Breed vs. Rogue vs. Firestorm V
I fear Breed will be outdone by its two opponents here
Erm, Martijn, I believe Firestorm was entered by you, so it might be wise to enter some tactics. :proud:

Firestorm will look for a tea-up with Rogue, or just go for whatever part of Breed is closest. After seeing how Firestorm flipped S3 OOTA, and considering the low weight of both parts of Breed, its OOTA Ill be aiming for
Martijn, what I think you might wish to try is to get around the rear of Rouge and shove the spinning disc into Breed. If it doesnt kill one of the parts, itll certainately flip it.
If Rouge doesnt lose the first round and Firestorm does, then Aquarius might win again. If Rouge loses, then Ill go for Rouge.

Breed vs. Rogue vs. Firestorm V
Breed is a clusterbot by Andrew Jackson. Interestly its named after a song by Nirvana. Even the names of the clusters themselves refer to that song. You Can Plant A House (YCPAH) has a rear spinning drum powered by a Mag, while its twin, You Can Build A Tree (YCBAT) has a linear-actuated lifting arm. They both have that wedge shape with rounded rear and sides, a 3.25mm hardox monocoque chassis, and LEM130 drive! Each cluster weighs 50kg, so its pretty easy to throw these guys, though.
C&BT1: Beaten by Shovearound 2 in the first round of Heat F.
Rogue, a newcomer to the C&BT, was made by Aaron Knight. It has a extremely intimidating horizontal disc, tilted down slightly. This is because it is powered by a chainsaw and an Astroflight motor! Using those, it gains a 2500rpm spinning speed, a 273km/h tip speed, and 32kJ of force on every full blow! Its chassis is 8mm of titanium/vanadium monocoque alloy and its drive speed is 12mph, but it doesnt look like it can self-right properly...

Firestorm V is one of the most revered and respected combat robots in the history of the sport since Series 3 of Robot Wars, where he debuted. It mimicks Rogues speed of 12mph, though slightly faster, and it has a front-hinged penumatic flipper. Its armour is composed of aluminum and it is quite nippy thanks to its go-kart wheels. If you wish to defeat Firestorm, you had better take advantage of its poor pushing power. Its rear is also prone to assault. Martijn M Benschop was the one who entered Firestorm V in this tournament.

There goes Firestorm V right after Breed, who has immediately split and the twins are looking to do some damage. Rogue is out and about too, not really caring what its disc runs into. Speaking of running into things, heres YCBAT with a brave charge at Firestorm, but no go! In fact, it was Firestorm who got under YCBAT, and threw him a good way across the arena! And that signals YCPAH to ram Firestorms side with the wedge, but another no go as the RW7 2nd seed drives right over the front wedge and rams YCBAT. YCBAT just avoids the charge but is too late to avoid a hit...from Rogue!
CRASH!!!
Ooh, that just had to leave a mark. YCBAT is knocked right over Firestorm wedge and right into an empty CPZ! ...what?! There is no mark?! Well then, that 3.25mm hardox sure stood up to that, but heres what it wont stand up to: a house bot weighing about 15 times as much cornering you and trying to grab you with its gigantic jaws! With YCBAT busy, Firestorm searches for the other Breed twin, YCPAH, and realizes that he doesnt need to, for YCPAH has found him! A slam to the rear, and Firestorms wheels leave the ground! WHAM! Into the wall goes the fiery bot, but Rogue doesnt want to be left out, and just nicks the pit release button so as to avoid ripping it completely out, but unfortunately the power of that spinning blade has caused damage to it. :angry: Oi, we are NOT allowing you to destroy the arena! And Ancalagon comes out of the CPZ to deal out the bill of punishment! This means YCBAT is freed from that CPZ but has sustained some damage to the side from one of the discs next to those jaws, and OH WHATS THIS?! YCPAH HAS BEEN THROWN OUT OF THE ARENA!!! Look at this: Firestorm recovering from that earlier ram, getting straight in underneath the side, and tossing them right over the wall! They knew about the weight disadvantage and they performed perfectly! This means that Breed is out of the picture, since one of the clusters has been taken out. Oh, and there goes YCBAT, straight into the pit because theres nothing better to do.

The weight disadvantage comes back to bite the Breed right in the...well Id rather not say where. :proud:

And straight from the start its Aquarius, right in on the attack with a deadly charge but its evaded by the surprisingly agile Rogue, and that has allowed that flywheel to reach deadly speeds already! But Aquarius doesn€™t intend to let the battle slip away, and reaching Rogue€™s side slides under it and heaves it into the air! Rogue however is saved thanks to the gyroscopic forces at work and lands back on his wheels. Aquarius rams him again, none too pleased with the result but he€™ll be more displeased now that Rogue has turned right around to face him!
CRASH!
Aquarius takes a bit of a bump there, the disc hitting the wedge but causing Rogue to bounce off and spin in the opposite direction! This is bad news for Aaron, and Tony takes advantage of it, flipping Rogue over before it has a chance to spin up its weapon! Unfortunately for Aquarius, Rogue is indeed flipped, but way too much, and it almost ends up doing a 540, but crashing off its side has the joy of continuing to be on its wheels! Aquarius is quite cheesed now, and seems to be in an all-out attack mode, again attacking the side of Rogue, who is going nowhere fast! Aquarius crashes Rogue into the wall and goes for the OOTA! FLIP! NO! Rogue bounces off the railing and is held up by Aquarius€™ flipper! Rogue€™s tires spin furiously but nothing doing, as Aquarius is in complete control of the situation! The arm lowers, and Rogue topples onto Aquarius and tries to ride off of him but being stacked against the wall doesn€™t help much! FLIP! Rogue is tossed over Aquarius and craters into the floor with a heavy CRASH! Has new life been given to Rogue? Tony doesn€™t want anybody to think that, and Aquarius wheels around to punish Rogue some more, to find that he€™s not there! In fact, he€™s rammed the pit release button! And just like that Taki-san has lost control! The house bot plows right into Rogue with the front wedge! Rogue is shunted but regains balance as Taki retreats back into her zone. Aaron is trying to get back into the game but Aquarius is coming at him fast!
CRASH!
Aquarius is smacked away by the disc, which has regained its speed, but the front armour of Aquarius has withstood the hit again! And Rogue has also been spun away by that hit! Aquarius gets his bearings back and zooms in on the recoiling Rogue, but again that disc is reaching dangerous speeds! Aquarius rams him head-on, caring nothing for the flywheel.
CRASH!
There is some damage now! Aquarius is spun away again, the front wedge dented and bruised, but Rogue has been pushes backwards into the wall disc-first, and unable get away without making himself vulnerable! And that€™s just what Tony wants. Aquarius has the upper hand again, and rams Rogue in the rear and slams him hard into the wall! That slam jolts Rogue backwards and very nearly into the pit! Rogue escapes but another shove from Aquarius sends Rogue right into the waiting wedge of Taki-san and Tira-san immediately leaves her CPZ looking for some tasty victims! FLIP! Rogue is thrown into the corner by Aquarius€™ powerful arm! Taki buries the cutting blade into Rogue€™s side!
CRASH!
No damage really done to the monocoque armour other than a small dent, but that€™s not going to last seeing as Tira advances into the CPZ, and Aquarius is out of the way allowing the housies to have their fun!

Tira€™s flywheel hammers Rogue along the side, scoring it but not ripping it open. Rogue can€™t get away from the attack, and now Aquarius seeing that this is going to take awhile gets in, pushing Taki aside, and tosses Rogue! FLIP! Rogue is tipped against the wall! But Taki doesn€™t like being pushed around and shunts Aquarius in the side, lifting him up and slamming him right into the wall!
CRASH!!!
Another dreadful hit from Tira and now Rogue has taken much damage! The corner of Rogue has been ripped from the side, slightly exposing the mechanics! That, and it tipped him right onto his back. :proud: The Watcher is having a look, and Aquarius isn€™t happy about the situation he€™s gotten himself into, as Taki gives him another smash into the wall, and pins him there. The Watcher is convinced that Rogue is now good-bye, and starts that countdown we know too well!

Im happy with the way Rouge was able to stand up in that fight, considering its underweight and outdated, it did pretty well :P Never was designed to fight house robots either...

Aaron, winning 3 tounys in a row isnt luck (Actually, it probably is:proud:) but your machines have always been the best engineered, and the most damaging (who could forget MDU!?!).
And I dont think Rouge is outdated - its a good piece of design work. But you have entered into the spinner smah-up in C&B:Extreme. Watch out for MeCannibal there. Ill be waiting...:uhoh:

Leprosy Infection is away immediately and Firestorm is off too. It looks like its a head-on collision! At the last second though Firestorm swerves off to the right, missing Leprosy by a fraction. Then he wheels around before Leprosy can recover and slides the wedge under the side! FLIP! Leprosy is inverted! Ooh, not a good start for Chris. Leprosy is still mobile however and looking to be righted, so what does he do? Go straight for Firestorm! Firestorm has other ideas however and reverses from the charge and straight into the pit release button. But Leprosy has turned and is coming right at him, and theres nowhere to go!
CRASH!!!
OH GOODNESS ME!!! Firestorm has been mutilated! The front aluminum armour has been shredded and gouged, tatters lay on the arena floor! This is major damage, MAJOR damage! Chris seems to have gotten back his swagger, it definitey seems, but Leprosy is now on top of Firestorm, but I dont see any movement from Firestorm...oh wait, there we are. Firestorm is carrying Leprosy towards the arena wall, past the pit for some reason...I wonder if Firestorms drive has been altered by that devilish blow from Leprosy? Leprosy, speaking of which, is now piled against the wall by Firestorm. FLIP! Leprosy is mashed against the wall by the flipper and could be stuck! Firestorm backs away, and Leprosy tips back onto its back. Before Firestorm can attack, Leprosy jolts away towards the CPZ, and halts before Double Whamlet, ooh stay out of there, you dont want to mess with a house robot. And Firestorm is now in trouble here! He is only able to go forwards, or backwards, and cant turn at all! Firestorm backs all the way across the arena back into the pit release button. Leprosy turns around and comes full throttle into Firestorms tortured wedge!
CRASH!!!
That about does it! The wedge blade is gone, and more chunks of armour have been broken off and strewn far across the arena! What a mighty robot is this, ladies and gentlemen, Leprosy Infection, and hes going at Firestorm again! The drumnot yet at full speed, and he bounces up onto Firestorms flipper, which seems to be undamaged as of yet. Firestorm, however...is not moving at all. But there is some life left in our little flaming friend. Up goes the flipper...and Leprosy is now fully righted, and looking to do some more damage! The house robots come near, as The Watcher makes some room to begin the countdown on what was once a brave, working Firestorm.

WHATS THIS?! Leprosy has tackled DBM with the drum! Thanks to that, DBM has bounced right into the pit! :proud: You naughty boy, you! Whamlet isnt too concerned, and is still happily hacking Firestorm to miniscule pieces. Leprosy retreats into one of the CPZs, his job done, and the drum grinds to a halt. The Watcher gives Whamlet a nudge at this point, and accidentally runs over one of the arena saws. :proud: Whamlet gets the message, and grappling Firestorm wheels round and drops him into the pit to end the match.

Im not proud of myself Kody, but yes Im happy with my robots :wink:. I think for a bloke with no mechanical knowledge at all, they are very good.

Aquarius is faster, more powerful and better armoured, but Leprosy Infection has the flipping drum that gets up to speed very quickly. If Chris lets Aquarius underneath the GC, Tony will win, but Im going for Leprosy to damage the xposed wheels on its opponent:

Out of interest Paul, you seem very knowledgeable about past results. Just how long were you lurking around before you started entering?
Well considering he has an entry with B42-500 Magmotors, I would have to at least 2 years, and closer to 3....
Avoid Infusion, go for OOTA, go for CPZ if I cant to that, same deal as always :P
Frank: Ive been hanging about for quite a bit before I joined. Somewhere around the 6 months margian.
And Aaron: Magmotors were something which I borrowed from ForcePower Turbo and its hp rating.
Im going to hurry up with this heat. Lets get going!

Aquarius (5) went through with Leprosy Infection, and then after a struggle put Rogue into a CPZ and Tira-san destroyed him.

Its Aquarius, zooming right out to meet Leprosy Infections drum, which has already gotten to full speed!
CRASH!!!
WHOA! Aquarius took quite a hit there, but its Leprosy whos just been sent into the air by his own hit! Aquarius, a little scratched, moves forward: FLIP! Leprosy is inverted! But since hes invertible, this only means that the drum spins downwards now! Aquarius however is again in all-out attack mode, and has rammed the rear of Leprosy before he can even do anything. No flipping however, just a straight push and ram into the wall!
CRASH!
Leprosys drum hits the wall and his rear end gets some huge, which re-inverts him! However hes still stuck on Aquarius wedge! FLIP! Leprosy is tossed, but overtop of Aquarius and lands right-side-up. That said and done Leprosy gets the drum back up to speed, only to find Aquarius coming at him again! Leprosy backs away, none too eager for another air trip but its out of his hands as Aquarius barrels right into the drum!
CRASH!!!
The front end again buckles and goes skyward, landing smoothly, though. Aquarius however has taken a bad hit, and the wedge has been dented greatly on the left side. Aquarius advances on Leprosy again, whose drum is stationary, thats not good. FLIP! Leprosy finds himself on his head again, and desperately tries to get away from his attacker. Aquarius being the quicker of the two catches up to him fairly easily, but out of excitement Tony hits the weapon button. FLIP! Leprosy is righted. Aquarius goes for another flip, but Leprosy has neatly slid off of the wedge and, oh boy that drum is spinning wildly! Aquarius turns right around to face Leprosy, and finds that Leprosy is gone! He backs away looking for the drumbot, but he doesnt have to -Leprosys found him!
CRASH!!!
Aquarius takes the hit on the side, and gets thrown for a loop, landing on his back, his side buckled! Tonys plans of victory are being marred right now by this new-found aggression of Leprosy Infection, and Chris isnt letting up!

Aquarius takes another massive blow to the side, and the whole side panel is stripped off completely, exposing all the mechanics! This however has righted Aquarius and hes not about to let victory slip away from his fingertips! Aquarius scoots away as Leprosy comes in with the spinning drum and turning sharply, almost too sharply he makes an attempt for the side. He gets the side, however he hits it on an angle and thus only throws Leprosy right around to face him! Leprosy comes at him again, but Aquarius is still too fast and jets away in reverse before any more drum conflict results. Leprosy follows after him, but Aquarius again goes in reverse, right past Leprosy, and before he can recover Aquarius goes at the side again. FLIP! Leprosy is again inverted! And Aquarius, arm still raised, is heading right for the arena wall! WHAM! Leprosy is pounded against the wall hard, but stays in place thanks to the flipping arm. Aquarius holds him there, until The Watcher comes by and shunts him in the rear, telling him its time to let Leprosy go. He does so, arm lowering in the process, but is back in again, and Leprosy cant get away fast enough. Aquarius hits the side on an angle again, but turns around and bores right into the drum!
CRASH!!!
Leprosy flies back, but its Aquarius who is in trouble now, the left side of the wedge that was previous dented now is scored with a dreadful gash from the drum, and the rest of the wedge isnt looking too good either! Aquarius is also now moving rather sluggishly, but still fast enough to catch Leprosy without the drum spinning...in fact, the drum is not spinning at all. Something might have happened to the drum during that last hit, but thats for later. WHAM!
Leprosy is crushed against the wall again! FLIP! Aquarius goes for the OOTA but Leprosy goes almost linear that time, straight up into the air and crashing back down onto Aquarius, whose arm is upraised still.

Aquarius lowers the arm and tries to turn, allowing Leprosy to slide off of the wedge.

Aquarius chases after Chris retreating drummer, and catching up to Leprosy (FLIP!) puts him on his back again.

Leprosy reverses right into Aquarius arm and tries to push him back...

What a battle that was, but three minutes couldnt solve anything! Its all on the judges now!

If its the one Im thinking of, BIACS-LE is kinda awkward to fight with a flipper, so Ill concentrate on Panic Attack. Flip it, and try to stack it on the wall, and eject it from the ring if poss.

Enter the May Tracks (7) made it to the Finals last time but was beaten out by Orka MK4. Frank Goachers looking for a major comeback, and Enter the May Tracks returns with its front CO2 flipper, and steel tracks for mobility. It also is very fast at 20mph, and can prevent robots from just flying straight over the wedge using steel sunglasses.
C&BT1: Beat out Son of Ripper 5.0, Mother Of All Bricks IE, and Terrorhurtz in Heat B before losing to Orka MK4 in the Finals.
BIACS-LE is a newcomer to the game, but none less dangerous at all! Matthew Fowlers monster is equipped with a 3mm titanium mesh chassis under a 8mm fibreglass shell. This axlebot also has a 18kg vertical disc, on which the blades/teeth are mounted diagonally, to rip and flip, but it has slow acceleration. The chassis can swing over the top to protect the axle and wheels not protected by the disc, so try and damage that!

Panic Attack was built by Kim Davies and entered by Martyn Forsyth. The low yellow fellow we all know too well has the boron carbide lifting forks and slow srimech on the top. It has side skirts as well but that hasnt stopped robots from getting under them. Will Panic Attack scare the daylights out of bots or be sent shrieking back to his builder?

Straight off the mark is EtMT, and his plan is to go right after Panic Attack, which he is indeed doing! Panic Attack gets the gist of this plan and goes, not in the opposite direction, but right at him! WHAM! Both bots spring backwards as the flipper and forks meet. BIACS-LE slowly comes out from his spot and is almost tentative about who to attack first. Panic Attack helps him make that decision by turning away from Franks machine and heading straight for him! Its unfortunate for Martyn that the disc has reached full speed, however.
CRASH!!!
A real stunner from BIACS-LE sends Panic Attack up into the air, the forks rather buckled, but thankfully he comes down on his wheels. But not safe for long as EtMT flies in for an opportunity, which Panic Attack dismisses by heading towards the flame pit. BIACS-LE heads for EtMT now but the latter is busy chasing down Panic Attack. Panic Attack veers away from the flame pit and nearly takes a shot from the arena saws, but EtMT doesnt avoid them in time. Sparks shower the floor but the 3.25 is extremely resilient to the saws, and EtMT crashes into Panic Attack, sliding under the rear and FLIP! Over goes the yellow fellow! BIACS-LE isnt nearly satisfied with the way things are going, but decides to help Frank take out the underdog and heads straight for Panic Attack. Out comes the self-righter but its too late: as the panel starts to lift Panic Attack off the floor, BIACS-LE crashes into him.
CRASH!!!
Panic Attack reels, and says good-bye to his left side skirt as it skids across the floor to land on the pit, but this has also righted him. FLIP! And now hes inverted again thanks to EtMT, who shoves him into the wall. BIACS-LE now retreats from the wall and goes for the pit release button, but EtMT has different plans. FLIP! Panic Attack sails, but not out of the ring. He flies sideways along the wall, and crashes right-side-up. EtMT is seething but BIACS-LE having opened the pit gets the message and collides with the fleeing Panic Attack.
CRASH!!!
The corner of Panic Attack takes a huge blow and is somewhat devoid of armour now, but Panic Attack seems to be okay, landing back onto its wheels. EtMT charges in but misses Panic Attack, who retreats away...no there is definitely something wrong with Panic Attack. I think the hit...yes, that hit from BIACS-LE took out Panic Attacks left front tire! Quite a hit! And now Panic Attack is trying to stay alive for the rest of the match but I dont think thats going to happen! EtMT charges in, slamming into the forks and is foiled again. BIACS-LE enters the fray again and Panic Attack attempts to push EtMT away, but in fact, quite the reverse is happening: EtMT is pushing Panic Attack, and right against the wall! BIACS-LE charges straight in and tackles Panic Attack once again.
CRASH!!!
The fully exposed left side is brutalized, the armour torn skyward as Panic Attack spins into the air, dislodged from EtMTs grip, and lands again on his back! EtMT slides under him, and goes for an OOTA, and is successful: Panic Attack bounces onto the railing and lands onto the camera track.
CEASE!
No amount of therapy will cure Panic Attack - hes a lost cause! :proud:

Allanon vs. Whirligig 4.0 vs. FBSDS
Allanon is a rather unusual vapourbot, maybe due to Alex Holt being an unusual creator. :proud: It is two FBS bodies joined by top and bottom plates joined to the chassis. Its 18kg shells can go at 1700rpm, but its not the most controlled, and due to its 0.4mm ground clearance, it wont reach its top speed of 25mph any-time soon.

Whirligig 4.0 is a monster of a vapourbot. Steven McGregor knew what he was doing when he made this. It uses shuffling pads and S28-400s for motivation to 15mph, and its shell weighs 33.72kg! Not only this, but the 2 LEM130s powering the shell can spin the shell at 2000rpm, and dish out 183kJ!!! It has 3 blades on the top, middle, and bottom, so it has enough blades everywhere. It is also a pretty good pusher, and it is invertible.
C&BT1: Defeated by Tengu VII in Heat G.
FBSDS was conceived by Alexander MacWilliams and looks pretty impressive. It 35kg shell, heavier than the other ones in this fight, is powered by an Etek @ 48v, reaching speeds of 3456RPM, so its 18 teeth on the top and bottom will certainly catch opponents off-guard. It can even right itself with its own name panel, and it is shockproofed well.

