A reason? Just one? :proud:
And YAY, I BEAT WEDGINATOR! Good fights Kody and Paul.
TICTACS:
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus vs. FIRE AND ICE
Tornado vs. WBC springs to mind here. Basically avoid the flipper, which shouldnt be too hard because of the shape, and ram it around a lot, hopefully into the walls and then the pit.
Good luck, Chris :)
Eye Of The Robot-Series 4
you DO know how to write a battle by now Paul, cant deny that
Killotine: EVO (3) vs. Ramthrax 2 (6)
TOUGH matchup, very though. Ramthrax biggest defense lies in its scoop, but Killotine wont hit the scoop, itll hit the top! Killotine can clamp and take control, but Ramthrax has the power to take away all the breathing space from Killotine.
Too hard to call :proud:.
Die-Ceratops ReInvertus (23) vs. Fire And Ice
I agree with Joeys Tornado vs WBC analogue. Fire and Ice can be a pain in Die-Ceratops *** forever and Die-Ceratops lacks the shape to get out of danger quick enough.
Eye Of The Robot-Series 4
Ill get you next time Joey. NEXT TIME!!! :proud::proud::proud:
Wow! Nicer battles than before, Paul! Starting to relent...heres hoping you can keep this up! And you said you needed tactics...
Killotine: EVO (3) vs. Ramthrax 2 (6)
Tough, this, but I think Ramthraxs exposed wheels may be the clincher here.
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus (23) vs. Fire And Ice
A shock exit for Die-Ceratops, methinks.
Eye Of The Robot-Series 4
Ive had little in the way of tactics, but as Kody put it, tactics help but they arent needed. So here we are, trying to find out which 2 of these 4 robots will qualify for the series Grand Final. So lets kick it off!
ROUND FIVE:
Killotine: EVO (3) vs. Ramthrax 2 (6)
Die-Ceratops ReInvertus (23) vs. Fire And Ice
KILLOTINE: EVO vs. RAMTHRAX 2
Booth #1: Steven M
Booth #2: Alex H

Ramthrax charges from the starting line, but Killotine is now quickly gaining ground to smash head-on into the Doomforall robot! The duo both slam into contact, as Killotine€™s frontal wedge gets just under the concave front of Ramthrax! Steven then instantly slams down the point of the axe! Instantly, then Titanium bodywork proves no match for the axe, and Steven now has Ramthrax in his clutches! Alex is trying to break loose, and slams all the power down inside his rammer, AND WE SEE THAT RAMTHRAX IS PUSHING KILLOTINE BACK! The axe robot retracts his axe and brings it down again, but Alex and turned to the side, as he knows the power held inside the axe! Side-on now, the two now break into a dance, trying to get themselves facing the opponent€™s sides! AND KILLOTINE IS WINNING IN THAT FIGHT! And he€™s side-on now - and he€™s now got the perfect chance to smash in with the axe€¦AND DOWN IT SLAMS! The axe slams into the scoop of it, and the weapon is now jammed in between the front of Ramthrax! Steven is trying to push Ramthrax across the arena, but he€™s only so much as nudging him along - TOWARDS THE PIT RELEASE BUTTON! Killotine€™s axe is inching its way free, and hit against the wall has knocked it free! Alex spins his robot around and lands facing Killotine from the side, and the power is put down straight away by all 6 of the wheels on Ramthrax! Killotine goes flying into the arena wall! And both machines recoil, and we notice something about Killotine€™s bodywork - there€™s a dent in it! Steven notices and drives into the front again! The axe hits in, another hole, but Ramthrax still has traction and Steven realises this as Killotine flies back€¦BANG! Both robots hit the wall, hard, and now Killotine: EVO brings down the axe once more, this time onto the wheels!
10€¦9€¦8€¦
Pieces of rubber fly off in all directions as the Hardox point makes contact against the tyre!
€¦7€¦6€¦5€¦
Ramthrax spins away from another income of axe, and quickly ends side-on once more to Killotine before lifting him and ploughing him INTO THE PIT RELEASE BUTTON!
€¦4€¦3€¦
Killotine quickly dodges, with another dent and he brings the axe down, and€¦NO! The side panel has fallen off Ramthrax!
€¦2€¦1€¦CEASE!!
What a battle - and its for a Grand Final seat as well. Too close to call, so the judges will decide who wins through to the Grand Final. Can Killotine knock up 3 wins in a row against Ramthrax or will Alex finally get revenge?
JD - The scores:
Dominance: Both robots had moments when one was more dominating than the other, but Ramthrax seemed to have slightly more dominance
Killotine: EVO (3): 6 x 6 = 36
Ramthrax 2 (6): 8 x 6 = 48
Damage: Killotine claims the majority of the damage done, but the dents in the Scot armour earn Ramthrax some points.
Killotine: EVO (3): 9 x 5 = 45
Ramthrax 2 (6): 3 x 5 = 15
Aggression: Ramthrax seemed to have a lot more aggression in this fight, but Killotine showed some aggression as well.
Killotine: EVO (3): 5 x 4 = 20
Ramthrax 2 (6): 9 x 4 = 36
Strategy: Both robots didn€™t show much strategy, except Ramthrax seemed a bit more able to carry it out.
Killotine: EVO (3): 6 x 3 = 18
Ramthrax 2 (6): 9 x 3 = 27
Control: Ramthrax showed better controlling skills, but Killotine did dodge a few good attacks.
Killotine: EVO (3): 6 x 2 = 12
Ramthrax 2 (6): 9 x 2 = 18
Style: Killotine had WAY more style than Ramthrax did.
Killotine: EVO (3): 9 x 1 = 9
Ramthrax 2 (6): 5 x 1 = 5
Totals:
Killotine: EVO (3): 140
Ramthrax 2 (6): 149
Unbelievable!! Alex gets to taste the sweetness of revenge as the win in this fight goes to RAMTHRAX 2!
Result:
Killotine: EVO (3) has been executed at the guillotine!!

The traction on board Fire And Ice allow it instantly to move away from the starting line! Die-Ceratops is following at a slightly slower pace but it was a pace nonetheless, and the two meet each other nose-to-nose€¦FIRE AND ICE IS UNDERNEATH! The pure power coming from those LEMs at 36V onto those high-traction tracks are enough to instantly slam back the awesome flipper of Suffolk! Die-Ceratops leaps into the air on impact, sparks flying off as well from the diamond-tipped saw at the front! Die-Ceratops lands and reverses away from Fire-And Ice before it attempts another onslaught€¦AND IT CHARGES IN AGAIN! The speed and power of Fire And Ice seems to be annoying the flipper quite badly and now the powerful robot drives in and hits the pit release button! Joey now drives in to try and get a simple push into the pit, and drives into Die-Ceratops, BUT CHRIS DRIVES UNDER FIRE AND ICE! The flipper on Die-Ceratops activates, and the rammer spins in 3 complete spins in the arena atmosphere, before landing with a crash ONTO DIE-CERATOPS€™ FLIPPER! And another flip and more spins in the air and more crashes onto the Steel and Hardox floor! Fire And Ice now seems to have landed against the sides of Die-Ceratops, AND NOW RAMS UNDER, SPARKS FLYING! As the sparks fly, we see the fast moving rammer speeding across the arena and hitting Die-Ceratops DOWN THE PIT! Die-Ceratops lays smoking in a heap, while Fire And Ice spins in the middle of the ring, having made it to the Grand Final!
Result:
Die-Ceratops ReInvertus (23) is now extinct!!

Welcome the Hindu god of destruction and last series€™ god of winning! Kali is inspired in its design by Storm 2, and its obvious in its 6 Vulcanised wheels powered by the classic 2 x LEM130€™s at 36V, allowing nothing but pure power and traction. However, this robot has a BioHazard style lifting arm, powered by high-pressure CO2! The flipper is capable of flipping a great deal, and has an ultra low extension plate to get under almost any form of skirting. To add to the strong package, it€™s made stronger by the ABC armour, 5mm on the sides and rear, enforced to 1cm at the front, with 15mm Polycarbonate on top, which is good, but an axe could damage the top armour quite badly!
In E.O.T.R 1: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 2: Made a mark in Round One of the heat against 5th seed Terrorhurtz and newcomer BOTCG, who was flipped around the arena by Kali and hammered by Terrorhurtz. Eventually, BOTCG went OOTA, as did its Round Two obstacle 21st seed Clawdius Decimus Murderous, and he went out quite quickly! Terrorhurtz causes major damage to the top armour in the Heat Final, but Kali got around the rear, and pushed and flipped, sending Terrorhurtz OOTA as well, and sending himself into the semis! ForcePower Turbo was a hassle in the first Round of the semis, but also went the same way as all those before. But in Round Five, 10th seed Leprosy Infection escaped the OOTA, and jammed up Kali€™s armour against its wheels, leaving the god of destruction€¦destroyed.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 8) Started off in similar fashion to the last series, when drawn against the deadly Infusion Helix and MegaByte. Kali took a bit of damage, but quickly flipped out MegaByte, despite losing a panel. It was quickly fixed, and quickly finished off Back To Rock 3 via OOTA as well. In the Heat Final, it took on 24th seed Metal Sonic Spin Dash, who didn€™t pose a problem, but Kali couldn€™t finish him off! Nevertheless, a completely unanimous Judges Decision put Kali into the semis once more! A good newcomer, Fick Me 4-3, was flipped over once, twice and thrice, and even more times before it was sent down the pit! In the Quarters against twice runner-up and 2nd seed Storm 2, we saw Kali on the ropes for the first time in the series, mostly at the beginning when it nearly got pitted, but Alex literally pushed to claim a Judges Decision, but only just. In the final 4, Eternia, the robot responsible for finishing off the favourites for contest, was quickly disposed of by Kali via OOTAing - Kali was in the final! In that final, we thought we were in for a shock when Wedginator 6.0 thrust him all over the arena, but in the closing seconds of the battle and series, Kali pushed him to the edge and just flipped him out the ring just in time to claim the Hardox Cup!
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 1) Had an easy way through Round One with the help of newcomer Gabriel V1.2, who helped Kali in taking out Bulldog Breed, before Kali flipped the dog out the ring, but was then the victim of an unprovoked by Gabriel! But it soon found its title under threat from Seung Mina, who nearly threw the champ out the ring, but Kali soon backed it up against the wall, given the Canadian the humiliation of flipping itself out! In the Heat Final, annoyance came in the form of a promising Gabriel, who looked on top for a bit, but Kali pulled back and hit in, flipped again and again until Gabriel was OOTA!
+1>From Holland, seeded #27, Back To Rock 3!!

Rocking all over the world is the robot that€™s Back To Rock! A very unique shape this one is which is a box with a scoop at the front and a rounded back. The front is higher than the back and has an €œarc€ like for more efficient self-righting. For movement it has 6 wheels, about 12 cm diameter powered by 2 x LEM130€™s at 48V, which can provide the standard LEM130 with even more power, so it has 24hp and plenty of torque at 15mph! The weapon on this thing is a big rear-hinged lifting arm powered by a single LEM130 at 36 V, which a €˜rack-and-pinion€™ mechanism. A pinion around the LEM€™s axle moves up a rack that€™s joint to the lifter about halfway its length. The fancy part is that this runs through a gearbox, with 2 gears. One gear is for powerful and controlled lifting and moves up the arm in about 2-3 seconds, another gear is for quick self-righting and moves up the arm in 1 second. It also has a saw-blade which is part of the lifter, powered by a Magmotor that allows the scoop to keep the opponent in line. The side ground clearance of 5mm is protected by 7mm Titanium skirts. The only issues with this design is that the 7mm Titanium armour may be fodder to more powerful spinning weapons and that it€™s easily flipped.
In E.O.T.R 1: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 2: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 3: Started off promisingly by helping to pit Iron Awe 2.1 with ease along with 24th seed Metal Sonic Spin Dash, but soon enough the hopes of a good run were dampened by 8th seed and eventual champion Kali, who used its super-low blade to scoop up Back To Rock, carry him to the edge and just toss it out in a single flip.
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 27) Started off in battle with 2 realies - Gravity and Tazbot. Back To Rock just shoved them around until Tazbot was finished off my Gravity€™s flipper and the outside of the ring. Crash Bandi-Bot 3 was next up and it was instantly shoved straight against the wall, and then down the pit, and that was a similar journey in the Heat Final against Gravity when the flipper couldn€™t get under and soon found itself in the pit!

In a flash, we see Kali storming across the arena into the scoop of Back To Rock, on which we can both see and hear the blade spinning around! Kali hits into it, but Martijn slams on the reverse button, and quickly uses all his traction to avoid Kali making a push towards the edge! Back To Rock makes a nifty J turn to end up right behind Kali AND PUSHES FORWARD! The blade digs into the rear bodywork of Kali, as the Champion is pinned against the wall! A flip from the CO2 powered flipper allows for Kali to gain a bit of space to breath and to turn and hit into the front once more€¦and Kali€™s wedge slips under€¦FLIP! Back To Rock goes spinning into the air in a blur and crashes back down. Kali storms in once again, but Back To Rock€™s awesome self-righting speed prevents Kali from taking advantage. Martijn now goes for the sides of Kali, and spins up to it, but Alex has seen this plan and spins around, and once again ploughs the wedge under and PERFORMS ANOTHER GOOD FLIP! Back To Rock spins over and seems to land flat on its back, but a quick snap from the rack-and-pinion powered weapon puts it back on its wheels and Kali is now powering in and underneath once more, but is still pushing on, and FLIPS! Back To Rock barrels into the side of the ring, and seems to land on the sidewall! Martijn is now constantly firing the weapon trying to get down€¦HE€™S DONE IT! But Kali hits in again and flips once more, and once again Back To Rock lands on the walls again! Martijn once again fires the weapon, and it slides off€¦ONTO KALI€™S FLIPPER! Is it 3rd time lucky, as the flipper€¦YES! Out goes Back To Rock! Kali reverses into the ring, celebrating another OOTA and another victory!
Result:
Back To Rock 3 (27) has to go Back To the drawing board!
KALI (1) GOES THROUGH TO ROUND 5!!!

There€™s a Storm brewing! The robot is nothing special - box-shaped, 25mph top speed, low front, until you get underneath and find all the working, and its 18hp drive and Vantec speed controller, designed to help all 6 Vulcanised wheels put the power down, and help use the seriously thick Titanium armour on the front (12mm) and sides (6mm) and a S28-150 Magmotor powered lifter. The front of the robot is a box at 42*, allowing for it to be easy to deflect spinner hits and get under other robots. On the side to prevent got under itself are 2 Torsion-sprung skirts that run completely flushed to the ground making it near impossible to get under from the sides! The only problem with this whole design may be the difficulty with getting under things.
In E.O.T.R 1: Teamed up in Round One with Shovearound 2 to help it remove ForcePower Turbo from the competition via a JD 13-29-33. Clawdius Decimus Murderous may have been a worthy opposition, but damage sustained from Round One made it easily for Storm 2 to place it on its back and then drive it straight down the pit. In the Heat Final, Storm 2 went up against Leprosy Infection, who caused a bit of damage to Storm 2, but Storm 2 was good enough, just to win a JD with a score of 38-37. Storm 2 then got to meet Typhoon 2, the machine who robbed Storm 2 in the Grand Final of RW7. Storm 2 got revenge by surviving the blows of the FBS and then tipped it over! In the next round, it was tricky as Y4 flipped it about and Terrorhurtz axed in, until Y4 was pitted and Terrorhurtz was rammed out! It was in the Grand Final, where it fought brilliantly against Killotine: EVO, but Killotine fought back and immobilised one half of Storm 2, making Storm settle for the Titanium cup!
In E.O.T.R 2: (SEEDED 2) . It did well in round one, where it shoved around both Insectide and PRP, before balancing Insectide on its side, leaving it for the count. In the second round, it got a scare when Bigger Brother nearly pitted it, and then stacked it against the wall! Storm 2 recovered from that to win on a JD 42-33. If it was failing then, it wasn€™t in the heat final against 18th seed MORD2, where he shoved it everywhere, and soon down the pit to complete the semi-final line-up! In that first semi-final round, it got Push-Ish, a robot with much more power than Storm 2, but Storm proved to have greater traction and control and soon confined him to the pit. In Round Five, Storm 2 was drawn against Wedge Devolution and they had a closely contested fight, involving flips, rams, pushes, and loads of flying, and involved Storm 2 almost flying OOTA. But still, the fight ended with a JD, which just went in Storm 2€™s favour 38-37. Then he faced off once more with 10th seed Leprosy Infection, and Storm 2 saw problems once more, but was able to stack Leprosy upon the wall, immobilising it and qualifying once for the Grand Final! The battle against 8th seed Whirligig 4.0 was a violent and close battle, but Storm 2 died in the final moments, making Storm 2 once again settle for runners-up.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 2) Once again set off on a storming course in the heats, as it rammed around the two real crushers of Razer and Mantis, but Razer fell down the pit first, putting the seed and Mantis into the second round, where Storm 2 was fighting against its vapourbot clone, Cyclone Force 2.5, armed with its claws. Storm 2 and Cyclone Force had a great shoving match, until the claws on Cyclone Force got caught in the wall! That meant Storm moved on to have another match with 18th seed Terrorhurtz, and despite taking numerous axe hits, Terrorhurtz was slammed into the corner and once again ejected from the ring! B2B, a promising newcomer, was up in Round Four and flipped Storm 2 over a total of 8 times, but Storm 2 was able to use the flipper spikes to right itself and pit B2B! And then came a thriller of a Round Five battle against 8th seed Kali, who was almost pitted by Storm 2, but the eventual champion Kali quite literally pushed back and shocked the crowd by keeping Storm 2 away from another final.
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 4) Survived the repeated attacks of Killobite 5.0 and its crusher before finally condemning the American Humdrum to the pit before a complete clean sweep win over the ancient Flipping Mad B2B - ramming it around until the Judges could take no more and allowed Storm 2 the win! In the Heat Final, Killobite 5.0 worried Storm 2 once more, but the 4th seed got underneath in the end and slammed Killobite down the hole!

A robot with a surreal name is a robot with a real chance of winning. It may win through using its highly effective wedge-shape to help bring his front-hinged, high pressure C02 flipper, powered by two rams running at 500psi into play! The motors in this thing are 2 x S28-150 Magmotors running at 24V to give 12hp and a speed of great pace - 18mph! The 2 Vulkalon wheels provide ultimate traction and the 7mm Titanium armour is quite good, but not great and may fall to some of the arena hazards!

In Round Two, we saw an unbelievable shock, as 15th seed Flick Of The Wrist bossed Cat With Wheels around the arena, pressed the pit release button, but as it was about to ram Cat With Wheels down the pit, the flying Dutchman drove over the wedge and fell in instead! However, Cat With Wheels wasn€™t going to get passed Cyclone Force 2.5 without a struggle, until the vapourbot Storm-lookalike was stacked against the side, putting Cat With Wheels into Round Two!

The 4 extra wheels on Storm 2 allow the powerful realie to storm off instantly! Cat With Wheels comes forward and hits the front-wedge of Storm, as Storm gets just underneath to push it back slightly. Danny is now shifting his design slightly to see where he can gain a grip on Storm 2€¦HE HITS TO THE SIDES! Storm is now having the tabby-cat coloured machine bashing it again. Storm 2 seems to still have traction on the floor, which seems to help him in spinning away from danger! Cat With Wheels stops pushing, and keeps Storm 2 spinning ASND NOW PUSHING INTO THE SKIRTS! Cat With Wheels gets under and now pushes underneath the rammer, but its flipper isn€™t far enough underneath to get Storm on its back€¦BUT CAT WITH WHEELS HAS DRIVEN OVER THE FLIPPING SPIKES! The Bedford contest is sent spinning unstably on the floor, and Storm 2 has taken complete advantage of this! The wedge is underneath Cat With Wheels and he slams the wedge against the wall! The wedge flies through the air, and lands once more on the rammers wedge! The lifting arm comes into play and lifts the Cat onto its back, but as we all know, Cat€™s always land on their feet, and this is proved as the Cat bounces up and lands right on its wheels! Storm 2 speeds in again, but Danny pushes on - and he€™s under AND HE€™S FLIPPED STORM 2 OVER! Now Ed and Martijn know they have an inverted wedge - no good against a flipper! Storm 2 spins around wildly, struggling to get used to being inverted€¦and Cat With Wheels hitting in once more hasn€™t helped! Danny is underneath the real-rammer once more, and shoving it against the wall! Against the wall, Danny fires off the Cat€™s weapon - and now Storm 2 is stuck on the wall! The stacked robot puts the power down€¦AND STORM IS OFF THE WALL! And now Storm 2 is the right way up! Cat With Wheels goes in again, but has hit the skirts and now rides up the wedge! The lifting arm has come into play, and we see the Cat being raised off the ground, AND SLAMMED INTO THE WALL! The Cat lands on its back, and the self-righter comes into the play, but Storm comes in again AND HAS NOW HIT CAT WITH WHEELS AGIANST THE WALL WITH THE SELF-RIGHTER OPENED! Cat With Wheels has its flipper open, and can€™t retract it seems to be stuck! Storm 2 opens the lifter, and Ed and Martijn high-five each other, as the count begins!

Straight into the pit release button, SLAMMING into the button! Storm is still on the wedge, AND NOW CAT WITH WHEELS TURNS AROUND TO GET A LINE ON THE PIT! Cat With Wheels inches forward€¦and flips! BOOM! Storm 2 goes down!
Danny believes he€™s won, but we now that Cat With Wheels was counted out before Storm€™s pitting, so€¦

Welcome the anti-spinner spinner. It has 4 wheels inside on a skid steer, powered by 2 750 watt Bosch wiper motors at 24V giving 18mph. The armour on top is 4mm Titanium, but to defend it form FBS€™s, it has a ring of Vulkalon rubber around the edge of it, which spins when hit, dispersing the energy from FBS€™s hits as heat and sound, thus making impervious to other FBS€™s and other horizontal spinners. The spinning shell is powered by a 6€ Magmotor, giving a kilojoules rating of 80kj, as well as having strong teeth, them being 2 x 7.5kg teeth, each 15cm long and blunted slightly to make them tough! The skirting prevents almost any flipper getting underneath and n case they do, it can self-right using a self-righting arm on top of the robot, but the low traction could be a problem.
In E.O.T.R 1: Took just 1 hit to immobilise Flaming Hell€™s cage, making it easy for Crusher C.U to remove it from the competition, but it took on Orka MK.4, was a very resilient robot, and flipped Tengu VII against the wall so it couldn€™t self-right
In E.O.T.R 2: (SEEDED 29) Dominated the way in Round One by smashing the armour on Disco 5 and Squish. The armour on the pair of them got seriously hurt, but Squish died first. In Round Two, it dominated the way again by knocking the chassis against the wheels of the powerful robot called The Ultimate Wedge. But once again, it fell at the feet of Orka MK.4 -the 13th seed - in the Heat Final, who once again immobilised Tengu against the wall.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 20) Once again dominated the proceedings in the heat by going after Infusion Faux in Round One, eventually taking it out, and meaning it went through with Bere-y Interesting doing nothing! The Dutch bar spinner called Another Night At The Bar caused a bit of issues, the protecting ring allowed Tengu to cause more damage to Another Night At The Bar than vice versa, meaning Tengu won it with the judges. 4th seed Leprosy Infection was in for a shock when Tengu just spun up and unleashed its full fury, ripping off armour and the drum, until the 4th seed couldn€™t take it anymore. But in Round Four, outsider and surprise runner-up Wedginator 6.0, despite taking a heap of damage, was able to immobilise Tengu against the wall yet again!
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 8) Shredded up Axe-O-Lotl in Round One, but it was able to move and push BioHazard over the flipping, putting BioHazard in a position it couldn€™t escape, and so Axe-O-Lotl and Tengu qualified. Round Two was easy against a robot called Walk Don€™t Run was destroyed by the power of Tengu, allowing for Tengu to met 24th seed Wedga€™s Revenge in the Heat Final. Wedga was a very resilient to Tengu€™s weaponry, but Alex just had to repeatedly batter the wedge, and this time it was able to survive being flipped, to win the JD!

Just like the heart attack, SHA2 is a LETHAL creation! This is one of those robots that gains its advantage by being able to drive over other robots. It€™s a pair of tracks, joined by a 30kg drum, 28cm in diameter with 10 Hardox teeth, powered by 2 x S28-400 Magmotors at 24V and spinning around at 3500rpm, which produces 39kj. The front is higher than the back to fit on a more powerful weapon. Designed in such a way that the tracks remain in contact with the floor no matter what. Both tracks have their own private hinged invertible rear-wedge, with a little upright edge to prevent opponents from driving over the wedge straight against the track. The hinge is OVER the wheel hub rather than behind the main body. The tracks are quite sturdy, as they are both made of 15mm Titanium with Vulkalon treads on, allowing for great traction! The armour on the side and inside the tracks are 10mm Titanium. It also has 2 rear-wedges, one on each track; to make it more effective as a rammer to bring its 2 x LEM130€™s at 48V, giving 24hp, and the tracks get do 18mph. The tracks may be

In E.O.T.R 3: Helped 22nd seed GeForce 4.0 in removing Avarice from the arena, by knocking it against the wall for GeForce to make the final flip, before it set about roughing up 6th seed Wedge Devolution, until Wedge was able to stop the drum, and soon SHA2 ended up down the pit.
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 30) Has had a brilliant run this competition, first of all by helping 147 to help KO Ripper in Round One, before in Round Two it bashed around FireStorm 5 until it also died after had its side armour removed and insides attacked. And in the Heat Final against the surprising Axes Of Evil, the Polycarbonate armour was mincemeat, and soon the Axes Of Evil was no more.

The almighty FBS of Tengu spins up quite quickly compared to the powerful drum of SHA2€¦and both move out at the same speed directly into each others weapons€¦CRASH! The blades of Tengu hit the drum, but Tengu goes flying up into the 1ft air! Tengu lands with his blades slowed down a tad, AND SHA2 moves in again! Tengu tumbles over onto its back, but the self-righter does work - and Tengu€™s away before another attack from SHA2 can come in. Tengu€™s awesome blades are quickly spinning again, as SHA2 comes in once again BUT TENGU DODGES TO THE SIDES! Tengu pushes into the sides of SHA2 and the blades viciously impact on the side armour! The 10mm Titanium receives a barrage of pain! AND WE SEE A DENT IN THE ARMOUR! And we also see a small gap opened up in the side€¦Tengu reverses, and then comes in again, spinning at full speed€¦RIP!!! Off comes the Titanium side armour! Martijn is shocked, appalled at the damage done to his pride and joy! Alex is ecstatic at the damage he€™s caused. And now he comes in again, this time on the track€¦SNAP! We can€™t see any damage done, and so SHA2 hits in again, and Tengu flies up! SHA2 moves quickly forward, but suddenly goes into a circle - and we see, lying on the arena floor, one of SHA2 tracks! Tengu moves onto the other track, and the teeth immediately impact on that track€¦SNAP! The track this time is torn right off the robot! Martijn puts down his controls, as the countdown begins for SHA2!

TENGU VII (8) GOES THROUGH TO ROUND 5!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------
+1>From Colne, seeded #12, Big Nipper!!
-1>Entered by Mark Lumb/Martijn Benschop
Enter the engineering marvel! Big Nipper is a 7mm Titanium box shaped robot with a special method of driving - it has four wheels on top of the robot and four on the bottom, allowing complete control whichever way it€™s up. For motors, it has 2 x 750w Boschs at 36V, giving 7hp in the power section, and for weapons, it uses electric crushing claws which don€™t have too much crushing force but can lift and flip over other robots with ease! The pushing power and front ground clearance is enough to make someone very scared but it is easily flipped.
In E.O.T.R 1: Started off by tormenting Bulldog Breed and Son Of Wedgie in Round One, but surprisingly, Bulldog Breed pitted Son Of Wedgie! Big Nipper in Round Two was performing brilliantly against Battle Raptor VI, grabbing onto the axe and lifting it down the pit, before once again bossing Bulldog Breed in the Heat Final, who suddenly came from nowhere to pit Big Nipper!
In E.O.T.R 2: (SEEDED 16) In Round One, it performed well against Ze Newie and Intensity, but it was ultimately Ze Newie who pitted Intensity. In Round 2, it was an easy victory against the clusterbot of Split Decision. For and Against (the two clusters) were no match for the control and power of Big Nipper, who pitted one half, thus pitting the whole robot! In the heat final, Big Nipper met its most dangerous opposition in the form of the mighty flipper, Stratos-Fear! Everyone fought Stratos would win easily, but Big Nipper bossed it, taking only one flip. Eventually, Big Nipper pitted Stratos-Fear to win through to the series semi-finals! It then had a brutal battle with 4th seed Black Panther Queen, but it went to the judges who awarded the win to Black Panther Queen on a 39-36 decision.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 12) In Round One, it was scared a bit by the destructive BIACS-LE, but was able to use Gravity to halt the weaponry of BIACS-LE, at the cost of Gravity€™s mobility, so Big Nipper and BIACS-LE qualified. In Round Two, Big Nipper took on the tracked realie called Suicidal Tendincies, and won the JD at the end of the fight, after giving the opponent no chances of attack. The Heat Final was it toughest battle ever though as BIACS-LE took the Big Nipper armour off and bent the Big Nipper chassis and ruined the Big Nipper paintjob, but Big Nipper luckily got its claws around the disc and was able to drag it into the pit! But in Round Four, it took on Ramthrax 2, the 17th seed and dark-horse of the competition, and despite getting some good attacks in, Big Nipper was rammed about and lost the JD.
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 12) In Round One, it got its claws around both Dominator 2 and The Matador, but it was able to pit The Matador after flying quite a bit. It was much easier in Round Two, where it just swooped underneath 13 Black - its armour was too tough for the spinning discs - and turned it onto its back, as it was unable self-right from that. 28th seed Hoof was equally no match, as Big Nipper just grabbed on, and lifted it up before dropping down the pit!
+1>From Toronto, Canada, Intrigue!!
-1>Entered by Kody Kunz
The mysteries of this robot are best kept hidden! This sickening green box with two spiked scoops, one at the front, and another at the rear, as well as an axe! The axe on this robot is a great big dirty axe powered dual 2kg CO2 containers. It can hit on both sides due to its rack-and-pinion thwacking design. The front of the axe head is nice, pointed, and Hardox-tipped for pecking into opposing bots€™ armours. The rear of the head is Terrorhurtz-style, allowing for big, heavy blows. Attached around the axe head is a small Hardox skirt that not only protects the axe from damage from the front, but also allows Intrigue to flip an opponent if it lands on the skirt. Special 4 S28-400 Magmotors motors give it power and special Titanium armourment keeps it protected, but the axe may run out of power, and then it could be in trouble.

In E.O.T.R 3: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 4: Used that axe to good work in Round One by hacking into Paralyzation, and with help from 21st seed Turbo Tails, was able to pit it. And then we were treated to the biggest shock in the series, as Intrigue faced off against 5th seed Black Panther Queen - they both exchanged axe blows, until Intrigue got its axe into the ABC armour of its opponent, it then powered the seed down the pit! 21st seed Turbo Tails proved a little tougher in the Heat Final, as it flipped Intrigue and attacked the base panel, but Intrigue stopped the spinning of the and then finally pitted the Scottish design!

The siren sounds out around the ring, and Intrigue gives a fire of its dangerous axing weapon to shake itself away from Big Nipper! Mark turns to get another line-up at Big Nipper, and now charges forward€¦BUT INTRIGUE SPINS AWAY! Intrigue has dodged Big Nipper€™s charge in a stylish spin, and is now behind the Nipper and puts all his power down, SLAMMING it against the wall with awesome force, before bringing the axe into play! Big Nipper€™s top armour is taking a pounding from the axe of Intrigue, until Kody is ordered to back off, and the Big Nipper is back into play! It spins around, the claws slide underneath again, and they lift up and€¦OVER GOES INTRIGUE! The axe instantly kicks in though, and robot goes into a stylish 180 self-righting move! Big Nipper moves in, claws open, and is trying to get the claws around the axe! Kody spins around, and Big Nipper on the rear wedge! Kody goes into reverse, with the realie still stuck on the wedge! And Intrigue is reversing towards the pit! BOOM! Down goes Big Nipper!

The motors in both robots boost into life, and they power forwards at full speed! Kali doesn€™t stop driving forward, but Intrigue does, and as the Champion storms past, the axe comes down! The Polycarbonate top protection is nothing to that axe as a large hole is caused to the top! Alex tries to shift his robot to the left in order to break itself loose from the axe€¦the axe retracts, and Kali now powers on into Intrigue€™s front! A burst of CO2 and the Canadian Lumberjack flies over onto his back, but the axe instantly slices up to put Intrigue back the right-way up! But Kali rams in again and that front wedge slams underneath the sides of Intrigue again, and puts all the power down onto the ground AND STORMS INTRIGUE TOWARDS THE ARENA WALL! Kali flips Intrigue skywards, but has flipped too soon! Intrigue just hits the wall and that axe once again puts it the right way up! Kali speeds in to try and finish Intrigue off with an OOTA, but Kody have managed to avoid it! Kali speeds and smashes into the wall, and Kody now sees this as his chance, and brings the axe in again, but this time onto the wheels of Kali! The Vulkalon doesn€™t seem to be greatly damaged, but the repeated hammering from Intrigues axe does seem to be annoying Alex quite a bit. Kali is now finding hard to drive along, and Intrigue brings the axe in again, this time onto the top of the flipper! The axe seems to dig into the ABC flipper, and Intrigue puts its power down and slams into Kali the pit release button! The axe withdraws and Kali spins around once again to get underneath the Intrigue ground clearance and shoot the newcomer up into the atmosphere, who lands inside the ring and quickly self-rights - BACK ONTO THE FLIPPER! Kali pushes Intrigue along towards the pit, but Intrigue sways off course, and Kali finds itself on the edge of the pit! Intrigue quickly fires down the axe, and it€™s PULLING AGAINST KALI! Intrigue seems to be pulling Kali backwards, so close to the pit€¦ KALI SUDDENLY STARTS PULLING BACK! One robot is going down the pit, and it seems to be Intrigue going down, but Kody twitches to the left, and pushes forward! Kali smashes against the walls, and seems to now be stuck on Intrigue€™s front wedge, who now spins around, and slams the Champion forward€¦AND DOWN THE PIT! Kali lies in a smoking heap in the bottom of the pit whilst Intrigue reverses to the centre and spins in victory!
Result:
Kali (1) is destroyed, and is in need of the God of Creation!!

Storm 2 speeds straight off the starting blocks as Tengu VII blades off doom start to gain some speed! Tengu dodges away from Storm 2€™s incoming charge, and now Ed and Martijn know they€™re too late - Tengu€™s blades are a blur, and they are spinning even faster! Storm 2 hits into the blur of Tengu€™s destruction€¦AND STORM IS SENT SPINNING! Storm 2 spins 360 and now seems to have a long cut along the front armour! Storm is still facing forward, and so Tengu charges in again, and Storm is sent away once more, now with a chink in the front armour! Storm 2 reverses away all this and slams into the pit release button, whilst Tengu still spins on, and comes forward! Storm charges at it, and once again takes a blow, now smashing in the front panel! The front-left panel slides off the front, broken in 2 parts! Ed now knows that he needs to finish Tengu off quickly, and just charges on! BANG! The front receives more hurt, but Storm is now underneath Tengu! The lifting arm instantly comes into action! Tengu finds itself flipped over onto its back, but is ready to self-right, but Storm 2 places its lifter just a little bit over Tengu€¦and the self-righter fires, but it stays upside-down! Ed puts the power down, and Tengu is BEING SENT TOWARDS THE PIT! BOOM! Down falls the vicious FBS!
Result:
Tengu VII (8) needs to make room for Tengu VIII!!

Ramthrax 2 vs. COMBUSTION AND SOLID STATE WATER
Right, this will be tough, but I have one thing on my side - control. The combination of his higher speed, his six wheel drive vs. my tracks, and his skirts should make me more maneuvrable, and Ill try and keep my front pointing at him when Im actively on the attack. If he lifts me, I should still be able to get some traction considering his amount of lift and my tracks, so he wont win that easily...as for what I intend to actually do :proud:, itll probably end up being a ramming contest, but Ill try and gouge the base a bit with the saws in case it goes for the JD, but basically ram and pit...theoretically, he has less pushing power so this could be easy, but you never know...those tactics enough for you?
Storm 2 vs. Intrigue
Uh...Storm 2 to pit Intrigue.
Good luck Alex, should be a good fight.
Eye Of The Robot-Series 4
BOOYAH! Seung Mina, you have been avenged...now lets get this finished up.
Ramthrax 2 (6) vs. Fire And Ice
Close, but I think Ramthrax can get this one.
Storm II (4) vs. Intrigue
Time to keep Storm II away from at least the silver again... :lame:
Right. We have roughly the same amount of power (My 4 S28-400s to his 2 LEM130s, should be the same), but he can push me back a bit. When that happens, hit and reverse away. Hopefully I can pull something like last battle, smack his exposed wheels, grapple a wheel hole, and drag to pit.
Oh, and because Storm IIs front end isnt exactly 0mm, I should be able to get under him. :proud:
Summary: AGGRESSION, but not so much that I end up throwing myself into a situation more dangerous than I already am in. :proud:

Fed up of killing wildlife, Ramthrax is now going for robots! This robot is a powerhouse of traction and power combined, using 6 wheels coated with Vulkalon, allow for the ultimate in terms of tractions, and it also has 2 x B42-500 Magmotors at 48V, allowing for massive amounts of horsepower! On the front is a massive concave Hardox plate, designed to kill FBS€™s, which it€™s designed to take on and to stop spinners, it has 4mm Tungsten Steel skirts on the sides. In the scoop as well are two actuators which can lift a 100kg robot 5cm off the ground, allowing for a bigger ram. Despite all this, although the armour on the front is the toughest ever in vapourbot history, the sides, top and rear armour is 3mm Titanium€¦
In E.O.T.R 1: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 2: Had an easy Round One battle after pitting TIRTASM with helping from reigning champ Killotine: EVO. In Round Two, it was tougher when 17th seed FireStorm 5 pinned it on the walls, and got ready for an OOTA, but Alex escaped and dumped FireStorm down the pit! It met the Champion Killotine: EVO in the Heat A final, and it went totally wrong as Steven€™s axe robot took out the control box, leaving Mr. Holt€™s robot dead in the arena.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 17) Assisted with Seung Mina III in helping to remove Disc-O-Inferno from the competition, with Ramthrax slamming it around the ring before Seung Mina made the final flip to send the realie OOTA! In Round Two, it slammed Panicking around, eventually nudging it down the pit! But in the second Round, it took on the 1st seed and Champion again, this time it was Whirligig 4.0! And despite loosing a piece of side-armour, Ramthrax shocked the crowd and bookies by pitting the Champion. The side-armour was repaired for the semi-finals, and it met the 12th seed and realie Big Nipper. Big Nipper got in a few good slams and dodges, but Ramthrax controlled the majority of the fight, and Alex won a JD! It then had a grudge-match - with Killotine: EVO, now reduced to 7th seed! The battle was fast and furious, but once again, Killotine killed the control box, ending Ramthrax€™s glorious run!
In E.O.T.R 4: (SEEDED 6) Ramthrax began in style by killing off Darke Destroyer with a single, powerful hit! It was an easy win, and it went through with Black Death, before one of its toughest battles against Aftershock, who constantly sent Ramthrax flying onto its back, but it didn€™t sustain much in the way of damage and the seed won a JD. The same happened in the Heat Final against the lethal machine, Leprosy Infection seed 22. The battle however was closer, but not close enough, as Ramthrax took another semi-final spot! The battles with the spinners didn€™t stop, as in Round Four it now took on FBS Sithis, and despite losing all its side armour, Ramthrax was able to finally ram it down the pit, before qualifying to Round Five to battle with Killotine: EVO (seeded 3rd) for 3rd time, and a massive battle started that went to the judges who allowed Ramthrax to claim revenge on a narrow JD!

Fire And Ice, Yin And Yang, Fish And Fish! This robot looks to be a promising design, effectively using a tracked design with enforced steel protection, with added rubber for grip. The tracks are powered by LEM130€™s at 36V, allowing for an outburst of 36hp! The power is so great that this robot can reach speeds of 16mph, or 25mph if needed. As well as all this power, it had some active weaponry, and they are 2 x 20cm diameter diamond edged saw blades, one in the centre of each wedge, powered by S28-150 Magmotors at 24v to around 3500rpm. It has armourment hard to rival, using 5mm Hardox, and underneath that, the robot has serious amounts of shock-proofing to prevent it being shock-killed when facing a spinner. The tracks may be vulnerable to axes, but it looks quite good.

In E.O.T.R 3: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 4: Got into a ramming battle against Crimson Thunder and Achilles. Achilles was able to resist the majority of Fire And Ice€™s onslaughts, and was able to flip Crimson Thunder about, and 16th Achilles and Fire And Ice eclipsed it in the JD. It needed yet another JD in order to get past the dangerous 32nd seed Another Night At The Bar, when Fire And Ice just pushed on to win, to make it to the Heat Final against Achilles, and Achilles flipped Fire And Ice around, but soon the newcomer rammed the seed into the far wall, and Achilles wouldn€™t move, so then Fire And Ice moved into the semis! In the semis it took multiple scares, some from 2nd seed Wedginator 6.0 in Round Four, but the greater power inside Fire And Ice managed to surprisingly dump the 2nd seed in the pit! There were also some scares from 23rd seed Die-Ceratops ReInvertus in Round Five, who flipped it quite a bit, until at last Die-Ceratops was shunted down the pit, and the Grand Final spot belonged to Fire And Ice!

Fire And Ice now backs away for another hit, but Ramthrax has also backed away from the wall, and now turns to face Fire And Ice front-to-front! The power is immediately put down by all of Ramthrax€™s tyres and both of Fire And Ice€™s tracks! The two smash-up into each others fronts, and we se€¦Ramthrax slowly being edged backwards! Ramthrax now slightly hits the arena wall! Joey backs off, his face fixed with concentration, and Alex€™s face is fixed with worry - Fire And Ice has done all the work in this fight! Ramthrax makes a desperate attack to win and charges straight at the sides of Fire And Ice! The newcomer has now suddenly found itself pinned in, struggling to break loose from the arena wall! Fire And Ice now goes into reverse AND IS FREE OF THE WALL! Fire And Ice now reverses back across the arena and slams into the pit release button! Ramthrax comes storming in from nowhere and SMASHES INTO THE FRONT OF FIRE AND ICE! There€™s a massive shower of sparks, and also Ramthrax stuck on the saw of Fire And Ice! Joey can see his opportunity here, and pushes on, undeterred, AND RAMTHRAX IS ON THE EDGE OF PIT€¦It€™s hanging onto the arena, unwilling to go, but another push from Fire And Ice€¦BOOM! +1>From Ipswich, Suffolk, seeded #4, Storm 2!!
-1>Entered by Ed Hoppit/Martijn Benschop
Cat With Wheels in Round Four proved a difficult challenge to Storm 2, even pushing it down the pit, but Storm 2 had immobilised Cat With Wheels on the arena wall prior to that incident, and so Storm 2 qualified to face the lethal 8th seed Tengu VII in Round Five! Tengu€™s blades sliced the front of Storm 2 quit badly, but Storm 2 was able to turn Tengu on its head and shunt it down the black hole! Storm 2 was in another final!

In E.O.T.R 2: Didn€™t enter.
Big Nipper drove towards planning a victory against Intrigue in Round Four, but Kody€™s robot was able to bash Big Nipper€™s armour and push it down the pit, but in Round Five, we saw Intrigue€™s biggest surprise when 1st seed and reigning champion Kali had every reason to beat it, but Intrigue overcame it, grabbed on with the axe and confined the Champion to the pit!

Storm 2 is first off the line! Storm is speeding out into the centre to greet Intrigue on its way out, and the two meet nose-to-nose€¦and Storm twists around and pushes underneath the side of Intrigue, and slams it straight back into its starting square! Intrigue leaps from that hit, but lands on Storm 2€™s flat top panel, and reverses away before Storm can do anything more. Intrigue now goes on the offensive, just driving on and immediately getting underneath the front end and pushing it back! Then came the repeated battering of the axe! Ed watched das Storm 2€™s top armour took repeated piercings€™ from the axe, before Intrigue backs off AND NOW PUSHES FROM THE SIDE! Intrigue is once again underneath and bashing down with the axe onto Storm once more! Storm hits the wall hard, and Intrigue isn€™t going to let it go so near the final! But soon enough Storm is freed from the nagging of Intrigue. Both robots reverse away from each other, and Storm charges in once more - AND HE€™S UNDER! He raises the lifter and spins Intrigue over onto his back, but Kody instantly fires the axe before Storm can take advantage again, and lands back the right way up! Storm however pushed in, and again used the lifter arm to turn Intrigue upside-down, but this time, the Canadian ROLLED over! Kody now goes into reverse mode and reverses across the arena - straight into the pit release button, as Storm 2 pushed in again! The robot rams straight into Intrigue€™s front wedge, AND DROVE UP THE RAMP! Intrigue€™s hammer in down into Storm€™s wheel-housing, and NOW STARTS TO MOVE IT TOWARDS THE PIT€¦BOOM!

Storm 2 (4) started off like a storm, but soon disappeared like the lightning!!

Ramthrax FTW.
Grand Final
Fire and Ice vs. Intrigue
I never expected Intrigue to get this far, not at all. :proud: Not going to back down from this either. Joey, you may be a newcomer, but that doesnt mean Im going to take it easy on you.
Right, first things first. Fire and Ice is also invertible. Urethane rubber or not, those tracks are a huge weakness for my powerful axe (according to the stats, anyway :proud:), so target them mainly. Also, the 4mm titanium top (and bottom) armour of his should get pretty hole-y before my axe, so anywhere I hit will do some pretty nice damage to Fire and Ice, so I wont moan in despair if I miss the tracks. :proud: Hes pretty powerful, so come in from the sides and smack away. Due to the shape of my front end, if I can get under and pin him against the wall, he shouldnt be able to get away that easily, even with the tracks. Then I can just hack away. Also, if I get any kind of a good grip with the axe while Fire and Ice is wedged, DRAG TO PIT IMMEDIATELY, DO NOT DAWDLE. In-between all that, be as aggressive as I possibly can, smack him into walls, the usual. Avoid the front(s) if possible.
Good luck, Joey. :)
Paul, I really hope you can do a real major tournament ALL THE WAY THROUGH next time. This Semi-Final and Grand Final has really been kick-ass, and the conclusion draws ever near. Keep going, you can do it. :)

This is going to be tough. Intrigue is precisely what F&I is weak against, however that side ground clearance gives me hope.
Ill remove my saws for this fight (but leave the mechanism in for ballast), as that should let me do more wedging and get underneath Intrigue better. Avoid the front like the plague. Avoid the rear like a more deadly version of the plague, since that sort of axe blade is more deadly. Go for the sides and ram into the pit, or the walls if thats more practical.
Best of luck, Kody :proud: Paul, I echo what he said about finishing it through next time...what weve had of this has had a lot of kick with a substantial amount of ass, and Im up for EOTR5 if you are.

Both speedy robots rush into the centre nearly straight away, and they both SLAM into contact! Storm 2€™s front wedge is enough to break underneath Ramthrax€™s body, as Alex now realises he€™s being driven across the arena - FAST! Ramthrax is hit hard against the wall, and now Storm jostles slightly, and THE LIFTER COMES INTO PLAY! Martijn and Ed are trying to position Ramthrax on its side€¦but they can€™t! Relieve for Alex who is let down and, now pushes up to Storm 2€™s front-left corner, and uses his own lifter€¦now we see the full power inside of Ramthrax€¦BANG! A horrendous hit! But Storm appears to have taken the blow well, and is moving quite well after the hit, seemingly undeterred. Both now hit into each others fronts again, and Storm once more comes out on top, and now aims RAMTHRAX FOR THE SPIKES! Alex€™s robot is being escorted to the spikes, and the lifter comes in at the last moment, AND SOON RAMTHRAX SEEMS TO BE IMPALED BY THE SPIKES! Ramthrax is stuck on the spikes, until Storm 2 is told to help them off. Ramthrax falls back down onto the arena floor, and all the wheels spin again, and ram into Storm 2 once more, but doesn€™t to be able to ram it in a straight line - just edging it repeatedly. Storm 2 now reverses away, but€¦OVER THE FLIPPING SPIKES! Storm 2 is now upside-down and Ramthrax comes in to slam it away from flipping spikes again! Storm is now suddenly being pushed right down the arena towards the pit release button!

And they€™re off! Fire And Ice storms along and smashes against the sides of Intrigue and pushes straight underneath! The power of Fire And Ice now allows Joey to speed him and Intrigue hard against the walls, but a quick blow from Intrigue€™s axe pushes Kody€™s robot off of Fire And Ice. Intrigue lands side-on to Fire And Ice and pushes forward harshly, using its special wedge design to motor underneath he side of Fire And Ice! NOW BEGINS THE BEATING OF THE AXE! Intrigue€™s lethal hammer is smashing onto Fire And Ice€™s Titanium top panel! Hole and hole is forming in the top armour, but finally the right track gain grip on the floor - enough to move away from Intrigue€™s lethal hammer! Joey, desperate for a win now turns his robot around, battering the front of Intrigue away AND LEAVING INTRUGUE€™S SIDE CLEARANCE EXPOSED! Fire And Ice pushes underneath that side once more and is now motoring it across the ring - into the flipping spikes! Intrigue flies over, but a quick snap of the axe sends it back onto its wheels, but Joey isn€™t giving in and is still ramming and ramming into the side of Intrigue - Kody is finding hard to escape it! Fire And ice now goes into a final big ram, but Kody has had enough, and spins away from another onslaught AND BRINGS DOWN THE AXE ONCE AGAIN! Fire And Ice seems to have Intrigue€™s hammer stuck in its top armour! Joey decides to use this to his advantage, and moves slightly to keep Intrigue in front of it! Now Joey slams all the power down onto the ground and Intrigue finds itself being carried back for the ramming battering ram! BANG! Into the pit release button! Fire And Ice, driven by Joey who sees a chance he has to win, is trying to turn Intrigue around€¦BUT HE CAN€™T! Intrigue is now trying to remove the axe from the top armour of Fire And Ice, and finally does so! Fire And Ice now goes onto the offensive, pushing against the front-right side of Intrigue, BUT KODY FIRES DOWN HIS AXE AGAIN! The lethal, dangerous axe slams down ferociously, now onto the edges of Fire And Ice, but it seems to be standing up absolutely fine to it. Fire And Ice has now got Intrigue in the pushing line towards the doom of the pit, but as he pushes away, Intrigue shifts a bit, and is now underneath the side of Fire And Ice, and now is pushing Fire And Ice into the wall and down comes the axe again - ONTO THE LEFT TRACK! Intrigue has Fire And Ice pinned in and is repeatedly smashing onto the left track! The last blow sounds, and Intrigue backs off, as Fire And Ice goes out again, ONLY TO BE RAMMED AGAIN BY INTRIGUE! Fire And Ice hits the wall€¦but doesn€™t seem to be moving! Kody hits in once more to see - and we see Fire And Ice€™s left side track! Intrigue reverses out into the centre of the ring, and goes into a rotation, firing the axe many times - in victory!

Kind of ironic - I was working on a new design for the robot (wont be called Fire And Ice this time) that specifically addressed the issue of the tracks being too flimsy :proud: Well done Kody anyway, you deserve the win after all this time, and good on Paul for the fantastic fights - ease the pain of defeat a little bit :P

I agree completely with Joeys remark about this being ironic, but for different reasons. Ive never ever won a major before, and then I end up winning my first major tournament that got twelve heats chopped up into nothingless, but soon progressed to a completely killer Semi-Final, and an even moreso Grand Final. Also ironic that its Intrigue being the champ, who was due for a redesign anyway. :proud:
With that said...

I finally won a major! :proud: (well, it is a major, according to the number of robots competing anyway :proud:) Many thanks to Paul for an awesome culmination , and to Joey for giving me one hell of a struggle in the final battle. Again, thanks.
Now to redesign Intrigue for next tournament...yes, that means Ill join EOTR5 when it comes. I have to defend my title, dont I? :proud:

Woo... third place is pretty good for a robot that hasnt been updated in at least three years by my reckoning, lol
Great tourny, even if it was a tad abridged .I wish Id managed to get a final with 3 of my bots though, that would have been fun, lol.
