I would highly rate the Laser 4/6. It comes complete with a mixer in the TX which saves you putting one in the robot.

Hi
Im looking to build a lifter/flipper in my bot taking this into consideration- less than 100 psi, easy quick and cheap(£40-£70) to build, takes up little space. I was thinking linear actuator unless someone else can think of something that fits the spec
think about using a window wiper mechanism . Im no expert but they are cheap and can lift alot , im not sure about space wise though
well funnilly enough i bought a 10 pack of ww motors. Ive got a reasonable amount of room. Could any1 give me info on ww system or other systems
The WW Mechanism sold by Technobots isnt really suited to a featherweight lifter mechanism. Maybe if youve got a welder and lots of extra space in your robot, it might just work. If I were you Id start looking for a decent and compact linear actuator to buy with your £40-£70. You could probably make quite a decent homemade one if you put your mind to it.
Na when you get free money spend it, dont make a homemade one. How bout http://technobots.co.uk/en-gb/dept_528.htmlhttp://technobots.co.uk/en-gb/dept_528.html KIT D. Would that be ok?
Can anyone explain how a motor lifter would work like the ww one?
Sorry i didnt mean a window wiper i meant a window Winder , It is in the side of the door in a electric car windows it can lift quit alot att hight voltage
Might be worth looking at a Zeobot type actuator http://www.technobots.co.uk/en-gb/dept_528.htmlhttp://www.technobots.co.uk/en-gb/dept_528.html you can either buy the kit or make your own. I made one a while back and used a threaded rod from a workmate and put a drill motor on the end.
