And now the final battle of Round 2. :)

The champion ArchAngel of the Abyss scrapped Double Big Mac into miniscule pieces of shrapnel.

Asterix Heroicus rammed Hannibal into submission for the KO.

Asterix had the title stolen away from him by ArchAngels partner, Stop Crying Your Heart Out. Now, with that bot out of the way, will Asterix conquer?

ACTIVATE!!

Its on now as Asterix flies out and WHOA! Hit the road, Jack, because its safer than the arena now as ArchAngel has been absolutely smashed into the air! He comes down with an almighty crunch onto his back but rights himself, just in time to receive a shove from Asterix into the arena wall! ArchAngel seems peeved off and struggles off of the wedge. Asterix isnt impressed and hits ArchAngel again, preventing the upper shell from getting up to speed. The lower one, however, is at full speed now and dangerously cutting air in front of the house robot. Suddenly, Asterix backs up, and both shells are now up to speed. Alex isnt dumb and knows that Asterix is preparing to suicide-dive ArchAngel in the hope of killing the champ, and with Asterixs 50mph speed and high torque and power, that is all too possible. ArchAngel moves to the left, but Asterix is staying well away, and keeping the wedge pointing right at his adversary. Alex drives his bot over the closed pit and near the pit release button. Asterix, however, isnt dumb either. He moves into the corner, and points the wedge at ArchAngel again. ArchAngel doesnt move. Asterix guns the motors and bores down on the champ. He reaches his target.
WHAM!
AIEE! What a hit! ArchAngel has been sent flying over top of Asterix, who has been forced back into the pit release button, opening the pit! And ArchAngels lower spinning ring is going as he lands! This cant end well...
CRASH!
And the arena floor has taken a heavy hit as chips of material are torn right out of the very earth that the robots drive on! And ArchAngel is sent into the arena wall! But hes still spinning! Both spinning rings are almost up to speed again! Asterixs plan has failed! Or has it? Well have to wait and see as Asterix, who had taken hardly any damage from the aforementioned suicide-dive, repeats his tactic.
WHAM!
Sparks fly! BOTH BOTS HAVE TAKEN DAMAGE! ArchAngel is no longer spinning, and heavy clouds of smoke are issuing from the wheel slots and srimech opening! Asterix looks heavily crumpled...in fact, he cant use his front wheels! His front wedge has been torn INSIDE of him, and damaging his electronics, not to mention blocking his front wheels! He slowly rumbles forward and bumps into the now battered champion and pushes him towards the flame pit. Oh, visions of ArchAngels last battle are flashing through my mind...sure enough, ArchAngel is forced into the flames, and they burst around him, surrounding him. And with that, ArchAngel stops moving. And Asterix is trying to get behind ArchAngel to push him into the pit, when suddenly, he stops moving too. Alex is horrified. Again, his beloved full-body spinner is engulfed in fire, and at the mercy of the house robot. However, Asterix is immobilized too, and The Watcher shoves Asterix away before counting out ArchAngel.

ACTIVATE!!!

Taki is out and about, and Wheely Big Cheese is after her, hoping to get the flipper under and toss the ninjabot out of comission. WOAH! Taki goes flying OVER the flipper of WBC2, who fires the flipper too late and goes belly up. Taki reverses and cuts into the wheel hub with her blade, not doing much damage due to improvements. My, that was futile. Taki continues to flirt with the danger zone that is WBC2s flipping area. OH! Weve got a toss, and its a quadruple twist into a triple flip! :proud: Taki lands inverted just inside the arena but comes in immediately, waving aside the blow and rams one of WBC2s wheels, causing WBC2 to pull a wheelie big wheelie :proud:. James isnt impressed, and he drives WBC2 forward again, trying to catch that irritatingly agile house robot. Taki collides with the wall and slightly rides it to get around WBC2, but the big cheese tilts slightly and both rams operate the flipper again, connecting with Takis blade! Taki spins away and goes a little gyroscopic but manages to maintain control. WBC2 charges almost blindingly fast and gets the flipper under the tip of Takis left side. AHHHH!!! WBC2 sends himself into the air as well as his opponent! WBC2 crashes down snout-first and lands on his wheel, and then on both wheels. Taki wastes no time and rams WBC2s wheel. WBC2 is forced into a ridiculous pirouette by this; being angered now he slams the flipper almost Overkill-like onto Takis wedge. Taki does not go for the gusto, but carries WBC2 to the wall and stuffs him into the angle grinder, which cuts into WBC2s rear! WBC2 rides one wheel overtop of Taki. He seems to trying to point the flipper at the arena wall to force himself away from Taki. Taki turns and the blade hits WBC2s left wheel hub. No damage. WBC2 again slams Taki with the flipper, but wheels around clockwise and away before Taki can point the wedge at him again. And heres WBC2 with the charge! Taki meets him head-on and Taki gets the better of the axlebot, again stuffing the cheese into the wall wheel-first, and turning WBC2 over. WBC2 tilts the flipper and nicks the pit release button, but the pit does not open. Taki suddenly becomes more interested in pitting the opponent, and pushes WBC2 along the wall and into the pit release button. There we go, theres the siren, and we all know that the pit is now opening! And OH NO WBC2 has his flipper in the pit but NO! He escapes although theres a BANG and clouds of heavy smoke are whisked out of the pit! Taki is infuriated by this great escape, and she tries to shove the cheese in again, but WBC2 eludes her and goes all the way to the other end of the arena. Taki winds up and lets fly with a heavy slam against WBC2s right wheel. WBC2 is upended and Taki gets to his other wheel. WBC2 is now in a balancing act on his left wheel and suddenly and he turns and taps Takis rear with the flipper. How rude. Taki responds with another shove into the wall opposite. WBC2 bounces off and gets away from the pit again. Taki chases him down but WBC2, turning on the spot, slides the flipper under her side and holy flying skyline Batman! Taki goes about 10 feet into the air! She crashes down and again seems to shake the blow off, doing a dance. WBC2 interrupts her performance with a push but Taki sneaks away resulting in WBC2 flipping himself. Taki gets under WBC2s wheels again and this time WBC2s flipper is pointing at the wall! Taki rams him full force into it, and the wheels leave her wedge, and tilt up, up, up, and Taki activates the electric wedge for the first time tonight, and WBC2 goes wheels over flipper, landing on the arena camera track!

CEASE!

Wheely Big Cheese 2 put on a mighty performance, but in the end, it just wasnt enough to match his opponents power.

Play cat and mouse, get near a wall, drive out of the way when he rams me, see if I can take control of him from there.

WHOA! Asterix shot overtop of Shovearound and slams against the arena wall! Cut down on the caffeine, huh? :proud: Shovearound shoves his rear into Asterix and plows him against the wall. Oh my! Asterix is already inverted! The tables have turned in Shovearounds favour very early in the game as the 3rd place bot of the PTT5 turns around to give the robogaul a taste of forks, but finds that his quarry has escaped. Asterix hits the pit release button, taking the cowards way out, and Shovearound slams into him again, reinverting Asterix thanks to the rear shape of Asterix. Asterix will not fall in the first 10 seconds of the match and shoves off, but Shovearound pursues him. Asterix turns around and tries the charge again. Zilch. Asterix does the circus jump again and lands behind Shovearound and almost kisses the arena wall. Shovearound spins on the spot to show off to the crowd. Now Asterix is really cheesed off and, turning around, attempts another charge. Shovearound moves away, and allows Asterix to go flying over the left skirt, resulting in Asterix careening straight into the arena wall at high speed. He bounces off of it and lands right onto his side, immobile. Game over already?! Shovearound starts celebrating by spinning around wildly in a crazy twist. Asterixs wheels spin futilely as The Watcher starts to count out his fellow crew member.

WBC2 is applying his tactics immediately: keep the flipper pointed at the opponent. Asterix does not jump the gun this time, or in this case, the flipper :proud:, but goes and hits the pit release button. Taking the cowards way out, are you? WBC2 lunges at Asterix with the flipper and gets under the side! WHOA! Asterix was nearly tossed over the fence FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ARENA!!! Erm...that flipper is really powerful...Asterix lands with a loud crash and on his side...WHAT?! Another short match?!? It cant be! But no, it cant, for WBC2 is not finished yet. He uses his flipper as a thwacking device to tip Asterix back over, but he is now inverted and weakened considerably! WBC2 moves in again and tries another flip, but misses. Asterix rears into WBC2 and almost inverts himself. WBC2 backs into Asterix at the same time...and it happens. Asterix inverts himself...right side up! So that was what he wanted! Asterix drives away, and seems to have recovered from that hit! Was it wise to allow Asterix to return to battle? James shakes this thought out and WBC2 attacks again. Asterix dodges the charge and wedges the wheel. Thoughts of Tornado doing this just sprang through my mind but WBC2 reverses and Asterix overshoots the push, and is directly in front of WBC2, who slides the flipper under! And we get another hugely impressive toss! And thats the battle, for Asterix hits the railing, bounces once, twice...and out. WBC has won the 3rd Place Play-Off!

thing is, there isnt THAT much Taki-san can do to Shovearound 2... yeah, hes destructive and yeah, hes a good rammer, but meh...

