for what its worth, I dont think it will detonate instantly, but it had better not need lots of hits to KO its opponents, or come into contact with arena walls, because then it most likely will.
It certainly wont kill Manic Monsoon. Its friggin fast as hell, and MeCannibal being a shuffler wont help either. Itll get rammed too much.:P
And honestly, I dont ever remember saying anything good about it. I still think its overweight. :P
More overweight than most of our (and even some of your other) vapourbots, that is, Paul. :proud:

Gabriel is the angel from HELL! It€™s got a nasty high pressure flipper on the front, and some spikes on the side to cause max damage. Its armour is not the best, however.
From Team Unknown, Exertion!
Exertion has 15 mph top speed, an S24-800 powered lifting scoop and a good pushing power. It€™s also invertible, but being invertible always means that the wheels are exposed from the top.

Gemini was the first clusterbot ever in Robot Wars, and it inspired a lot of other roboteers to do the same thing. It has a good flipper on it, and of course, the nasty attitude that all combatants have. However, if one part of the robot goes out, then this means that the whole robot goes out.

So, Gemini immediately separates, and Gabriel and Exertion takes care of Gemini 1 and 2. Exertion lifts Gemini 1 and slams it into the wall!

Now Gabriel comes in and flips over Gemini 2, and it self-rights directly! Now, Gabriel just slams into Gemini 1 and pushes it towards the hammers! The 50kg hammers come down!
WHAM!
OH!!!!!! Gemini€™s getting crumpled! That armour is not going to last very long if the hammers come down again, but luckily, it escapes just in time. Now, Gabriel gets under Gemini 1 again and flips it over! Exertion now lifts Gemini 2 and pushes it towards the saws! BZZZT! Now, Gemini is in all sorts of trouble! Gabriel comes in again and yes, after 29 seconds into the fight, Gabriel gets under Gemini, carries it to the wall, and€¦

Manic Monsoon is here to whip up a storm! It€™s got 5mm Hardox Armour and a lifting arm like Bio-Hazard that can lift 200kgs. It€™s nippy at 28 mph, but it€™s difficult to drive when it is at full speed.

MeCannibal has a scary name, and a nasty weapon. It has a 30kg spinning ring which spins at 3000RPM, powered by two LEM-130 motors. This will be able to give out 195 kJ! However, it€™s just a bit hard to control.

OH!!!!!!!!! Those skirts rip away like paper! Now, Paul smiles devilishly and smacks into the other side of Manic Monsoon!

OH!!!!!!!!!!! The other skirt comes off! Now, Panic Attack comes in, catches Manic Monsoon by the rear end, lifts it, and drags it front first right into MeCannibal! Manic Monsoon raises the lifting arm by mistake!

OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lifting arm is BENT!!! No more weapon! MeCannibal now spins down, and crashes into the pit button. The pit yawns open and now MeCannibal starts spinning again! Manic Monsoon slams into Panic Attack, and pushes it towards the wall!
WHAM!
OH!! Nice attack there by Manic Monsoon! Now, MeCannibal spins up again and CRASHES into Manic Monsoon!

Ill start by spinning, and I reckon that if I hit the sides when spinning I can break the skirts and get in underneath , and from there its wall - flip - clap clap - cheer cheer - whistle whistle - lots of beer. :P
If that fails, PA has lots of clearance either side of the forks, so just get in there.
Ive reread the fight (I need to actually read fights more often :P) and I have to say it could use some more detail...actually, quite a bit more, rather than just sentences interspersed with exclamation marks.

Im...sorry, but I didnt like the way that fight was written.
I can tell Ill be yelled at, so Ill just shut up and keep the reasons to myself. :P
I think personally that Samuel in this is biased towards the spinners. Look at the semi-final line-up so far:
Leprosy Infection (A drum spinner)
Aftershock (A drum spinner)
Archangel Of The Abyss (A full-body spinner)
Pure Evil: ROTD (A full body spinner)
Tira III (A vertical disc)
Whirligig 4.0 (A full-body spinner)
Dennis The Menace (A drum spinner)
And I think that you believe that 52kj is enough to damage anything at all (You stated it in one of your designs) its not true - thats possibly why Nitro-Gene with a 5mm Hardox shell was ripped to micro pieces by Whirligig.
Im not going to post effective tactics for once - my plans just to rip the lifter off and shock-kill Exertion, as its probable that I WONT get through the armour.
Not to destroy my own victory, I think that last fight was biased to go AGAINST Manic Monsoon, and even though MeCannibal is lethal, it wouldnt tear 5mm Hardox that quickly - the skirts maybe. But for the while, Im not going to say much except look further than spinner effectiveness. Go on things like armour strengths, weapon designs, traction, power, shapes and other things.
If this sounds like a vicous attack, Im sorry - Im just trying to give advice.
lol, if hes biased towards spinners, then next series, Ill put in Tira IV, Aftershock, Kracko, The Curse for vapours, and Shrederator, Megabyte, Surgeon General, and Tornado Mer for realies. :proud:

Paul...attach small hole saws to the side of your wheels. Hole saws are rotary weapons...

