Holepunch!
My drumbot will aim for that bulky side or rear of Holepunch, its that simple, but time will tell if it will be simple to pull off too. SHA's attack weapon is wider than Holepunch' so it will have less trouble lining it up and aiming it, but heck, that's all theory. Also, SHA has no big chunks of body panel to crush down... if anything is attacked by Holepunch, please let it be the drum, so that Holepunch will hurt itself before it hurts SHA. Given SHA's tracks, Holepunch will have a hard time truely wedging SHA, SHA's tracks will probably be on the ground at all times, which means that if he threatens to catch me, I will drive away ASAP (hopefully after doing some damage first).
Would be cool if I can topple him over more than once.

Attack him, Rolling pin can move quicker, at least in a straight line anyway. XD Keep disk pointed at him, since it doesn't really matter where I hit him since he's all drum, and send him back to the kitchen where he belongs. :proud:

And off we go! It's the former champion off to the quicker start, surprisingly, and Martijn wants to bury that drum right into the sides of Holepunch, or rear if he can get it! But Holepunch is looking the more careful of the two and is making sure to keep the front pointed at SHA...so nothing is really getting done. SHA drives around, Holepunch turns. And this goes on for a while, unfortunately. The crowd isn't too happy with this! Something had better happen soon, gents! And something eventually does! Holepunch overturns, exposing its side! Something that Sheer Heart Attack won't say no to!
CRASH!
One gratuitous SMACK later and Holepunch finds itself inverted! But not for long, though, as the curvy rear end acts as a rollbar and turns Holepunch back over...with SHA chasing! SMACK! Sheer Heart Attack gets in another hit before Holepunch can even drive away! It's not as big a hit, but Holepunch is again overturned! And SHA shoves it against the wall! Oh no! It doesn't look like Holepunch can roll back onto its wheels from that position! And I think that is it, as the former champion backs off to admire his work! The puncher fires, but that doesn't help Holepunch one bit! And now the countout is coming, what a disappointment...

I don't think this is how Team RCC intended to go out, but they've gone! And now...the house robots can have a go - here?! And what is Sheer Heart Attack doing?! It's gone after Sgt. Bash! SMACK! It's FLIPPED Sgt. Bash! And we know Sgt. Bash can't self-right! And the gaul is not happy, but having slammed Holepunch away...the crusher can re-right! And now it's 2-on-1! A smirking Leo decides to help Martijn rid the arena of the DarkZlayer! Well you'll have to be quick boys! Asterix rams across the arena, straight into the drum of Sheer Heart Attack, and literally sends it flying! Carrying through its momentum, it slams the landing ex-champ into the wall, and it bounces away! Holepunch is back, though, and he attacks Asterix from the rear - ooh! A lovely clamp there! It's wedged the house robot! It's beached the house robot! It is carrying the house robot over to the pit...and Sheer Heart Attack is going towards the pit release button! Really now, you menaces! Picking on our poor robots! Down goes Asterix, oh he WILL remember this humiliation!

Holepunch 2.0 couldn't dent the ex-champ's spirits, but he certainly punctured the house robot's pride! ;)

Gabriel V vs. Shovearound 2.5: I shall be leaving the skirts on Gabriel off since, if Shovearound does get under me, I want to be able to drive straight over the top and back down again, and the skirts would impede that. Also it would probably get underneath anyway :P
I am fairly certain that if I charge head on at Shovearound, deviating slightly from the vertical and scraping the nose on the floor, the front steel point will go between the forks on Shovearound and bend them out of the way, allowing me to cruise straight in underneath (or possibly leaving me with a helpless three tonne robot stuck to my nose). From there I shall try and flip it into either a damaging house robot, or into the pit, or out of the arena. If I do manage to bend those awfully thin looking forks it will probably lose a lot of its front lowness, so the chances of it getting under are small.
Bobcat vs. MicroForce 3.0: I am really glad this isn't TransparANT as I would be out of the arena really quickly if it was, heh :P I shall use the superior speed from the gearmotors to get around the side, get under MicroForce enough for the crusher to go down and hold it there, and then just drag it around to the edge and get it over. Should be (note 'should', this is an indication that it could all go wrong kiddies :P) fast, quick, andefficient.

Raging Tempest (12) vs. Symmetry
From Gainsborough, seeded number 12...Raging Tempest!
Meant to bounce away from the competition rather than stay near, is your basic cylinder with a 4mm Hardox ring, invertible, and UNbasic two LEM130 motors powering that ring...able to generate 70kJ even while bouncing away! It's not got the best drivetrain though, nor good pushing ability...or top armour, for that matter.
C&B1: (as Tempest Evil-er-oution) Fell to Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus in its Heat Final.
C&B2: (as Tempest Evil-er-oution, seeded 14th) Made it all the way to the Grand Final, but was denied a title by Sheer Heart Attack, losing a close judges decision.
C&B3: (as Tempest Evil-est-oution, seeded 2nd) Gave out more than it could, but Envy took all that and more, and the battered realie managed to pit the beast just before the clock ran out in its Heat Final.
From Hoogvliet, Holland...Symmetry!
A large robot, nearly twice as big as its opponent, with 2 counter-rotating discs powered by Perm 080 motors, the armourment is Hardox, the drive is Bosch 750, the drivetrain is 2WD...but 4WD in actuality like Crushtacean. It won't last long with only 4 blocks of Li-Ion batteries though.

The super spinners head straight for each other! Tempest isn't near full speed yet, though, while Symmetry is! They crash, predictably...
CRASH!
And the collision isn't that impressive, but it does send Tempest flying backwards, with no real damage done. Also remaining unsuffered is Symmetry, who is back on the aggressive. Tempest is spinning up again, and this time he's building up steam! Symmetry IS at full speed now though, and gets to Tempest immediately!
CRASH!!
There's a bigger collision and Tempest ricochets into the wall beyond, while Symmetry is spun around into a 900! Yes, I counted all that. Again there's no signs of damage between the two, and Symmetry turns around to attack again! But this Tempest is running away to spin up better! Symmetry chases him down, but Tempest is quite near maximum spinning capacity! And he achieves it just as Symmetry smacks into him a third time!
CRASH!!!
Tempest pinballs away like a hockey puck off the boards, while Symmetry just spins in place from the hit! There's very little evidence of damage on Tempest's ring...but I'm not too sure whether it's doing any damage to Symmetry either! Or at least to its bottom disc, which keeps hitting Tempest. And now it's back on the attack, some courage, this. Tempest is away, spinning up, almost caught, turning away, Symmetry closing in...too late!
CRASH!!!
Tempest rebounds directly off the wall and back into Symmetry, stopping Leo's creation from spinning around too much, and...well Tempest doesn't have the best pushing power but look at this! It's trying to push Symmetry backwards! Well the motor advantage Tempest has, but it has...very little traction on the arena floor which helps it when trying to get away, but not in a pushing match! Symmetry on the other hand is able to get all its drivetrain to the arena floor and that's enough to push Tempest backwards! Frank realizes this and tries moving backwards, but Symmetry's after it - ooh...nearly a nick from the arena spike there, be careful to avoid that, gents. They're spinning again, and ah! Tempest's away! Towards the middle of the arena! It's spun up! But look at the determination of Symmetry, it is aggressive as all hell here and not afraid of the spinning ring at all! Well I know I would be, and here now comes an equally aggressive Tempest!
CRASH!!!
OH! Goodness me, even I could feel that one! Tempest goes pinballing again and Symmetry is moving around...hang on...what's happened to the bottom disc?! Has it lost all power?! Has something...discombumbulated it? All the biffing and bashing from the ring of Tempest, has it disabled it?! There really is no external damage, but - ey! Symmetry is back in Tempest's face again!
CRASH!!
And is spun away, just like its prey! How much more can these two take?! ...Tempest's bounced into a CPZ! With Matilda in it! Oh no!
CRASH!!!
And Matilda's flywheel smacks into Tempest's ring! It's flipped Tempest! It's ripped Tempest! It's got Tempest stopped from spinning up! It's got Tempest about to take a slam from Symmetry! And that attack...didn't do much. Ooh...Matilda's spinning back up! Tempest tries to get away, but Symmetry is...backing into it! It's pinned Tempest! And Matilda comes in again!
CRASH!!!
THAT'S IT!!! IT'S OVER!!! Tempest has jumped the fence!!! Oh dear!! Do you see now the power of Matilda's flywheel? Just a brutal shot directly to the ring of Tempest...and out shoots the C&B2 runner-up! What a terrible shock! But Symmetry has won this battle!

From Oswego in the USA...Shovearound 2.5!
Missed the last Wars, but back for a third shot. Hasn't changed much, with Hardox armour, electric-powered lifting forks, and a very powerful 4WD. Basically a powerful compact, skirted box, but the said skirts don't seem too great inverted though.
C&B1: (as Shovearound 2) Destroyed by Warrior SKF in its Heat Final.
C&B2: (as Shovearound 2, seeded 16th) Flipped out early by Knightrous Wedge in a Round 1 shocker exit.
C&B3: Didn't compete.
From Pontefract...Gabriel V!
Now HERE'S something different...a triangular pyramid with a front hinged flipper. Has a front nose cone for getting in underneath opponents (with two spikes to serve as thwackers) and two large ears to stop robots driving over it. Also has Hardox armour, C40-300 MagMotors, and removable skirts under the ears, but control may be an issue.

And the robots charge straight at each other, what a surprise. What is surprising is Gabriel V getting under straight away and tossing Shovearound onto its back! Oh dear! Not a good start for a former Heat Finalist! Shovearound is now scurrying away with its more powerful drive and Gabriel is right after it! Shovearound hits the pit release button...how predictable. And Gabriel gets underneath from behind and slams it into the wall! Another flip and Shovearound is smushed against the wall! He falls back down after a little bit but is still inverted! Gabriel won't leave it alone and rams it again, getting underneath those skirts and tossing it against the wall again...Shovearound goes along the wall and into an empty CPZ! Growler zooms out! He...goes up the forks and into the corner? Growler, you funny little dog, you! Now we have Growler stuck on top of Shovearound and Gabriel backing away from the scene, wondering what to do! Shovearound can't exactly move because there's too much pressure on the wheels, not to mention Growler could be directly jamming a wheel with his body. Whatever the case The Watcher comes down and shunts Shovearound. No movement...The Watcher can't really count Shovearound out because this is the house robot's fault, so The Watcher tries to lift Growler. ...no luck, I'm afr - HAHA! The Watcher overbalances and falls on his face!! :proud: Oh dear! Hey now, what are you doing, sir?! Gabriel is shunting the ref...pushes him into Growler...um, no that's not going to work, Joey...Count Bleck is starting to come over now...Gabriel gets the message and flies outta there, but Count Bleck comes for him! Maybe it's because you attacked the ref, Joey! ;) Whatever the case, Gabriel now drives around the arena trying to avoid the house robot...

And there it is, we have to pause the match because three robots are stuck...dear oh dear, come on, get off of Shovearound, you fat mongrel! At last, there we are. And The Watcher is re-righted. Thank you, reliable crewbots. Now, then, shall we resume?

Count Bleck returns to his CPZ as Shovearound drives straight at Gabriel...oho! Shovearound actually gets under Gabriel this time! They're going for one of the CPZs! Here comes Growler again! WHAM!!! Ooh, Gabriel's ear! It's nearly caved in! What a massive smash! And now Shovearound tries lifting Gabriel over...not in such a position, my friend! Growler shoo's them out of the CPZ, and Gabriel gets away. Now rather cautious, Gabriel tries going after the sides. He doesn't quite achieve this and Shovearound gets under Gabriel's side! There's the lift, and there's a ram towards one of the discs of death!
CRASH!
Gabriel takes it on the other ear, which is gashed up now! Not to mention he gets spun away from that solid smash! Shovearound is right after him, now seemingly in control, but no! Gabriel turns and gets under the forks again! He pushes Shovearound...onto the arena saws...BZZT! Ooh, Gabriel gets a bit of a nick there, watch out. Gabriel goes for the wall...let's see if he can do it! NO! Shovearound is only flung into the wall, not high enough Joey! Shovearound however falls back onto Gabriel and now Gabriel has more leverage...there it is!! Shovearound is out of the arena! Score one o'er-the-fence for the front-hinged flipper!

Bobcat circles MicroForce who just charges out. Neither come into contact with each other, but MicroForce hits the wall. Bobcat charges as well and...misses. :proud: MicroForce turns and shoves Bobcat into the corner and holds him there...for 30 seconds! How rare. Eventually MicroForce has to let go of him and...Bobcat goes after him. Bobcat actually gets to the side this time and tries to clamp MicroForce but Andy drives his antweight away quickly. Bobcat is after it but MicroForce turns...to see Bobcat go right by it! :proud: This actually favours Joey since now he can get close enough for a side clamp and does so! The crusher lowers, and...doesn't go very deep, but it's a grip on MicroForce nonetheless! MicroForce doesn't have any wheels on the ground now and Andy can only watch as Bobcat makes its way to the arena drop-out area/pit (slowly, though, Bobcat has to manoeuvre to get himself perpendicular to the edge of the pit) and drops...or tries to drop MicroForce in, but can't? The crusher won't raise? What's going on? Knowing nothing better to do, Bobcat just drives in, MicroForce shunted ahead first.

MicroForce 3.0 becomes MediocreForce! The itty-bitty rambot is 'force'd out of the running! :proud:

A pair of most q00ty fights there :) (...yes...q00ty, it's one step up from w00ty and not a typo at all, hehe :P) and I don't just say that because I won either.
Tactics here...I shall leave the skirts off since they're not much use anyway against spinners, and try to manipulate Leo's machine into the house robots and/or the pit. I'll avoid the weapon where possible since both discs look quite dangerous, although I think the angled shape of Gabriel will reduce their impact a bit.
I should be able to outlast it if it comes down to attrition.

Gabriel is away...towards the pit release! Symmetry stays where it is, simply waiting for Gabriel to make its move. Apparently surprised Leo didn't follow him, Joey directs his machine now to attack Symmetry, and he...changes tactics again? He hides behind the arena saws. Symmetry...doesn't move? Um...The Watcher is indeed curious, he nudges Symmetry to make sure it's worki -

And THAT is what you get for your curiosity, ref! A nick on the front wedge! It's turned Symmetry aside slightly but hasn't stopped the bottom disc entirely, and it's back at full speed now. Gabriel hasn't tried to take advantage of this, it looks rather pensive...okay, Symmetry is actually moving now. Backwards? What are you trying to do...lure him in? Come into my parlour said the spider to the fly, after all...I don't exactly think this is the greatest fight we've seen yet, but we're only half a minute in. Gabriel suddenly rushes out behind the saws! Symmetry is on the move...oh for Pete's sake! Gabriel has put itself behind another pair of arena saws. Symmetry backs away, they're being very careful about this, this is a very tactical match...although you'd think Gabriel can withstand some shots from those discs with its Hardox shell...Gabriel is in pursuit now...oh hey! Symmetry is close now! Can Gabriel get away in time?

I think not! A nice hit on one of the spikes on the nose cone, but...really, no damage! And NOW Gabriel moves in, now he wedges Symmetry, and NOW the house robots can feast! Gabriel dumps Symmetry into Dead Metal's waiting grip, the sparks fly...oh dear. Cassius...hehehe...Chrome, oh dear. Do those fists do anything but move its prey backwards? I'm not too sure...what we are sure about however is that Gabriel is in control of this match...or is he? Dead Metal may have a grip on Symmetry but it's only from behind and the discs are spinning at full tilt! And...Cassius Chrome isn't afraid! Would you be?

I would! I really would! Look at the damage to Cassius Chrome! It's nearly sheared the scoop off! Look at that, a beautiful hit directly on the edge of the scoop...it's only as strong as what supports it, as we all know! And Cassius Chrome knows he is in deep trouble! Here's Gabriel underneath the house robot! He's turned turtle! Ganging up the house robots again, we will remember this! And Dead Metal will certainly remember this, he's let go of Symmetry, he's after Gabriel V! I don't think Joey is daunted by the silver scorpion, though! HEY! What's this!? Symmetry attacking Dead Metal from the rear? Not the best hit but quite a provocation! Symmetry is pushing into Dead Metal who's tried to turn around and retaliate...and here's quite an attack from Gabriel V! Right underneath the side of Dead Metal, it's balanced on there by Symmetry on the other end, up goes the flipper! Dead Metal is flipped! And the house robots, again, have been totally humiliated...Dead Metal closes and retracts his pincers pathetically...oh, and hey! Gabriel is right back into the actual fight! It's wedged Symmetry, and it's brought it to the arena wall! One flip later and Symmetry is on its rear end! No 'over the fence' for you, Leo! But that may not matter because I don't see any way Symmetry can get out of this! And...hehehe...this was great fun, oh, it still is. Gabriel is pushing Cassius Chrome across the arena...towards the pit. The Watcher just...ignores this sight...hehehe...over he goes to count out Symmetry! Gabriel's won!

The Deer's claws are perfect for my flipper to play with. Get underneath 'em and flip it all over the place. Go for the OOTA or, if things get hairy, go passive for the pitting.

Wedge Devolution (10) vs. The Deer
From Glasgow, Scotland, seeded number 10...Wedge Devolution!
It is your basic wedge...or is it? 4th time competing, it has Hardox armour, skirts at the sides and rear, above-average drivetrain which is good, a powerful rear-hinged flipper with frontal scoop, so a good all-rounder here. Last time it had its best run of the entire competition, can it go all the way here?
C&B1: Shocked out in Round 2 when, after flipping over the house robots, Terrorhurtz managed to outlast it and beat it in a judges decision.
C&B2: Went a step further but again got beaten in a judges decision, this time by semi-finalist Axeon 3.0.
C&B3: (seeded 19th) Another step above its previous foothold, however this time it lost by a pitting, courtesy of Paralyzation 2.
From Kelvedon...The Deer!
Unchanged from previous wars, an invertible box with 15mph top speed from 2 Magmotors powering 4 wheel drive, has Hardox armour and skirts at the sides and rear. Main weaponry comes from horizontal crushing arms shaped like deer antlers, curiously enough, giving out a maximum of 8 tonnes of pressure. It has no wedge protection from the front though, I'm afraid.
C&B1: Didn't compete.
C&B2: Pitted by eventual champion Sheer Heart Attack in Round 2.
C&B3: (seeded 28th) Damaged by DreamCatcher early on and immobilized in the first round.

Let's have a look...ah! House robots! Shunt's in there, with the diamond-edged axe and bucket scoop! And repaired from the 'accident' we had earlier in the series, Sir Killalot, with the claw and lance.

The 10th seeds are off to a quick start and why wouldn't they be? The Deer comes straight at them but they've been wedged already and tossed! Down comes The Deer and splats down inverted! Not the best start, but it's about to get a hell of a lot worse because Wedge Devolution is underneath them again, the rear skirt providing little protection as the 10th seeds get under and The Deer gets a lot of air! Steve isn't quick enough to lower the flipper, however, and as The Deer lands, it rushes forward and stops the flipper from going all the way down, ah...and now the pincers close, before the VFT6 champions can get away! But who has the more powerful drivetrain here? It is indeed the Braveheart machine, and The Deer's plan is not working at all, even when Martyn thinks it has! Wedge Devolution turns its adversary and is pushing it towards the pit release button, ooh...ah, The Deer lets go! It doesn't want to go down that pit! Unfortunately, Wedge Devolution shunts him into it anyway, and scoots off, the sides having taken little punishment from the claws there! The Deer has to make something happen here, because this has been pretty much all Wedge Devolution straight from the start! Martyn directs his machine at Wedge Devolution, but again can't seem to get anything going for it; Wedge Devolution is under those claws and under the body, and flips it over again! Before it can even turn around Wedge Devo is under it again from the rear, but thinks better of flipping it...until it gets to the wall, that is! And out goes The Deer in a spectacular flip that eliminates it from its third war! Wedge Devolution adds another OOTA to its scorecard, but finds that it's become rather bored, and decides to have a go at house robot Shunt!! What is the meaning with all of you, attacking the house robots?! Sir Killalot is immediately out of his CPZ, but Wedge Devolution has already found the side of Shunt and has flipped it! And before Shunt knows it, HE'S out of the arena too! Ref, stop this nonsense!

From Merthyr Tydfil in Wales...Monsoon Season!
Winner of one of our regional tournaments, this Atomic-a-like has a front 4mm Hardox ramming plate that can be used as a high-pressure flipper as well, with a 3cm HDPE shell also protecting it. LEM-drive, tracks, 15mph top speed, it's the stuff champions are made of. Or, well, this champion. :proud:

Cosmic name for sure, it's inspired by another machine. A spinning rim at the rear powers the rear-hinged flipper at the front. It can run inverted, yet if need be it can self-right, and it has strong armour and drivetrain...smells a little overweight to me. And if you stop the spinner, it's weaponless.

Given Daniel's simple tactics of 'ram it', that's just what Monsoon is going to do! And indeed here's a good ram into the front flipper of NSJ, who can't get away in time, and is gotten under and flipped! And what air! NSJ is thrown about 10 feet into the air! :proud: It comes down HARD into the arena-floor...rim-first!!
CRASH!!!
And Samuel didn't like that collision one bit! Look at the damage done to the arena floor, it's carved a great slice into it! We WILL fine you for that! :angry: And NSJ bounces away, but it's clear that such an impact has impaired the weaponry already! The rim is not spinning at all! And Monsoon comes in to take advantage! He gets under the flipper again and WHAM! smacks NSJ straight into the wall with enough force to nearly and neatly break the arena wall itself! However he tries for the OOTA too late and ends up flipping himself! Thus, NSJ gets away, and gets under the side of Monsoon as he's righting himself, and begins pushing him towards the pit release button! Monsoon however is able to drive off quickly, and ironically this helps him get at NSJ's side and under it for another ram! There they go to the wall again...WHAM!!! That could have broken the sound barrier, mind our poor ears, Mr. Stickler! Monsoon calculates where NSJ will bounce away to, gets back under it, and shoves it towards Exa-Gore-Ic's CPZ! WHAM! Straight into those gargantuan pincers, and now NSJ is being squeezed into ghastly submission...all while Monsoon simply continues to ram into the spinning, er...ex-spinning end of it! Here comes Damocles...Exa-Gore-Ic's spike fires but doesn't seem to hit anything...actually it is, but it's glancing off the front flipper of NSJ, but not really achieving much! Monsoon is away as the other house robot comes in and moves to hit NSJ...
CRASH!!!
But it's not enough to dislodge NSJ from Exa-Gore-Ic's grip and the hit simply sends the combined 500kg weight upwards slightly! It has, however, made a huge dent in the ring, so there's no way that's going to spin up again! And now Exa-Gore-Ic lets NSJ go...who slowly moves away from the house robots, and into the waiting plate of Monsoon Season! A scoop-up and toss later and NSJ lands on top of Exa-Gore-Ic! That was rather cheeky, Monsoon. The house robot moves out and turn around and grab NSJ for more punishment, which he succeeds in doing because NSJ is moving much too slowly to get away. So Damocles sticks around, and Monsoon backs away from the 4-way drummer in order to survive! Exa-Gore-Ic moves NSJ into the waiting drum of Damocles again...
CRASH!!!
It's the front flipper that takes a blow now, and what a hit! It forced Exa-Gore-Ic himself back too, and flung them upward a bit! He lets go of NSJ, who is moving even slower now and can't seem to get away before a jubilant Monsoon Season roars in and pulverizes NSJ against the wall nearby! WHAM!!! NSJ bounces away and simply tries to get away from it all, but Dan isn't having any of it! He scoops up NSJ again and rams it against one of the retreating Damocles' drums!
CRASH!!!
And THAT sends NSJ flying! About 5 feet into the air and 6 feet across, I think! And...NSJ is no longer mobile! I don't think I would be after all that battering, really! Would you be? But Monsoon isn't merely content with even this! Here's another scoop-up and ram across the arena from our Welsh fiend! WHAM!!! The seemingly lifeless carcass of NSJ bounces away and is definitely and completely still! Monsoon still isn't done, and rams it towards another arena wall...aha! A toss! And that's it! NSJ totally overpowered and a final farewell boot from the arena seems fitting. Next Stop: the Camera Tracks! :proud:

ROLLING PIN F.T.W: When vertical and horizontal spinners meet, the result is never pretty. The plan here is to aim for the sides and simply bludgeon Innis to death. Don't give it a chance to recover or bring its own spinner into play. If for some reason Innis' disc is not spinning, like it needs rerevving or something and I have a clear shot, only then will I attack head-on. A few good blows ought to knock it loose and leave it useless, allowing me to continue bludgeoning away happily.
WEDGE DEVOLUTION: Monsoon Season is very similar to me, save for its tracks, and those may be its downfall. Use its lack of skirting to my advantage by attacking the sides (This should be achievable, since I think I'm technically the more manoueverable) and pushing it onto the Kill Saws. If I can keep feeding it to them often enough they should be able to cause some serious damage to the tracks. If this proves to be codswallop, focus instead on feeding it to the House Robots and/or throwing it out the arena altogether. My skirts should give its own flipper a hard time, but I'll avoid the front as much as I can regardless.
Loving the clashes thus far, Kody. Can't wait to see how badly I do. :P

Once again, we go horizontal vs. vertical! With basically the same drives for both weapon and movement, the two spinners appear to go straight towards each other! At the last second Rolling Pin FTW makes a movement to the side, and Innis is a bit too slow to try and Rolling Pin's wheel, leaving Steve to attack!
CRASH!!!
Innis is flipped right over by the monumental power of Rolling Pin's full body drum and the aluminium already looks badly scarred! Innis drives off to try and recover from this but Rolling Pin is in hot pursuit! Eventually Innis has to turn around...but Rolling Pin anticipates this and moves around...but this time its control messes it up and it drives right by Innis. Trying to get his machine under control, Steve turns it around but overturns a bit, and Innis gets a direct smack on one of the wheels!
CRASH!
Oh dear!!! It looks like this battle just turned on its head! Rolling Pin's wheel has been smacked, not off, but out of place! The same hit has sent Innis flying away, and directly on top of the arena saws, which cut into Innis! BZZT! But I'm more worried about Rolling Pin FTW! It's wobbling around, completely unbalanced, the drum's gyroscopic tendencies coming to full light! Tracy directs her machine towards Rolling Pin, clearly intent on taking advantage! Steven is again trying to regain control of HIS machine, but Innis is easily able to manoeuvre around the wobbling drum of doom, and gets another direct hit in on the damaged wheel! WHAP! ...and that has to be it! NOW the wheel is off!
CRASH!
OH! And the drum hits the floor! And sends Steven's robot away...into the wall! He's not going to recover from that! Rolling Pin lamely spins around while Innis moves back in! Tracy isn't satisfied with merely amuputating her opponent's machine - she wants to make sure it stays down! Thing is, Rolling Pin is still moving...in an arc, and she can't catch it. The Watcher is over to count it out, but Innis doesn't want to wait for that! Unfortunately you're going to have to!

And there it is! Innis moves on to the Finals, and Rolling Pin FTW...to the loser go the house robots! Scarab's eggbeater whirls menacingly as the beetle bot approaches! Innis wisely retreats as Scarab moves in...

The drum takes the huge hit, and there are great tears into the drum already! Anti-Virus has opened the pit - WHAP! Ooh, Innis has found the other wheel...but is unable to tear it completely off! Both spinners - Team Alt and house robot alike - back off now as Anti-Virus - WHAM! Oh goodness me! What a slam! Rolling Pin FTW actually flies overtop of Scarab and onto its rear end! Innis is still determined for the complete wheel-ectomy, but there's not enough time, m'lady.

Let's have a look...oh! Growler's in the arena! Good dog! And across the arena from him, Sgt. Bash!

ACTIVATE!
Monsoon wants to get his opponent out...but the seeded machine isn't so keen to let this happen, easily at least! Wedge Devo races around his tracked counterpart, eager to see if he can get around the Welsh machine. This he indeed does, and penetrates the side, but Monsoon manages to get away and Wedge Devo nearly flips himself! The delay caused by this allows Daniel to get at Wedge Devo's own sides, but the same thing occurs as Wedge Devo backs off and Monsoon flips way too late, also nearly overturning himself! Wedge Devo moves back in but Monsoon turns to get the plate in and what we find is a head-to-head collision, precisely what neither of them wanted. After a little pushing by Monsoon, Dan is able to get Monsoon's flipping plate under Wedge Devo's flipping blade, but Wedge Devo backs off before any flippage can happen...but Monsoon is at its heels! Wedge Devo manages to get away as Monsoon tries to go after it, but its tracks do hinder it slightly here, as Wedge Devo's nippy four wheel drive allows it a quicker getaway! Steve McGregor returns to his original tactics, having found them work once before, and work they indeed do again! Only this time, Wedge Devo actually manages to flip Monsoon Season onto its back this time! It was nearly a 360 too, but Monsoon hit the other side and bounced off! Wedge Devo is under it again but - goodness me!! What a self-right! Monsoon Season activated its flipper and sent itself rocketing across the arena! Back on its tracks, it turns to find Wedge Devolution in its face again, but this time the 10th seed is lower! Monsoon however makes a quick back turn and Wedge Devo nearly ends up eating wall! However, its skirts help protect it against Monsoon's rough shovings, and Team Braveheart gets its nasty flipping beast out of danger. Monsoon gives chase now, but the position re-asserts itself as Wedge Devo dodges and makes for the sides again!
Daniel now tries a different approach, and as Wedge Devo circles around, Monsoon makes a spin in the other direction! This takes Steve completely off-guard, and Wedge Devo's side is exposed! Monsoon guns the motors and breaches the skirt for a second time, getting under the main body before the Wedge can retreat and tips it over! Wedge Devo immediately self-rights but Monsoon is quick enough to shove the plate in before Wedge Devo lands - oh! It's wedged on the plate! Monsoon roars towards the arena wall...and Wedge Devo fires its flipper! Monsoon also fires its own, but Wedge Devo fell off a bit, and thus Steve's machine, instead of being sent over the fence, is flung straight into it! Monsoon loses control and crashes right into the inverted 10th seed with its plate open, and it comes back down...weakly clamping it. What an odd turn of events. Wedge Devo again tries to self-right, but fails. This does dislodge it from Monsoon's clamp, and as Monsoon lowers the plate, Wedge Devo self-rights once more and gets the hell out of there! A scary moment for them there, and Dan is enraged! Monsoon is back on the attack, but Wedge Devo dodges the charge. Monsoon attempts its tricky spin again but Steve is ready and snakes in before Monsoon Season can complete its turn! Monsoon fires its flipper to try and lift itself off the plate...and does so! Wedge Devo fired the flipper and flipped itself! Had Wedge Devo not done that, they would have take Monsoon to the wall and that would have been it! But now Monsoon Season is in control! Wedge Devo self-rights, but onto the plate of Monsoon - oh dear! They bounced right off it and onto the side of the plate! Monsoon turns, but that causes Wedge Devo to fall right off the plate and onto its wheels! Monsoon pushes, but Wedge Devo backs off and Monsoon exposes its side again! Before it can recover, Wedge Devolution is under it and brings it to the arena wall! Monsoon tries its flipping trick like it did before, and is tossed into the wall rather than over it! But Wedge Devo lowers its flipper quickly, and as Monsoon tries to right itself, Wedge Devolution picks it up and a final flick...decides the match! Monsoon gone, it's over!

Gehenna (8) vs. Lime-y
From Shrewsbury in Shropshire, seeded number 8, Gehenna!
Plight of the wicked indeed! Front-hinged flipper coupled with a 10kg spinning blade in the rear means trouble for the opponents! Pretty much impervious to everything and has decent 2 wheel drivetrain, but may run out of flipping power. Previously called Son of Ripper, Andrew Jackson's veteran is back for a fourth shot!
C&B1: (as Son of Ripper 5.0) Flipped OOTA by Enter the May Tracks in Round 1.
C&B2: (as Son of Ripper 5.0) Did much better this time around, but met a gruesome end in Round 5 as eventual runner-up Tempest Evil-er-oution tore it to shreds.
C&B3: (as Son of Ripper X) [seeded 4th] Fell in Round 4 when Nitro-Gene 5.0 got him inverted, and later on got under the wedge part to catapult him from the arena.
From Patricia, Canada...Lime-y!
B damnit! Wait...err, never mind. The jolly green flipper can toss you about for an entire bout. 4WD, Hardox armour, and a pair of side skirts help accordingly, and 15mph top speed keeps it under control, but the length of weaponry looks a bit much coupled with a narrow attack area. Will it be juiced lime for Tracy Farber?

Count Bleck returns from his disappointing run in ARC...to resume his role as house robot! Get that flamethrower back in there...ah! Joining him is his fire-breathing partner Sgt. Bash!

So we have two robots trying immediately to get to the other's sides...and in this Gehenna is more successful! Under the skirts it goes (naughty boy! =O) and under the main body! Everybody is waiting for the flip, but Andy denies the audience by merely shoving Lime-y into Sgt. Bash's CPZ! The drill sergeant, or rather, flame sergeant, torches the lime green paintwork of the long flipper as its claw digs in, but not getting that great of a grip on Lime-y. Andy tries to hurriedly turn and whack Lime-y with the spinner before Lime-y can get away, but Lime-y escapes both of them and what ends up happening is Gehenna smacking Sgt. Bash with the rear! Hardly CRASH worthy, but it's sent Bash aside a bit. The sergeant chases Gehenna away with a howl of flame, then returns to his CPZ with a snort. Lime-y again tries to get to Gehenna's sides but the 2 wheel drive of Gehenna deftly evades that and sets Gehenna up itself! This time, however, the side skirt does foil Gehenna's attempts, and in doing so Lime-y spins around and gets under Gehenna's side! Tracy activates the flipper immediately, and the 8th seed is launched across the arena in a great gust of smoke from Lime-y! Gehenna bounces off its side and lands on its back, and as it self-rights, Lime-y gets back under and promptly launches it again! This toss however is terminal, and Gehenna crashes directly down onto its rear, again tipping over, inverted! It self-rights and gets away before Lime-y can take further advantage, and guns for the sides again. We're back to square one, it seems! Faking a sudden turn, Gehenna slides directly through the side skirt and up under Lime-y's side again, and this time it's to Count Bleck's CPZ that they go!

And the hit is massive! Lime-y is bashed away, losing its right side skirt entirely and sporting a small dent in that same side! The playing field tipped in Gehenna's favour now, it chases Lime-y down. It now easily outmanoeuvres the green launchbot and sends it into Sgt. Bash's CPZ, but its spinner seems to not be working. Sgt. Bash tries clamping onto Lime-y again while torching it, and is marginally more successful this time. It has a better grip, but cannot penetrate the armour. Gehenna moves off to open the pit while Lime-y seems rather helpess in the grasp of Sgt. Bash, and things look worse because Bash is headed for the arena spike! Pop, pop, pop...there goes the small grip Bash had, but Lime-y can't be feeling good after those spears to the belly! Even worse, Gehenna is back in the game! However, Tracy is determined not to let Gehenna get at Lime-y side, and so carefully moves Lime-y backward. Gehenna tries to swing around and then fake a turn, but then Lime-y moves forward completely. Andy, expecting nothing of the sort, tries driving off in a panic but the flipper of Lime-y is already activated...uh...FA-LIP!!! Gehenna is launched across the arena again, and lands hard on its side, and tips onto its back. Lime-y's there under it again and tosses it before it can self-right, and Gehenna nearly jumps the fence from the middle of the arena! Thankfully, however, he doesn't pull an Axe Awe and bounces off the edge and back in, on its wheels! Did all that buffeting and those impacts damage the internals, though? We'll have to wait and see! Gehenna moves...yes, a bit sluggishly now! Lime-y however can't get to its sides by itself, though, having had to rely on Gehenna's daring! This opens up an opportunity for the British veteran, and it hits the side of Lime-y, the side that still has a skirt, and tries to dig its way fully under! Lime-y simply backs up and in its haste Gehenna drives forwards past, exposing its side again! Lime-y is under immediately and just as immediately, it flips! Gehenna is airborne and again nearly is OOTAed, but crashes back off the railing and...onto its back! It self-rights, but Lime-y's there! There's another flip...and a third dream is shot to hell for Team ???, as Gehenna crashes disappointingly on the other side of the fence after a well-fought fight!

From Gainsborough...The Crashing Bore 2!
Remake of THE oldest vapourbot on the circuit! This box-wedge is compact in dimensions, and slightly similar to Mousetrap with a spiked trap powered by two LEM130s, and a lifting wedge. The drill also returns, with 50kgs of downforce to run you through...powerful, tough, very lively after all these years. :proud: It has high ground clearance under the skirts, however.
C&B1: Absolutely destroyed by Mass Disctruction Ultimate 3.1 in Round 1.
C&B2: Again got beaten by one of Aaron Knight's bots, this time by eventual grand finalist Infusion, in Round 2.
C&B3: Didn't compete.
From England...M.O.R.D. 2!
Otherwise known as Master of Robot Destruction 2, or the winner of NSBFL 7! :proud: Whatever the case, it's basically Tornado with a much wider drum and a lifting scoop in front of it that works either way up! Made out of titanium and PERM motor driven, it's another one of the golden oldies, yet not as old its opponent. Its camshaft movement, however, may hinder its manoeuvrability.

Everybody cheers the oldest vapourbot going, and why not? It's off to a great start, slipping off to the side of MORD2 instantly before Richard can even try to defend himself, and getting under slams the trap down on the titanium armour! The grip isn't that great at first, but Crashing Bore lifts the wedge up too, and MORD2 is in its clutches! It wants to end this battle now, so off to the pit release they go...and Crashing Bore actually reverses into it! The impact doesn't release Crashing Bore's grip on MORD so good thinking there, and Richard tries moving the scoop, but that doesn't break the grip either! And...I think this match was over before it started! The Crashing Bore 2 is back as it easily zooms towards the looming pit and deposits MORD2 into it, in what is surely the quickest fight of the entire championship! Great start, my foot! Great follow-through, and great finish! ...but what's this? ...dear me, you aren't trying to attack our house robots again, are you?! :angry: Blasting towards one of the occupied CPZs, The Crashing Bore is underneath Shunt already, and lifts him over! Matilda is already halfway across the arena with the flywheel, but The Crashing Bore moves awa - AAAAAGH!

Matilda nailed Shunt! What's gotten into you?! Poor Shunt has a massive carve in the...rear shovel wedge, but Matilda can't be horrified enough because The Crashing Bore lifts her over next! And it wants more! It's after The Watcher! But ha! The referee is under The Crashing Bore with its lifting arm and tips it onto its back, and with a push across the arena pits The Crashing Bore 2 on top of MORD2! Score one for the referee, and deservedly so! :angry:

And so the two massive, but not TOO massive lightweight spinners spin up...their outer shells gradually gaining hundreds of revolutions per minute...per second! And before we know it, they have reached catastrophic speeds! And all that's needed...is a big bang! Will we get one? Ziggo and Ground Zero move towards each other...very slowly...well, Ziggo zooming off-course and having to re-orient its path. Ground Zero is on it...but Ziggo isn't backing down...and eventually...
CRRRRAAAAAAASSH!!!
The impact nearly breaks the sound barrier!!! ...what in the flipping eff?!? The...they've flipped each other! And there are massive, MASSIVE scars on their shells...not to mention the fact that they are now at opposite ends of the arena!!! Neither are spinning, and...neither of them have their wheels spinning from what I can see up in the commentary booth, so neither are getting up from that one!!! So...unfortunately, the only thing we can do is send this one to the judges!!! Blimey, I'm shaking!

And we start off with a very tactical display here as The Crashing Bore heads...for the pit release button. Rather early for that, Mr. Goacher, wouldn't you say? Lime-y's after it though, and crashes into TCB before it gets to the button, and there's a flip! No skirt will prevent that penetration, as TCB's rear one finds out, and Frank finds his machine overturned...and on top of the pit release button itself!! Will it self-right? I don't think that it can...not from that angle! But Tracy goes for the OOTA! And...it's a flop. What's more, TCB lands sideways and underneath the lifter! Lime-y clamps down on it (rather weakly) and tries to drag TCB over to the pit of oblivion...but with a little firing and lifting of its weapons, TCB jarrs itself free and gets away...only to find Lime-y pursuing it!! A quick spin around finds Lime-y with its flipper blade underneath the lifter of TCB, and with a flip...only jolts TCB up slightly, allowing Frank to fully take advantage! Or does he? Lime-y backs off as TCB moves in, and the flipper is lowered safely! Obviously Team Bored are not very happy about this, but less happy when Lime-y tries a different tactic and spins about, knocking the side of the flipper blade into TCB's front edge and spinning it aside like a thwack! And Lime-y gets at the sides again...ah. That's where the skirts defeat the flipper...but can TCB get by Lime-y's, as it's gotten to her sides now?! Oh yes! Lime-y pulls back, trying to drag TCB away from the main body, but no dice! Under goes the wedge! And down comes the trap - OUCH! Now that is a good hold, look at the dents! And up goes the lifter...meaning, this fight has entirely spun on its head! What does Frank want to do - oh yes, he wants to win! He wants to drag his prey to the pit for the easy victory, and there it is! Lime-y is deposited in the pit...The Crashing Bore 2 moves on to the Series Semi-Finals, and its comeback in the robot world is imminent! ...but not this night! Dead Metal has gripped the Bore machine from behind, and shunted it down too! House robot revenge for sure, we have long memories, yes! We remember our previous encounters! Mark our words, there will be more in store...

Incidentally I am finally getting around to updating my forum with fights and stats from this tourney. The only set of storage stats I am missing are Dendroaspis' (Richard's site closed down :( ), which happily I already wrote the fights for. It would be nice to have them, though, so if anybody can get a hold of Richard that would be nice. :)

Orka RV (6) vs. Maximum Genocide
From Onehouse in Suffolk, seeded number 6...Orka RV!
Has competed in every war thus far. Now resembles a box-wedge shape like Comengetorix, with a narrow flipper that can right it. Runs invertible, has titanium armour and decent driving ability, but with 6 wheels it could be hard to turn. Much different than MK4 in previous wars.
C&B1: (as Orka MK4) Went to the final four, but was ousted at the last by a pitting from eventual silver medalist Clawdius Decimus Murderous. Beat Aneruysm in the play-off to get the bronze.
C&B2: (as Orka MK4) [seeded 3rd] Shock Round 1 exit when Voltronic and Liar ganged up on it and eventually Liar sent it over the fence!
C&B3: (as Orka MK4) Met more success than last time, but was taken out by Shane Swan's Envy in a close JD.
From Cardiff, Wales...Maximum Genocide!
A newcomer with a amazing get-up of spinning weaponry. It's a 3WD translational spinner with a spinning blade on top! Both the claws on the ends of the robot and the tips of the blade reach out the same to inflict major damage. Both the weapon and drivetrain have 3 MagMotors powering them, so while the blade may spin up quickly, the actual robot spinning speed may be fairly slow. It may be tough to KO though with 4mm Hardox armour, but its self-righting properties look questionable.

The blade of Maximum Genocide spins up quickly, but as the main translational body of Genocide itself tries to spin to speed, in comes Orka RV to stop this whirling madness! Genocide barely gets to 1/3rds of its top speed when Orka crashes into it, getting knocked away a bit, but hurries back in and gets under one of the claws! Immediately, Orka wedges him, and shoves him into the arena wall...with a toss! And the blade hits it!
CRASH!!
And already we've got some major fracture action...to the arena wall! A large chunk of metal has been ripped right out of it?! What a horrifyingly powerful weapon of Genocide's! Unfortunately for Liam, that horrifyingly powerful weapon atop the triangular body has stopped completely, and Orka coming back in wedges the spinner and with a burst of CO2 tosses him over! The crowd anticipates the possible self-right Genocide's blade begins to spin up...but then to their dismay it stops as the robot itself begins to spin around! Genocide's spinning blade is actually spinning the robot around...but it is hitting the arena floor! Not in a way that would right it, sadly, but it is digging into the arena floor! :angry: Holy 20 second fight, Batman! We seem to be having rather a lot of these brief encounters, lately! Orka heads towards the pit release button, Chris foreseeing the inevitable, while The Watcher comes over to have a look. And after his quick look, the verdict of the referee is, thus:

And there goes what looked like a really worthy competitor! And...WHAM!!! Asterix crashes into Maximum Genocide, goodness me! Sent flying into the wall! Orka RV sees it chance to end the misery quickly, and gets to the wall, and underneath Genocide! Before either of the house robots can react, Chris activates the flipper and Maximum Genocide is catapulted from the arena floor to the tracks!

Maximum Genocide proves to be no more effective than the bare minimum pesticide! :proud:

The axlebot didn't have any success last time around, but its updated version has an improved Hardox chassis and retains its nasty 24kg Hardox disc which gets to speed nearly instantly! Its exposed wheels have extra re-inforcement to make them less vulnerable of being removed, but at 22mph, it will be very uncontrollable, and it has a high ground clearance as well.
C&B1: (as Dante) Defeated by Tails in Round 1.
C&B2: Didn't compete.
C&B3: (as Dante) Despite its toughness, the 2nd seed Tempest Evil-est-oution completely ripped off its wheels early in the 1st round.
From Enschede, Holland...Liar 2!
Unchanged from last wars, an axlebot with a flipper that works both ways up and protected by rounded side Hardox armour, and with two thwacking spikes near the tip of the flipper! The wheels here are also tough like its opponent, but like Dantu as well, it has a huge 22mph speed and this will hurt it control-wise, and it also has exceedingly large ground clearance if you get around the wedge.
C&B1: Didn't compete.
C&B2: (as Liar) Nearly defeated The Disc 5, but the sluggishly-moving barbell bot moved an inverted Liar into a position it couldn't right itself from properly, and it went out in the Heat Final.
C&B3: [seeded 23rd] Was flipped out in near-record time by Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc, who then proceeded to rid the arena of the house robots.

In the arena for the house robots, we have Sir Killalot with a claw and lance, and the evil blinking eyes...and Growler! What a roar!

ACTIVATE!
Axlebot atrocity! :proud: The two two-wheelers fly out at each other and there's a major collision already! A few sparks later and the disc of Dantu is grinding the flipper of Liar 2 and puts some major scratches in it with that first major dent, but eventually it stops...and Liar gives it a huge toss! And that was near terminal, that was! Dantu comes back down with a rather horrible CRUNCH onto its side, and falls onto its wheels, but seemingly alright. A sturdy bot in and out, to be frank! Martijn isn't impressed, and Liar 2 comes back in for another flip! But Dantu proves the more manoeuvrable, and makes a quick turn aside, hitting one of the side spikes and popping Liar up into the air! Liar wheelies for a sec, then drives forward and the momentum causes it to flip itself onto its back! Despite this, it's pushing into Dantu's disc and stopped it before it could spin up properly, and is pushing it backwards! A quick adjustment however and Liar is only pushing Dantu in circles! However, Liar makes a quick spin around and smacks Dantu aside with one of the spikes! This stuns Dantu for a split second, giving Martijn a great chance, and Liar scoops it up with the wedge and sends Dantu to the atmosphere with a major toss! Good points for Team Varying Every Day, as Dantu gets a good view of the Battlegrounds before crashing down onto one of the arena spikes, but bouncing away before the spike can come up. Once this happens, Dantu scoots away quickly, with a pursuing Liar 2 in back, but Dantu suddenly makes a spin of its own and clips the wedge of Liar 2, popping it again and this time inverting him onto his back...but that doesn't do much good because Liar's the same either way up! That's okay, Dantu's disc is spinning up again! Liar moves in again, only for the tricky Team DoomForAll robot to meet it head-on!
CRASH!!
And that's a major hit right there! The disc practically digs into the wedge; neither are sent very far, but Dantu is bounced into the air a bit. Liar however has a rather large dent in the wedge now to mirror the one on the flipper! This doesn't deter the former 23rd seed, though, and it rushes forward to take advantage of Dantu's stalled disc, and getting under launches it into the air a 3rd time! Dantu isn't so lucky this time, as it lands into Sir Killalot's CPZ! And there's no escape once Sir Killalot has you in his evil clutches! Our knight of the realm grasps Dantu's frame with his signature jaws of life, or of death it seems to be, and parades around the 'Grounds with Alex Holt's creation for all to see! Alex cringes as Killalot heads over to the arena saws and the sparks fly as the saws raise from the floor and cut into Dantu as Sir Killalot lowers him onto them! BZZT! ...trouble is, the saws don't seem to be doing much cutting...I see sparks, yes, but I also see that absolutely minimal damage is being done to the framework of Dantu! Even Sir Killalot seems to be baffled by this development, and in his surprise he appears to release Dantu...no, he REALLY does! And Dantu's away! Having escaped the saws, though, Dantu only runs straight back onto the flipper of Liar 2! Liar however fires the flipper much too early and Dantu is merely overturned! Dantu spins around and chases down Liar 2 as it tries to lower its flipper! Due to its poor control Liar slams back-first into the wall and Dantu catches up rather swiftly! With a nasty ram with its disc, Dantu smacks into the wedge and pops it up, adding a carve to the many dents and scratches on both the wedge and flipper! Due to its drivetrain advantage, Liar slowly begins to push Dantu backwards, though, but Dantu backs off to spin up its disc, while Liar shoots by entirely! Dantu then takes advantage of this by heading straight towards one of the wheels! WHAP! ...sturdy indeed! Doesn't look like the wheel was damaged, but Liar is the one who is turned end over end this time, and this gives Dantu even more time to spin up its disc! As Liar finally has both wheels on the ground again, Dantu races forward! It's too late for Liar to escape the onslaught as Dantu smacks the same spike it did before, and there's a noticeable gash in it, though small, as Liar is again flipped! Liar does some serious scurrying away now to regroup, but Alex is determined not to give Martijn any breathing room and pursues quickly! Halfway across the arena Liar suddenly spins around and gets a wedgeful of disc!
CRASH!
Another dig into the wedge, and the hit sends Liar onto the arena saws behind! BZZT! No sparks this time but Liar is carried over them and deposited back in front of Dantu! Its disc still spinning, Dantu pounds on the same wheel he did before, and Liar bounces again, thankfully over top of the saws this before and comes to rest behind them! Martijn is thankful for the buffer, as Alex tries to get around them. Martijn carefully moves Liar around and smacks Dantu aside as he approaches, getting Dantu's side again and sliding under! Another gigantic flip, and Dantu crashes down heavily onto the arena floor! It bounces in front of Growler who nudges him a bit, and rests near another set of saws. My goodness, how much flipping can Dantu take? For that matter, how many more blows from its disc can Liar 2 take? We'll have to wait and see! Dantu turns to meet an incoming Liar and can't get away in time; its half-spun up disc barely scratches Liar, but in his haste Martijn flips early again and Dantu flies into the wall, bouncing off, and Liar drives straight into it! Dantu backs off, but he doesn't have the best control either and promptly gives himself a killsaw bath! Liar tries to re-orient in time, and just manages to do as he gets the wedge under a trying-to-retreat Dantu, and launches him again...before getting ground up by the saws himself! :proud: Dantu flies once more, wheel over end, end over wheel, and actually sends itself skidding as its disc hits ground a bit, but recovers and turns to face Liar 2, who's recovered from his own saw bath and is racing back in like a freight train! Dantu starts spinning and his wheel hits the side of one of Liar's side spikes, moving him off-course and giving Dantu another shot at his sides! Alex takes another piece o' that real estate and digs the disc directly into the side this time!
CRASH!!
Liar is sent soaring, though not nearly as high as Dantu was when tossed, and lands directly on his wheels. He gets away before Dantu can move in for more damage, however, and makes for another thwack! Alex sees it coming, though, and Dantu simply waits. Eventually, his failing tactics eating up time, Martijn breaks out of the thwack and Alex makes his move, striking the wedge as Liar aggressively barges in...now it's easier for Dantu to get a grip on the wedge, as the tips are all bent up! And not much of a grip, but another nice toss! Liar is put onto his back again, but drives back in and stops Dantu spinning his disc up and gives him a quick thwack, disorienting him and getting a quick flip in on him before fully getting another giant toss...OH MY! That was almost out of the arena! Dantu thankfully bounces off the railing, but ends up near Sir Killalot's CPZ again! Sir Killalot, despite his rather sluggish speed, is quick to act and clamps onto Dantu's framework before the DoomForAll creation can escape, and the house robot treats the audience to another sawing of Dantu! Liar meanwhile goes to open the pit, and slams into the button just as Sir Killalot gets bored with being unable to cut through Dantu, and decides to swing around! Within a few revolutions, Killalot opens the claw and Dantu bounces across the arena...straight onto the flipper of Liar! Another gigantic flip! Dantu crashes down in a frenzied blur, toppling and twisting and finally coming to rest, but not for long, as it dodges out of the way of another Liar charge! Its disc spinning up again, it makes a quick spin around and makes a shot at the sides of Liar, but only gets the tip of its side spike! Liar is jolted up a bit, but comes back down quickly and slides the flipper under...oh he goes for the arena wal - no! Dantu slides off on the way! Liar makes a turn to recollect Dantu on the wedge, and gives him a...relatively weak toss? The flipper on Liar 2 is weary, running out of power. perhaps? Dantu isn't getting off that easy, though, as Liar 2 shoves it across the arena and they enter Growler's CPZ! Growler happily moves forward and munches down...on both Dantu's protective Kevlar bar and the tip of Liar's wedge! Oh my, he's got both robots! Liar tries to fire the flipper, and that dislodges the relatively weak grip Growler had on them! Denied his fun, Growler rams Liar and Dantu backwards...and Liar tosses Dantu on top of him! :proud: Dantu falls off the rear of Growler and moves around to try and get another shot at Liar, but there's hardly any time left to do so...

Frantic, Liar moves away from Growler and tries to wedge Dantu again, but Dantu meets him with the disc and tosses him over again!

Liar makes a thwacking motion though, but Dantu backs off, wise to Liar's tactics this time.

Liar just bites the bullet now and drives straight into the disc of Dantu, and the flipper takes the big hit, now a tad bent!

ACTIVATE!
A riveting start we have, for T-Minus blazes across the arena and slams into the corkscrewy robot, and launches it sky-high with an amazing flip! Blizzard comes down hard, but proves that it's quite fine by roughly shoving T-Minus across the arena with its drills! T-Minus tries to escape the push, but the torque and traction of Alex Holt's barbaric creation is unparalleled, and soon T-Minus finds itself against the wall and in no position to flip Blizzard! Quickly, the bizarre drill weaponry of Blizzard coming into play! Thankfully, T-Minus' front armour easily withstands the assault and moments later the Inertia Labs machine is able to squeeze away and approach the side of Blizzard again! Blizzard tries to move away, but gets another hefty flip as it does so! Blizzard lands with its rear facing T-Minus, but as T-Minus rushes at it again with flipping determination ablaze, it strafes aside almost like nothing! Martijn wasn't expecting that and stops fully, but T-Minus is able to reorient itself as Blizzard gets the drills in again, and this time manages to angle itself in for another flip, tossing Blizzard end over end! All this action is driving them towards Sophitia's CPZ, and moments later the Greek Goddess (of War! :proud: ) manages to get some action at last as T-Minus heaves Blizzard across and on top of her. Sophitia gets a clean launch and T-Minus is flabbergasted as Blizzard absolutely sails straight over him and lands with a nasty crunch several feet behind! :proud: T-Minus whirls about in a metallic blur, but Blizzard must be made of sterner stuff than the bookies thought because the drills slam into T-Minus again and push it towards the giddy house robot! T-Minus manages to make a reverse turn out of it and Blizzard drives straight into Sophitia and her feared flipper! T-Minus approaches from the side and gets a toss in, just as Sophitia mistimes a flip and throws herself over! :proud: It seems the angled rear didn't exactly help matters! Regardless, T-Minus leaves her alone and pursues the retreating Blizzard, but the devilishly cunning screwbot strafes aside again, and bumps into the launchbot as he drives by! Side-by-side, T-Minus tries to turn and flip, but Blizzard also tries to turn and so we have both robots driving straight into the wall! But before he does, Alex halts Blizzard's progress and the far nippier T-Minus crashes its massive snout straight into it! Blizzard sees a golden opportunity and backs all the way across the arena...Martijn struggles to pull T-Minus off the wall and The Watcher, our friendly neighbourhood refbot, is looking a little concerned! Just as T-Minus activates the flipper in desperation, and throws itself onto its back, free, Blizzard bulldozes in and drives into the inverted front of the launchbot, slamming it hard into the wall in a rough display not unlike a cross-check in hockey! :proud: There's no way in hell that Martijn will try and self-right from that position though - the famed 540 self-right of T-Minus will see it jump the fence! But it cannot wiggle free from Blizzard's monstrous grip and has to settle for being drilled by the extreme traction action of the screws propelling the front prongs! Eventually The Watcher has his say, and Blizzard is shunted aside, its fun ruined, as T-Minus, with two holes in its front armour, speeds away!
Blizzard dodges around the refbot and keeps in close quarters, but not well enough! A quick spin from T-Minus has it at Blizzard's sides, and Alex tries to strafe sideways away, T-Minus keeps at the side and eventually drives it into Shunt's CPZ and flips it! Shunt receives the full 68kg of the screwbot into his scoop and slams the axe down! Unfortunately the axe blow glances off, but held down it manages to hold Blizzard in there. Shunt turns around and pins Blizzard into the CPZ, and retracting the axe manages to dint Blizzard's middle body several times with that diamond-edged axe! Eventually there's a small hole put into that section, but as Shunt releases him at last, there's little evidence that the damage is anything but superficial! T-Minus, however, intends to make the pain prolonged, and getting in another toss slams Blizzard into the wall nearby! As they approach a nearby Disc of Death, Blizzard suddenly gains the upper hand, finding the side of T-Minus and pinning it! T-Minus wiggles and fires the flipper, but can't free itself, and Blizzard slowly but surely makes the most of this moment by riding the wall and getting T-Minus into that dreaded hazard...of Death!
CRASH!!!
And oh yes, T-Minus is high enough to be hit by that! Sent a'twirling, T-Minus is shot across the arena like a pinball, coming to rest near the floor flipper, with a nasty, nasty gash in the top corner! Martijn tries to reign T-Minus' driving back to full strength, but 'full strength' doesn't seem like an option anymore because the Inertia Labs machine is quite slow now! Unable to withstand a sudden Blizzard ram, it is pushed back towards the arena spikes, and T-Minus tries to get off of it but is poked anyway and sent...flying, actually! The pointy piston explodes terminally, propelling T-Minus off the floor and about a few feet into the air! :proud: It lands right side up, thankfully, but its drivetrain problems are still clear to the audience! And they are much clearer to the two drivers, and Alex takes full advantage by roughly shunting T-Minus backwards and into Sophitia's CPZ again...and the Grecian responds by giving T-Minus a taste of its own medicine, rocketing the launchbot across the arena to land near the pit! Blizzard senses that the end is nigh, and goes to open the pit, but T-Minus is reluctant to meet a dark and gloomy end and drives away from the pit...unfortunately, his mobility is hindered enough so that he doesn't even get 2 feet away before Blizzard spears the pit release button and nearly drags it from the wall! :proud: As Martijn frantically tries to get T-Minus working at capacity again, Blizzard crashes in and sends it straight back into Sophie's CPZ! This time Sophitia gets T-Minus fully onto the wedge and tosses it...at near terminal velocity! T-Minus 1 second and counting...? BAM! The second it takes for T-Minus to land from its utmost height is like Marti's heart dropping as it lands onto its back and bounces, again near the pit! There's no surviving the inevitable, and a well-fought fight finally ends in victory in Blizzard as it makes one last drawn-out push towards the big hole and T-Minus at long last tumbles in!

Getting around that disc is the key to victory it seems, for Christopher Mason and Team Dinowarrior, but as he tries to make that happen, Dantu's turning circle and swift speed denies him an early shot at this! And you shouldn't have let the disc get up to speed, Mr. Mason! Dantu charges in, cutting off a turn from the Mason machine...but Orka goes straight by, Dantu missing by an inch! Orka wheels around, but his 6 wheel drive is hindering the turning a bit, and Dantu spins about...but he too has a problem as he turns quite sharply, going too far! So what happens is that the two robots end up facing each other...after 3 seconds have gone by! Tricky to control, eh? ;) Knowing nothing else for it, Orka simply has to charge head-on...that's just fine for Alex, for Dantu speeds towards him as well and we have our first big collision of the fight!
CRASH!!!
But due to the massive size of Orka RV, the hit merely pushes him back a few feet! It has however given Dantu a wide berth to spin his disc back up again, but Orka drives in quickly, the slightly scratched flipper sliding under Dantu and tossing it over! There'll be no flipping action from you, my disc-ed friend! :proud: For now, that is. Let's see if Dantu can get right-side-up again later! Alex drives Dantu away, trying to spin the disc up to a dangerous speed again, but Orka is too quick and catches him from the rear, rear-ending the axlebot and forcing Dantu's half-spun disc into the arena floor, bouncing Dantu up wholly onto the wedge and stopping the disc entirely! Brimming with confidence, Chris drives towards Renegade's CPZ and dumps Dantu into the waiting house robot's claws! Immediately, the claws tighten and Dantu faces the exact same predicament as in last fight! Not only that, but now Renegade's axe comes down and batters the chassis! The shape of the axe is perfect for dinting that thick Hardox and there is a noticeable chop in one of the bars as Renegade finally releases Dantu from its grasp, but Orka is right there to collect Dantu and throw it right back on top of Renegade! Momentarily surprised, the axe fires on Renegade and...poink! It nudges the base of Dantu, nothing more...who simply drives off the back! But Orka is right there AGAIN! A shove later and Dantu finds itself right back in peril as the Renegade's claws close and the axe comes back down! Orka just waits nearby as Dantu sustains another great chop in one of the supports in the framework! It grows deeper and deeper and Dantu is finally...sent back onto Orka's wedge! How very systematic! And a great toss later and Dantu is flung far into the CPZ! Behind Renegade, even! Orka realizes its mistake and moves to one side of the edge of the CPZ, but as Renegade turns around, Dantu shoots out from the other side, and is away! Alex is not happy about having been a house robot chew toy for over a minute, and is determined to get back into the fight! Dantu races about to the middle of the arena, and as Orka chases it down, it makes a sudden deke to the side and plants the vertical disc firmly in the titanium side of Orka RV!
CRASH!!!
Orka tumbles onto its back, sustaining nasty scratches and tears in that side, and the time it takes to self-right is all Dantu needs to rev its vertical flywheel, disc, etc., up to full speed! But Alex underestimates just how fast Orka RV can drive and as it closes in, Orka moves off, and a quick manoeuvre sees Orka back in control with another nice toss, this time into the arena saws, which (BZZZT!) separate the two even more! Orka flies around the saws but its control is a bit shoddy, and though Dantu's isn't exactly the greatest either, it has now has a full shot at Orka's previously damaged side panel! This time Orka's speed isn't enough to match Dantu's as Dantu plunges into that side!
CRASH!!!
And due to Dantu being flipped, the disc practically gouges into the side, tearing a huge crevasse in that titanium side, akin to damage Hypno-Disc gave Wheely Big Cheese! :proud: But this of course allows Orka to arc around, gather Dantu onto its wedge, and with another gigantic flip tosses Dantu across the arena, and into the wall! But it doesn't stop there! Thanks to Orka's impressive speed, it catches up to Dantu as he lands, and another lift sees Dantu off to the tracks! The camera tracks, that is! :proud:

Perhaps Dantu shouldn't keep its devilish presence where it oughtn't to! :proud:

GeFiveOrce...what a mouthful! And what a flipperful if you get stuck on that wide wedge, for you'll get sent flying ala Axe Awe vs. Wheely Big Cheese! :proud: Hardox body and titanium wheel guards help keep away nasty spinners from the internals and it has decent 16mph speed, but may prove a bit uncontrollable. It has average pushing power, too.

Also known as Nidhogg Cubed, NxNxN, etc...an absolutely wondrous machine with hydrostatic drive which is apparently 'head and shoulders' above most other vapourbots in terms of torque and control, and it can roll over if flipped. Weapons consist of lifting forks and a powerful hydraulic crushing arm. Very good armour too...except for the base panel, only 5mm aluminium alloy...

ACTIVATE!
This is the fight we came to see, I think! And the drivers are proving it, with Ge5orce immediately zooming out to greet the nordic beast that is Nidhogg! A last second swerve to the side...fails! And Ge5orce rides one of the wheel housings up the wedge only! Nidhogg cannot get a good grip there and has to turn around in order to get a better purchase, but as he does so Ge5orce is away! Andy turns his machine around, targets the sides, and tries to repeat the same tactic! Joey is wiser this time and immediately turns Nidhogg around to greet the charge, but Andy has tricks of his own! He dekes the turn, then swerves off to the other side, catching a surprised Joey off-guard, and getting the flipper under sends Nidhogg over! Nidhogg rolls...back towards Ge5orce, who promptly launches it again! Nidhogg flies across the arena and lands near the floor flipper, but that will not activate until one of the robots has been immobilized...among other things. :proud: Nidhogg is back onto its wheels and deftly evades another fly-in by the 4th seed, but tries to take advantage of its control by sweeping aside and grasping the side of Ge5orce! Before Andy can get away, the lifting forks activate and the crushing arm comes down! Andy guns it in reverse though, and by the time Ge5orce's wheels are off the ground, Nidhogg only has Ge5orce by the tip of the flipper! Unfortunately the pit isn't open and, having Ge5orce caught so weakly, Joey decides to try and further the clamping action! The forks lower and the crushing arm goes down as well, but at that moment Ge5orce activates the flipper and...while ineffective being clamped, the space between forks and arm is enough for Ge5orce to shake himself loose and get away! Furious, Joey has Nidhogg pursue the 4th seed, the weapons resetting to their original positions, and Nidhogg is nearly reaching its top speed of 30mph! Ge5orce stops suddenly and moves backwards in an arc...or tries to, but Nidhogg crashes into the back of it - oho! And Ge5orce had enough to slide off to the side! And now...FLIP! Nidhogg is sent into a 360! Ge5orce resumes his control of the match as Nidhogg is caught again and tipped onto its crushing arm! It rolls over but a quick wedging from Ge5orce sees it going to the arena wall and tosses it...AND NIDHOGG CATCHES THE ARENA RAILING!!! Look at this! The crushing arm of Nidhogg has completely caught the railing of the arena and stopped it from completely going out, but...it's hanging directly on the railing, clamping for dear life as Joey frantically thinks of something to get Nidhogg out of danger...but with Ge5orce in the arena, there's always danger! Andy assumes the position, and Ge5orce pops Nidhogg's crushing arm with the flipper, but Joey made his robot's weapon well, for that's not going to release any time soon! And a second, and rather mistimed, flip has Ge5orce tossing himself over too! :proud: That doesn't really bother Andy much because Ge5orce works both ways up, drive and weapon wise, but what to do about Nidhogg, I wonder? Obviously we need someone to sort this out...and what better robot to do that than The Watcher? :proud: Ge5orce respectfully backs off as the refbot pokes its lifting arm over the wall, being high enough to do that, and manages to get Nidhogg's main body off the top of the wall and into the arena...and Nidhogg lets go! Saved by the referee! The dragon rolls back over onto its wheels, and we have a match again!
Joey wastes no more time, and Nidhogg goes after Ge5orce in a fury not unlike the fury of its namesake! :proud: Ge5orce spins around and backs sideways over the wedge again, but this time Joey gets Nidhogg around in time, and it breaches Ge5orce's flipper! Nidhogg uses all its speed to make sure Ge5orce doesn't get away and raises the lifting forks...but Ge5orce DOES get away! It fell off the spikes just in time and Nidhogg nearly hit the wall, but it turns to get back in Ge5orce's face...err, flipper! :proud: Andy heads back across the arena instead with an angrily pursuing Nidhogg, but a quick turn has Ge5orce again at Nidhogg's side, and all the control and traction in the world won't help if you're airborne, Mr. McConnell! :proud: FLIP! Nidogg goes sailing, but how much CO2 is left in Ge5orce's flipper? Nidhogg hits the wall, but gets away and this time Ge5orce actually hits the wall! Nidhogg quickly turns to take advantage but Ge5orce is already backing away and heading towards the middle of the arena! An agitated Nidhogg hounds it around the arena, and finally catches up! Ge5orce turns around, but far too late and Nidhogg catches the wheel guard! Quickly Joey lifts the forks up under the guard and lowers the crushing arm and the tip of the arm snakes in the space between the tire and guard! Before Joey can do much else, though, Ge5orce fires the flipper again and WHOA! Oh dear! Since Ge5orce is currently inverted, the flipper hit the ground and tossed both robots over! Now Nidhogg has the rollcage-style srimech, but how well will it work when he's latched on to another robot? Not very well, I'm afraid, and Nidhogg now has to release Ge5orce...who's right-side-up, now, by the way! As soon as he does this, Ge5orce is away, but Nidhogg starts to roll back onto his wheels! As he does so, the 4th seed wheels about, a bit shakily as there is definitely some damage done to the tire, and snakes the flipper under the falling side of Nidhogg! Nidhogg starts to drive away...until Ge5orce throws him towards the arena wall! Nidhogg hits the wall upended, and rolls into it, trapped! But there are some problems with Ge5orce's movement! Has the tire been punctured any? We don't know, but Ge5orce IS slowly getting nearer! Nidhogg's crushing arm is already helping it roll off the wall...and onto the flipper of Ge5orce! Quickly the wedge panel flicks upwards...and the crushing arm doesn't save it this time! The recent Hall of Famer is thrust over the arena wall and meets a shocking end on the camera tracks! Ge5orce fires its flipper in weary delight, having successfully defended its 4th seeding!

From Cardiff in Wales...LockJaw v3!
An axlebot with three vertical clamping jaws, two on the sides, and the middle one hidden in the main front plow, very powerful force. The wheels are protectoed by triangular Hardox guards, and it's quite manoeuvrable, but it may be a tad controllable, and it hasn't the best drivetrain...or much armour.

From Onehouse in Suffolk...Mega Masher 2!
Triangular wedge shape with a rear cutting disc spinning at 2000rpm and capable of some nasty scarring. Hardox armouring, 6 wheel drive, on top of being impossible to strand on its side thanks to angling, make it rather difficult to beat, but the power for the drive isn't as good.
C&B1: Lifted over the fence by Storm II in Round 1.
C&B2: Didn't compete.
C&B3: Totally demolished by The Windmill in Round 1, and pitted rather piteously by the house robots.

After last heat's devastating defeat against Chris Mason, Liam is hungry for revenge, and LockJaw opens its side jaws wide to signify just how hungry! :proud: Mega Masher leads with the disc, but LockJaw swerves to avoid it. Mega Masher cannot turn in time to avoid LockJaw from getting at the side, and the axlebot slides under! Mega Masher tries to turn and hit LockJaw with the disc, but the side jaws are already pressing down and into the wedge...or, one of them is! LockJaw is at the side, preventing Mega Masher from attacking or defending...but he seemingly cannot clamp properly...down comes the middle jaw...and it slides down the wedge like the other jaw! Oh dear, quite a conundrum! This of course finally allows Mega Masher to get away, and give LockJaw a healthy wallop with the vertical flywheel!
CRASH!
Which doesn't exactly do much, considering it merely popped LockJaw up and hardly scratched the Hardox wheel guard! LockJaw blazes back in, in wrath, and actually goes after the rear of Mega Masher...but Mega Mashern spins about and uses the wedge to spin his disc back up safely! That's fine...for Liam! The jaws slide under the wedge and start to clamp down, and Chris realizes his horrible mistake! Hurriedly he tries to turn Mega Masher aside, but the jaws already have a firm grip on the wedge and now the middle jaws comes down...what a grip! With victory literally in his grasp, Liam moves LockJaw over to the pit release button...and smacks Mega Masher into it, the disc slicing straight through the release button! :proud: Contrary to the belief of the audience, this allows LockJaw to further grip onto the wedge, and now having a cinch on the match, LockJaw manoeuvres towards the pit, and all Chris can do is watch as Mega Masher exits the tournament in the first round yet again, deposited in the deep black hole! Liam pumps his fist in the air, having acquired his vengeance for Maximum Genocide's defeat!

Mega Masher will mash no more, as the Mason machine might well undergo a 3rd recipe! :proud:

The two flippers head straight for each other, either one eager to see who is lower! And you know what? Neither do! CLANG! The flippers hit each other and cancel out! For a second, it seems that neither competitor can gain ANY advantage what-so-ever...than the 60v ETEKs in Omega-Rex start to really get into action and Ziggy is pushed all the way across the arena! Samuel thinks better of this and moves Ziggy back in an arc, but Liam was expecting such a thing and Omega-Rex keeps on the attack, getting to Ziggy's side and tossing it across the arena! Ziggy almost goes out but hits the wall and lands right-side-up over the arena spike...and is popped! :proud: It gets away before Omega-Rex can capitalize, and readjusts itself. Omega-Rex just barges in and again neither can get under the either! Ziggy is pushed back again but this time is unable to move back in time and is shoved into the arena wall! This bodes ill for Team Ziggy, for Omega-Rex now has some measure of leverage and sneaks a part of the flipper under Ziggy's own. Realizing this, Liam fires the flipper and Ziggy is popped into the air! It comes back down...onto the upraised flipping arm! Which lowers, and then, in a quick motion, throws Ziggy straight over the fence and out of competition!

Hmm, this one will be tricky, so I'll have to be patient and wait for the right moments to flip it. Hopefully it won't be able to cause me too much (if any) damage though. Lure it near the walls, get under whatever I can, and just launch it (preferably OOTA).

The match starts with Ge5orce heading away from LockJaw...and driving near one of the arena walls! LockJaw just pursues him with all its 2 wheeled might...and Ge5orce turns all ITS 2 wheeled might! :proud: Both clearances clash...and LockJaw wins out! But before he can clamp down, the flipper of Ge5orce fires and knocks LockJaw away a bit! Shuddering as the shock of Ge5orce doing that is, the angering part is the 4th seed managing to slip away! LockJaw gets its bearings back and blazes after Ge5orce, but the sudden pirouette of Ge5orce sees its front end hit LockJaw's...and this time Ge5orce wins out! LockJaw is wide...but that means one wheel pod is hanging over the side of the wedge! LockJaw can't exactly go places with one wheel, and there is a trip to the wall by Ge5orce! A toss later, and LockJaw...finds itself ON the railing! Oh dear, de-ja-vu, anyone? Andy is absolutely stunned that this has happened AGAIN, as LockJaw has itself situated on the arena railing, one wheel pod over the arena, the other over the camera tracks...and it's wobbling...! And it's teetering...! And it's...subjected to a flick of the flipper by Ge5orce! And obviously that's it, as LockJaw tips, tops, and topples out of the arena! Score another OOTA for the 4th seed...but it feels its work hasn't been duly achieved and takes a trip to Rorschach's CPZ! It easily slides under the scoops and flicks the huge house robot onto its back, from which it cannot self-right at all! Cassius Chrome barges in, bur not before Ge5orce turns its wide snout towards him next, and Cassius Chrome rides straight up the wedge! Cassius Chrome is popped, but before it can be wholly overturned, The Watcher crashes the party and gets behind Cassius Chrome! It pushes back...but Ge5orce moves back a bit and THEN flips...and the 200kg of NON-Robot-Wars-Series-2-Finalist-Cassius tips onto The Watcher, upended! Ge5orce darts away before the ref can figure out what the bloody hell to do, and slides under the ref too, tossing him over!

Kody, whilst I haven't been here in a while, I have been reading eagerly up in this tourney, mainly 2 see my progress, which is a bit lame but nevertheless, this has been a wicked tourney, well done 4 it.
I predict a shock exit of Achilles at the beater of Dervish, and then Apocalypse II to win the second match, then the heat :proud: For series victory, I believe that GeForce stands the best chance atm, but I eagerly await the next matches.

Well I had to come back some time :)
Btw, I know it's been ages but is there anyway you could hunt down the stats for my old team like Inferno, Worck-er and others, it's just I'm planning improvements and the like to them but need the stats as a template and such.
And don't worry, I'm sure the fights ur working on will rock!! :)
