The colours are now black and silver? They seem to be according to the new pic.

yeah black and silver was a choice both me and jason made. thor has gone to black and silver too so they will be new team colours. hope it doesnt make the rendering too difficult to change:). i want a team logo too any designs kodster? want it across the back and top. pointless doing the front and sides as they will just get scratched off. jason has lighting on thor i want something for envy.

Not much use putting the sign on the top after Tiberius destoryed the top :proud:

Put the sign on the flipper - that way, if anyone wants to scratch it off, they have to go to the front and drive onto the flipper - hint :mrgreen:

tiberious didnt do the top he did the front side. i dont think the lure of nice artwork would work paul. nice idea tho

Yes, I feel it was a good idea. The lure is that it will dent your pride becuase you wont have a name on your robot anymore.

But you were right, Tiberius didnt do the thin 5mm thick Ali top which may not take too much, but the thick 5mm Hardox body designed to take on many weapons in the vapourbot world - quite annoying in a way :proud:

envy will be at portsmouth. new front and straightened flipper and new speed controller so should be back to winning form. i think 8645t is in line for an oota. but new arena dictates you will need 3 ootas to win.

envy is sat waiting to be fitted with a wotty speedo. what i have seen of them they are very good indeed. iron awe stalled a motor and the wotty carried on. nowt wrong with that. new 8mm ti scoop and rebuilt front end are the latest upgrades. just hope it all comes together.

a successful test at porstmouth but now need a new set of ni-cads. it never ends. £££££ the new front end is the best its ever been and the wotty is a very nice speedo. can now dispose of the gyro. will fornow install a couple of 13ah hawkers till i can afford some new batteries. should be ok with a high distarge rate from hawkers should still how power. onward we go.

Its taking the same shape :) I threw the parts on a heap, imagined a body around it, and the was a forward hinged wedge style robot... So Envy :)

well, the single thing that is remotely similar is the forward hinged flipper.

But in my case its a forward hinged lifter based on 2 wiper motors :) This is something Im building for fun, but also for keeps. So full hardox armor and good engineering, I was even measuring stuff instead of just welding it !

Just something I can throw in the back of the car, if my girlfriend and me decide to take a trip to the uk again :)

the link is ok, you just have to download the file because it isnt a file that internet explorer recocgnizes...

I get a message saying Internet Explorer cant download the file because the site was unavailable or could not be found

I have the same problem in both Explorer and Firefox.

The MIME type for .MP4 probably isnt recognised by the server. Youll need to rename it to something else for the server to let people download or get .MP4 added to the MIME types on the server. Normally zipping the file is a good work around.

Ill host it on youtube or something, much easier...
Or make a new one with a camera instead of a phone ;)
Ill do some more work and make a new film.

sorted out cutting out problems with envy it was the battle switches causing the robot to cut out. i am now stripping envy down and doing a rebuild so it will have hardox all over. an inner chassis for strength against hammers and all its niggles that bug me ironed out. i will do a build diary with piccys on this one i think.
