lol, atleast lichfield is a good place to take your test. Good roads and not much traffic. I would recommend taking your test around 10 in the morning though. Almost no traffic when i took my test there :)
mines 8.20
i dont mind traffic - wouldnt mind being stuck in it for half an hour lol
the worst is the muckley corner roundabout tho - terrible up there at that time lol so that could be me problem if they take me there
hmm results time
my sister got into staffordshire uni
my missus is going to take driving lessons again after the summer. i am not looking forward to it really as we have just bought a new car and its a fact that most people who pass their test have a crash or bump of some sort. £££££££££££
hard day at work, can i get a strongbow swanny?
Swanny, buy her a Robin Reliant or something when she passes, and tell her its a classic car specially for her alone. That way the new car stays unharmed. :)
weve got a nice red ford KA for sale !!!
fantastic first car. Been promising kirsti a new one for 2 years !!
12 months MOT just passed, and would put 6 months tax on it for her.
Going cheep at £900 :)
I like KAS, ive been looking for a cheap car, grrr
mr stu works the bar in here james. MR STU ITS JAMESs BOW TIME
leo thats a damn fine idea. i just might get her a banger to run about in till she can drive proper :)
yes boys and girls
premiership starts sunday
lears landin at villa park + gonna win lots of money betting woo
Make sure you call it a Classic car swanny, and not a Banger. It makes so much difference if you label a product correctly. :)
hmm test is now 1.35pm
ppl say that ppl dont pass in the afternoon hmmm
ill prob get another cancellation neways lol
I passed in the afternoon. Took me 5 attempts to pass my test mind you :P.
At least Im a safe driver unlike some of my freinds. My unseen team mate chris wrote his car off 4 months after passing his test!
took me 11months to smash mine up.. i know someone who smashed one the day after passing though lol
i miss my old claped out corsa lol gave it to my mate who i crashed into as a pressie cos his car was a right off lol it got crushed last week  ive had a nice new fiesta for a few months now though.
corsa vs micra = corsa wins.
Car wars :)
took me 2 weeks to break my first mini
Joy riders jumped a red light and smashed the front.... never stopped, never got caught. grrrr
Luckily i fixed it myself, so didnt cost much !
Car Wars round 2... Mini vs Mini - Mini Won
i broke 2 cars before passing my test but wont go into that
Building the world...... on now!!!! 12 oclock

2 of me m8s have wrote there cars off and there girls and still there insurance is half the price of us boys
Never crashed into anything:proud: and my insurance is stil sky high
hope you were touching wood grant if not go and touch some now
I found calling the examiner a tit didnt help your prospects of passing. Ifelt I had bags of space and he flinched and I thought it was distracting so I told him. On my next test................
Andy
i went through a red light and failed big time. as if. a red light. cant believe i didnt see it. oh the horrible memories
Oh and on the subject of knocks, Id always advocate joining the AA with relay.
I was forced onto it but was quite glad when I was travelling from Manchester to London on the back of a relay wagon after totalling the car on the back of another one.
Andy

jonnos tip of the day.... negotiate... negotiate.. and nogotiate.
2 weeks ago i made a big saving !!
AA.. my renewal from came through, and it was going to cost £144.... I phoned them up, and said that i wanted to renew, however thought the price was too high, and a friend of miine was getting a better deal, and i might go and see what the RAC had to offer.... they put me through to customer services where they reduced it to £97. ching ching !! :)
I phoned virgin to see what savings i could make... i told them my wife had just had a baby, and we were feeling the credit crunch and might need to cancel our package or look at other alternatives as the price was too high and we are moving in a few months.... they again put me through to another department
Eventually after some haggling... I now get medium internet, small tv package ( dont need it ) and free calls on my home phone 24 / 7, and im making a £5 saving a month !!! Plus normally they say you cant cancel in mid contract, just taken out another 12 months contract with a special note allowing us to cancel it at any time !!
New York.... Went to the travel agent to book our trip to new york in december..... managed again to negotiate it down, and because we are going with friends, we both got free insurance dropped in with it :)
Moral of the story.... nagotiate on everything !!
Waiter.... id like a full english please this morning when your ready... and a cup of tea, two sugars and milk. TA
After my car breaking down at the Burgess Hill event, I rang Direct Line and they told me I had not renewed my policy  but they would tow me home for about £800. After getting my Mum to go through my paper work she found the renewed policy, after about 3 hours they finially sent someone round. In the end I got a refund for the 6 months previous and another 12 months free, but I had to have my car details changed 3 times as they kept changing the Reg, colour and mileage to random things each time they sent the new paper work.
Shame really as I used them once before, within an hour I had been towed to a Garage of my choice and they had a hire car waiting when I arrived.
Virgin are good for negotioating with... I have for the past 2 years
were on virgin
have been since i can remember
there the best
jonno knows why lol
i might use jonnos reason to get my insurance cheaper - my wife has just had a baby and the credit crunch has nearly put us on the street and i need a car to get to work lol
LOL, let us know how you get on with that LJ
sorry i cant make it in to work again tonight as i am sitting in the Grafton hotel in London, on the plus side Spearmint Rhino is just down the road so when the commander in chief goes to bed i can go and earn some extra spending money and learn some new moves..:)
going to see Spamalot and visit a sushi bar in 5 minutes.
Scary imageClive, very scary!!
That said Im sat by the pool in Naples just catching up on a few things, so I think Ill kill those images with a few more beers.
Andy
PS: Bet Ive got just a tad more sun than you!!
I got a mate who works in the Virgin Media Customer Services Dept. So im sorted for Virgin Media when i finally move out and get it all. lol. And a mate who works at Orange to get me staff minutes etc.
If anyone has a problem with Virgin or Orange, simply ask for their Staff Emp Number and ask to speak to a team leader.. then that member of staff will do nearly anything for you ;) They get mega scared. lol
Mr Stu
oh meant to say though, only do this if the person your speaking to someone who sounds like there reading off a script or ok there good but not major good means there not already a team leader. If you speak to a man who sounds like he knows what hes doing, hes more than likely already a team leader then they turn around and go I am the team leader and then i was like - oooohhh errrr, welll im still not happy. LOL. But you very rarely get a team leader, there lazy sods. lol
Mr Stu
we are no longer the nights who say ni
we are now the nights who say15.60 for 2 gin and tonics i think you must have mistaken me for a tourist and Andy judging by the vast array of accents you didnt have to go to Naples

has this bar closed down now ?
I think so ! Its back to a load of men chatting about nothing LOL :)
is that not what you do in a bar. a load of men and women chatting about a whole lot of nothing. if you dont like it then go to the other bar down the road. sheeeesh
considering, that ive een waiting for a breakfast for two days, its just not good enugh.
Im out-a-here to the bar down the road which is called Clives Bar !!
