First attempt at welding aluminium and its the 1.2mm thick arms

Unfortunately the heat distorts it... scrap :( start again.

8kg billet of 2014 aluminium will be turned for the head.

Tubes bent to create the head cradle

Pivot has rubber bushes to absorb the impacts
