Managed to get the cylinder finished :), its been at pirtek today being pressure tested to 350bar and passed :)
now to try and mount in cobalt for the weekend..., aswell as getting tiberius ready going to be busy...

out of interest do you know what thickness of steel cobalt can get through with the new ram
Probably at least 1mm more than the armour on my robot :sad:
Rather than a certain thickness it can go through its more to do with how the armour is supported underneath, if its only supported at each side it will bend the middle in, if its supported everywhere it will have more of a chance to go through
Cos both your machines are sturdy welded boxes I would have thought that would make them ideal targets for getting crushed. Sorry. But then again, if any machine is designed to stop spinners then its probably going to be perfect for Cobalt no matter what.Quote:
