Round 1
Dantomkia (15) vs. Axe-O-Lotl vs. Wild Thing vs. Maximum Velocity
Major flipping frenzy. Wild Thing was thrown over the fence by Maximum Velocity early on, and then after a whole match of flipping weaponry, Axe-O-Lotl just completely gave out. Unable to get it out, though, Dantomkia pushed it onto the drop zone where a piano was dropped on it.
Steel Avenger (20) vs. Back to Rock III vs. Behemoth vs. Assegai
Steel Avenger just wasn't able to cope with the scoop of Behemoth, and they were pitted halfway in. Assegai, having been dealt with by Back to Rock III, shoved Martijn's machine into the wall and rammed it, but wasn't able to avoid being lifted into the side of Back to Rock by Behemoth. After pinning it there, Back to Rock got out and shoved Assegai towards the pit, but Assegai got around it...only to meet Behemoth and get shoved in anyway.

Round 2
Dantomkia (15) vs. Behemoth
Basically what happened in the Series 7 All-Stars. After failing to get around the scoop for a minute, Dantomkia got under the side and flicked it over the fence.
Maximum Velocity vs. Back to Rock III
Back to Rock's shape really helped it here; Maximum Velocity kept flipping but BtR rolled over and came back on the attack every time. MV actually suffered a lot of damage through the sawblade on BtR and the judges decision was barely given to Back to Rock with damage swinging it.

Dantomkia (15) vs. Back to Rock III
The match was all Back to Rock, lifting the experienced machine all over the place and sawing its sides...until one wedging by the seed took place. From there, Dantomkia drove BtR into an abandoned CPZ, and flicked the Dutch robot out.

Round 1
Tough As Nails (16) vs. Chalkie 3G vs. 259 vs. Slice 'n' Dice on Steroids
Chalkie was ganged up on immediately, and though it stood up well at first, the beatings of 259 and SYNDOS took their toll and Chalkie was immobilized. Then 259 and SYNDOS began to beat up on each other. Tough As Nails had a very hard time grabbing any of the competitors and struggled a while, but a nice hit from SYNDOS toppled 259 onto its back from which it could not self-right, and saved TaN from a judges decision it would have lost.
Iron Awe 5 (17) vs. Panicking Still? vs. Killotine: EVO vs. Supreme
One flip was all it took to cause Supreme problems from which it never recovered. It tried in vain to self-right, but the short hammer reach hindered it. Panicking saw what was going on, and as Killotine opened the pit, Panicking shoved Supreme down the pit...in turn paying for its courage as Iron Awe 5 shoved IT down the pit! :proud:

Round 2
Tough as Nails (16) vs. Killotine: EVO
Several times Killotine tried to axe and drag Tough as Nails down the pit. Each time it failed. The one time Tough as Nails managed to sneak a rear attack on the axed McGregor robot, proved to be fatal. Down the pit went Killotine: EVO.
Iron Awe 5 (17) vs. Slice 'n' Dice on Steroids
Extremely short match. Iron Awe 5 got hit twice within the first few seconds, but recovered and IMMEDIATELY flew under SYNDOS and ejected it from the arena. It then went after Shunt and did the same to him, and eventually turned over the outraged Dead Metal too.

Almost a repeat of the TaN vs. Bulldog Breed fight, but Robert Grimm went one further at the end, and through a flipping and pushing match Iron Awe 5 managed to get Tough as Nails over the fence with only 15 seconds to go!

Heat J
Round 1
Mute (14) vs. Bigger Brother vs. Glasgow Kiss 2 vs. Flaming Hell
This was havoc. All three went after Flaming Hell, finding it the most dangerous. Dave Weston and Flaming Hell managed to hold them off well though, and within a few massive blows Glasgow Kiss was immobilized. Bigger Brother then had a marvelous chance to get it up and over but just failed, leaving it open for Mute to come in and get it OOTA...almost. It bounced off the railing. The Watts family didn't like that and went after Mute. After a few misses with the weaponry, the 14th seeds were turned over by the 5th series runner-up and tried unsuccessfully to self-right...and then Flaming Hell barged then and knocked the flipper, disabling it. The good news is that this turned Mute back over, but the worst news was that the resulting judges decision saw Mute get eliminated.
Tetanus Booster (19) vs. Disc-O-Inferno vs. Delirium Tremors vs. Wedge Devolution
Disc-O-Inferno was the star of this fight. Set upon by Tetanus Booster early, it slashed the drum and thus disabled the 19th seeds' weapon almost immediately. It was then rammed by Wedge Devolution and flipped but came back in to have a good-sized smack at the sides. This left Wedge open for a heavy blow from Delirium Tremors, sending the Scot wedge careening across the arena, but this in turn left Delirium Tremors open for a disc blow from Disc-O, who tore the tire off one of the wheels (but not ripping the wheel off). This hurt Delirium Tremors' traction and while Zarte was trying to adjust that side to where he could have a proper 4WD again, Tetanus Booster opened the pit and surprisingly shoved him down! Unfortunately that was as far as Tetanus ever got because Disc-O-Inferno had another go at them, jamming a side to where Tetanus' mobility was hindered. Steve got the plan and decided to help Disc-O rid the arena of Tetanus Booster. In the end, it was flipped into Sgt. Bash's CPZ, who further damaged the mobility of Tetanus by shredding through a wheel with its claw. Disc-O slammed into it again and that was the end. Tetanus Booster was counted out.

Putting my money (And an after eight mint) on Flaming Hell and Wedge Devolution.
Round 2
Bigger Brother vs. Wedge Devolution
Wedge Devolution just proved too low to the ground to get under effectively, and Bigger Brother was unable to plan any sort of attack against it. Conversely, Bigger Brother was fast enough to avoid Wedge Devolution for most of the match. Wedge Devolution got a few flips in, but Bigger Brother was able to self-right after each attempt. It went to the judges, and Wedge Devolution won every category, but not by much.
Flaming Hell vs. Disc-O-Inferno
This proved disastrous for the seasoned Robot Wars veteran. Within a few hits the disc was taken out of commission, and then Flaming Hell just went to town on Disc-O, completely ripping off panels, warping the disc, and ended it all by tearing out enough of Disc-O to get at a wheel and tore it completely out. Very destructive match.
