Roaming Robots, Winter Tour

I have had another meeting with the entertainments company and we discussed your comments and suggestions. We have decided, that all teams which have signed up to support the tour up to today 9th March 2004 will have a chance to have there say at the following.

We will be inviting teams to attend an evening dinner within the next few weeks, all paid for by us, giving a chance for a nice social night where people will be able to air there views and ensure this tour is as enjoyable as possible for the roboteers.

The venue will be a large hotel in Warwickshire. How many per team / dates and times to be decided soon, more info to come when decided.
Like we said, we want this to be a great time for roboteers, not just with the robots but the social side is just as important throughout this venture.

We have looked into the dates of the tour, and possible dates are as follows:

Round 1 - 18/19th September
Round 2 - 2/3rd October
Round 3 - 16/17th October
Round 4 - 30/31st October
Round 5 - 13/14th November
FINAL - 27/28th November

Possible cities are as follows:

Leeds
Milton Keynes
Newcastle
Edinburgh or Glasgow
Cardiff
London

We are looking into the venues and dates, depending upon what is available, but the venues we are approaching are the sort that need to be booked NOW rather than later.

If people want to raise issues and make suggestions either to discuss here, or at the social please feel free.

Well have our feather Arrowhead ready by then. Well, theres only about an hours work left on it so I certainly hope so!
