Well, my tactics will probably be simple for this one. As others have suggested, his tracks make extremely good targets for my powerful spinning ring so I would like to try and swerve around his front and give a couple of blows to them :D

now though, Im not so sure... guess BIACS-LE will go all the way this heat, and it deserves to!

I guess, as a change of plans, to go for his front but to swerve off to the side so that his flipper doesnt get under me but I do get to slam him which would most likely fling him away (or at the very least, spin him around) giving me a clear shot at his back/sides

EtMT charges off towards the blue spinner but his plan goes astray when he finds FBSDS already up to speed! He hastily backs away but FBSDS keeps the distance the same by advancing on his prey! But the predator is no longer on the offensive, as EtMT suddenly flies at him!
CRASH!
EtMT jolts backwards, performing a little jump as it does so but FBSDS performs the greater act by flying across the arena in the opposite direction! EtMT seems a little stunned by that blow however, and isnt able to take advantage of FBSDS flight, and only moves a second quicker than FBSDS, who is able to get away and spin up again. EtMT warily approaches, luckily not taking any damage from the last blow but here comes FBSDS to try to cause some! EtMT just travels right into him.
CRASH!
Its EtMT who is flung away this time, sent spinning across the arena, and FBSDS is still flung back a bit but not as far. There is now some visible damage on EtMTs right side at the front, a light gouge but nothing more. EtMT comes after the tricky spinner but FBSDS just dodges the charge again, but EtMT turns and smacks into him for the third time!
CRASH!
Its a noticeable hit thanks to some sparks, but FBSDS is the worse off now, flung against the wall in front of EtMT, who pounces upon the opportunity, geting under FBSDS and FLIP! EtMT racks up another OOTA as FBSDS lands upside-down on the camera track, tries to right and hits the wall. :proud:

The seed may track through (:rofl:), but Matts robot is very damaging, and I seem to remember reading that it did quite a lot of damage to Wedge Devolution, a machine with thicker armour than the Tracks.
My prediction is for BIACS-LE to enter for the semis and for Enter The May Tracks to enter the scrapyard
That said, FBSDS would have been a heavier hitter than BIACS-LE, and I got through that OK.
Basically, Ill have to use similar tactics. Push it around, feed it to house robots and try to get it down the pit or OOTA. Keep flipping him, if hes in the air, hes not attacking.
Keep the front facign as much as possible, make sure the disc spins up, hit, hit hit, hit, hit. If we get them once get them again and again. Dont leave them alone, pester them, try and turn them over and expose the tracks.
Well, were now a quarter of the way to the semis! Lets finish this heat!

BIACS-LE reverses from his spot and goes right for the pit release button. Enter the May Tracks goes right after him, and being the quicker of the two machines by 9mph reaches him within a few seconds, to find that the pit has already been opened! And worse, BIACS-LE turned right into EtMTs side!
CRASH!!
Great sparks, and a long scratch on the side is the damage, but the effect is greater: EtMT goes spinning into the air and lands on his back. BIACS-LE without regards to the disc tackles EtMT to prevent him from righting off the wall, and spins up the disc again. EtMT activates his flipper and slams himself into the arena wall with such force that he actually bounces back a little, but his wedge is still stuck on the wall, and too late to avoid an incoming disc attack on the rear!
CRASH!
More sparks and EtMT is jolted sideways as well as upwards, falling again onto his back but not in a difficult position to right himself at all. FLIP! EtMT is righted, and turns around to attack the pesky axlebot. BIACS-LE spins around and EtMT hits his left side. He tries to get the disc around but EtMT is too quick, and FLIP! BIACS-LE flies through the air, disc over chassis, and craters into one of the arena saws. BZZT! Sparks galore. :proud: EtMT hurries forward to take advantage of this situation but BIACS-LE reverses away and nicks EtMTs flipper in the process. Not a big crash, but it turns EtMT aside, and allows him to target greater damage potential: the already scarred rear!
CRASH!
EtMT is jolted again, the rear scratched up some more and looking seriously dented, but he shows no sign of power loss and to prove said point shoves his rear right back into BIACS-LE, into the currently immobile disc. BIACS-LE spins around to try and possibly thwack EtMTs side with it but EtMT nails him in the side and slams him into the wall backwards. BIACS-LE struggles to get off the wall, and does so when EtMT desperately tries to turn and flip. Frank looks annoyed by the way this battle is going and decides to turn it up a notch by having EtMT charge straight BIACS-LE. Disc at full speed, BIACS-LE welcomes the charge with open arms.
CRASH!!!
Can you say critical damage?! I can, and its just been done to EtMT, as the flipper panel is now completely gone, and the pneumatic ram is bent! EtMT wont be able to use his weapon and I wonder how thats going to affect his chances? However seems to dimiss the fact that he is now weaponless and rams BIACS-LE before the disc can spin up. BIACS-LEs wheels grind, but the only way hes going is straight into DBMS CPZ!

