Iron Awe gets away, and gets under the side of Eye of Ran before it gets up to speed, and tosses it in the air! Eye of Ran gets some air, but it€™s not on its back€¦ well, not yet, at least. Now, Eye of Ran spins up to full speed, and gets in with the blade on the side! Iron Awe tries to get away, but€¦

The sparks are flying, and Iron Awe gets spun away with massive force! Iron Awe seems to be damaged after that side collision, as it is limping heavily۠OH! Now I see what Eye of Ran has done to Iron Awe! A piece of rubber from the wheel has been chopped off by the blade, and that caused the initial damage! However, that does not stop the Winter Tour 2008 champion to get underneath Eye of Ran! Now, it tosses Eye of Ran into the air and nearly flips it over on its back, but it stays on its right side up and holds on! Great attack and perseverance by Iron Awe as it tries to put up a good fight. However, Eye of Ran is just too relentless and unstoppable, as it slams into Iron Awe۪s other side!

Iron Awe gets spun away, and its other wheel is ripped in a shower of sparks! Let€™s have a look at it again on the replay€¦ Iron Awe tries getting away, but BOOM! The sparks fly, and the wheel gets ABSOLUTELY shredded! Good attack by Eye of Ran there, as it just decimates Iron Awe€™s tyre! Iron Awe is limping even more, and it is severely handicapped, and oh dear€¦ Eye of Ran comes in again with the blade on the side of the Winter Tour 2008 Champ!

The sparks continue to fly, and Iron Awe is just spun away from the collision€¦ oh dear. But Iron Awe is still hanging in there, still JUST running€¦ and Eye of Ran gets in for what looks to be the final blow! Iron Awe fires its flipper in defense€¦ AT THE WRONG TIME!!!

Booth 1 is occupied by AJ, who is at the controls of Wedga. Also, Matt occupies the other control booth, and he is at the controls of Roo of all Evil. Also, the house robots are controlled by very mysterious people€¦ whoever they are. :proud: In this battle, the house robots will be the Metal family. They are Dead Metal AKA the Robotic Scorpion with the saw and the pincers, and also Mangled Metal with the spinning ring of DEATH.

Off we go with the battle, and immediately Roo is spinning up, but Wedga plays the brave fool, and slams into it with a full head of steam!
CRASH!!!
Look at that! Both robots go spinning away from each other, and Wedga continues to pressure Roo, as it slams its opponent into the saws! BZZZT! Sparks fly, but no damage has been caused to Roo whatsoever. Matt spins Roo up, and slams into the side of AJ€™s machine!

OH, look at the sparks that thing made! The force of collision sends last year€™s heat finalist spinning away! No real damage has been caused, just a scratch. Wedga now slams into Roo, and SLAMS into the Bedford machine before it spins up to full potential! It goes to the wall and€¦

€¦ aaah! Not high enough, as Roo comes crashing back down to earth. Roo spins up again; this is a good battle we are seeing here! Now, it slams into the machine from Shrewsbury with its ring spun up to full speed!

Sparks continue to scatter the arena floor! The attack sends Wedga spinning through the arena and crashing away into a wall! Wedga would be okay though, and slams into Roo with the front! Now, it tosses the Bedford machine 3 feet into the air and into the pit button! Roo comes crashing back down to earth and spins up! Matt slams Roo into AJ€™s machine again, as it spins up to its maximum potential! Wedga tries to turn€¦

Sparks ahoy! Wedga gets spun away, totally out of control! However, even with that kind of punishment, the armour stands up well to the attacks! Wedga regains its composure, and turns towards Roo of all Evil! Now, it slams into the great spinning ring and flips it over and nearly into the pit! Now, this is a great battle we are witnessing here, like I said. The hits are very real, and it is a neck and neck type of fight. At this point, I cannot decide a winner€â€
FLIP!!!
OH! Roo gets absolutely catapulted by Wedga Triton, and it could have gone over the fence if that was near enough! Roo is okay though, as it crashes back down with a thud. Now, Roo tries spinning up again! The spinner is spinning madly, as Roo slams into the side of Wedga Triton!

What a hit, as the spinner SLAMS the 16th seeds hard and sends it spinning away! However, just dents and scratches can be seen in the armour; no REAL damage has been made. AJ cannot take this anymore, so he goes for the back-up plan! He drives Wedga into Roo before it€™s spun up! OMG, is Roo going to get sent to€¦ HE WOULDN€™T!!!

That€™s€¦ whoa. Sparks are LITTERING the arena floor, look at that! Wedga just slammed Roo into Mangled Metal€¦ and now, Roo is still moving, but it€™s not spinning anymore, is it? I think the collision was SO violent, that the energy level was too much for Roo€™s spinner! Whatever it was, it€™s left Roo€™s spinning ring absolutely stone cold! Wedga takes that to advantage and slams into the Bedford machine! It drags Roo over to the wall, and FLIPS with all its might! Roo tries to get away€¦ but there goes Roo of all Evil over the barrier and out! What a battle this was! However, now Wedga doesn€™t really look like it€™s done just yet! It€™s taking on Dead Metal, and flips it over! Refbot won€™t like that, so it€™s a yellow card for you, Mr. Wedga! The crowd reacts to that and boos the Refbot, and Wedga immediately drives under the ref, and€†HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The Refbot gets slammed into the pit! Matt is dying with laughter in his booth, and the crowd is going nuts up in the seats! Ah man, now I€™ve seen everything!

My tactics will be to start with my wedge facing Wedga Triton and try to get around the sides and rear and wedge it, followed by driving in underneath and allowing it to go over the side of my wedge and fall into the - by then spun up - weapon. If I find that that works, repeat as often as necessary, if I find that it isn't working then go back to spinning and hitting and deflecting and usual spinner tactics really :P

Dan: So I€™m up here sitting in the crow€™s nest. Wedga€™s Revenge of course, got beaten by a vertical spinner last time around. Now we€™ve got a Wedga that is much improved than before.
Sam: I think so as well, Dan. Wedga has never been anything like this before, and I think this could be the candidate for going all the way this year. HOWEVER, don€™t forget Eye of Ran has one heck of a spinner. You can see that Joey did a very good job with this machine, and I think this will also go all the way.
Dan: Well, assuming those facts, I think this will go either way; it€™s pretty much anyone€™s game at this point, so we€™ll see what happens.

The crowd falls into stony silence, and Eye of Ran spins madly€¦ but again, it comes in with the rear wedge! This has been a worthy tactic for the Eye, but it€™s Wedga who gets underneath, and tosses it in the air! Look at the air-time, but Eye of Ran recovers by staying on its right side up! Great attack there by the 16th seeded machine, indeed! However, Eye of Ran fights back! It slams in with the rear again, but this time, it gets underneath the machine from Shrewsbury, and turns with the blade!

Oh, the sparks fly and both robots go spinning away from each other! I don€™t really think that there was too much damage at all, though. Wedga is okay as it slams into Eye of Ran and carries it towards the wall! Will the Eye go out?!

Wedga now slams into Eye of Ran before it gets up to speed again, and starts going towards the wall€¦

Oh, the humanity! Sparks are littering the arena floor, and Wedga is thrashed away by the attack! Wedga fights back, and FLIPS the Eye on its back! Eye of Ran is on its back, and taking this to advantage, Wedga slams into the Eye, and carries it to the walls! Is this the end for Eye of Ran?!

Another wheel has been shredded, and Wedga is in a huge amount of trouble as it is driving in circles! Eye of Ran looked like it was finished, but it comes back in stunning form! As for Wedga, it looks like it€™s the end of it. Very valliant competitor, and so close to winning this one, but in the end, the Refbot goes and counts it out!

Too late now, as an ocean buoy is about to fall down on the 16th seeds. Joey counts along with the audience!

1. Mortis VS Obsidian VS Turbulence (14)
A rare real robot rumble! Turbulence to go through relatively easy, with Mortis winning a surprise JD. Close one, this.
2. Deliriium Tremors VS Orac VS TRAFFIC WARDEN
Delirium Tremors may be a bit awkward for Traffic Warden to grapple, so I'll aim for Orac instead. Scoop it up, clamp it up and dump it down the pit.
This is some good stuff thus far, Sam. Can't wait for the rest. :proud:

The former UK champion of Roaming Robots has returned with a flipper powered by CO2. With 2 Bosch motors and plenty of traction, it€™s also got decent pushing power as well. However, as always, CO2 is limited on the machine.
From England, Mortis!
Mortis, a well-known Robot Wars veteran, is back! It€™s virtually unchanged, with the tanto blade and the lifting arm. However, the unreliability has been its downfall in the past. Will it have the same fate here?
From Hoogvilet in Holland, Obsidian!
You might have seen it in Robot Wars Series 5, but trust me, it€™s come a long way since it competed. Improved motors, a new axe, more powerful€¦ you name it. The axe can come down with a force of a jackhammer. Will this robot shine above all else? We€™ll find out!
Roboteers, Stand by€¦
Right, let€™s have a look at the drivers. There€™s Jack Orr with Turbulence, and Lian Walsh with Mortis in the first booth, and the other booth contains Leo Van Miert with Obsidian. The mysterious people who drive the house robots are secretly hiding somewhere€¦ wherever they are. :lame: The house robots will be Gorgon with massive fangs that crush other robots to bits€¦ and Matilda with the tusks and the pink arse of death.

So, off we go with the first battle of Heat J. Already we see Obsidian getting flipped. Now, Mortis gets underneath Obsidian and flips it over! Obsidian tries self-righting, but Mortis gets its axe down on the underbelly! Ouch, that is going to leave a mark€¦ and it has! Mortis has made a dent there, and that looks painful! Obsidian thankfully survives the attack; there is no major damage caused. Now, the Dutch machine self-rights and revs its motors up to speed! It slams into Mortis and retaliates by slamming the axe down! Not too much damage there, just a dent, and Turbulence comes in! Now, it gets underneath Mortis€™s ground clearance, and makes a HUGE FLIP! Oh man, what a flip that was, Mortis flies almost over the fence, but bounces back into the arena. Now, Obsidian comes in on Mortis, and slams into the side of the Robot Wars veteran! It gets its axe down and makes a nice dent in the top armour. Mortis drives away and attacks Turbulence and gets its axe down! However, very little damage is caused to it, despite the power of the axe. Mortis trudges away and goes to attack Turbulence! It gets the hammer down but still, the damage is minimal. Now, Turbulence gets underneath the side of Mortis, and now it flips Mortis over! Mortis self-rights using the lifting arm, and it slams into Obsidian€™s side! Now Obsidian is being hammered by the mighty axe blade of Mortis. It was a weapon that was very dangerous during the old days of Robot Wars. Now, Obsidian fights back and gets its axe down! Both robots take punishment, and dents can be seen in both robots. However, there are no particularly significant damages. Obsidian gets its axe down again, and we have got an axe battle going on! Turbulence meanwhile is staying out of trouble€¦ or is it? Turbulence charges at the two robots and CRASHES their party! Now, it gets under Mortis and takes it somewhere€¦ RIGHT INTO THE CAPABLE FLYWHEEL OF MATILDA!!!
CRASH!!!
OUCH, that€™s got to hurt! Mortis is thrown across the arena, and there is a huge gash in the side! The pit button has been activated by Turbulence meanwhile, but Mortis is not moving freely. I think there is something wrong inside after Matilda€™s flywheel hit Mortis. Oh dear€¦ Mortis is literally limping across the arena now, and Obsidian comes CHARGING at the Robot Wars veteran! Their axes both come down-- and it looks like both of their weapons are locked together for a brief time, but now both bots separate. Turbulence also gets in the action, and slams into Mortis and takes it for a ride into Matilda€™s flywheel AGAIN! Mortis tries desperately to flee--
CRASH!!!
Too little too late, I€™m afraid. The armour has a big gash in it, and the crowd is chanting for the pit. Mortis is not moving, and now Refbot gives the last rites by counting it out.

Delirium Tremors has enough power to drive its opponents delirious. It€™s pretty much a Barberous on steroids. It€™s a bit sluggish, but it€™s got six wheels and a nasty 29kg drum which spins at 3260RPM with 70kJ per hit. Now that is some serious power. Can you say, OUCH?! This machine could be a serious competitor.

Traffic Warden is a newcomer to the competition, but it€™s definitely my pick to win this heat. The clamp is a very powerful weapon, powered by hydraulics. The titanium is also not bad at all, but exposed wheels could definitely be a bit vulnerable.
From England, ORAC!
ORAC is a very old robot from Robot Wars, with big wheels and armour that could be spinner fodder. It DOES have a spinning disc and chisels but I doubt it will get very far into competition, and since there is ONE powerful spinner in this battle€¦

There€™s Steve and Matt in their booth at the controls of Traffic Warden and Delirium Tremors respectively, and Joey at the controls of ORAC. The house robots will be Dead Metal with the pincers and circular saw of doom, and also the big daddy of them all, King Arthur with the flywheel and clamping jaws.

So, Traffic Warden immediately darts for ORAC, and Delirium Tremors spins up to full speed. ORAC tries to get away, but Traffic Warden has a grip on it! Traffic Warden now carries it to Dead Metal€™s CPZ, and ORAC is welcomed with open arms! :proud: Now, ORAC gets away, meanwhile Delirium Tremors is watching ORAC carefully. ORAC tries to attack Traffic Warden, and it nicks the side of Traffic Warden with the disc, but no damage is caused. Traffic Warden darts for ORAC and grabs it, now it goes towards the saws! BZZT! The saws cause sparks to fly, and we now see on the close-up camera that one of the wheels have been sliced! Traffic Warden does not let go of ORAC, instead, it darts for Delirium Tremors and pushes it into the spinning drum! At the same time, here comes Delirium Tremors in for the kill!
CRASH!!!
Oh, what a hit! ORAC just gets levelled by the spinning drum of Delirium Tremors! A wheel just gets ripped off directly and carnage has taken over the warzone! Now, Traffic Warden grabs hold of ORAC, and slams it into the CPZ of Dead Metal, and it tries to get away but Dead Metal welcomes ORAC with open arms! Great pushing power there by Traffic Warden, and the dreaded saw of Dead Metal comes down on ORAC causing sparks to fly! ORAC is in all sorts of trouble, and it finally JUST gets away from Dead Metal! Traffic Warden comes in again, and slams into ORAC! Now, it slams ORAC into the capable flywheel of King Arthur!
CRASH!!!
Crushed. That is all I can say. ORAC suffers huge damage and the other wheel comes off, and Delirium Tremors comes in on ORAC, drum spun up to full speed!

