Pussycat armour would make a great wall hanging, but even better it could be part of a pussycat replica someday. Looks like the auction is going to a good cause too, I'll be having a go for it. :)
I gotta start painting bits of polycarbonate......
Awful nice of him to sell a gift on for profit...
Also, only 20% is going to charity, so he still gets like 20 quid if it sells for the minimum
tbh scouts don't count as a charity either imo.
I sense a bussiness in painting replicas and selling them on ebay...Quote:

If that's a Lynch, then what is a Lem?
I think I know what an Etek is....
So what is this!?

Confused.....
I think lynch and lems are the same thing, but eteks are american
yeh, lynch and lem's are the same. eteks are alot cheaper but weigh considerably more. that motor is a similarly designed high powered motor.
Lem = Lemco/L.E.M.C.O = Lynch Electric Motor COmpany :)
Although nowadays they're LMC.
I'm now making a 'Ahhhhhhhhhhh' sound of realisation.

BEWARE : Went to buy some of that 400 wear plate a few months ago. I went through buy it now, few days later he called my home phone telling me I also had to pay VAT on top of the buy it now price although it's against eBay's policies so I didn't bother buying. But that was when he was charging £75 a sheet, best thing get in touch and ask if it's the final price if anyone is interested.
Was having a poke around for Bosch 35s (with no luck) and found a few interesting things.
I don't think any of them will be fitting for my project though, so feel free to bid/buy.

any 1 tryed these ESC out befor
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130554115725? ... 672wt_1037
would probably work alright, it won't be 110 amps mind. harry used some even worse '160amp' ones before on 2 12v drill motors and it seemed to work.
Noticed that earlier, decided to go with the others, but should do the job :)
The wire and connectors tells you all you need to know! Those would melt easily at 110amps. I suggest they could probably comfortably handle 10 real amps cont.
They probably won't have linear ramping forwards and backwards, or even if they do notice the reverse current is rated at 40A (in real terms it's likely to be much less)
ok thanks for the info i was just seeing if there were any cheaper and as good esc than the 50A boat 1s
Anyone any experience of these? seem mighty cheap...............
