And good fights Steve, although I have to talk to Dan about the whole Mark Elam thing now. :proud: I think Dreamcatcher will make it into the final, and Ceros should be fairly easy.

Sorry for the long wait, everyone. Along with the usual procrastination, Ive been having laptop troubles all month. Everything seems in order now though, so lets crack on with Heat H! :)
HEAT H
ROUND 2
SEMI-FINAL 1
DREAMCATCHER Vs SCRAPTOSAUR
House Robots - Cassius Chrome and Sir Killalot
Roboteers, stand by...
3...2...1...
ACTIVATE!
DreamCatcher immediately starts the shell spinning and makes for a fast start, but Scraptosaur is out of its spotlight like a rocket! Daniel tries to manouever away, but the Dutch entry bumps DreamCatcher before its weapon can reach a deadly speed! Scraptosaur is knocked aside, DreamCatchers shell now slowed to a crawl! A worried Dan sends his machine darting up the warzone, Scraptosaur hot on its wheels! Feeling sneaky, Dan brakes, causing Scraptosaur to run straight into the whirling blades! Sparks fly and the Dutch dinosaur is flung away, its flipper now scarred! DreamCatcher tries to get some space to rev up the shell again, but Scraptosaur has recovered quickly! It rams into the Welsh machine, knocking both robots away from each other! With the shell significantly slowed, Scraptosaur charges backwards into DreamCatcher! Another bump, another set of scars, but the shell has been stopped! Daniel desperately tries to get away, but Scraptosaur whirls around and jams its spatula undernearth DreamCatcher! The flipper fires and the deadly dome jumps off the ground... straight back onto its wheels! Relieved, Dan pours on the gas and heads to the bottom of the arena to safety! As the spinning shell gets going again, Scraptosaur charges down the ring after its rival, but a stylish turn away from DreamCatcher causes it to miss! Scraptosaur takes aim for another charge, but by now DreamCatchers shell is but a blur! Bravely/Foolishly, the Dutch dinosaur attacks anyway, determined to stay on the offence!
CRRRASH!
The two newcomers are sent spinning! Scraptosaurs flipper takes the brunt of the collision, the head now sliced and scarred! The Dutch entry has barely gotten moving again when DreamCatcher comes back for another assault!
CRRRASH!
More cuts and bruises, this time on the armouring on the right-hand side! By now, Scraptosaur is starting to look tired! It seems slower as it makes another bid for freedom, but no such luck! Here comes DreamCatcher!
CRRRASH!
Now the spatula has been hit, one corner now bending straight upward! Good lucking flicking anything with that, boys! The flipper fires almost in rage as DreamCatcher deals another blow! The Welsh whirligig is ruthless as it attacks again! And again! And again! Suddenly the hiss of escaping gas pierces the air! Sounds like the flippers CO2 has gone now as DreamCatcher swoops in again! Daniel frowns. Scraptosaur may be bashed and battered, but the old dinosaur wont die! Still clinging to life, the Dutch entry trundles towards the Pit Release Button, possibly hoping to ricochet its rival into the abyss! It doesnt get far though when DreamCatcher, shell now at full speed, comes in for the killing blow!
CRRRASH!
That did the trick! Scraptosaur has stopped in its tracks, looking a very sorry sight! The sides have been dented and slashed and the flipping head looks nothing short of disfigured! Finally relenting, DreamCatcher backs down to let Refbot approach and give the last rights...
1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10!
Scraptosaurs misery isnt quite over yet, though. As the Refs red card flashes, Cassius Chrome bounds out of its corner and starts giving the dead Dutch dinosaur the old one-two with his studded gloves! Content and a little sorry for its fallen foe, DreamCatcher activates the Pit and watches the eager new House Robot wallop Scraptosaur into the garish grave!

Scraptosaur is now extinct! Guess we know who really killed the dinosaurs now! :proud:

To be honest, Ceros flipper never seemed to be much good, and it took an age to return after flipping...DreamCatcher can only lose this via house robots or pit.

