Are there going to be raptors at robo challenge?

not that i know of, but if you want to bring one your more than welcome and if there are a few there will be plenty of time for some whiteboards

ummmm can i ask about the new weight rule, as i dont know about it.

From 01 01 08 feathers will have the weight of 30lbs, like about any other feather over the world.
Main difference is that CO2 users lose the consumables.

as im seeing lots of scary new robots coming through for 2008 (tony booths to name one!) i thought it was time to show a pic of my new fw spinner in build. it has a 3kg disk and the speed is ummmmmm fast :wink:,

James, last minute changes has made me decide this robot is going to be built to the new 13.6 weight limit, so unfortunately will only appear in white boards at your event. will look forward to a full combat event of yours in 2008!

just wondered is anyone taking any fws at the new weight limit to this event to test or anything? as i wont be able to do alot with mine,being at the new weight:sad:

james can i bring something that we can destroy in the arena, to test out the weapon? i will bring a bin bag and broom:lol:

ye that should be fine adrian. look forward to seeing it. i know of at least one other machine thats being built for this event, they are putting skinny armour on to get it into 12kg and then putting the proper armour on for the 13.6kg weight.
