The FRA Room 101

WOOT! 2 of 3 in so far. I might not do so well on this one :proud:

My 4th choice to go in is a particular brand of clothing that is one of the golden oldies - dating back as far as the 60s - but to me, I believe that it is one of the most confusing items of dress ever.
Mini-Skirts

Befroe I start this rant, Im not a transvestite; I dont wear Mini-Skirts. My main issue with the clothing is that the people who wear them are woman with a lot of boyfirends (Im not sure the FRA will allow me to use the actual word :proud:) or are just plain nasty. It tends to be the former, but the latter makes it odd, as youd go up a girl in a pub or nightclub wearing a mini-skirt, and you go up them and say Can I buy you a drink? and they tend to go No! ***k off you pervert! and I think that if they dont want people to come up to them, put a pair of jeans on - and they are people who will greatly agree with me on this. And the other thing is they look so badly made. Theyre rarely made out of any good materail like lether or something else. Whenever I see them, they look like someone has taken a pair of jeans and cut the leg parts off, and it looks wrong - so wrong that people are resorting to wearing hot-pants instead - which is worse.

Please, do a lot of people who get confused a big favour by confining it into the room.

Yes, if you wonder what this bit is, its one of my own bits of complaining about modern words that annoy me. Its about this pervert thing - I was once called a stalker, and it was seriously wrong and vile and it was not my fault.

I was leaving my DT Class one day, and standing outside, just around the corner was a girl called Sofie, who I rather fancied (it was more of a crush, due to her annoying friends) and I went up and talked to her, and then suddenly her *ANNOYING* friends appeared, and made accusations that I stalked her home one night, even though at that time I was in school finishing off some homework. They then said I made her cry and stalked her around school and had sent perverse texts to her, when I only texted her once to ask her if she was doing anything on that day...theyre pathetic, and their stupidity p***** me off!

no not miniskirts. your tarring my missus with the miniskirt rant and she dont deserve it. she wears miniskirts but looks nice and respectful

Im just nominating Mini-Skirts out of my own experiences, not the wide a spectrum as youve stated Shane.

However, as much i would like to see Sofies irritating friends go down for the annoyance theyve caused me, I didnt nominate them and so they cant :sad:. But they can go in if Frank wishes :-)

I cant put mini skirts in for two reasons.

1) Ive known several nice girls who wear mini-skirts, your experiences are down to bad luck.

2) Without miniskirts, the great Brittish tradition of the drag queen is in severe jeapordy.

Horror Films with Animals

Now, whenever we see the plotline fora Horror Film with animals in, it encourages you to ask 3 major questions: What are the writers on? Is what theyre on legal? Has what theyre on even been created by God or by something madder than themselves?
It involves taking almost evey type of animal imagined, such as Sabre Tooth Tigers (this was in modern day England - WHAT ARE THEY ON? :mrgreen:), Anaconas, Aligatorsa and Sharks (obviously). But when it gets into areas like Sheep and Dogs and Mice and Frogs, then you go What the hell are you writing herew

I own 2 dogs, and in real life, theyre lovely, friendly, pleasent animals - in a horror film, theyd be vicous, scary and would tear you apart!

And they exaggerate the effects of it all - Sheep dont kill people. Sharks cant rip a shark-proof cage - since the name Shark-proof cage.

And theyre everywhere - you just look at this link to get my point:
