Microsoft and peoples internet settings - it may take a few days or hours for your computer or server or even ISP to reset a few setting and clear the cache and all sorts.
Try pressing F5 on a few pages etc.
In future for other web site viewing, it is recomended to check your internet settings and make sure the settings are set to Check for updates from web sites etc. Clear your history and offline files.

Cheeky young whippersnappers ;)
I have already been there done that and got at least one T shirt for each of those suggestions. Bear in mind that I regularly use hourly updated farm price and weather pages etc with no problems it is only this one page that gives me trouble.
Still no event sign up links to be seen anywhere. A quick scan of the HTML source shows the links but I think there may be a mistake with the coding. Busy day today so Im sorry I dont have enough time to work out exactly what it is.
There would appear to be no text or images associated with any of the links listed in the HTML on the very latest copy of the source that I can get hold of using any of the tricks or gimmicks that are not necessary for any other pages on any other sites I have viewed recently. It may be an issue with my ISP, but this leaves me asking why no-one elses pages do the same thing this morning.
Must dash as we have a large open day on the farm today. Could please you put Bernie down for all the events, Ill try and decipher the HTML and type in each page address manually to sign up online this evening if Im still awake.

I had a similar problem I couldnt see any pictures, it turned out to be my firewall blocking them.

Im sorry Tim if you seem to be having a problem, but the other 20 Teams seemed to have been able to do it. Firewalls are starting to block GIF images coz there animations and do have the ability to do OTHER things that normal jpg pictures cant do.
Also the new Windows XP Service Pack 2 has new firewall blocking facicities which are annoying.
And Tim - im not being a Cheeky young whippersnapper - just trying to help, and so was Alan.

Dont worry my tongue was firmly in cheek when I used the cheeky young whipper snapper line. Did you miss the smiley ;)
Thanks for the links Ill visit the pages when the kettles boiled and the coffees made.
Im going to have to get to the bottom of this intriguing problem somehow, my firewall isnt set to block animations and XP SP2 isnt installed yet as MS are apparently overloaded with requests and are therefore restricting downloads.

Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
It is with regret that the Robodome crew has decided to return to their grass routes thus being €œroboteers€Â.
However, this gives us the opportunity with the current Roaming Robots arena needing a major overhaul to bring it up to spec to reflect the current standard of shows including the winter tour.
The Robodome arena will now be used to give us the opportunity to compile an arena to take robot combat to the next level.
While some may say this is a step backwards sometimes it is good to step back before making a quantum leap forwards. With the new makrolon structure/roof and possibility of new unique style arena effects in the pipeline can see a bright future for all.
However, it is with regret that this means unfortunately we will not be able to run spinning discs for the first round of the Winter Tour and hope you understand and support our decision during this trial event. If it works then normal service should resume by Edinburgh with the new additions.
Tickets have sold well so there should be a good atmosphere at Newport - see some of you there.

So does this mean that at Edinburgh and the other venues you will be running heavyweight spinning disk in the main competition, or are you just talking of feathers

The purpose of this weekend will be to stand and look at it and decifer what the future is.
Im sure there will be a healthy discussion about everything.

Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
For those of us interested plebs who cant make it (and who rant at excessive length on the subject - okay, thats just me), could I ask someone to give us the gist of this kind of discussion? Itd be nice to hear the thoughts of those whove not yet got involved (at least on some threads), even though Im only a casual observer. Im not after minutes, but hearing what people think in general would be good.

Andrew,
You could look at the report of the last Yorkshire FRA Social earlier this month in Huddersfield, for some idea about what people around here are saying.

Just got bk from Newport. Great way to start the winter tour! Robodome seemed to have done the job well. Great location and a great turn out.
Weldone to Ripper for winning the event.
-
Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
Great event one of the best organised that weve been to. Really good atmosphere, enthusiastic crowd and excellent arena.
-
Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
What a great event. Ripper was great in the final. Only a few red mist moments and one momentary lapse in judgement was to be found. All in all, a fantastic weekend. Cheers to everyone.
The next time that any one sees Shane from Air just say Bing!
Mike.

Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
The event was brilliant, the arena if fantastic. Pillow Torque performed well and my driving has improved imensely(no pit to go down). Well done to Ripper who won the Heavyweight trophy, and congratulations to the RR boys for a great start to the winter tour.

Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
Was yet again a good event and made for a good challenge with the robodome arena. Even got a few holes in our armour for a change.

Fantastic event. Great crowd and great location. Looking forward to the next event so we can get our own back on Ewe 2 for lobbing us out of the arena! :)

Seeing as David and I wernt able to make it there - what is it about Bing?
Oh tell me pleeeeease!
-
Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
Good event apart from the inexplicable presence of an undriveable house robot thrashing around the arena . Im afraid it seriously spoiled an otherwise good day for me ;(
Merlin and St Aggro could sit still and do a good fair job, why did Kan Opener have to thrash uncontrollably around the arena?

Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
Exellent event, good atmosphere, if the rest of the tour is that good then we are on to a winner!
Congrats. to Ripper for winning the heavy comp. (Although some people may be tempted to cry fixed )
Also to Pillow Torque for taking the win in the feather comp.
A big thanks to jonno and the crew, looking forward to the next one.
(Oh yes...I almost forgot...*BING*!!)

Roaming Robots, Winter Tour
guys n gals,
firstly a big well done to everyone, what a start to the tour. !!!
I will be looking at the video about the houserobot issue, however on the whole thought it worked well.
It would have been a shame to have robots unable to do anything over the weekend due to early break downs, and did give the fights a little bit extra.
The new arena is superb, and with plans for improvements / additions, should get better and better.
The format worked, ( well i heard no grumbles ) everyone got one fight per show, and an opportunity to fight again in a final mellee, this gave a nice relaxed atmosphere, rather than a scrap to fill the white board.
Information will be sent regarding edinburgh early this week.
See some of you there !

Karoline,
I only got part of the story about the *BING*. Something to do with urinating, partial nudity, alcohol, some woman and a lift. How it all relates together I have no idea.