Both machines get off to a nippy start. The big question is, can Ceros get a blow on DreamCatcher before the shell gets going? The answer is an unfortunate no. DreamCatcher has darted to the bottom of the warzone and leading Ceros a merry dance as it tries to attack! The shell now whirring pleasantly, Dan puts on the brakes and smashes into Ceros front!
CRRRASH!
The robotic rhinoceros is thrown aside by the might of the spinner, only for DreamCatcher to charge at it again!
CRRRASH!
Dear me, theres a few scars appearing in the titanium armour already! Ceros is a thick-skinned rhino, though, as it charges DreamCatcher! The shell slowed by those previous assaults, Dan tries to manouever away and get up to speed, but Ceros catches up with ease! The blades hit the rhino, but it barely budges as its flipper plate catches one of DreamCatchers blades! The CO2 arm is fired and the Welsh warrior jumps off the ground, nearly toppling onto its back! Instead the dome of doom topples onto its wheels...and on top of Ceros! Dan frantically works the controls trying to get away, but DreamCatcher appears stuck! Taking advantage, Ceros trundles down the arena - wearing its opponent like a hat! - and bumps into the Pit Release Button! Unfortunately that bump is more than enough to shake DreamCatcher loose! As Ceros backs up, the Welsh whirligig zips off of its head and races up the warzone to rev up again! The infuriated Ceros charges after it, but isnt quite fast enough! DreamCatcher is back at full speed and meets its fellow newcomer in the middle of the ring!
CRRRASH!
Ceros is flung away, the flipper raised in a misfire! The robotic rhinoceros barely regains its senses when DreamCatcher blows them away again!
CRRRASH!
Ceros is sent spinning in a burst of CO2! Either the flipper has missed its target a second time or the gas canister has gone! Regardless Ceros is still alive, though increasingly scarred and slashed, and narrowly dodges another attack from DreamCatcher! Its turning doesnt look too smooth as it swings round to face the spinner, however - have the drive motors taken a battering too?
CRRRASH!
DreamCatcher swoops in again and Ceros is knocked away like a pinball! The robotic rhinoceros tries to build up steam for a charge, but there seems to be a problem - its driving around in little circles! It seems there was a problem with the drive motors after all, and that last blow has paralyzed Ceros left side completely! DreamCatcher hangs back, Dan tempted to continue his assault and finish his opponent off. He neednt bother, though, because here comes Refbot to survey the scene. One look at Ceros and its clear the newcomer isnt going anywhere fast. The Ref raises his hand...
1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10!
DreamCatcher spins in delight, making it appear even more hypnotic, as our own big game hunter, Mr Psycho, trundles over to sweep up the mess! Ceros desperately tries to get away, but the House Robots hammer crashes down on its head as easy as shooting fish in a barrel! Dazed and confused, Ceros can only watch in goggle-eyed horror as Mr Psycho grabs the flipping arm and hoists the 98kg beast into the air! The towering tracked terror shows off his latest hunting trophy to the crowd before trundling over to the Pit! Mr P slackens his grip and Ceros is sent tumbling down into the hazard-striped abyss!

Ceros gets poached and mounted on the workshop wall! Anyone want the horn? :proud:

Basically, university this year got intense. Loads of assignments, more lectures and more work, which has resulted in me having virtually no spare time whatsoever. So instead of leaving this to rot, I have decided that I am going to Hypo the whole series UP TO the Grand Final (final four robots). So, here goes nothing... hope you enjoy! :)
VAPOURBOT VENGEANCE - THE ROAD TO GLORY!
Heat A got underway in a blaze of glory, with super-spinner Vader and the pesky feline Pussycat proving to all that real robots really do have the most fun, but it was the vapourbot from Manchester, HOT SAUCE, that proved too hot for its opponents, flipping its way into the semi finals.
In Heat B, things were looking Grim for Barbaric Response and Big Nipper, as Flick of the Wrist pushed and pitted its way to the heat final. Sadly, it wasnt to be for the vapour from Holland, as GRIM REAPER reaped what it sowed, sending Flicky over the fence and out.
Heat C saw the rise and fall of The Stag and Hassocks Hog, but also saw our very first Judges Decision. Axetra was given the chop, as DANTOMKIA soared into the series semis!
Heat D proved to be unlucky for 13 Black and Herbinator, who were smashed, sliced and bewildered by the Aussie Orror, INFUSION, the second vapour to make it through to the semi finals!
In Heat E, Axe-o-Lotl didnt have a lotl lotl laughs, as it was thwacked over and over and over again by the barbers pole, Barberous 2 n a bit. It was reigning champion TORNADO who breezed into the semi finals, pitting Tetanus Booster to claim that coveted place.
Heat F saw spinners and flippers collide, as tenth seed X-Terminator slice and dice its way through the competition. It was no match for the colossus from Cardiff APOCALYPSE, who flipped X-Terminator over, and out!
It was all systems go in Heat G, as Atomic blazed its way through its melee, showing Cygnus X3 and Terror Turtle the outside of the arena. It met its match in the heat semi, however, in the form of WEDGAS REVENGE, who then flipped SMIDSY over the fence!
It was spin to win in Heat H, as the srimech-less DREAMCATCHER span its way into the series semi finals, proving to be a nightmare for Scraptosaur and Ceros!
There were eyes galore in Heat I, as Eye of Ran avenged the Steel Avenger and shredded Shredder Evolution in its opening melee. It then endangered the Rhino in the next round, before succombing to the eye of the STORM II, resulting in the Eye of Ran being pitted.
Heat J saw Thermidor II flip its way into the heat final, giving the claw to Mobot and 8654T 2 in its melee, before getting shredded by eventual heat winner DISCO 5 - the real lord of the dance!
Heat K saw Mantis grapple and claw its way past Jabber and Infernal Contraption in its opening melee, only to be send flying by Heyght in the second round. In the heat final, it was Heyght who lived up to its name, being tossed out of the arena by BULLDOG BREED after a fantastically flipping good battle!
Heat L proved that not only do your robots have to be in top nick, but also your driving! Corkscrew Two having one too many before the show, driving itself into the pit. Deja vu, anyone? :proud: In the second round, Behemoth was outmanouvered and pitted by eventual heat winner SLAMMER, Judge Shred facing the same fate in the heat final.
It was Mmmmmmurder in Heat M, as Tough as Nails quickly dispatched of Disco-Inferno, and Spin Doctor was spun out. Panic Attack was then pitted unceremoniously in the second round, leaving Tough as Nails in the final against the unknown Scot-bot, and eventual heat winner, WEDGE DEVOLUTION, proving that no nail is too tough. Tough as Nails, flipped into Matildas CPZ and left for dead.
Heat N saw many old faces come back... and then very quickly leave! TopBot, ROCS, Neater Machine and Chip all falling foul in the opening melees. In the second round, Dutch entrant Eternia proved too good for the seeded Spawn Again, but superior driving by the RAGING KNIGHTMARE team led them into the series semi finals, Eternia hanging up its clogs!
In our penultimate heat, Canadian entrant Tira IV dished out from disc-usting disc-truction, slashing and slicing Xenomorph and Hammerhead 2 out of the competition. Bigger Brother then flipped Disconstrictor out of the arena, as Tira failed to blow the Typhoon off its deadly warpath. The heat final saw showers of sparks, before a lucky flip saw Typhoon go over on its back, BIGGER BROTHER scraping through to the series semis!
Our final heat, Heat P was double dutch, as Dutch entrants Bamm Bamm were bammed out of the competition, flipped over and then dumped into the pit within seconds of the melee starting! Another Dutch entrant, Flank Attack, squeezed its way past Ripper in the second round, before being out-classed by the veterans FIRESTORM in the heat final!

Flip. It cant self-right, so one flip should do it. If this follows series 7 then I guess Im facing Wedge Devolution or Bulldog Breed in the second round, so just flip them before they flip me :proud:
No worries about the hypo :) and I think that the winners of the other fights will be Tornado, Infusion, Wedge Devo, Firestorm V, Storm II, Disco 5 and Hot Sauce

THE ROAD TO GLORY CONTINUES...
Semi Final One saw crashes and bashes galore, as 8 of the heat winners battled it out for a place in the Grand Final of Vapourbot Vengeance! In the first fight, Tornado rammed and slammed Raging Knightmare around the arena, before being dumped into the pit of oblivion. Dantomkia flipped, fought and frightened Infusion, but electrical problems put the machine from Surrey out of the competition, Infusion from Australia going through. It was a Welsh wonders battle next, as Apocalypse and DreamCatcher met. DreamCatcher got up to speed and hit the Cardiff machine a good few times, but a lack of a srimech and a fantastically timed flip from Liam Eliot sent DreamCatcher on its back - it€™s dreams dashed! Our final round one fight saw Bulldog Breed and Wedge Devolution tussle in a flipping good battle. Both machines had the upper hand at some point in the battle, but it was Wedge Devolution who managed to flip the dog out of the arena, Bulldog Breed being put down for good!
In round two, Tornado slammed the Aussie Infusion around the arena walls and into Sgt Bash€™s CPZ, but it was not enough to win - Infusion getting its wedge underneath the side of Tornado and using it€™s kinetic torque to drive Tornado into the pit, nearly following it in too! In the other battle, it was Wales v Scotland, as Apocalypse signalled the end of the world for Wedge Devolution, the machine from Wales winning a narrow Judge€™s Decision, 105 to 102 points!
Semi Final Two was not a walk in the park for the other 8 heat winners, as they too grappled and tackled each other to win one of only two places in the Grand Final! Veterans FireStorm breezed through its opening fight, slamming Alex Holt€™s Slammer into the arena wall and out of the arena. Storm II joined them in the second round, beating Grim Reaper on a Judge€™s Decision. Bigger Brother failed to live up to the family name, as damage sustained in it€™s heat final battle against Typhoon 2 left it at the mercy of Disco 5, a single flip was all it took as a loose CO2 valve left Bigger Brother on its back and unable to self right. The final round one battle saw Manchester€™s Hot Sauce against Lincoln€™s own Wedga€™s Revenge. Both machines managed to get their own back on the House Robots, but it wasn€™t enough for Hot Sauce, who proved too mild in the arena€¦ and out of it - courtesy of a sky high flip from Wedga€™s Revenge!
In the second round of this semi final, FireStorm got underneath Storm II again and again and again, but failed to capitalise on it - the match ending with FireStorm being outpushed by Storm 2, and pushed out of the competition The other battle saw Disco 5 dance its way around Wedga€™s Revenge, the latter being pitted by the machine from Essex!

Tactics are to flip it over and let it chew up the floor with the disc. Manueovrability wont be very good with 0 clearance at the front and rear, so getting to the sides should be fairly easy. If I can get it on the barbs and then over the fence, conserving gas by not flipping when Im in the centre of the arena and only when I get to the side or the pit

From Australia€¦ Infusion!
House Robots: Matilda and Shunt
3€¦2€¦1€¦ACTIVATE!
And it€™s go! go! go! as Storm II immediately powers towards the Aussie Infusion and aims to get underneath the front wedge. Infusion, however, has other plans, as instead of moving towards its opponent continues to stay in its starting position - the spinning outer ring whirring manically and causing the dust on the arena floor to blow wildly. Storm II gets nearer and nearer Infusion, and eventually slams head first into the front wedge€¦ but fails to get underneath, instead the impact sending both machines recoiling backwards. Infusion begins to start its attack - moving towards Storm II, who is recovering from the first collision, and aims to get the front wedge underneath the side skirts. Storm II, however, quickly speeds up and comes in for another smash on Infusion - this time breeching the front wedge and sending the machine from Down Under into the arena wall! The plexiglass wall of the arena shudders wildly, but withstands the colossal impact! Aaron Knight frantically drives Infusion away from the arena wall, the spinning rim already rotating at its top speed, but Storm II comes in once again for a slam. This time, however, it€™s Infusion who comes out on top - some dodgy driving by the Storm II team sends their machine careering into the arena wall, with a quick-thinking Aaron Knight reversing Infusion into its opponent. The noise of metal on metal fills the air, as the side panel of Storm II is scratched ferociously, as if a wildcat had attacked it! Aaron reverses again, but Storm II nimbly gets out of dangers way and propels itself towards the pit release button, Matilda looking on curiously from her CPZ. The siren whirrs out, as Infusion gives chase to Storm II, the latter of the too machines having the edge in the speed department. Storm II speedily turns on the spot and drives straight towards Infusion, once again getting underneath the front Hardox wedge of the Aussie machine and slamming it into the arena side wall. The plexiglass wobbles once more, and remains in one piece. Storm II begins to use it€™s Biohazard style lifter to prop Infusion against the wall - but fails in doing so, Infusion falling off the lifter and onto the arena floor, immediately spinning its rim once again to cause damage to the bot from Ipswich. Aaron drives the wedge of Infusion underneath the side skirts of Storm II and manages to get 3 of the Vulcalon-coated wheels off the arena floor. Storm II spins its wheels madly, hoping to get enough traction on the arena floor to get it off the front wedge - the screech of rubber on the arena floor flooding the arena! Aaron carefully manoeuvres Infusion and it€™s prey towards the pit, but Storm II is gaining more and more grip on the floor, as it nearly manages to get itself off the front wedge of Infusion. The machines get nearer and nearer the pit, but with every bump and jolt Infusion has on the arena floor, Storm Ii is closer to getting off the wedge. The wheels whirr hectically, as if finally gets enough grip on the arena floor to drive off the wedge€¦ and into the pit! The puff of smoke rising from the pit signals to Aaron that after all that - he is into the Vapourbot Vengeance Grand Final!
Storm II blew that fight, didn€™t it! :proud:

House Robots: Dead Metal and Sgt Bash wearing a tinsel scarf€¦ because even House Robots can be festive! :proud:

Almost immediately, Apocalypse storms out from its starting position and heads straight towards Disco 5, whose rear vertical disc is rotating madly, the blades becoming nothing but blurs! Disco 5 moves forwards and crashes straight into the charging Apocalypse, the latter riding up the front wedge of Disco 5 and getting flipped over by the front forward-hinged flipper. Apocalypse is turned over but self rights effortlessly in a split second thanks to its high pressured pneumatic flipper. Liam goes back on the attack and drives Apocalypse into the side of Disco 5, aiming to get underneath the Titanium skirts. The tactic works, as Disco 5 is launched skywards, spinning erratically through the air before landing back onto the arena floor with a huge clunk, the titanium armouring of the Essex-based bot bruised, but not broken. Disco 5, who has finally come to a stop on its back, swiftly self rights, only for Apocalypse to crash into it once again. Another flip from Apocalypse sends Disco 5 rolling over onto its wheels, Martyn quickly driving his machine away from any immediate danger to get the rear disc spinning up. Apocalypse give chase, hoping to get the ferocious flipper underneath Disco 5 once more and end this battle. The flipper gets nearer and nearer Disco 5 as the gap closes, but it€™s Disco 5 who ends up taking advantage! A swift reversing move by Disco 5 sends the flipper of Apocalypse up Disco 5€™s rear skirt and straight into the path of the spinning disc. Sparks fly as the impact of disc and flipper sends Apocalyse over onto its back, only for Disco 5 to carry on the attack, continuing to reverse into it€™s opponent. Liam Eliot activates Apocalypse€™s flipper in order to self right, which it does in superb style one must say, but ends up landing straight onto the disc of Disco 5, the vertical spinner ripping through the 4mm Aluminium baseplate of the Welsh machine. Disco 5 continues to reverse it€™s disc into Apocalypse, the disc sending shards of Aluminium upwards into the air, littering the arena. Liam fires the flipper again in pure desperation in order to get Apocalypse off Disco€™s disc, but it is well and truly stuck, as Disco 5 slams Apocalypse into the arena side wall, narrowly missing the pit release button as it does so. There is nowhere for Apocalypse to go but upwards, as the disc of Disco 5 continues to spin - albeit much much slower than usually - lifting Apocalypse slowly into the air, getting ever so near the top of the arena wall. Dead Metal charges across from its CPZ and slams into Disco 5, sending Martyn€™s machine away from the arena wall and towards the centre of the arena, the charge from the House Robot sending Apocalypse - who was practically on top of the arena wall - over the other side and out!
Apocalypse signalled the end of the world for itself€¦ IRONY!! :proud:

128 machines started on this epic quest for robot domination, after 16 heats and 2 semi finals (and one huge hypo :proud: ) we are down to our final 2. They have smashed and crashed, battered and bruised, slammed and whammed their way to this: the grand final of Vapourbot Vengeance. Before the final battle commences, let€™s see how both of these mechanical marauders made it this far:
INFUSION span its way through Heat D, dispatching Herbinator and 13 Black in its opening melee, before bringing Gravity back to Earth with a bump, finally sending Lightning out of the competition in a flash! In the Semi Finals, it sliced open veterans Dantomkia and dumped Tornado into the pit. In order to make it this far, Infusion signalled the end for Storm II by causing a hurricane of its own, the sixteenth seeds dumped haphazardly into the pit.
We first saw DISCO 5 in Heat J, where it did a dance of death with The Kraken and Cobra in its opening melee. In round 2 it sent Thermidor 2 back to the murky depths, eventually sending Mighty Mouse home with its tail between its legs! In the Semi Finals, it got lucky against the badly damaged Bigger Brother, and then showed Wedga€™s Revenge the old one-two-step: step one, hit the pit release button, step two, get pushed into the pit! It€™s last battle was against the impressive Apocalypse, who after a tight battle, was eventually sent OOTA courtesy of Disco 5 (and a little help from Dead Metal! :proud: )
Before we get onto the main event, I would like to thank everyone who entered for making this a truly unique tournament. 16 vapourbots joined the 112 real fighting machines in order to see who would triumph in the end - realies or vapours! As is custom in large tournaments, I have constructed my very own Vapourbot Vengeance Awards! :proud:
MOST ORIGINAL ENTRY
There can only be one winner of this, in my opinion: one vapourbot truly outshined all in the originality department. As well as being original, it proved to be a winning design - making the semi finals! Congratulations, SLAMMER VI! :proud:
BEST OVERALL DESIGN
Any designer that can truly acknowledge the strengths of others and use them to build a superb winning design should be credited, in my opinion. And that€™s what Liam did - he saw how Mute€™s barbs could be made even more effective when teamed with a rear-hinged flipper and ended up with a phenomenal design. WTG APOCALYPSE! :proud:
BEST ENGINEERED AWARD
Only a complete madman could take a spinning rim weapon and use it to increase his design€™s acceleration. :proud: Congrats INFUSION!
SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
This award goes to someone who basically nagged me and moaned at me on MSN to get this tournament back on track, and to be honest I am glad he did. The last 3 battles I have done (yes, I am writing this after the Grand Final! :proud: ) have probably been the ones I have enjoyed writing the most. If it wasn€™t for this bloke, then the tournament would have been left to rot. Huge thanks to JOEY MCCONNELL! :proud:

House Robots: Cassius Chrome and Mr Psyduck€¦ I mean Psycho. :proud:

And they are off! The disc of Disco 5 and the spinning rim of Infusion already whirring menacingly as these two mechanical gladiators combat for one last time to discover who is the greatest of them all! Infusion charges towards the front wedge of Disco 5, aiming to get underneath it with its own thick, Hardox wedge. Disco 5 turns slowly, bringing the spinning blade and rear skirt into play, forcing Infusion up and into the path of the disc. The front wedge bears the impact, as a huge CLANK fills the air, the disc of Disco 5 stopped. Martyn reverses his machine - hoping to repeat his winning formula from his last battle against Apocalypse, but Aaron second-guesses this and does his own bit of reversing: the spinning rim of Infusion flicking debris off the arena floor and smacking them into the side walls. Disco 5 gets its disc back up to full speed, but not before Infusion slams into the Titanium side of Disco 5 with the spinning rim - sparks engulfing Infusion as Disco 5 is spun away on impact. Martyn regains his composure and drives his machine towards Infusion, this time breeching the front Hardox wedge and getting the Aussie machine onto its own wedged front. Disco 5 turns towards Mr Psycho€™s CPZ, the evil glare of the House Robot focussing on the next robot to be its prey - Infusion! Aaron tried helplessly to get his machine off the front wedge of Disco 5, but the 12.5mph top speed of Disco 5 means that both robots are on the edge of the CPZ in no time. Mr Psycho lunges for Infusion, but misses, a flip from Disco 5 pushing a now overturned Infusion further into the dreaded CPZ. Mr Psycho trundles backwards into his CPZ, hoping to get his claws on Infusion, but Aaron has other plans, as he too reverses backwards€¦ into Psycho! The rubber tracks of the enormous House Robot are shredded almost instantly, the tremendous power in Infusion€™s spinning rim making mincemeat out of them! With Psycho out of the picture, Infusion goes back on the attack against Disco 5, the wedge now useless, but the spinning rim isn€™t! Another slam into the side of Disco 5 completely rips off one of the skirts, the skirt send flailing towards the other side of the arena, eventually coming to a stop near the flame pit. Martyn is furious, as he swiftly turns Disco 5 towards Infusion, getting it up on the front wedge once again. Disco 5 steers itself towards the arena side wall, and fires the front-hinged flipper once again. The spinning rim of Infusion chews the arena floor as it gets propped against the arena wall. The spinning rim gets slower and slower until it comes to a complete stop! Infusion is now helpless: not one of its wheels can gain any purchase in order for it to move - the spinning rim remaining static and unable to aid Infusion in getting off the arena wall! Refbot comes along and examines the situation, before starting the crucial countdown! 10 goes to 9, as Aaron frantically wiggles the controls, but to no avail. 8,7 and 6 come and go, as a wry smile begins to appear on Martyn Forsyth€™s face. 5, 4, 3: Cassius Chrome waits patiently next to Refbot, waiting for the end of the road for Infusion. 2 - the audience whoop and cheer, as the timer ticks to 1, a new champion as been crowned! Disco 5! For Infusion, the true pain is only now beginning, as the flying fists of fury from Cassius Chrome whack and thwack the machine from Down Under. Disco 5 spins in delight!
Infusion needs an oil transfusion after that one! :proud:
