in all fairness Mark, just starting a new tournament may not help much, youre very inexperienced I dont think you get everything right by simply opening a new thread.
Go the the how to improve-thread for advice, once you gained enough of that you might be able to pull off a tournament, it worked wonders for Liam :wink:
Yeah Mark, Martijns right.I started just as badly as you, but I now have a successful tournament under my belt and my second, even more successful one is drawing to a close.

I would like each roboteer to use at least 3 machines in this competition, but if you have less than 3, just use the ones you have.
Clusterbots are allowed, but they have a limit of 5 parts at max.
wheeled robots have a max of 100kg
tracked robots have a max of 110kg
shuffling robots have a max of 150kg
true walking robots have a max of 200kg
Flying bots are not allowed.
What will round 1 be like?

What will round 3 be like?

Mark, look in Crash and Burn or Martijns tournament to see what a decent introduction looks like.

Andre, if Spinalot is a near exact copy of Tornado Mer, you can use a 6-Magmotor Gearbox, which is the most powerful weapon motor to date.

I think itd be better if you lowered your ambitions considerably...64 robots is too many. And by too many I mean that you are being delusional, especially after all thats happened.
Id go for something a lot smaller, with AT THE ABSOLUTE MOST 16 robots, with eight being ideal. And dont take peoples vapours without asking, even if they have qualified. Youre not supposed to be making their decisions for them.
Ill try 32 robots.

Sun of Rippo and Son of Ripper are two completely different vapourbots. Both of them are comedy bots, with Son of Ripper being the slightly more serious one. :wink: Being as I entered Sun of Rippo, you can gladly use that... although that was when the rules stated we could make everything up. If you are looking for a real vapourbot to enter the tournament, it is probably best to start from scratch. I dont think anyone really understands what is going on here at the moment.
AJ, do you think you could replace Son of Rippo with Son of Ripper?
