Re: UK Kilobots - 1.362kg (3 lbs) Combat Robots
I believe Hypno-Disc put out 4kJ with every fully-spun disc hit, I can't remember whether this was in S3 or S4, but you saw how easily that tore apart Robogeddon, Stealth, The Predator, and most noticeably Splinter, and those were all around 80kg. 280J should be more than enough in a 1.362kg spinner. :)

could u use to of these as a cluster bot? http://www.robotmarketplace.com/product ... X8800.html
Re: UK Kilobots - 1.362kg (3 lbs) Combat Robots
You probably could, but I saw one of those back at Barnsley and they are...not incredibly fast.
Re: UK Kilobots - 1.362kg (3 lbs) Combat Robots
It has infra red control which although allowed in the rules will probably get a lot of interference from other light sources, is very slow, probably has no failsafes and will probably be smashed very quickly seeing some of the spinners being made.
So overall not worth the hassle to make it competetive.