ORAC is JUST tossed across the arena! Matt seems to be having too much fun, it looks like. ORAC suffers some big damage from that hit; a huge amount of armour comes off, exposing the inner parts. Delirium Tremors spins up again, and Traffic Warden comes in on ORAC! The clamp grabs hold of ORAC, and pushes it into Delirium Tremors€™ drum€¦

Delirium Tremors, looking deadly as ever, is driven by Matt Fowler, looking on from a control booth, and Leo van Miert in another booth, is driving Obsidian. Your house robots will make some noise as always. They are Matilda with the forklift tusks and flywheel, and Napoleon Botaparte with the huge pushing power and the low wedge scoop.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
Bang a gong, we are on! Delirium Tremors is immediately spinning up its weapon and moving along. That drum, as always, is absolutely lethal and it's already spun up to full speed. Delirium Tremors is going at Obsidian and the drum comes into play as it comes in on the axebot!
CRASH!!!!
The drum goes rat-a-tat-tat on Obsidian and flips it over, and a small gash is found in its armour. Now Obsidian drives into Delirium Tremors's side and the axe comes down, but it doesn't really cause much damage. Delirium Tremors spins up again, but Obsidian pushes the drumbot into the saws! BZZZT! Delirium Tremors is okay though, as it is still running fairly smooth. The drum is churning away, and it slams into Obsidian's side! Obsidian is desperately trying to get itself away from the drum...
CRASH!!!!
...nope. The drum catches the side and it leaves a small gash, and it flips Obsidian over. Obsidian tries to self-right and Delirium Tremors tries to get Obsidian with the drum! But no, It self-rights and gets away, just in time. Now, Obsidian comes in on the side of Delirium Tremors again, and gets the axe down! But once again, it does not cause much damage to the drumbot. Delirium Tremors gets its drum into play, and comes in on the side of Obsidian!
CRASH!!!!
Ouch. That's gonna leave a mark... it did actually. A huge dent can be seen in the side of Obsidian. The machine from Hoogvilet now pushes Matt's robot into the saws, and sparks are flying! No REAL damage has been caused to Delirium Tremors, though. Now, Delirium Tremors spins up to speed, and slams into Obsidian with the drum again!

The power of the impact is devastating, as Obsidian gets thrown into Matilda's CPZ. Here's Matilda with the flywheel spun up to full speed! Oh no, this does not look good. Leo desperately tries to self-right his machine...

Too little, too late, I'm afraid. Oh boy, some more armour flies off of Obsidian, and... OUCH. It doesn't look good for the Dutch machine, as it is limping across the arena. Oh my goodness. Deluirium Tremors spins up... oh no, this can't be good for Obsidian. The robot from Bedford charges into Leo's machine, drum spun up to full speed...
CRASH!!!!
OH MY GAWD, that is a heck of a hit, as both robots collide with a sickening crash. Obsidian goes flying across the arena and that's got to hurt indeed. At this point, I got to say, even my stomach is knotting up a little. Now, Obsidian is-- hang on just a minute, has Obsidian STOPPED MOVING?! It certainly looks like it's stopped. It's not going anywhere at all. Leo is twiddling the controls frantically, but there's no movement in Obsidian whatsoever. The collision must have dislodged something inside. Now, Delirium Tremors backs away, and the drum slowly coasts to a stop. The Refbot hurries over and counts Obsidian out.
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10!!!
Kudos to Leo for bringing in a brilliant machine. Leo claps for Matt, as the house robots come out to toy with Obsidian, and Napoleon slams the pit button... uh, a nudge is enough. No need to slam it. :proud: Napoleon gets under Obsidian, and pushes it onto the arena flipper... we will witness Obsidian's first flight in t-minus 3... 2... 1... FLIP! We have liftoff, as Obsidian soars and tumbles down on its back, and it gets slammed by Matilda with the flywheel. Now, Napoleon pushes Obsidian onto... THE DROP ZONE?! Oh no, not this again... well, too late now, as a printer is about to come tumbling down on Obsidian. Leo and Matt count along with the audience!
10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... CRASH!!!
Down goes the printer, and finally, Napoleon lines Obsidian up near the pit, and Matilda comes in with the flywheel and Obsidian is tossed in. Delirium Tremors spinning up all of a sudden...

OH!!! Delirium Tremors absolutely levels the printer, and the printer is absolutely shredded!

Right, so there is Jack with Turbulence in one control booth, and Steve on the controls of his robot in the other booth. House robots for this fight are Shunt with the powerful axe, and also Head Smash with the explosive hammer. You wouldn't want to get near any one of these robots. :proud:
3... 2.... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
Here we go again, with Traffic Warden immediately gunning for Turbulence's side, and Turbulence is also trying to do the same thing, it looks like. Turbulence, slightly the more faster here, slams into the side of Traffic Warden and flips it over! Good attack by Turbulence, using its speed and its weapon well. Now, Traffic Warden slams into the rear of Turbulence and clamps it! Turbulence is in trouble here, as it gets slammed into the arena saws! BZZZT! The sparks fly as the saws grind away on the base armour of Turbulence. Now, Turbulence is getting away, and it slams into Traffic Warden's side, and carries it to the wall! Is this fight over so soon for Traffic Warden?
FLIP!!!
Eh? How'd that not go over? :crazy: Close but no cigar for Turbulence, as Traffic Warden bounces off the wall and back in it. Turbulence being aggressive here, chasing Traffic Warden around the arena, but wait! Traffic Warden has got a grip again on Turbulence, and this time, it's going to Shunt's CPZ! A great fight between the two robots here. Shunt gets the axe down, but no real damage has been caused to Turbulence. Traffic Warden lets go of Turbulence, and they separate. Turbulence has got a bead on Traffic Warden here, and slams into the side! Now, Traffic Warden gets fed into the CPZ of Head Smash! Down comes the hammer and Traffic Warden is in major trouble here! Oh my goodness, that hammer came down with a force of a jackhammer, and it's made a hole in the armour. One word, OUCH! Traffic Warden gets away, and gets a grip on Turbulence once more! Now, Traffic Warden slams Turbulence into Head Smash's CPZ! Head Smash showing no mercy towards Turbulence, either. Down will come the hammer, and OH, Turbulence gets it good on the top armour, and has a huge dent on it now... oh boy. Now, Turbulence gets away from Head Smash, and chases after Traffic Warden, and feeds it to the saws! BZZZT! Ah, sparks fly. How lovely. Turbulence will definitely score points on that performance. Now, in comes the machine from Scotland, and it slams into Turbulence and fights back by slamming it into the pit button! Now, Turbulence is being nudged towards the pit... but somehow, it gets away miraculously! To be honest, I don't REALLY know how it managed to escape. :proud: Turbulence gets away now. It slams into Traffic Warden and feeds it to Head Smash! The hammer of doom comes down on Traffic Warden, and it just makes a frightening sound! Holy cannolli, even I was frightened by the noise. :proud: Traffic Warden is just slammed by the hammer, and now, Traffic Warden comes out of the CPZ after getting absolutely levelled by that hammer. Oh my goodness. Great fight we're seeing here though, nice and even between the two machines. Wait a minute though, Traffic Warden has a grip on Turbulence, and it's trying to put it into the saws! BZZZT! The sparks litter the arena floor, and now, Traffic Warden heads for the pit and it's taking Turbulence with it! Turbulence is in peril, as it is about to go down. Is this it for the 14th seed?! NO! The tables have turned again as Turbulence makes another miraculous escape, and the 14th seed is still alive. BUT WAIT! Turbulence may have gotten away from the pit, but not from the Warden! Traffic Warden slams into Turbulence again though, and slams it into the saws! BZZZT! Great showers of sparks scatter across the arena, and Turbuelnce gets away from the saws. Turbulence fights back, as it gets under the side of the Warden and flips the Scottish clampbot into Shunt's CPZ now! Shunt is going to let the Warden know that he does not belong there! The axe comes straight down on Traffic Warden! Ouch, that's going to leave a mark, and a big one. The armour gets dented badly, and Traffic Warden gets away from Shunt, but not from Turbulence! Now, Turbulence gets under Traffic Warden again, and shoves it into Head Smash's CPZ! Head Smash is about to bring the hammer down, and Traffic Warden tries getting away...
WHAM!!!
Too little too late, I'm afraid. The hammer comes blasting down on Traffic Warden... and Traffic Warden gets levelled again by the hammer of doom. Now, uh-oh... Traffic Warden is having all sorts of problems, and it's not moving at all! I think that attack damaged the inside of the machine more than the outside. Oh dear, Steve seems to know what has happened, and smoke is starting to pour out of Traffic Warden! The Refbot rushes over and starts to count out the Warden!
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10!!!
That is the end for Traffic Warden. Kudos to Steve for bring in such a sophisticatedly-designed machine. Turbulence gets underneath the beaten clampbot and drives towards the wall... it is GONE! It's out of there! But it seems to me that Turbulence wants much more action, as it takes on Shunt in the CPZ! Shunt gets toppled over, and now, Steve is yelling for Shunt to get down the pit! Jack drives Turbulence into Shunt, and into the pit it goes! Refbot on the other hand, is not amused with at all with this scene. But it's getting ugly for the Refbot as Turbulence gets underneath, and just as the Refbot is about to give a yellow card to Turbulence-- HAHAHAHAHAHA! The Refbot gets flipped on its side! They're both going nuts up in their control booths! Ah man, now I've seen everything.

Justine: Delirium Tremors, when I first saw it, the weapon seemed absolutely frightening. Turbulence is also a superb robot with the huge flipper, the four-wheel drive, the whole nine yards. With these two great robots in the heat final, it's gonna be an awesome match-up.
Dan: Well, I agree that it's gonna be a great match. However, Delirium Tremors, I think has the more edge here because of the weapon. Although it's quite slow and sluggish, its weapon is the key here to win. What do you think?
Justine: Delirium Tremors DOES have a more dangerous weapon, so I agree with your decision. I'm going for Delirium Tremors to dazzle us all in the final.

Let's see here... Matt is focused on the controls of Delirium Tremors in one booth, and in the other one, we can see Jack Orr driving Turbulence. The house robots we'll see in this battle is Sgt. Bash with the lethal pincers and the ever-so-dangerous flame thrower... and King Arthur, the big daddy of them all, opening up his maw in hopes of trapping someone.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
These are two very formidable machines here. Delirium Tremors is currently spinning up its lethal drum to full speed. Turbulence, however, is much more nippier than Delirium Tremors. Turbulence is coming in quickly and slams into the drumbot before it gets up to full speed, and flips it! It has absolutely no effect, as Delirium Tremors is invertible. However, Turbulence will score points on aggression if this goes to a judge's decision. Delirium Tremors spinning up again, but Turbulence comes in on its side! It gets underneath Delirium Tremors and tosses it up in the air! Great attack by Turbulence, but Delirium Tremors is doing pretty well hanging on in there. Now, Matt can't take it anymore, so he gets the drum up to speed on Delirium Tremors again, and this time, it goes for Turbulence's side...
CRASH!!!
Turbulence is tossed by the deadly drum of Delirium Tremors and comes back down with a thump! Turbulence fights back by shoving Delirium Tremors into the CPZ of King Arthur, and Delirium Tremors gets away just in the nick of time! Delirium Tremors spins up again, and this time, it goes for the other side of Turbulence, drum spun up to full speed! Turbulence is trying to get away...

... and the collision is massive! There is a huge flurry of sparks being created, and the slam sends Turbulence flying onto its back. Nice attack there by Delirium Tremors. Turbulence self-rights, slams into Delirium Tremors' side and flips it! Delirium Tremors spins up again, and slams into the side of Turbulence once more...

The slam sends Turbulence flying again, sparks litter the arena floor, and Delirium Tremors will score points for that. Turbulence is still moving properly though, and this is a terrific battle we're seeing here! Turbulence is a great robot, it reached the Heat Final last year, only to be beaten by Son of Ripper Hex, and was also a champion in the Roaming Robots competition several years ago as well. Now, Turbulence gets underneath the drumbot again and carries it to the wall!
FLIP!!!
OH! It just manages to hang on! Delirium Tremors gets back in and hangs on by the skin of its chinny-chin-chin! :proud: Now, Delirium Tremors spins up yet again... oh my goodness, I have never seen the drum move that fast...

The collision is absolutely huge, as it tosses Turbulence like a salad. Sparks litter the arena floor, and both robots are doing very well. Turbulence is slightly limping around the arena, but it sure doesn't stop from fighting back! It flips the drumbot from Bedford, and both robots are doing absolutely amazing here. Turbulence now being chased by Delirium Tremors again, and the drumbot comes in, weapon spun up to full speed!
CRASH!!!
The forecast calls for flurries of sparks! :proud: Big collision there as Turbulence is tossed in the air again by that dangerous and deadly drum RIGHT INTO THE ARENA SAWS! BZZZT! Even more sparks fly, and the audience loves it! Turbulence fights back, and slams into the side of Delirium Tremors, and carries it to the wall again...
FLIP!
It didn't go out, as Delirium Tremors again, manages to hang on in there! WOW! This is a great attack there by the former Roaming Robots champion, and Matt just manages to hang on, and he breathes a sigh of relief. Delirium Tremors, spins up again--

... and what a collision this was! Turbulence gets tossed by that deadly drum of Delirium Tremors again, and Turbulence lands in the CPZ of King Arthur... uh-oh. King Arthur is angry as heck. He does not like someone invading his personal space. Trust me, you wouldn't want to imagine King Arthur getting angry. Oh my goodness... he isn't JUST angry, he is absolutely ticked off to the max. His flywheel is spinning, and he is just-- OH NO. Turbulence is trying to get away, but...
KERRASH!!!
Oh... my... god. That hit is monumental. The slam sends the former Roaming Robots champ flying, and almost out of the arena! There is a huge dent in the armour due to the attack. Turbulence is immobile and not moving, but its flipper IS working somehow! It's firing its flipper to show some sign of life, but now Delirium Tremors charges at the open flipper...
BOOM!
Turbulence can't do anything about this. There goes the weapon, and the CO2 ram of Turbulence's flipper has been snapped by the drum. OUCH. The Refbot hurries over to Turbulence, knowing the time has come for him to do his everyday duty.
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10!!!
Turbulence is out of there. Jack puts his controls down and claps for Matt. A brilliant robot has gone out of the competition, and the house robots gang up on Turbulence. King Arthur opens up its maw and takes Turbulence in it, and now it drops Turbulence off on the arena flipper. 3... 2... 1... and we have lift-off! Turbulence tumbles onto its back, and King Arthur pushes the pit button, and the audience must really love that! They want Turbulence down in the pit of doom! Now Sgt. Bash slowly pushes Turbulence ever so close to the pit... and that's it, and Turbulence has fallen in! It's all over... OR IS IT? Matt is grinning devilishly as he spins up, and-- OH NO, HE WOULDN'T!!!

Yes... he did it anyway. Delirium Tremors rips a chunk out of Sgt. Bash. Jack is loving it, he's pounding on the glass and cheering. Matt smiles, and nods in satisfaction. Sgt. Bash on the other hand, not so much. :proud:

GeFiveOrce... quite an interesting name, if you think about it. :proud: This machine went to the Heat Final last year, and got the Co2 tank destroyed by Clawdius. However, the machine was redesigned into a more powerful launch pad, and the titanium for the wheel guards isn't very flimsy either. and at a decent 16mph top speed, this robot is relatively speedy. However, it's got limited gas on board, and the machine invertible, and you know what that means... yup, exposed wheels.
From Glasgow, in Scotland, Killotine Evo!
The axe sensation returns to the warzone! It still has a deadly axe powered by Co2 and great pushing power as well. The axe comes down with powerful force, and the LEM-130 motors give it a 16mph top speed which is more than enough to push other bots around. However, it will run out of Co2 sooner or later... does that matter?
From Texas in the USA, Lightning XP1!
This robot is basically a remake of the robot Lightning who got beaten hands-down by Gravity in the 7th Wars. It has a pretty powerful flipper on board, and this machine can also be self-righted using the weapon. However, it's powered by gas, so it can run out sooner or later.

There's Steve and AJ in one booth, driving Killotine and Ge5orce, and also in the other booth, Mark will be driving Lightning XP1. The house robots will be Mangled Metal, with the spinning ring which has WAY more power than Chara's thundering slapshot, and there's also Shunt with the mighty scoop lifter, and the lethal axe.

Bigger Brother couldn't take out Razer, I'm afraid. What do you think he's going to do against something similar yet more powerful? :P Anyway, crunch onto the flipping arm and take it out of commission. If Alpha-Bolt gets in the way, turn on it instead and sink my tooth into it. Or let it team up with me on the realie, if it's willing. :P
The first battle of Heat K is under way in the arena. Lightning XP1 immediately darts for the seeded Ge5orce, and flips it over. Killotine joins the action, and immediately sinks its axe into Lightning's rear, causing a huge dent in the armour. Now, Ge5orce closes in on Lightning's rear, and the flipper fires!
FA-LIP!
What an air-time that Lightning had, it just went 12 feet in the air, and comes crashing back down! This is already looking like Gravity VS Lightning all over again... oh boy. Now, Lightning goes for Killotine and somehow gets under the side! Now Killotine gets flipped over, but self-rights! Now, Killotine slams into Lightning and gets underneath! Killotine rams Lightning into the wall, and what power! Lightning just gets slammed into the wall there by Killotine's shoving ability! Ge5orce now takes on Lightning, but it's Ge5orce who gets flipped over! Lightning is actually doing quite well here for a novice, putting in a few solid flips in on the opponents, but Killotine immediately charges at its side. Lightning tried to turn with the flipper, but it was too late. Now, Killotine gets underneath, and it gets Lightning into the CPZ of Mangled Metal... UH-OH!
CRASH!!!
What a collision, as Lightning gets rocked by the deadly spinning rim of Mangled Metal! Lightning loses some armour and also, it is slightly limping, but other than that, it looks fine. It gets away from the CPZ, but Ge5orce chases after Lightning, and gets underneath!
FLIP!!!
The flip is enormous as the Shropshire machine gives Lightning some air time! Lightning comes back down with a crash, and gets itself away from Ge5orce! However, not from Killotine as it gets axed by the Scottish machine. Lightning fights back, and slams into Killotine! It gets underneath the side and carries it to the wall!
FLIP!!!
Close but no cigar for Lightning. It does not go out, as Killotine takes a tumble, bounces off the arena wall and back in it! Killotine self-rights and darts for the pit release button, and the pit goes down! Ge5orce now darts for Lightning, and flips it right into Mangled Metal's CPZ!
CRASH!!!
Oh Lordy. Showers of sparks litter the arena floor, and Lightning is thrusted away upon contact! Some more armour pieces fly off, and what an attack by Ge5orce! The flipper on Ge5orce is much improved and also very effective, indeed. Lightning is limping even more now, courtesy of Mangled Metal's spinning rim. Using that to an advantage, Killotine gets in with the axe, and drags Mark's robot towards the pit of doom! Lightning tries getting away from danger, BUT IT GOES IN! The match is over in about a minute! Kudos to Mark for a good effort, but it was absolutely not enough as Killotine and Ge5orce move on... BUT WAIT A MINUTE! Ge5orce is now taking on Shunt in the CPZ, and flips it over! Killotine goes in for the kill now, AND AXES SHUNT'S WHEEL! Now, Killotine continues to axe away on Shunt. Oh my goodness, can you believe it... :proud: :proud: :proud: Ge5orce now lines itself up with Shunt, and drives at full speed ahead!
FA-LIP!
Shunt flies out of the arena, and it's lying helpless on the camera tracks... Steve and AJ are loving it up there. Ah man, now I've seen everything.

Killobite was beaten in the Heat Final last year by Tempest, but now, it's returned with more power, more strength and more brutality. It's better in every way imaginable, especially that crusher / forklift combo, and it can wreak havoc and cause serious damage to opponents. Can you say, OUCH?! Will Killobite bite off more than it can chew, or will it have even more deadly venom in its bite? We'll see what happens!
From Brighton, in East Sussex, Bigger Brother!
The former runner up of Robot Wars is in action again! Bigger Brother was a fan favourite in Robot Wars who made it all the way to the Final in Series 5. Its flipper remains powerful as always, and it has also got a pretty tough outer shell. However, it may be vulnerable to crushers, since Razer took care of it quite nicely in the Series 5 Final. Now, how will it fare here, being in a match with a crusher which has way more power than Razer?

Lewis Matthews has done it again and built another magnificent machine. Alpha-Bolt can run fast, and it has good pushing power. The main weapon is a lifting arm similar to Alpha Raptor's weapon in Battlebots. It can run both ways up as well, but as usual with all invertible machines, exposed wheels are its weekness.

Kody and Lewis are in one control booth, driving Killobite and Alpha-Bolt, and Jack Orr is in another control booth driving Bigger Brother. Now, of course we can't forget about our beloved house robots. They are Mindbender with the spinning cage, and the captain of the Robot Wars House Robot Team, Mr. Psycho with the awesome hammer and grabbing hands... looks deadly. By the way, has anyone ever seen the drivers of these house robots? I sure haven't. :lame:
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!
The Refbot signals the start of the match and here we go! Killobite immediately darts after the former runner-up of Robot Wars, Bigger Brother. Killobite Sigma, is a far different machine than Killobite V. It is a much improved machine, like I said in the introductions. New motors, new design, you name it... and immediately, Bigger Brother is in trouble! Killobite has a tight hold on it, and drags it towards the arena saws! BZZZT! Some sparks are flying, and the audience wants more carnage! They want to see some robot get brutally destroyed, and it looks to me that robot might be Bigger Brother early on in the battle! Alpha-Bolt looks on, and it stays out of trouble at the moment. Killobite lets go of Bigger Brother, but look at the damage done already! The crushing beak has already made huge holes in the armour! Now, Alpha-Bolt crashes their party, collides into Bigger Brother, and now, pushes it into the CPZ of Mr. Psycho! Bigger Brother desperate to get away from there, and now Mr. Psycho shows his mighty power by letting his hammer down!
WHAM!
Bigger Brother sustains damage from the powerful hammer blow, and now, it gets away from the CPZ! Now, Bigger Brother gets under Alpha-Bolt and flips it over! However, Alpha-Bolt is able to right itself just like that! Alpha-Bolt retaliates and gets underneath, and now it slams Bigger Brother into the CPZ of Mr. Psycho again, waiting with his sledgehammer! Bigger Brother tries getting away--
WHAM!
... but the hammer causes even more damage to Bigger Brother, and it sustains more damage. Oh boy, this does not look good for the machine from Brighton. Bigger Brother gets away, but Killobite comes in with the lethal beak, and crunches down! The beak is causing some nasty damage to the former Robot Wars favourite! Oh dear... Killobite now has Bigger Brother tightly in its clutches, and feeds it to the saws! BZZZT! Sparks fly, and Bigger Brother is limping a bit now. I think that the saws actually cut one of the tires. That will be an advantage, as it will be much easier to attack now that the wheel has been shredded. However, that does not stop Bigger Brother from getting under Alpha-Bolt and flipping it over! Alpha-Bolt quickly self-rights, and now it fights back, lifting up Bigger Brother with the lifter! Lewis is smirking devilishly and now, the Brighton machine gets taken... to the spinning cage of MINDBENDER!!!
CRASH!!!
Good Lord, what a collision, as sparks fly and Bigger Brother goes spinning away... oh dear. This does not look good for Bigger Brother even though it's still mobile... only just. Now Killobite gets underneath, and Bigger Brother tries to turn and fire the flipper to save itself... at the WRONG TIME! Killobite sinks its venomous beak into Bigger Brother once again, and-- OH! the Co2 tank has ruptured, it looks like! Oh my goodness... Killobite lets go of Bigger Brother, and it gets away from the Canadian machine, but not Alpha-Bolt! Now, it slams Bigger Brother into Mindbender's CPZ once again!
CRASH!!!
The contact unleashes sparks and a sickening crunch of metal. Bigger Brother is spun out of control, and gets tumbled near the saws! Now, Bigger Brother is standing quite still, and for me, I think it's immobile. The Refbot sure thinks so as well. It notices that Bigger Brother is no longer moving, and starts counting it out!
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10!!!
A great machine known as Bigger Brother has sadly met its doom in Round 1. It's about this time that the arena becomes a playground for the house robots. Mindbender spins itself up, and rams Bigger Brother with forceful speed!
CRASH!!!
Good Lord, that was a big hit... and Bigger Brother gets spun away, losing some more armour. Mr. Psycho grabs the beaten machine, and puts it on the DROP ZONE?! Not THIS again... but it's too little, too late, I'm afraid. A big ol' dishwasher is about to go tumbling down on Bigger Brother! Jack, Kody and Lewis count along with the audience!
10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... CRASH!!!
The dishwasher comes down hard on the beaten machine, and now Bigger Brother is dragged onto the pit. Alpha-Bolt presses the pit button and Bigger Brother descends slowly... and down it goes! BOOM!

Well Killotine's getting rather old, so I'd say it's time to send it packing back to Glasgow, at least in need of a redesign. :P That axe will find it hard to grapple my pentagonal shape, especially with the claw in the way, and I'd say my forks would be able to sneak underneath his front scoop, at least if I dig into the floor. Drive-wise, I'm sure I can outmanoeuvre him.
Main tactics are to clamp in and drag straight to the pit. But if that isn't working well, take him to the house robots to soften him up.

Killobite, with the lethal beak and forklift, is driven by the amazing Kody Kunz in one control booth, and Killotine, with the axe looking ever so deadly, is driven by Steve McGregor in the other control booth. The house robots in this battle will be Matilda with the tusks and the flywheel of doom, and Lancelot with the pincers... looks deadly, ain't it?
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
Now, here we go again, as both robots look to do away with each other. Both robots have kill in the name, go figure. :proud: Anyway, Killotine gets underneath Killobite, and gets its axe down! Killobite gets driven into the arena saws! BZZZT! Sparks are flying and the audience members absolutely love it! Good attack there by Killotine, but Killobite gets away finally! Now, it fights back by getting underneath the rear of Killotine, and it sinks its devastating beak into the Scottish robot! The damage is not very significant, but that attack will score points if this battle goes to a judge's decision. Killobite gets underneath the side of Killotine now, and the weapon combo comes into play! The crusher comes down and the forklift comes up, and Killotine is in peril here, as it gets slammed into the saws! BZZZT! Again, Killobite shows the brute strength and force of the weapon! Killotine gets away, and slams into the side of Killobite! Now it slams the axe in and slams Killobite right into the CPZ of Lancelot! It welcomes Killobite with open arms, but it JUST gets away by the skin of its chinny-chin-chin! :proud: So far, this is a very good and even battle with incredible aggression being shown from the combatants! Killotine gets the axe down again on Killobite, and it causes a minor dent in the armour. However, now the tides have turned! Killobite now gets in underneath Steve's machine again, and that crushing beak down! The Canadian machine now goes into Matilda's CPZ, and takes Killotine with it! Matilda's got her flyhweel ready, and Killobite with Killotine tightly in its grasp, shoves the Scottish machine to the flywheel!

The sparks fly, and the force of the collision thrusts both robots slightly upward. Killotine now gets away, and slams Killobite into the saws! BZZZT! The sparks fly again, and the audience loves it! Now, Killotine lets go of Killobite, and fighting back is Killobite which slams into the axebot with its front wedge, and gets the crusher down! Killobite sends Killotine ever so close to the flame grille, and Killotine gets roasted by the flames! Now, Killotine gets away; both of these robots are doing extremely well in this battle. Killotine fights back by slamming into Killobite, and dragging it towards the CPZ of Matilda who has the flywheel ready! Killobite trying to get away...
CRASH!!!
The sparks fly and that slam from the flywheel tumbles Killobite on its back, but it self-rights easily. No real damage has been caused by that attack, just a small scratch. Killobite is holding on valliantly, and gets under the skirts of Killobite again! The weapon synergy comes into play now, as it holds Killotine tightly in its grasp! Now, it drags Killotine towards the saws! BZZZT! Sparks fly and the audience loves it! Killobite releases its grip on Killotine, but it is somewhat limping across the arena floor; it's not moving freely. I think that one of the wheels on Killotine was sliced by the saws, and the damage is somewhat hindering the mobility of Killotine. Will that be an advantage for Killobite, I wonder? Well, it certainly does not stop Killotine from getting in underneath Killobite's side and pushes it into Matilda's CPZ!
CRASH!!!
The collision with Matilda's flywheel sends Killobite on its side, but it easily self-rights again using those Razer-esque wings. Killobite nudges the pit release button, and you know what that means. but Killotine comes at it and axes it up! Lots of action coming from both of these robots in this battle. Killotine now gets underneath and tries to put it into the pit, but Killobite gets away, only just! Kody breathes a sigh of relief, and now Killotine comes in and slams into Killotine's side! It slams the machine into the CPZ of Lancelot, and Killobite is in trouble-- OH, it ONLY JUST got away, as Lancelot tried to close in on Killobite and clamp it! Now Kody looking like he cannot take it anymore... and now Killobite gets underneath Killotine, clamps it hard and heads for the pit! Killotine's wheels are spinning and trying desperately to get away. However, it just cannot get out as Killobite grabs the axebot tightly with the weapons! Killotine cannot REALLY seem to escape the clutches of Killobite! As for Killobite, it can end it all here, will Killotine go down... YES! It's all over! Killotine cannot do anything about this, as it is in the pit! Steve claps for Kody as Killobite goes off running into Matilda's CPZ to celebrate! Oh boy, I've got a feeling that this is not going to end well-- OH! Matilda's side is getting completely crushed by Killobite's weapon, and already the damage is massive-- look at that! Killotine now pushing Matilda towards the saws! BZZZT! The wheel is shredded by the saws... oh lordy. Now, Matilda gets crushed even more on the other side. It fires its forlift tusks to save itself, but Killobite has already done quite a lot of damage. Killobite now going towards the flames, this doesn't look good at all for Matilda. FWOOM! Oh boy, I'm starting to have some flashbacks of Razer destroying Matilda in the 4th Wars Annihilator. Oh my goodness... and Matilda is on fire. It's just all too horrid to watch, to be honest. Meanwhile, Steve is absolutely enjoying this scene up in his booth. As Refbot tries to cool Matilda off with a gust of CO2, The crowd is going nuts, Killobite takes a bow to the crowd and Kody has a smile of satisfaction on his face. As for Matilda, well... let's just say, she's quite hot about this whole situation. :proud:

If that fails, open the pit and try to dump Alpha-Bolt in it.

The house robots will be dishing out more mayhem and carnage in their CPZ's. They are Sgt. Bash, looking to flambe another robot with its flamethrower, and Gorgon with the fangs... looks deadly, doesn't it?
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
Here we go with the second match of Round 2. Immediately, Alpha-Bolt comes in on Ge5orce's side and slams it into the saws! BZZZT! The sparks fly, and the audience loves it! Good aggression being shown by Alpha-Bolt there! Now, Ge5orce turns and drives towards Alpha-Bolt! Alpha-Bolt-- OH! Some good air-time for Alpha-Bolt! Ge5orce flips it 10 feet in the air and Alpha-Bolt comes crashing back down! Alpha-Bolt fights back, and slams Ge5orce into the CPZ of Gorgon! The fangs come down on Ge5orce and causes a slight dent, which is not really THAT visible. Now, Ge5orce gets away from the CPZ, and crashes into Alpha-Bolt-- OH, how about that! That is one heck of a wicked flip as it sends Alpha-Bolt 14 feet up in the air! Alpha-Bolt is still okay, and slams into Ge5orce with massive force! Now it slams Ge5orce into the CPZ of Sgt. Bash, and Bash isn't pleased with that, so he torches Ge5orce with the dreaded flamethrower! Ge5orce doesn't like that one bit, and FLIPS BASH OVER! Ge5orce gets away, and tries to come crashing into Alpha-Bolt, and gets underneath! Now, it carries Alpha-Bolt to the wall-- OH! It does not go out, as Alpha-Bolt takes a tumble and bounces off the wall back into the arena! Lewis drives Alpha-Bolt into Ge5orce's side, and rams it into the saws! BZZZT! Sparks fly again and the audience reacts to that! Both robots are doing well in this battle. Ge5orce, of course, has the flipper which has improved a lot. Last year, it got in the Heat Final and lost to E Clawdius Unum. Alpha-Bolt, on the other hand, is a formidable newcomer with a great lifter and also a great pushing power. Now, it lifts up Ge5orce and SLAMS it into the saws again! BZZZT! Alpha-Bolt has that great pushing power, but Ge5orce has a HUGE flipper-- OH! Ge5orce just effortlessly chucks Alpha-Bolt up in the air again! Look at the air time, that must have at least been 10 feet high! Alpha-Bolt is still hanging on in there; I am absolutely loving this fight! Very good aggression shown by both robots here! Alpha-Bolt, now goes in with the front on Ge5orce, lifts it up, and SLAMS it into Gorgon, but it gets away just in the nick of time! Now, Ge5orce going straight for Alpha-Bolt, and gets underneath! Now it carries Alpha-Bolt to the wall... Alpha-Bolt trying to get away-- BUT IT'S OUT OF THERE!!! My goodness, Alpha-Bolt just won't give up, but Ge5orce finally gets it out... and it's all over in 57 seconds! Ge5orce celebrates by pushing Sgt. Bash out of the CPZ, and pressing the pit button! Now, Ge5orce dumps Bash into the pit! BOOM! Uh-oh, Refbot gives Ge5orce a yellow card, and AJ doesn't like it one bit! AJ drives Ge5orce directly into Refbot and CHUCKS it into the pit as well! Lewis is cheering and pounding on the glass fron his control booth, while AJ smiles and celebrates his victory.

Ge5orce is a tricky customer with its 2WD. With equal amounts of wheels, however, I'm sure I can hold my own against the flipper in terms of manoeuvrability. Force as many head-to-head confrontations as I can, use my nice drivetrain to stop him from getting at my sides. If needed, I can dig the forks into the ground to get under his flipper. When I do get under, clamp down and take to Mr. Pit, or house robots if I need to soften him up. And, obviously, self-right when needed. :P

We've got a great heat final match-up this fine evening, as Killobite and Ge5orce get set to battle each other. Kody is driving Killobite in one booth, and Andy is driving Ge5orce in the other booth. The house robots in this battle will be Sir Killalot with the spear and pincers, and the big daddy of them all... King Arthur opening up its maw like a roaring tiger.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
As always, Refbot's green light signals the start of the match and they're off! Silence has taken over the audience now. Both robots have worked hard to get this far, and already chasing each other around. Now, Ge5orce tosses Killobite up in the air. Killobite takes some good air-time! Of course, Killobite can self-right easily just like that. Immediately it fights back by getting under the side of AJ's machine. Now that lethal beak comes down on the 12th seeds and makes a nice dent in the armour. Both robots exchanging attacks early on in this battle, and Ge5orce gets away from the crushing beak. Now, Killobite is flipped over on its side by Ge5orce, but it is able to right itself once again. Ge5orce now flips Killobite into Sir Killalot's CPZ, but it only just gets away before Killalot could do anything with it. Now, Killobite retaliates with an attack of its own, and slams into Ge5orce's side! The beak comes down, and another dent is made on the flipper of Ge5orce, still no major damage though. Ge5orce gets away, turns and flips the Canadian machine over, and again, Killobite self-rights without any problem. Good battle we're seeing here, very nice and even between the two robots. If you remember last year's tournament, both of these robots were beaten at this stage. Ge5orce was beaten in the Heat N Final by Clawdius, and Killobite got beaten in the Heat P Final by Tempest. Thus, for one of these robots, this will be a chance for redemption. Uh-oh! Now Killobite is in trouble; it's being carried to the wall by Ge5orce! Will it go out?!
FLIP!!!
Fortunately not, as Kody's machine bounces off the wall and gets back in the arena! Kody sighs with relief, but it is short-lived. Ge5orce now carries Killobite onto the saws! BZZZT! The sparks fly, and the crowd loves it! Killobite gets away though, and plays the brave fool by going head-on into Ge5orce! Their zero ground clearence cancel each other out, but it is Killobite who gets underneath first! Both of these robots looking very good so far, and now the lethal beak comes into play on Killobite, which causes another dent on Ge5orce's armour! Now, it slams Ge5orce into the pit button, and the pit opens, waiting to devour something whole. Killobite starts to shove the 12th seeds closer to the pit! BUT WAIT! It only just gets away from the crusher, and gets underneath the side of Killobite-- OH, that's a huge flip right there! Killobite gets tossed 8 feet up in the air and comes back down with a loud thud! Kody looks like he can't take this any longer! Killobite now gets under Ge5orce's side again, and the weapon synergy comes into play! Now, with Ge5orce in its grasp, Killobite goes into the CPZ where King Arthur's flywheel awaits! Ge5orce trying its very best to turn and get away from danger...
CRASH!!!
Nope, it didn't happen, as Ge5orce gets absolutely hammered by that cutting disc of King Arthur! One of the wheel guards is damaged, but Ge5orce gets away! The damage does not stop the Shropshire machine to slam into Killobite's side! Now, carrying it towards the wall, will Killobite go out?!
FLIP!!!
No, it didn't, as Killobite only just hangs on and lives to fight another moment! Killobite self-rights and gives chase towards Ge5orce! Now it slams into the side of 12th seeds and gets the weapon synergy going again! Now, Killobite pushes Ge5orce into the saws and sparks are flying! The audience goes nuts, and now Ge5orce gets away, and TOSSES Killobite 9 feet up in the air and Killobite lands near the saws! What a huge flip this is! Killobite easily self-rights and is completely oblivious to the attack. Now the machine from Ontario plays the brave fool again, and slams itself into the front of Ge5orce! Their zero ground clearence cancels each other out... but again, it's Killobite who gets underneath first! Down comes the crusher, and Killobite slams the 12th seeds into the saws! BZZZT! Sparks fly again, and now Ge5orce is still in the clutches of Killobite! The crusher starts pushing the machine from Shrewsbury ever so close to the pit, but again, it gets away and slams into the side of Killobite-- AND FLIPS IT! That is a big-time flip right there, but Killobite just keeps on coming back! Now, Killobite again goes for the front of Ge5orce, but it's the Shropshire machine who gets underneath first this time around! Ge5orce is trying to get it towards the wall to end it all here! Will Killobite go out?!
FLIP!!!
... and still, it manages to hold on, as Killobite just bounces back into the arena! My goodness, what a great battle this has been! Lots of awesome action here, and Killobite fights back! It goes for the front of Ge5orce, and the forklift gets underneath first! The weapon synergy comes into play again, and now it hurries over to the CPZ! King Arthur is waiting, with the cutting disc spun up to full speed! Ge5orce tries to get away--
CRASH!!!
Sparks litter the arena floor, and Ge5orce gets absolutely HAMMERED once again by the flywheel! Now, we can see that Ge5orce's other wheel guard has been damaged. At last, Ge5orce gets away from King Arthur, limping heavily... but not from Killobite! It has a grip on Ge5orce and SLAMS it towards the saws! Sparks fly and the audience again, goes crazy about it! This is an excellent battle we're seeing here, one of the best yet in this series of RoboBash! Now, Ge5orce gets underneath Killobite, and flips it over! Killobite self-rights, and time is running out for both of these robots...
10... 9... 8...
Killobite gets underneath the 12th seeds, and sinks the beak into one of the wheel holes, and Ge5orce is in trouble again-- OH! The wheel has been damaged, and you can hear the popping sound! That could really catch the eyes of the judges and Killobite will have points for damage!

Ge5orce hanging on in there but Killobite keeping the 12th seeds in its clutches...
3... 2... 1...
Killobite rushes Ge5orce closer to the pit of doom, but time is about to run out! Ge5orce is trying to go away from danger... its wheels are very close to the edge...

That was close but Ge5orce is saved by the bell, and what a fantastic battle it was! Now it's all up to the judges.

Kody: Well, obviously, being in battle with a great machine like Ge5orce was tough, but at the same time, I had a great time being in there.
Sam: That's great to hear. What are you going to do for the upcoming semi-finals?
Kody: Recharge the batteries, and of course, sharpen the weapon up a bit and make it more evil.
Sam: You think you can go all the way?
Kody: Most likely, yeah. I have confidence.

Against two of your normal flippers, Storm would be in trouble. However...Lime-y's rather long and Gabriel...would have a hard time getting its flipper into play against something like Storm. I'll take Lime-y to crash out.

Lime-y is a newcomer, but as always, they are never to be underestimated. This is a basic wedge shaped robot with a flipper that has more than enough power to flip opponents out of the arena. Also, with good armour, this robot is a force to be reckoned with. However, the flipper is powered by gas, so it can run out of flips. Great machine overall, though.
From Ipswich, Storm 2!
Storm 2 got a one-way ticket to the 7th Wars in the New Blood Championships and made an amazing run to the Grand Final of the 7th Wars. It also won the third world championships of Robot Wars. The main weapon is major pushing power, but it does have a lifting arm very similar to Battlebots' Biohazard. However, it may be difficult to control at times, and being invertible means that the wheels are exposed.

The angel of death returns again, after getting pummeled into submission by Aftershock's drum in last year's series semi-finals. The flipper can flip a robot out of the arena easily, and the elongated tetrahedron shape means that it will be able to self-right no matter what. However, it's got limited gas on board. Does that really matter? ;)
Roboteers, Stand By...
There's Joey and Tracy in one control booth driving Gabriel and Lime-y respectively, and driving Storm 2 in the other booth is Jack. The house robots are in the arena, and they all want a piece of our competitors. They are Shunt with the axe and lifting scoop, and also King Arthur with a flywheel which has more power than Chara's wicked slapshot. OUCH.
3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!!!
The Refbot's green light signals the start of the match, and off we go. Three very good robots are duking it out here. Gabriel chases Storm 2, but the Ipswich machine immediately guns for Lime-y! Now it lifts up the Canadian machine with the lifter and slams it into the wall! Good show of offense there by the former runner-up of Robot Wars. Now, Gabriel continues its pursual of Storm 2 and gets itself underneath the side! It tries to push Storm 2 into King Arthur's CPZ but it gets away just in time! Now, Storm 2 fights back, and slams the 10th seeded machine right into the arena saws! BZZZT! Sparks are flying, and the audience reacts to that by cheering. Good attack there, but now, Lime-y comes charging in on Storm 2 and gets underneath-- OH! A good flip there, as Storm 2 got some air time and lands with a thud! Storm 2 is still on its right side up, as it slams into Gabriel! The champion of the New Blood competition slams Gabriel into Shunt's CPZ! Shunt gets its axe down, and makes a dent in the armour! Gabriel, as we all know, went to the series semi-finals last time, only to get beaten up real good by Aftershock. It's looking to go farther this time around as it slams into Storm 2's side and flips it right on its back! Now, it is technically invertible, but this would be a disadvantage for Storm 2. Lime-y is now crashing into Storm 2, and slams it into the saws! BZZZT! Sparks are flying, and Storm 2 gets away from the saws but not from Lime-y! Storm 2 is being carried by Lime-y into-- OH NO, IT WOULDN'T!!!

Oh, that's gonna leave a mark! Storm 2 gets absolutely smoked by the flywheel of King Arthur, and Tracy has a smile of satisfaction on her face. Storm 2 has a small but noticable gash on the side which looks painful... OUCH. The good news is Storm 2 is back on its right side up. It is somewhat limping, probably because that attack by King Arthur caused slight damage the inside of the machine. However, Storm 2 is not really having any problems with speed, as it zooms away to the pit button. Storm 2 presses the pit button now, and the pit opens like a roaring lion, looking for some to devour whole. Storm 2 now slams into Gabriel, and gets underneath! Now it rushes Gabriel towards the pit... will we see a shocking result here...? BUT NO! Gabriel somehow gets itself away from danger! Good defense there by Joey's machine, and the battle continues to rage on! All three robots are doing well here. Storm 2 now gets underneath Lime-y, and slams it into the saws-- BZZZT! That caused very little damage to Lime-y, thankfully. Lime-y gets away from the saws but not from Storm 2! Storm 2 gets under the side of Lime-y and pushes it ever so closer to the pit... but it gets away just in the nick of time-- OH! Gabriel crashes their party, and slams into Storm 2! Now Gabriel gets underneath Storm 2's side somehow, and flips it over onto its back! Now, Lime-y gets underneath Storm 2 and starts carrying it towards the wall! Lime-y tries to get Storm 2 out of the arena--
FLIP!!!
Close but no cigar, as Storm 2 refuses to go over the fence and lands back in the arena on its right side up. Now Jack can't take it anymore so he drives Storm 2 right into Lime-y and starts to shove it towards the pit-- OI! What's this?! Gabriel tries to save Lime-y from danger and crashes into Storm 2's side, and Lime-y drives away from the pit! This is a really good battle in the making here; what great action we're seeing! Now, Gabriel flips Storm 2 onto its back, and Lime-y gets underneath and drags it towards the wall! Will it go out???
FLIP!!!
Aaaaah...! Not quite out, and Storm 2 lands back on its right side up. Storm 2 now puts its pushing power to use again, as it slams into Gabriel and drags it into the capable cutting disc of King Arthur... Gabriel tries to get away...
CRASH!!!
Gabriel gets hit hard by the flywheel and there is damage caused to the armour. It's still able to get away, although it is somewhat limping. Oh, now Lime-y is in trouble from Storm 2! Uh-oh, Lime-y looks like it's going to get the same treatment by King Arthur! This doesn't look good at all, and although Lime-y is trying to get away--
CRASH!!
Yes, it happened anyway. Lime-y is absolutely levelled by that flywheel of King Arthur and tossed onto its back, but it can self-right and get away just like that. All three robots are damaged, it looks like. They all don't seem to be moving very freely... but Storm 2 aggressively slams into Lime-y and starts going towards the pit, taking the Canadian machine with it! Lime-y is trying to get away and Gabriel tries to ram Storm 2... can Storm 2 finish the job... YES! Finally it disposes Lime-y into the pit! BOOM! BUT WAIT! Gabriel is going into Shunt's CPZ and flips Shunt over! Now, Storm 2 barges in on Shunt, and drags it... INTO THE PIT! All three drivers are going nuts in the driver's booths!
CEASE!
Alas, Lime-y has met its fate after a valliant battle.
Storm 2 and Gabriel (10) goes through to Round 2!!!