The fibreglass is shattered again - OHO! DBM has just sent himself onto his head! Dear sir, you have most ignobly pulled a Son of Whyachi on us. :proud: BIACS-LEs shell, however, is looking worse than our house bot, great chunks completely gone, so the hit was not in vain. And now EtMT is shoving him again, but with less menace than before. Apparently those hits have taken their toll on the electronics...a little. The arena saws pop again and BZZT! BIACS-LE is popped up into the air, and EtMT crashes right into the saws. BZZT! BIACS-LE lands right in front of EtMT again, but somethings wrong...something is very wrong. EtMT isnt moving, at all. BIACS-LE goes forward to bury the disc in.
CRASH!!
The pneumatics are blown apart as the ram is seperated, flung into the air by the mighty pull of BIACS-LEs disc. And still EtMT isnt going anywhere. The Watcher seems to think that his time up, and moves forward to confirm it!

Its all over for BIACS-LE, but Exa-Gore-Ic is rather busy, trying to right DBM off his head, and finally succeeds, bringing the whopper of a spinner down onto his wheels, but BIACS-LE attacks EtMT again.
CRASH!!!
EtMT is smashed skyward, landing on his side and tilting onto his back, unable to fight anymore. Exa-Gore-Ics attention is turned to the fallen seed and he tackles EtMT with the claws, grappling him and sinking the claws into the hardox. BIACS-LE does not sit around to be prey for DBM, but instead travels over the pit and waits. Exa-Gore-Ic drags EtMT over to the floor flipper, ah...3...2...1...FLIP! EtMT soars through the air, and comes down like a falling meteor, crashing into the floor and dead, still, on its back. DBM gets to him first.
CRASH!!!
A terrible gouge down the side of EtMT is made as he is sent flailing about, coming to rest near the flame pit. Exa-Gore-Ic is no longer amused with this pile of scrap and does what any good gentlemen does with his scraps: tosses him in the bin. :proud:

Okay, Fragmentor is pretty manuverable, and the weapon is a killer, Flick of the Wrist has pretty thin armour, with a lot of edges for my spinner to catch and tear off panels with. FOTW will be my main target. But, if interfered by Killotine, Ill make a special delivery and tear the axe off, ALA Mauler VS Killerhurtz... :proud:

Killotine: EVO (9) is a bad lad of a bot. Youll be seeing red when this guys axe comes down upon you and combined with its LEM130 drive he is a powerhouse to deal with. This compact box shape has a titanium skirt on its front wedge to deal with other wedges, and has 3.25 hardox armour to deal with those nasty spinners, not to mention 15mm for those nasty axes. And hes not satisfied with just cloud 9, I can tell you. :wink:
C&BT1: Upset Acid Burn with a thwack to the centre in Round 1, even more surprisingly took out Storm II rather quickly in Round 2, before losing to Salamander III in a Heat Final judges decision.
Flick of the Wrist is certainly pretty flicky, with his 22mph top speed, 6WD, and B42-500 Mags. His electric lifting spikes are diamond-tipped, which means you will be gored if you dont run away quickly. Hes also invertible, so flipping him wont really work. However, he has vulnerable sides, especially with average 7mm titanium armour.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Fragmentor is what our fourth seed Aneurysm was based on. :proud: Hes got LEM drive, 4mm hardox 400 (and 8mm titanium top/bottom) armour, and is quite compact. But what makes this bot so deadly is its 4500rpm flywheel, producing 80kJs of energy, enough to shred titanium and obliterate aluminum. It is unstable when the flywheel strikes an opponent however, and it wasnt made to be pushy.

All the bots are immediately off at the call of ACTIVATE, and its the seed who is straight off towards Fragmentor!
CRASH!
A mighty hit but the flywheel wasnt up to full speed at that time and so minimal damage is caused, and now Killotine brings down his axe on the top chassis of Fragmentor, and the damage is not minimal! Already there is a great hole in the 8mm titanium of Fragmentors top armour, and now Flick of the Wrist crashes in - WHAM! Fragmentor is tackled aside by the forks! Killotine heads in the direction of the pit release button as Flick of the Wrist runs into Fragmentors side again and pushes him into the wall, right next to Obelixs CPZ! Obelix is hungry and answers the invitation with a hammer to the top but it misses. Fragmentor now gets away, Flick is after him immediately though, and now Killotine is joining the chase! Fragmentor turns around and that flywheel is finally up to speed! Flick changes course slightly and zooms right by Fragmentor, causing the spinner to turn and come at him but Killotine has brilliantly taken advantage of this tactic and tackled Fragmentor from the side! Down comes the axe! The top armour of Fragmentor has been given another gaping chasm! Killotine pushes Fragmentor across the arena, right into an empty CPZ, stacking him up against the wall and slamming the axe down again for good measure! BZZT! Ooh, Flick took a nasty hit from the saws there and sparks litter the floor. Tira screams into the CPZ and nails Fragmentor - RIGHT IN THE DISC!

OOOOOOHHHHHH! Goodness me, poor old Tira has been crumpled! The inertia stopped, bent, and broken apart in many pieces, but that has also caused Fragmentors blade to malfunction as well! Killotine moves in again and shoves Fragmentor into the wall again, and the axe goes to play again! Tira isnt moving at all, I think that last hit immobilized her, and now Flick is going to make her suffer, lifting her upwards with the forks and up, up...and down! Tira on her back, srimech immobilized as well, and Obelix is not amused by this, no sir! Flick turns too late and is tackled by the 225kg house robot in the side, and slammed against the arena wall! Fragmentor meanwhile is trapped, with no way out, and a very crumpled top armour plate as the axe of Killotine racks up points by the second! The Watcher approaches Tira and shoves her towards another empty CPZ - oh dear, the saws get in the way! Things just arent going her way, are they? Fragmentor is in worse straits, I do think, and now Flick has joined the action and tackled Fragmentors rear, but that looses him from the wall! But that doesnt seem to matter because the housing of Fragmentor seems to be devoid of life! The wheels are not turning, the flywheel is not spinning, and I really believe that he is dead! The Watcher leaves Tira alone and moves over to Fragmentor but Killotine smacks Fragmentor again with the axe and drags him away - there we are, Fragmentor is not dead after all, yet moving very slowly, struggling against the pull of the axe, and the wheels are indeed working, but the disc is immobilized, Im not sure how they can win this one now. Flick in again, and WHAM! Fragmentor released from Killotines axe is piled along the wall and slammed into the CPZ near the pit! Its hard to tell if Fragmentor is still moving, and Obelix comes in to destroy any hopes of Fragmentor advancing through to the second round. WHAM! The hammer falls on Fragmentor, and they are definitely not moving now! Killotine is not going to let Obelix have the fun all to himself and rams Fragmentor from the rear, and Flick is also in there! The Watcher is finally over to the CPZ and starts counting Fragmentor out despite all the blows being given.

Fragmentor is out, and Flick reaches the rear of Fragmentor and raises the forks: up goes Fragmentor, and Flick tackles the wall, but this causes Fragmentor to fall on top of him and slightly off the rear end. Flick begins to push him backwards, and down goes Fragmentor, right down, down, DOWN...into the pit.

Axe-O-Lotl vs. Bloody Tears 2 vs. In-terror-fied
Axe-O-Lotl is a reptile beast of a competitor. It is the same power as Storm 2 (can go at 20mph), and a diamond-tipped axe with strikes down with force like Dominator II. Its shaped like Comengetorix and can right itself with ease, but its 5mm aluminum arour is very poor indeed, even with the 3mm titanium top plating.
C&BT1: Beat Sewer Snake in a judges decision but then fell to the #2 seed Clawdius Decimus Murderous in the 2nd round of Heat D.
Bloody Tears 2 has been improved since last series, its weapons now comprised of a punching scoop and a less-than-powerful rear flipper all powered by pneumatics. It still has its 10mm hardox armour with an added 5mm aluminum casing and shock absorbs to absorb hits from spinners. Four cobalt astroflights power Anthony Politzis monster and it can get up to 25mph.
C&BT1: Lost to 4th seed Aneurysm in Round 1 of Heat E.
In-terror-fied will leave you trembling with its hydraulic clamping jaws with 7 tonnes of force and its rear, er, crossbow. Its also very tough with 4mm fibreglass armour over its base 3mm Grade 5 titanium, and try getting under the front and sides. Its powered by PERM motors and an invertible castor at the front helps this 2WD robot move around. Its fast at 18.6mph but has poor traction.

All three machines are off and the match is begun. BT2 is away and coming at Axe-O-Lotl, who meets the charge head-on, and they crash head-on, but its BT2s ground clearance that prevails and Axe-O-Lotl is pushed into the air and along the floor until (WHAM!) meeting the wall with a rather loud noise. ITF has hit the pit release already and the loud siren we are all familiar with by now signals the descent of the pit. Axe-O-Lotl brings down the axe and smashes the top of BT2 but no damage! That thing must be made out of bombshells! ITF is now joining the party and rams Axe-O-Lotl from the side but this dislodges him from the wall and now hes...just hit the wall again. :proud: But now hes away, reversing into the middle of the arena and ramming into ITF who has just caught up with him. The wedge gets underneath ITF and throws him onto it, and ITF is piled against the wall, unable to grab anything but air, and the axe of Axe-O-Lotl comes down on him! The Fibreglass shell is penetrated but the titanium underneath has withstood the blow, and now BT2 takes a stand and rears into Axe-O-Lotl, trying to toss him over but no good! Axe-O-Lotl either doesnt seem to notice it or is ignoring the flick and is concentrating on defeating ITF, whose top armour takes another blow, fibreglass holed up. BT2, it looks like, does NOT like to be ignored and turning right around literally plows into him forcing the rear up into the air. ITF cant seem to get off the wedge and the jaws open and close helplessly as Axe-O-Lotl lands another axe blow and the fibreglass isnt looking good at all, great pieces are gone, and that will give Axe-O-Lotl good damage points if this goes to the judges. BT2 pushes forward again but cant seem to tilt Axe-O-Lotl up any further and backs away to release him and try again. NOW Axe-O-Lotl turns around and comes down on him, but BT2 again penetrates the wedge and shoves him right back into ITF! ITF...doesnt seem to be moving...thats not good. The Watcher is coming over to have a look. BT2 suddenly spins clockwise and back again, and that allows him to get to Axe-O-Lotls side. The Watcher moves in and shunts them, freeing Axe-O-Lotl at last, who jets away and rams BT2 but misses. BT2 comes at the side of Axe-O-Lotl but also misses. Axe-O-Lotl rears into BT2s side and tries to push him, and slowly but surely does so, but BT2s powerful drive forces Axe-O-Lotl to push him diagonally and he escapes. Ooh, heres DBM closing in on the obviously immobile ITF, and The Watcher makes it more obvious by starting that countdown!

