Re: Teething issues
got my electronizes back today. sorted it all and it must be the motor. I can't see it being anything else. Ive swapped ESCs over, its got new radio gear and a receiver pack. Must say the electronize's servicing is brilliant. got them back with £20 out of my £40 back as well!

Re: Teething issues
for what reason would a nimh battery pack not fully charge?! has been sitting completely discharged for a while. does it just need cycling?
-
Re: Teething issues
Probably, ive brought a few batteries back to life with a couple of cycle charger. Cant hurt to try anyway :-)

Re: Teething issues
It's strange. Was charging fine a couple of weeks ago. It goes up to 2300mah (out of 4300mah) then just stops?

Re: Teething issues
discharge now then charge again
-
Re: Teething issues
trying that now. I'm thinking that i should drop the charging amperage to 1 amp rather than 1.5 amps?

Re: Teething issues
Weird question but if one of the battery wires got trapped and squashed whilst charging, would it have any effect?
-
Re: Teething issues
Yes, you will cause the internet to blow up
But seriously, it depends on which wire and whether the battery was shorted. If the battery still charges and discharges fine then chances are that it wouldn't have. If this is the case repair or replace the wire if required. O and learn from the mistake!

Re: Teething issues
Was the positive wire but the plastic coating and shrinking hadn't broke. It literally was trapped between the chassis and armour. I wasn't sure if that would account for the undercharging?