Perfect! Its the classic ring-spinner meets spinner-killer here. Simple tactics are to be relentless - keep driving in and ramming MeCannibal over and over again. If I can pin it against the wall, my job will be made even easier. The more I ram, the less it can spin up and attack me and score any points. Shove it around into the hazards and preferably the pit. If MeCannibal does get up to full speed, I am willing to sacrifice my scoop. After a couple of hits, MeCannibal will suffer from the effects of its own overkill energy output.

OH! Nice hit there by Panic Attack! Now, Gabriel gets under Panic Attack and flips it! Panic Attack immediately rights itself, and attacks Gabriel! Gabriel gets lifted from the side and€¦

OH! Right into the wall it goes! Joey can€™t take it anymore, so he drives Gabriel€™s flipper straight into Panic Attack, and pushes it towards the wall! Now, it€™s time to say good-bye, Danny!

OH!! Nice hit there by Exertion again! MeCannibal escapes and begins to spin up again! Now, with all its might it CRASHES into Exertion!

There€™s another big scratch in the scoop, but no REAL damage is caused. AJ now drives Exertion scoop-first into the spinning ring of MeCannibal, which has already spun up!

OH!!!!! There is a huge gash in the scoop, and now, AJ can€™t take it anymore, and drives Exertion€™s scoop right into the spinning ring of MeCannibal, lifts it, and drags it towards the wall!
WHAM!
OH!!! There€™s another good attack by Exertion! This is a very even battle here so far, and now, Exertion crashes into MeCannibal again, and pushes it near the pit! MeCannibal tries to escape, and they do, luckily. But Exertion pushes MeCannibal ever so close to the pit again and€¦ BOOM! Down goes MeCannibal!
MeCannibal is not so scary now, is it? :wink:

Even though the hammers are 50kg each, that caused minimal damage to Exertion. Now, Gabriel just SLAMS into Exertion again, and€¦

OH!! That flip sent Exertion almost out of the arena! Now, Exertion comes back into play by pushing Gabriel towards the wall!

Matador VS Scarmanga VS WORCK: Scarmanga has near-to-no control factor, as it has the self-guidance which will hinder it. Matador is flippable and I will target it. Neither 9of these two worry me greatly, but Matador does, so go after him.

Megabyte VS Wheely Pure Evil 2 VS Intrigue: The E.O.T.R 4 Champ to advance easily, with Megabyte following, due to WPEs ABC armourment.
Of course the benefit of a guidance system is of course that while on the one hand it may be less creative with its movements, on the other it means it has far faster reaction speeds and can make more precise movements. Especially when you cant see through the smoke...

Megabyte wont have such a nice time hitting me anyway due to my sloped/curved sides and wedged front/rear, so treat it like the most dangerous hazard in the arena. :proud: Wheely Pure Evil doesnt seem to have a wide area to use its weapon so it doesnt worry me much. Grapple Mr. Evil and shove him into Megabyte. If I smack a wheel, then w00t. :proud:
As for the other fight, I think Scaramanga will crash out.

After talking to Kody on MSN, we have decided to gang up against Megabyte. Its self righting is not the most reliable, so Intrigue will go in and box rush it, stallign the weapon enough for me to come in and flip it around, hopefully OOTA. If it falls in the arena, Intrigue will carry on pushing it around, axeing the underbelly of the FBS whilst I open the pit release. Megabyte. Pit. Smoke. Done. :proud:

Scarmanga has a brilliant flipper, and a nasty attitude. It€™s got a smokescreen thingy to distract other robots, as well. However, it€™s got limited CO2.

What€™s this? ANOTHER flipper?! YES! Paul Cuomo has built a wonderful machine, and it€™s got a forward-hinged flipper running on a single 750PSI ram running on CO2. It€™s a bit slow, however.