DBM hammers ITFs side armour just as the 10 flashes on The Watchers clock, and the damage is absolutely morbid! Both sets of armours have been completely stripped away not to mention leaving the front armour ripped open by a considerable amount! Taki moves in now and pushes him onto...the arena saws. BZZT! No sparks but some air as ITF is carried up a little. Oh...I think well put you on the floor flipper now, and after Taki does so...3...2...1...FLIP! ITF soars, lands, and prays for a quick ending. Just as Taki is about to finish him in the pit, Axe-O-Lotl strolls through and slamming into ITF stacks him against the wall a second later. BT2 arrives and shunts into Axe-O-Lotls side, stacking him against the wall beside ITF. Taki rams ITF once more and I think were done here

Killotine: EVO (9) vs. Bloody Tears 2 - Im going to predict a shock happening, and Antony beating Steve on a JD based on aggression and style.
Axe-O-Lotl vs. Flick of the Wrist - Ive fought Flick before (and I still havent forgotten Martijn :angry::mrgreen:) and I know that it is fast, but it has 6 nice exposed wheels. If Axe-O-Lotl gets around the sides and punctures a tyre, hell win, but Im routing for Mr Benschop (is that how you spell it, :-))
For the heat, the win is going to go to Flick Of The Wrist, but if Killotine wins against Bloody Tears, then Steve will take the heat.

1) Bloody Tears 2 VS KILLOTINE: EVO
Slippy little gits, these omnibots. Release the Pit straight from the off. I should have the advantage of control here, so the plan is to slip under the sides, get a good grip with the axe and rush it to the Pit before it can wriggle away.
2) Axe-o-lotl VS Flick of the Wrist
Another close encounter. If Flick of the Wrist can get underneath, however, I think Chris is taking a trip to Pits-burgh.
I see a side-armour of 5 mm of aluminium, so my aimll be to puncture that. Try to build up my speed and ram my spikes straight through either its back or his sides, and take him all the way to the wall where the armour might really suffer from being crushed by the wall on one side and myself on the other side.
When for some reason I get faced by its front (which is not favourable but very well possible), I realize my spikesll be less effective against his Comengetorix-front so Ill lower them to get underneath that 2 mm of Ground Clearance and lift that axebot, which will make it hard for him to get his axe in.
Of course, the pit is a great place to draw all of this to a conclusion

Both competitors come to blows in the middle of the arena. Killotine is already immediately under the scoop of BT2 and rams it into the wall! The axe fires and hammers down on the top armour of BT2 but is repelled! BT2 tries to get away but cant as the wedge of the 9th seed succeeds in holding him against the arena wall. Again the axe fires, but still no sign of damage! BT2s scoop pushes against the wedge but it is no use! The Watcher finally barges in to break up the gathering but Killotine fires the axe again and tries to grasp BT2! It doesnt work, to be frank, so they are broken apart and BT2 is given time to regroup. Only for a second though, as Killotine strikes him from the side and pushes him into Asterixs CPZ! THWACK goes the axe and still it cant inflict any damage! Asterix piles himself into BT2 as well, and Ancalagon leaves his CPZ to join in on the fun. Its not so fun for BT2 right now as he is completely trapped by both Killotine and Asterix, though thankfully the repeated axe blows from Killotine are hardly causing any exterior damage. They are, however, racking up points for Killotine each time, and that will be good for him if it goes to the judges! Killotine releases BT2 but that allows Asterix to box Tonys bot in the CPZ and now Ancalagon is in the house! BT2 is tipped onto his side and against the arena wall! The flipper activates but only jiggles BT2 around a little. He can only watch as the jaws on Ancalagon reach him, dig into his front end...and apparently, are unable to crush him. Killotine races across the arena and opens the pit quickly, having tried to do so in the beginning but blocked by BT2 now doing so and waits nearby as Ancalagon sends a lick of flame from its jaws, torching BT2, and carries him over to the arena saws...BZZT! Its a cascade of sparks, but even the arena saws fail to penetrate that 10mm hardox armour and Ancalagon releases him, finally. BT2...seems to be okay, its not lost any momentum at all so far! Killotine is watching from beside the pit and now impatient scoots out towards the seemingly impervious BT2, slamming against him, again sliding under the rather bent scoop - I wonder, whats happened to the scoop? It is the only part of the entire robot...that has sustained damage - OOH! What a hit! Wham, slam, thank you mam, as BT2 is rammed against the wall for the umpteenth time and sent flying! Killotine makes a beeline for him whiles hes vulnerable, and BT2 activates again but too late as the wedge of Killotine slams into him again! WHAM! Into the wall! And now hes stuck on the wedge, down comes the axe, but the axe simply cannot damage that extremely powerful armour. It CAN, however, grapple BT2 together with the wedge! And now hes grabbed, now Killotine can drag him where he wants - NO! BT2 has escaped! Away between the axe and wedge, and collides right with the spinner button, activating the spinner. Steve is shocked by this getaway but shakes it off and steers Killotine in BT2s direction. BT2 turns around to try and use the flipper this time but, ah, I dont think so. The wedge skirt gets under the flipper and the axe fires again! Finally! There is a small dent, very small indeed but noticeable, in the armour of BT2, and Killotine has got him again! He drives backwards towards the pit - ooh, not too close, or youll fall in yourself! Whats this? BT2 is struggling, grinding his tries to the ground, and actually turning Killotine on the spot, trying to tug away from the pull of that mighty axe - and does so! Hes away again! This is very good stuff from Team Hitmen! A very durable robot and quite slippery indeed! Steve apparently is of like mind, though cursing under his breath, and Killotine makes another charge at BT2 only to find that hes now at Killotines side but the side skirt foils him. He tries to push Killotine away but Killotine drives away - ooh, big mistake, BT2 is right on his tail and is now under the rear with the scoop! Killotine is caught! This will be a major upset if BT2 wins now! BT2 guns the motors and rams him straight into the wall near Ancalagons CPZ, which is now occupied by its owner! Killotine flies, and deep into the CPZ, as Ancalagon turns around and inserts the jaws! The axe fires, but its no good as the armour of our mighty house robot knows no damage from axes, no sir! The jaws crunch, and Killotine starts to hammer him repeatedly, causing the house robot to blast some flames through the jaws right at him! This battle has turned, right around! Asterix leaves his own CPZ and flies right into the trapped Killotine! WHAM! Asterix is also foiled by the skirt but the sharp edge of his wedge catches the side. I wonder if any damage was caused...

AXE-O-LOTLS TACTICS
If Flickys going lifting forks on me, he shouldnt be able to damage me, and the only thing I have to worry about is if he gets COMPLETELY underneath me, in which he could do a piggyback ala Panic Attack. Aside from that, I should have the advantage on the damage points, so hit and retreat. If he goes for the forks upright (so the stabbing technique), I might have a bit of problems, but I believe I can drive him around if he does that.

Axe-O-Lotl zooms in on Flick of the Wrist who meets the charge with a colossal slam! The forks however are lowered so this means Axe-O-Lotl goes flying overtop of Flick and lands right behind him! Flick rears into him to avoid Axe-O-Lotl turning around and shoves him into the wall, and then drives off. Axe-O-Lotl turns around just as Flick does the same and barrels into Flick, but since Flicks forks are lower Axe-O-Lotl again ends up driving onto them. However the axe comes down, AND PUNCTURES ONE OF FLICKS TIRES!!! Look at this! Axe-O-Lotl flung up onto the forks but a slight tilt and axe finds just the right position to slam down on Flicks rear left wheel, and is stuck! This will have major problems on Flicks traction on the arena floor, even if it is one of six tires he lost! Axe-O-Lotl is finally able to dislodge himself from Flick, who crashes back into him rather sluggishly and stacks him into the wall. Axe-O-Lotl brings down the axe again but misses, throwing his rear end into the air a bit, and that releases him from Flicks hold. Martijn turns his machine around and directs it at Chris fleeing bot, whom has just opened the pit. Flick charges after him but the charge isnt a straight path anymore and he is forced to stop to line-up Axe-O-Lotl again, allowing the latter to get to his side! Flick reverses away but Axe-O-Lotl rams him from the front and throws down the axe, and makes a nice hole in the armour of Flick! Flick gets under Axe-O-Lotl again and slams him into the wall, but with much less gusto and Im seeing a real lack of power now from Flick of the Wrist...however, this slam has upended Axe-O-Lotl, and Flick comes in to prevent the righting. He gets halfway there and actually Axe-O-Lotl rights himself on top of Flick, landing right behind him! Down comes the axe again and another hole is carved! Flick pushes backwards but Axe-O-Lotl retracts the axe and Flick goes flying onto the wedge! THWACK! Its not a hit to a tire but the wheel housing instead! This is critical! Axe-O-Lotl has grasped Flick of the Wrist but can he grasp victory? No, he stacks Flick up against the wall and retracts the axe, and brings it down ON FLICKS MIDDLE LEFT TIRE! It has indeed been punctured and now the Dutch robot is in major peril here! Axe-O-Lotl again throws an axe punch down on the same tire! The rubber is torn, and looks to be coming off! Axe-O-Lotl now with the axe plunged into the wheel drags him away from the side wall and right towards the pit of oblivion! Flick tries to fight it but its no use, and Axe-O-Lotl pushes him...over the pit? Flicks wheel is still - AHAHAHAHA!!! Flick fell into the pit, but took Axe-O-Lotl with him! And finally the axe head is seperated from Flicks tire, but its too little, too late. What an upset!

Killotine: EVO got through with Flick of the Wrist after Tira-san took out Fragmentors weapon in a double kill. He then won a judges decision over the tough nut of a bot, Bloody Tears 2.
Axe-O-Lotl hammered In-terror-fied into a pancake flat enough to serve him with eggs in the nearest universitys cafeteria breakfast menu, and then plunged into the pit thrusting Flick of the Wrist in first.

In the arena for the house robots are Obelix Bulguous and his deadly hammer, and Double Big Mac, the big twisty king with his spinning hammers. Makes you kinda feel bad your hammer doesnt spin, eh Obelix? :proud:

Killotine is away to the races and collides with an incoming Axe-O-Lotl! WHAM! Both axes swing almost simultaneously, but its Axe-O-Lotls who connects! The armour of Killotine however withstands the blow and Killotine responds by getting under Axe-O-Lotls front wedge and hammering him into the wall, lifting him up into the air and allowing Killy to hack the underbelly! Unfortunately since Axe-O-Lotl is so close to Killys axe it doesnt do much damage, but it DOES prevent Axe-O-Lotl from flying overtop of Killotine and he lands right back on top of him! Killotine fires his axe again but the axe-shaft is halted by Axe-O-Lotls own wedge and the former swings down his axe and another blow is done to Killotines armour! This time there is a dent made but nothing more. Killotine knows that this is no place to be and reverses away, but Axe-O-Lotl is only given two more seconds of breathing room before the red Scottish terror is back for more, and the axe of Killotine slams down into Chris bots armour! The 5mm aluminum is not strong enough to withstand it and a huge hole is made where the axe hits! Axe-O-Lotls own axe descends and smacks Killotine again but its only a minimal dent. Killotine retracts and fires again, and another hole is made! Axe-O-Lotl cant stay in this position forever but he cant get away without leaving himself in a disadvantageous situation and Killotine sensing this drives forward, wedging underneath Axe-O-Lotl and careening off the wall at a sharp angle, and carries Axe-O-Lotl right into DBMs CPZ!

OOOOHHHHH! The carnage! Axe-O-Lotls entire back panel has been blown right off by the mighty hammer blow, although Axe-O-Lotl hasnt hardly at all from this hit, and Killotine noticing pushes Axe-O-Lotl further into the CPZ, in turn shoving DBM against the wall. Obelix hurries forward to aid his comrade but far too late, as Killotine backs away to let Obelix take over. Obelix would have, if Axe-O-Lotl wasnt escaping like he is now! His movement, however, seems to be quite sluggish, thanks to that hit by DBM. Good strategy on Killotines part. Killotine himself is now ramming Axe-O-Lotl back into the CPZ, and into the waiting wedge of Obelix! Axe-O-Lotl however fires the axe, and finally makes a hole in Killotines 15mm polycarbonate top armour! Not only that, but it seems to be stuck! Killotine appears to be okay and Obelix now brings down HIS hammer! BAM! The top armour is bashed inwards caving in at the back, but thankfully it releases Axe-O-Lotls axe from Killotines own armour and he comes crashing down...to meet another axe blow from Killotine! WHACK! Another sizeable hole in the obviously bruised top 5mm aluminum of Axe-O-Lotl, and Obelix now shoves both of them away, and Axe-O-Lotl spins away to escape, however his pace has slowed quite greatly! Killotine takes advantage of this and quickly getting to Axe-O-Lotls side gets under it and rams him into the angle grinder! WHAM! Axe-O-Lotl bounces away, and...no, hes still moving, but even the angle grinder has been a little damage, as there is a small gash in Axe-O-Lotls left side! Killotine spins around and easily rushes the shaken-up Axe-O-Lotl, but proceeds to axe the crap out of him! Another hole in the armour! And another! And another! Axe-O-Lotl however refuses to die, and is able to turn and face Killotine, and thwacks his axe down on Killotine again, achieving another dent. Killotine isnt too happy having even a little damage done to him and quickly rams Axe-O-Lotl into an empty CPZ! Obelix again comes over to deal with them. He tackled Killotine but edges off the side and instead smacks Axe-O-Lotl and brings down teh (not misspelled) hammer...onto the arena wall! :proud: Killotine backs away and allows Obelix to get in again, and Obelix again positions himself right...BAM!!! The armour is busted up almost completely, and no life can be seen now in Axe-O-Lotl, but time is winding down and so are Killotines chances for another KO!

Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69 - Im actually going for Wedga to go out - if it goes for Star 69 hell be knocked away, Cacodemon is too low and might shove it into the pit. If not, then it will be Cacodemon to go out.
Tengu VII vs. IDSFA vs. Storm II - Storm II does have the weakest armour on the sides, but at the front, it is also the thinnest. However, as I have noticed before, the 50kj spinner of Typhoon didnt knock it off, it was the 90kj dic of Matilda.
IDSFA is going to go out, as it wont get under Storm 2 easily, it will have its thinner front flipper plate broken but Tengu. To put it simply, Frank is going.
For the heat, I predict in this order of proberbility, Tengu VII, Storm 2 and Wedga Revo/Star 69

Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) comes back from his tournament victory in the Fowler Fic War 3.1 to do some damage! Hes got a powerful flipping arm with a scoop on the end, and with 540kgs of force should launch bots into hyperspace. :proud: G5 Titanium armour wraps around this slightly Steg 2-shaped design, and LEM130 drive gives a great push against other vapourbots.
C&BT1: Defeated Slaying Mantis F in a judges decision, and amazingly took out Mass Disctruction Ultimate 3 before getting himself ejected from the warzone in the Heat C Final by 3rd seed Orka MK4.
Cacodemon is a demonic brute with four Dustin motors (giving it a top speed of 20mph) and titanium armour (8mm for the wedges/skirts, 6mm for the main body). It doesnt really have any weapons, but on its front wedge are several claws to hold opponents on the wedge and not allow to simply fly over it. Hes not so tough if flipped, though. :wink:

Star 69 looks bright and ready. It also has LEM drive, and 4mm G5 titanium armour. It is also invertible with 6WD! Add to this that youve got an outer spinning ring with three rows of blades to slice n dice and this star-shaped bot will probably coming calling at your door...with a can of whoop-ass, that is. :proud:

Heat F kicks off with Wedga converging upon Cacodemon. Star 69 has begun to get his weapon up to speed, and drives right off towards Wedga! Wedga tackles Cacodemons front but the ground clearance eludes him and he drives right up onto the wedge! The claws halt further approach however, and Wedga prepares to drive off of him in reverse, when a spinning weapon belonging to Star 69 smacks into his side!
CRASH!!!
Oh man! That had to hurt! Both bots are flung away by that ominous blow, Wedga sustaining a great gouge in the 5mm titanium side, and already it seems to have done something to the mechanics! He seems to be only driving around in a circle! Cacodemon drives forward, not at full speed however due to the low ground clearance and tackles Wedga into the wall. Wedga tries to push back but that loss of power on the left side has left him crippled and Cacodemon can ram to his hearts delight! Star 69 however has other plans. Spinning down his weapon he hits the pit release button, opening our beloved pit. :proud: Now hes back up to speed and charges at Wedga. Cacodemon getting the message turns away and backs towards the arena saws as Star 69 collides with Wedgas front end!

Ooh, the scoop took phenomenal damage, but is hanging by a few bits and pieces! But Star 69 did not come off too good there either! Wedga had activated the flipper at that hit, and Star 69 got sent flying! Now however hes back in action but Cacodemon snags the spotlight by getting Wedgas exposed left side and pushing him into Taki-sans CPZ! Taki turns to expose the flywheel...not as big of a crash so its not really noteworthy, but it does give Wedga a small rip in the right side now. Star 69 ruthlessly takes charge now and again rips into the 11th seed!

Wedga is dislodged from Taki and Cacodemon and is smacked against the CPZ wall! Theres no movement left in the seed...can he possibly be out, the champion of FFW3.1, in the first round of the C&BT2?! It seems the The Watcher thinks so, and seperating Taki and Cacodemon shunts into the immobilized Wedga and begins the countdown -

OOH! Star 69 came in without warning and tackled the ref, and with that blow stuck him against the wall at an odd angle! Taki seems to be enjoying this and with a playful nudge to the rear, The Watcher keels over and falls on his face! Oh, RED CARD! Send him off! Er...send them off, actually, but its Cacodemon who backs into The Watcher and slowly but surely, reaches the pit and BOOM! down goes the exceptionally peeved referee! :proud: Wedga may be out, but Andy is chuckling at the sight of The Watcher getting humiliated. Galliant contender!

Tengu VII is quite possibly the most successful vapourbot to date. Needs little to no introduction: you all know all about the spinning ring and blades, anti-spinning ring, skirting, and self-righting arm. You might also notice that it has poor traction. Just dont let her get up to speed. :proud:
C&BT1: Was in Heat G, and it smashed Whirligig 4.0 apart before having her wheels taken off by Tempest Evil-er-oution in the second round.
IDSFA aint no son of mine. :proud: He looks like Raging Knightmare but thats about it. The flipper he is at front is front-hinged and can flip opponents his own weight, and he has a rear disc dishing out 10kJ per hit. It has LEM drive giving it a top speed of 20mph and good pushing power but its armour isnt the best.
C&BT1: Made short work of The Great Cornholio, but then current champion Salamander III made short work of IDSFA in Heat H.
Storm II is arguably the most powerful robot in our current day. Hes got 6WD LEM drive allowing excellent power and speed, 6mm-12mm titanium armour over a steel chassis, and a lifting arm that can toss over its own weight. Its also invertible, therefore exposing its wheels to crushers and axes; however there are none in this fight...
C&BT1: Outclassed Mega Masher in Heat Hs first round but then Killotine: EVO took it to the pit right after.

So the plan for IDSFA...is to attack Storm II, and push it into Tengu VII. That might not work however because Storm is coming right at him! Tengu spins herself up and heads towards both other bots, but Storm is able to get under IDSFAs flipper and smashes it straight into the wall! WHAM! IDSFA gets some air and is bounced away off the wall but he doesnt get a chance to breathe because Storm is back at him, and slips under those side skirts, and up comes the arm, raising IDSFA by the wedge as he is rammed against the wall again! WHAM! He bounces again and faces away from the wall, and slides towards Storms side, and penetrates it! Storm tries to back off but FLIP! Now we have an inverted Storm! Tengu cant catch these fast machines and decides to wait in the center of the arena. Storm gets out of the way as IDSFA flies at him, now on the aggressive. The arm pops up from under Storm and he halts, trying to self-right, only to have IDSFA crash into him a second later and pile him into the wall! WHAM! He goes for the OOTA but no! Storm is merely stuck against it! Tengu seeing this opportunity decides to trek over there but IDSFA gets the hell out of the way and Storm falls on its back again. Hes not thinking of righting himself yet and jets away before Tengu can get closer, leaving the fully-spinning FBS in frustration. IDSFA is chasing after the inverted Storm who attempts to fly over the arena saws hoping they will right him...but they dont pop up. :proud: Storm goes to lift himself up off the floor again and IDSFA rushes at him...only to himself get caught by the arena saws and goes flying to the left of the now reinverted Storm II! Storm turns and barrels into IDSFAs side, but this time is unable to penetrate the skirt. Tengu is approaching again, and IDSFA tries to reverse away but Storm pushing into the side of IDSFA rolls him around in an arc...straight into Tengu! ...and there is no big crash, however, because IDSFAs disc hit the anti-spinning ring first, causing no damage to Tengu whatsoever! Tengu herself bores forward and actually nicks IDSFAs rear corner, causing some sparks and actually severely denting it! IDSFA has actually not moved from that collision thanks to Storm, but that hit causes Storm to finally get under IDSFA and WHAM! Right into the wall once more! IDSFA slides off of Storm and jets away to open the pit, only to find Tengu blocking him! He reverses away narrowly avoiding a charge from Storm, and a little maneouvering finds him at Storms side! The wedge penetrates the skirt! Tengu comes forth again and IDSFA shoves Storm onto his wedge and drives, right into Tengu!

It was what Frank was hoping for; Storm is mashed by the blow and sent spinning across the arena, removed from his skirt! And now Tengu has slowed down! IDSFA seizes his chance and barrels into Tengu but is unable to get under Tengus skirting, and more importantly unable to stop Tengu from achieving her deadly speeds! Tengu however isnt the pushiest bot by a long shot and IDSFA knowing this decides to take Tengu to a CPZ - Whamlets, in fact! The house bot rushes out before they reach the CPZ!

Tengu is seperated from IDSFA, having grievously gashed Whamlets front end but Whamlet does not appreciate that at all! WHAM! Tengu is rammed and the axe arms close around her before she can spin up! WHACK! Down come the axes onto Tengus srimech! And finally, another WHAM! signifys that Tengu has been rammed into the CPZ beside Whamlets previously occupied one! Storm finds its way into that CPZ and tackles Tengu but is also unable to get arm under! The blades of Tengu try to spin up but Whamlets scoop stops their attempt and now OBelix shoots out, tackling Storm in the rear BUT ENDS UP FLYING OVER THEM!!! Obelix is now on top of Storm and the Storm boys dont know what to do! Frank does - IDSFA gets to Storms side and gets under the now skirtless side, and tries to throw it over. No go. Tengu meanwhile is getting axed to death by Whamlets twin axes, and suddenly he lets Tengu go, but she cant go anywhere while pinning against the wall - ah, he backs up. The Watcher comes in and tackles Whamlet in the side to allow Tengu to go free but IDSFA has different feelings. He drops Storm and wheeling around rams Tengu with the wedge. Again the blades are stopped and Tengu is mashed into the wall! Storm cant seem to dislodge Obelix off of him and goes after IDSFA with the mighty house bot on top, finding Storms speed much reduced thanks to the weight! IDSFA pushes Tengu hard against the wall but that wedge just cant defeat Tengus skirt!

Storm moves forward and Obelix is finally able to get off of him, returning to his CPZ.

IDSFA is tackled from behind and that disc does hardly anything to Storm as he is pressed into Tengu, sliding underneath!

IDSFA tries to get Tengu OOTA but Tengu is only pressed into the wall like Storm was before!

Brilliant fight! Each stood up in their own way and are pretty functional! I think IDSFA took control at the end, but lets let the judges take this one.