Shovearound 2 enters the arena and spins around a bit to show off. This skirted box has already beaten Exa-Gore-Ic: AI, Double Whamlet, and Asterix Heroicus. Can he defeat his opponent and prove himself to be mightier?

Team Gores...TAKI-SAN!!!!!

Taki-san backs her way into the arena and spins around to face her enemy. This heartless-to-the-eye killer has laid waste to Leprosy Infection, Flick of the Wrist, and Wheely Big Cheese 2. Is she powerful enough to defeat all who stand in her way?

Roboteers, stand by!

There is no referee here! It is a one-on-one duel to the finish!

The final battle commenceth! The ninjabot slowly advances on her opponent, but Shovearound aggressively charges her. Perhaps wanting to finish this quickly, but Taki spins around and exposes the cutting blade! Shovearound plows into it anyway!
CRASH!!!
OH NO!!! Shovearounds forks have been hit with a heavy blow! but Shovearound is taking Taki right to the wall! WHAM! Taki is crashed against it and falls back on top of Shovearound! But Shovearound reverses, and Taki falls off of him. The house robot takes the electric wedge and shoves it in Shovearounds forks, but Shovearound shoves back. The forks slide under the wedge! Shovearound has her! He goes to ram her against the wall, and Tony hits the button that activates the forks...NO! The forks are immobile! Shovearound has had a weapon disabled! But nonetheless Taki is again smashed against the arena wall and tips up, the wedge pointing at the sky. Tony moves his bot backwards, and Taki falls off backwards, inverted, but still with full energy. Proving this, she goes for another ram, and succeeds! The wedge gets under the forks, but Shovearound is spun on top of Taki and over the side, with the forks upraised. Does that mean they are working again? YES! The forks come down, and up and down again, and Tony waves to the crowd to signify that Shovearound has indeed recovered from the blow!!! But Taki is not that easy to be rid of. She takes advantage of Tonys distraction and rams Shovearound, only to be caught up on the forks again! Tony turns his attention back to Shovearound, and Shovearound carries Taki to the pit release button, which opens the pit, of course. Taki escapes and runs away, going for a big wind-up. Shovearound comes at her again, but Taki is at her running start and there she goes! Under Shovearound and WHOA! Holy flying robots, Batman! Taki pulled an Asterix and shot Shovearound right into the air! Shovearound, thankfully lands cat-like and seems to be okay. They turn again to face each other. One could only tell what these two behemoths are planning to do next...Shovearound makes the first move, diving with the forks upraised. Taki seems surprised by this and tries to back away, forgetting shes up against an arena wall, and turns too late: the forks collide with her side and bounce away, but the marks, namely many holes, have been left. Before Taki can get er bearings back, Shovearound makes another desperate lunge, this time with the forks down, and Taki is thrown up onto them. Aha! Shovearound has her again!! But as he turns to the pit, Taki shoots off of them like a greyhound jumping a hurdle at a dog show, and lands rather gracefully. Her cutting blade spins back up again, and Shovearound is cautious, not wanting to lose his forks again. Instead he hits the spinner button, and the spinner to the left of Taki whirls about wildly. Taki does not let this act of futility distract her, but advances on Shovearound with the cutting blade. Shovearound swerves to just pass her and the blade nicks his left skirt! But that was what Tony wanted, as Shovearounds forks, get in under the side of Takis front wedge, and lift upwards, and the cutting blade hits the floor! Instead of a big crash, an incision in the arena floor is made by the blade, which is still spinning, though slower now. Shovearound lifts more upwards, and the blade makes full contact with the arena floor!
CRASH!!!
Taki is sent flying across the arena, crashing down heavily, and 4 feet removed from her cutting blade! A smart tactic by Tony and Shovearound, to remove the ninjas blade, so as to save Shovearounds forks from destruction. Taki is slightly panicking now, and slightly sad, and not really doing much now, moving about randomly. At one point she goes over the spinner, which, ironically, spins her around, and right onto the forks of Shovearound! And get this: SHES IN LINE WITH THE PIT!!! Taki struggles, but to no avail: Shovearound advances, reaches his destination, and with one BANG, receives the crown worn by ArchAngel of the Abyss last tournament! Taki, in the pit, raises the wedge, acknowledging her defeat.

Taki-san proved to be strong inside herself, having defeated many dastardly creations and evil revisions. However, she had met one she was long doomed to meet. It was long, and it was brutal, but Taki-san finally fell. And even then, and now, she accepts the fact that...
