Just to let you all know that when you were all traveling home after the show, and after your long trip home, you all arrive ok and went to your lovely warm beds.... Jonno and I in the truck taking the arena back to nottingham, a tire blew at 12:30am. We contact the brake down people and they said someone will be with you in 20 minutes - 1 hour later a kid arrived with some tools and went Oh its bigger than i thought, i havnt got any tools big enouhg, ill phone base and get someone ELSE to come with bigger tools. So off he went. Another 1 hour later the same kid came back with a bigger socket set and tried to undo the wheel nuts, and his bar was not big enough for the job. So he called for back up. 40 minutes later someone else arrived, and finaly managed to get the wheel off. Then the spare wheel had to be taken from under the truck, took another 30 minutes as the nuts were rusted and stiff. Finally the wheel was changed and at 4:30am we carried our trip back to nottingham. 6:20am we arrived back at Jonnos house where we snuck into bed (not together mind you!) at 6:30am and had 3 hours sleep before starting the day to unload the truck and go home.
But we had fun on the laptop playing Sonic for 4 hours while waiting for the silly brake down company that seemed to have never changed a wheel before.
But the event it self was great, well done to Big Nipper, and well done to Rampage. (I wont get stuck on the wall next time - watch out LOL! Well done James). Hope the event takes place again next year Rob - all seemed good!

Hi guys, I wanted to say that this was a great event. I missed last year, but made up for this time around. My thanks to Rob and the RR crew for putting on a fantastic weekend.
Im glad that Shane is alright.No-one likes splinters, and metal ones are the worst.
Well done to Big Nipper and Rampage for winning thier fights.
Hey Stu, I sympathise with you. I drove most of the way home with Geoff and Tanja fast asleep. I got home at 1am. I was awake just before 7am. See you all at the next event.

the intro music has been composed for us, and we are having a full set of music composed as we speak before the dvd goes into commercial sale.
Remember that was just a sample, the finished article will be over two discs with our own music.
There has been quite a bit of feedback, keep it coming, with some very interesting ideas.

Ali, I understand that only roboteers that attended Magna get the preview version, Im sure you could buy the fininshed edition when its released.
It looks great jonno, especially the menus which have very nice skins. The DVD casing looks great too. An idea would be the addition of an interactive viewing section on the DVD. On one of the robotwars dvds I remember from a while back (I think it was the one with the house robots) there was a bit where you could change the camera angle you were viewing at the press of a remote. If you can manage to record separate camera angles at each event, Im sure the results could look very good.
