Hi I was sorry to miss the last social I was rather busy moving house & job. Im in Bury St Edmunds now. And my modem broke so I couldnt get on line so missed the posts.
Id deffinately want to attend will drop U a mail Ian. Bunch of roboteers on Go Karts sounds like a recipe for chaos :)

Would the kart track me able to equalize kart weight? being 30% heavier than most (twice their weight in some cases) I dont mind loosing, but a fair fight would be nice for once. Failing that does anyone have a truckload of slimfast?
LOL, Me james and dad will be up for the go-karting! Can we bring our spare karts along? then it might be a little more even :).

Tim is welcome to fat up for the day to, should be fun, but unless someone wants to give me a turbo then fat-karts is my only hope.....
.... unless anyone wants to go car racing, they are allowing alcomers to test Formula Palmer Audis at Beford now, all you need is £800 and a national B race licence. Id happily forgo the weight equalization in that.
After reading how competitive you lot are I think Ive got an option with a twist for you.
The plan at Red Lodge Karting Centre min 8 drivers required.
A 50 lap race plus 4 laps of qualifying to choose grid positions.
Trophies for 1st 2nd and 3rd
Followed by a BBQ at the track watching others racing and if your still keen to have a grudge race you can use the arrive and drive and have another go yourselves. (We bring our own food and BBQs). I can bring my gas one if needed in a trailor. Those not wanting to race can sit and watch and enjoy the BBQ.
Cost £42 each for those Karting.
I propose a Sunday to arrive for the race late morning 11.00 am ish. As it takes about 2hrs from arrival (about 30 minutes on the track) to complete followed by the BBQ Lunch from 1pm onwards.
I now need availability dates and names of those who want to compete emailed to me as previously requested. If we get enough drivers I might give you other options.

If people are willing to attend other dates please let me know
If people email confirmation of the dates they can attend then when I get enough competitors to book with Red lodge I will then contact everyone with the confirmed date.
