gary, are you revealing what sort of weight you have in that disk and your rpm. My disk is just over 2 kilos,(horizontal not vertical) hardox 650, no idea of rpm yet! its still in build, hoping to be completed by end march.

What normally happens with the art work on my robots is that every body trys to be the first to scratch it. It makes for a intresting first minute to the fight.

Adrian, 2kg and I have still to decide on rpm but it will be from 3000 to 4000.

Gary, they might even put holes in a few layers of paper, could possibly even manage cardboard. You dont need to armour the top of you robot, especally around the speed controller :).

Gary not much as I have got the freindly head on not the full combat one. I would go for 4000 rpm on your disc. On DragonStrike it runs at about 4000rpm and it does damage Hardox 400. It was getting about half way through 4mm hardox per hit. :proud:

lol no worries mark, I know that you can puncture 5mm poly. You put a big crack through hornets polycarb top at the uk champs last year :)

Hmm, I think Ill be keeping Kaizer and its 2-3mm ali chequerplate chassis to the whiteboards for the moment :lame:

Tony - at XFM spooktacular dragonstrike went 3.4mm deep into my hardox scoop, and that wasnt in the corner! Although I was driving at it full speed.

Ouch...Pure Evil looks devastating...so does Dragonstrike...are all these robots on acid or something?! :crazy:
