see.

love the vid guys. getting done by a workbench isnt good tho. the robot is looking well tho and i bet you cant wait to actually run it to its full potential.
The workbench defeat was just a hiccup. Once the robot is completely finished, we have the confidence we will be able to beat any workbench you throw at us. :lol:
It looks quite nice on video. I am happy with it.
It is only running on two flat 18amp SLA batts in the video. We should be running on three and have put three in for weight.
And yeah that mulla yogurt was nasty. Dont know whos falt that was as I thought that bin bag just had old cloths but no it had rubbish. It has been there for at least 3 months and the only reasson why it doesnt smell is because its so cold in there that i dont think it can decompose :P
Its always good to see another HW robots first steps, I think it should do well in the arena. Keep it simple, keep it going and keep it away from St Hammer!!!

Not sure probably an electric lifter. I hope it will have more success than the old Saint!
I think there should be more lifters. Sure they seem worse than flippers, but Bio-Hazard always did well :proud:
A lifter has many advantages in the current arenas. Being able to gently roll a robot up against a wall can immobilse it. At Barnsley, Cabrakan could rest immobilised on its side, but this only happened once because the CO2 flippers are too powerful to be accurate. A flipper is good at getting a robot OTA, a lifter could be good in other ways. Thinking about putting one on my heavy, and Cabrakan will have one in the future too.
How many e-lifters are there at the moment

I think Big Nipper have to be one of the most successfull lifters around !! Maybe even ever !
Dont forget Storm 2 the lifter on that is quick and powerfull!!!