Some awesome spinners in this fight and well have an opportunity to see what theyre made of as Whirligig heads in Allanons direction! Allanon is having a hard time moving and FBSDS moves in on Allanon as well. All shells are spinning at full speed and the big collision is coming...!

Whirly reaches Allanon first, but its Allanon who strikes Whirligig with the longer blades! Whirligig bounces away but is unharmed for the moment, and that allows FBSDS to strike!

Yep, thats done some damage all right! The left cylinder of Allanon has been smashed, the 5mm boron carbide being crumpled, and Allanon is spun around as the right cylinder starts to spin up. FBSDS is jolted back a bit but is stable. Whirligig is back up to speed and advances on Allanon again, who is still having problems moving around well. And this time, Whirly strikes right where FBSDS left his mark!
CRASH!!!!
WOAH! Talk about spinning force! Allanon has been absolutely trashed by that blow! The left side shell is broken apart, and the rest slides off, revealing a buffet of mechanics and equipment! Whirligig does not spin up to speed but heads for the pit release button, and as Allanon is trying to follow him - to stay alive - FBSDS crashes into Allanon without warning!

Allanon keels, as more boron carbide is strewn all over, and his left side drive is blown out completely! The Watcher is clearly afraid to get near these deadly cylinders, but Whirligig isnt too concerned with him right now, and, shell spinning again, is shuffling towards the obviously quailing Allanon, who can only go in circles now, but its FBSDS who smashes him again!
CRASH!!!
If this goes to a judges decision, Allanon might as well quit now as that left side is really destroyed now, and even the exposed wheel looks sad! Whirligig adds to the chaos again.

Allanon isnt out yet! His right side shell was still spinning and the blades caught Whirligig off-guard! And a small nick is seen in Whirlgigs shell, but FBSDS comes in again to obviously complete the destruction of Alex Holts bot.

Another hit to the left side, and Allanons left wheel is hammered badly! Not only that, but theyve reached an empty CPZ! Asterix comes flying out and tackles Allanon hard, sending the dual FBS toppling onto his side! Exa-Gore-Ic is also coming on over but it probably wont matter as Asterix has just about ended the match for Allanon. Whirligig isnt satisfied and Allanon is in for more brutalization!
CRASH!!!
Allanons right wheel takes a giant hit! The rubber is ripped, loose, and gone! That, I think, has REALLY done it for Allanon, and The Watcher seems to think so too. FBSDS, however, wont allow The Watcher through, as hes directly in front of the ref! Exa-Gore-Ic tackles FBSDS.
CRASH!
The claws take punishment, but FBSDS is withstood and shoved against the arena wall. The Watcher comes forward...and receives a shot from the arena saws. :proud: Whirligig again hits Allanon, determined to shred him to metal toothpicks!
CRASH!!!
The right wheel gets it again, and now devoid of traction and protection it buckles and comes loose, and that same blow sends Allanon spinning right into the corner! Asterix rams Allanon again and puts him against the wall, and The Watcher finally gets the hell over there and counts Allanon out, finally.

Ooh, a toughie. If May Tracks can get a good flip in, I think itll be able to dominate. Otherwise, F.B.S.D.S. could well shake those tracks loose.
2) Bull in a China Shop L.E. VS WHIRLIGIG 4.0
Basic tactics - dodge the disc, chew up the outer fibreglass and see I can spread the floor with electronics like the oilthirsty git I am. :proud:

1) Enter the May Tracks (7) VS F.B.S.D.S. - Im going with Steve here - Franks tracks to be rattled and broken by MacWilliams
2) Bull in a China Shop L.E. VS Whriligig 4.0 - Both of these machines are downright dangerous to fight, but the armour on Matts robot is fibreglass. Whirligig to hit, split, destroy, pulverise, batter, kill, annihilate (or any other word meaning to destroy:mrgreen:)
Keep the disc facing, itll absorbe the blows from the shell and deliver its own. and Lol, the electronics are in the fully protected wheels, so you can do what you like to the fibre glass :)
From what I remember, ETMT has armour around the tracks, so barring ETMT getting flipped onto its side somehow, FBSDS isnt getting at those tracks any time soon. Keep nagging away at it until I can flip it, then keep on it and try to pit it, or give it to the house robots.
For the other fight, Im predicting against the fashion. BIACS-LE will be more reliable, plus its armour is mostly sacrificial, wheras it only needs to damage the shell of Whirly once or twice to compromise the weapon.
Well actually, Im going to write the second fight first, as Matty and Steve have their tactics in already. :proud:

Whirligig is starting to spin his shell up but BIACS-LE is hurtling across the arena right at him! Whirligig turns tail immediately, but BIACS-LE is too quick and wallops his shell with the disc.
CRASH!!!
Whirligig goes flying across the arena, and BIACS-LE is only jolted back a few inches, and appears to be completely okay! Indeed the disc has absorbed the intense blow from the shell, and dished it back out! Whirligig isnt having the best of luck, as the shell took quite a bash there, and is slowly getting up to its high speed, but he doesnt have time to, as BIACS-LE without a second thought slams into him again disc-first!
CRASH!!!
Whirligig goes frisbee again, only slightly this time, and crashes into the arena wall, shell immobile, and part of the armour of the shell has been ripped up into the top of the FBS, rending it useless! Thats not good for Steve at all, but its about to get worse as BIACS-LE, having achieved his 4.7 seconds of spin-up time, approaches him again, and all this time the fibreglass shell hasnt suffered a single hit! Whirligig retreats away, being the faster of the two, and slams into the pit release button, and the pit goes down, down, down. BIACS-LE almost reaches him there but Whirligig again avoids conflict and goes away towards one of the arena saw hazards. WHATS THIS?! Whirligigs shell is starting to spin up to speed again! BIACS-LE continues to chase Whirligig down despite this, yet now the shell has reached maximum damage potential, and Whirligig is back in business. Before BIACS-LE can decide what to do now, Whirligig darts around and hammers his right side.
CRASH!!!
The fibreglass shatters upon impact, and pieces litter the floor as the titanium mesh crumples a bit, yet BIACS-LE hasnt been phased much by that hit, and responds by burying his own spinning weapon into Whirligig!
CRASH!!!
Whirligig is flipped into the air, and comes down heavily onto the arena floor, inverted, yet this time there is hardly any damage inflicted. Whirligig scurries away, yet not as quickly as before, possibly giving away the suspicious that something did happen, but the shell starts to reach dangerous speeds again. BIACS-LE spins up his own weapon but not quickly enough as Whirligig crashes into him.
CRASH!!!
BIACS-LE does the Tornado thing, spinning and spinning as Whirligig bounces a little, and spins up again. BIACS-LE comes to a halt, and suddenly Whirligig is out of control! Holy flying Mauler 5150 Batman! Whirligig is spinning almost like a coin, only a very thick and scary coin! :proud: BIACS-LE, knowing nothing better to do, races in and smacks Whirligigs underside quickly.
CRASH!!!
Whirligig is tossed again, only very far this time! He hits the wall and crashes down onto the floor as BIACS-LE continues his aggression. Whirligig gets away and BIACS-LE almost hits the wall, and Whirligigs shell is again attempting a spin-up. BIACS-LE isnt letting up and pursues Whirly once again. Whirligig is back at full speed and attacks BIACS-LE, dodging the disc and smashing into the left side!
CRASH!!!
Now the armours really taken a beating, as more of the fibreglass is destroyed, and the cage is looking rather sad, but again this has allowed BIACS-LE to attack Whirligig in return!

Whirligig soars, flying up, up, and down back onto the floor, righted, thus proving what 62kJ of energy can do. :proud: And hes right near the pit! BIACS-LE hurries forward looking to end the match but Whirligig gets away again...or does he? He went right into Obelixs CPZ, and now Obelix is making him pay for it! WHAM! Down comes the hammer and Whirligigs top armour takes a huge mashing! Whamlet heads over to Obelixs CPZ but BIACS-LE gets there first.
CRASH!!!
Whirligig flies up again, right onto Obelixs hammer arm, and the shell is looking miserable: great chunks have been ripped out and the blades are dented! Whamlet reaches the CPZ and shoves BIACS-LE out of the way, giving him a good thwack for good measure. Obelix brings the hammer down again and the arm sends Whirligig away from Obelix, and past Whamlet right to the edge of the pit, but Whirligig avoids death before BIACS-LE can take advantage.

BIACS-LE shoots past Whamlet and right at Whirligig, who avoids the hit but cant spin up his shell.

Whirligig heads over to the pit again but takes a hit from the arena saws causing some sparks, and BIACS-LE runs into them as well. :proud:

Whirligig rolls around the pit as BIACS-LE comes behind in pursuit...
