Re: The Crash & Burn Mini-Tournament of Death 4
Well if that fight has taught me one thing, it's that Harraz isn't REALLY well designed for melees/flippers, but can sort of hold it's own albeit not too well. Next battle will therfore be a fun one :lame: Great battles by the way Kody, looking forward to the next round quiet a bit.
Mobile Failure 2.5 vs. Empty Inside
This is an interesting fight. To have been honest, Mobile Failure is the machine I would've prefered to fight, but you can what you get :proud:
In my opinion, Empty Inside does stand a pretty good chance of getting underneath the sides/rear of MF, and if it does, I see an upset here. If not...well I predict Lian's machine to get it's head smashed in.
Wedga Eenea vs. Harraz
As you are possibly aware :lame: that ight demonstrated that my lifter isn't able to effectively handle high-powered flippers with the most effecient of ease. However, now we're fighting one on one, I think I stand a bit more chance.
One thing that's gone in my favour is both the pure traction/power Harraz can utilize makes it essentially like the vapourbot form of Tornado - although with the speed of Storm 2, kinda like a Hurricane :lame: - so I think I stand quite a decent chance of shoving Wedga around easily.
Whilst he is 4mph slower and therefore may have better control, I can still get to his sides, which is where I can use one thing that gives me an advantage: the shape of Wedga is actually quite boxy, talking about the base area around the bottom. I got hold of the slanted Iron Awe fairly easily so I should be fine getting a hold of him, especially with a flat front I can keep him in-front of me and shove him about.
I won't open the pit until the last minute of the bout; I don't want to give Wedga too many ways of disposing me :talker: plus I'll need to get in damage points by house robot shunting, as this another advantage I have :proud: Wedga can only do powerful, launching attacks while I can be controlled in my overturning. When shoving him into the hazards - disc of DEATH, house robots etc - overturn him so they can attack his baseplate to cause catastrophic damage, and hopefully allow me to win :proud:
All that lengthy discussion over tactics summed up  House robot shoving loving, don't open the pit till last minute as a last resort, and avoid Wedga getting under me at the edge of the ring...or at all :lame:
Good luck Andy, and go Kody for writing so awesomely :proud:
Re: The Crash & Burn Mini-Tournament of Death 4
Would being the vapourbot Tornado with the speed of Storm 2 and a lifter not make you, erm, the vapourbot Storm 2?
Re: The Crash & Burn Mini-Tournament of Death 4
*takes a second to think of an answer*...dammit :proud:
Well in that case it's like Storm 2, but with Tornado's wheels/level of traction and shape, plus a bit more power. As I said, kinda like a Hurricane - a mix between a Storm and a Tornado - which would've made quite an epic name come to think of it lol :proud:

It seems both robots are after the other's blood, for they scream straight at each other, but it's Empty Inside who gets under; Mobile Failure has no chance to axe its opponent before a burst of CO2 from the flipper sends it over! Empty Inside drives towards its opponent as she self-rights, and though late to get under before Mobile Failure is back on its wheels, still manages to get under the Canadian axebot's front hinged wedge, and pushes forward. However Mobile Failure shows its ability to put its power down to the ground and accelerates off of the flipper. Tracy is at a bit of a disadvantage here because of Lian's manoeuvrability, and it's really showing in close-quarters because Mobile Failure cannot turn and get away in time, and is flipped over again! It's a worrisome day for Team Alt, but Lian is quite happy and, intercepting the Failure before it can self-right, drives Mobile Failure off towards King Leer's CPZ, where the big guy greets Mobile Failure with a hail of blows from the crescents. The polycarb isn't doing so well...hold on! It's been dented around a wheel, which is definitely not spinning now like the others! The repeated blows stack up, is the axebot living up to its name? Aware of the time limit, King Leer backs off, and Empty Inside...flips it straight back into King Leer, where Mobile Failure is caught on the front of the wedge. More blows happen, and Empty Inside goes to open the pit. King Leer's current blows, as menacing as they may seem, aren't doing too much to the titanium/vanadium, no sirree, but the bottom panel damage has been done! Leer shunts Failure away and waits for it to move...and Mobile Failure is away, but now on an angle, so the wheel is still jammed! Lian now drives back in, and looks to get around Mobile Failure this time. The damage Tracy's bot sustained recently makes this far easier and the Achilles clone manages to get to the side, under the skirt, and tosses Mobile Failure onto its back again, but Tracy still has the fighting spirit as the axe rights it immediately! It can't seem to get away from the Bloodmage robot though and sustains another flip from the corner! This time Tracy can't self-right quick enough and is wedged by Empty Inside, who drives straight towards the pit! Despite the attempts to drive off and the constant flailing of the axe, a comeback is deemed impossible as Empty Inside pits Mobile Failure and...throws itself in too! :proud:
CEASE!
A rather lop-sided affair, as Mobile Failure 2.5 never really got mobile and ended up failing in the pit!
Empty Inside advances to the Annihilator Final!

ACTIVATE!
A cagey start from Harraz, as it turns on the spot on the ACTIVATE call, and moves around. Wedga has flown out of its own spot in a hurry, and seemingly wants this over with now! Harraz turns accordingly, and what happens is the quirky bots are nose to nose, literally! Winning the pushing match however is Harraz, and none too cagey is the shove into the arena wall that allows Harraz under the flipper of Wedga! Hurriedly the lifter thrusts up and topples Wedga against the arena wall, but to Paul's chagrin, the flipper flicks Wedga off the wall and off the back of Harraz! But it's Paul who's still in command as he backs into Wedga's own rear, and the skirt gets under Wedga. With another extended running start Harraz reverses all the way across the arena and slams Wedga against the wall opposite! Wedga rides the momentum off the wall and lands off to the side, but is still perched slightly on the side skirt of Harraz. Paul turns accordingly, but this makes Wedga fall off the skirt. However, Harraz is still in time to get under Wedga again before the Team ??? robot can manoeuvre away, and this time manages to get Wedga into an empty CPZ. Smelling blood, Mr. Psycho and Sir Killalot slowly exit their own CPZs as Harraz lifts Wedga up onto his side against the corner, and tries to pin him. Noticing the approaching Sir Killalot, Harraz turns aside, but is too slow as he is shoved against the pinned Wedga by Sir Killalot, now pinned himself, and Mr. Psycho's right outside the CPZ! As Harraz tries to squeeze away, the claw of our Knight of the realm grasps the side skirt and crunches into it, lifting Harraz up into the air! Wedga fires its flipper against the wall, but only succeeds in forcing himself into the corner! As the flipper lowers, Wedga falls onto his back against the wall...another flip is rendered moot as he just falls backwards again...but this may be one of the few times a competitor is lucky to be in a CPZ; Mr. Psycho's claw comes down and picks Wedga off the ground! That would have been a ghastly fail for Andy, had the house robot left him there! What is now happening, however, is a house robot display, a display of power, that is! And Psycho and Killalot are feeling particularly dominant! Killalot hauls Harraz over to the arena saws...and though there is lack of any lasting harm, the blinding sparks surely delight the audience! :proud: Wedga meanwhile is being given a taste of the flame pit...that won't do too much, hopefully, but because the robot is so compact, components might get hotter quicker! Several seconds of house robot fun encompass the two helpless competitors...then Mr. Psycho's claw raises, up...up...up...and opens, sending Wedga plummeting to the ground onto its flipper! It's not that great of a fall, but Mr. Psycho turns a bit and brings the hammer down before Wedga can try and right itself, landing a solid blow on the underside! But the monocoque holds up fairly well, and the resulting toss over from Wedga, righting it, clearly displays a lack of weakness! Concurrently, Sir Killalot has viewed 15 seconds worth of the bright white fragments of light, and now spins about with the claw raised, whirling Harraz around before letting go and sending the Team Insanity robot sprawling across the floor where the arena spike pops Harraz, but doesn't quite manage to turn it over! Paul guides his robot off the hazard, as Wedga seeks the middle of the arena.
The makings of a real battle are forming again as the house robots return to their CPZs, content, and the plucky competitors are sizing each other up as before! Paul decides to return to his previous tactics and moves away from Wedga, who just races straight at him...have we gone approximately a minute and a half back in time, folks? It's like the start of the match all over again! :proud: Only this time, the outcome is far different and Wedga successfully sneaks past the lifter and underneath Harraz! Panicking, Paul tries to back off...not a chance! An absolutely massive toss results from Andy pressing the flipper button, and amid a cloud of CO2 Harraz lands a perfect 540, on his back! None too pleased about this, Paul tries to self-right on the spot, but here comes Wedga! None too soon does the lifter raise Harraz off the ground, though, as Wedga barges in a fraction of a second too late and the charges merely shoves Harraz aside, sending Wedga off-course! Wedga twirls, but Harraz manages to self-right successfully! Not as successful however is the attempt to escape, as Wedga crashes into the side of Harraz as it tries to get away, and the skirt is penetrated! Rather than an immediate assault, Wedga takes Harraz to the wall...oh how dreadful! The toss was almost exactly terminal, and Harraz crashes directly down onto the upraised flipper of Wedga, forcibly closing it! Wedga flips him again, but the same result occurs...with an altered end as Harraz slides off the back! On his wheels now, Harraz spins about quicker and gets the lifter under Wedga before Andy can do anything about it, and turns Wedga over! Wedga immediately self-rights, but only onto the lifter to be tipped over again! With his rear to the wall again and nowhere near a CPZ, Wedga is in dire straits! Another flick pushes him further into the wall...and bounces onto his arse, then onto the flipper! There's some space to self-right now, but Harraz is already there and shoves Wedga back into the wall...but Wedga fires the flipper just as Harraz comes into contact with him! ...oh dear!!! That was horrible!!! Wedga Ennea has effectively thrown itself out of the arena!!! It appears both drivers are confused to the result...Andy shakes his head after a while and accepts it, but Paul is in hysterics! :proud: Harraz moves on!
CEASE!
High to the nines went Wedga Ennea, but the landing was a -3! :proud:

Andy's in Barcelona, but I would rather not fight him so I'll see if I can go with a team up here. :) Generally, go for the usual EoR II tactics - spin up, avoid weapons, kill Liar 2 and Blast in that order.
It's not pretty, but it works XD best of luck everyone!

Melee 1
Exertion II vs. Liar 2 vs. Blast vs. Eye of Ran II
From Shrewsbury in Shropshire...Exertion !!
(created by Andrew Jackson)
Very compact design with 1cm thick Ti/V armour, a front lifting wedge and rear ramming spikes, he's a tough nut to crack, and possibly too thin to even be stacked on his side. Despite this, he's got no real damaging weaponry.
From Enschede in the Netherlands...Liar 2!
(created by Martijn Benschop)
A 2WD wedge with a nearly full-body flipper and thwacking spikes situated on either side of the flipper. Constructed from Hardox (as are the wheels), but as above, won't do much real damage, and control could be an issue.
From Orpington in Kent...Blast!
(created by Paul Cuomo)
A boxy robot with angled sides and rear (inverse), and a full-pressure flipper at 750psi, able to toss quite much into the air and self-right with that flipper. Armoured well, but it's not the best pusher.
From Pontefract...Eye of Ran II!
(created by Joey McConnell)
Presenting a T-shaped competitor with a 30kg undercutting blade at the front of the robot (the wider end) about 5mm off the ground. The main polycarb is protected at the top and rear by Hardox, and it's mildly nippy, but it won't turn as fast as other 2WD bots with that large weapon spinning.

ACTIVATE!
It begins with Blast immediately making a gang-way for Liar 2, and Eye of Ran II following with its blade spinning up quickly! However, Exertion II intercepts seemingly ALL competitors, getting straight under Liar 2 and shoving him into Blast diagonally, thereupon getting under Blast as well and shoving him into Eye of Ran! The skirt takes a fully-spun-up hit and is slightly crumpled, but that won't be bothering Paul too much. Liar 2, now behind Exertion, now gets under Exertion and lets fly with a massive flip, sending Exertion...goodness me, about 10 feet into the air! With a clatter Exertion comes crashing down onto one of the arena spikes, which pops him up and flips him again! As Andy struggles to find which way up he is, Liar tackles Blast this time, but fails to get underneath the undamaged skirt. Blast, however, turns and gets underneath Liar, and with the scoop angled such, Paul finds that he is in greater control than he thought; Liar is overturned simply by the angle of the scoop and the speed of the push, as well as having the front spikes of Liar hitting the ground! And this happens repeatedly, without Blast having to use his flipper once! As such, Blast manages to get Liar over to Cassius Chrome's CPZ, and throw him into the house robot! Cassius Chrome isn't too thrilled about having 100kg of Hardox wedge jostled into him, and repels Liar with the punching fists, obviously not too much damage, but Blast moves aside to make way for the incoming Eye of Ran II, who'd been following! Cassius Chrome moves away, but before Martijn can follow suit, Joey steers his robot blade-first into one of the wheels! 6mm of Hardox, however, is definitely enough to withstand that and Liar is sent flying away with no apparent injury! Sensing a slowed down opponent, Exertion flies straight in and wedges Eye of Ran on an angle, right between the front and sides, and shoves him across the arena! Unfortunately Andy is unable to fully get Eye of Ran onto its back with the lifter, as its range signifies, but is content with throwing Eye of Ran into the arena wall at high speed, who bounces away to side! Realizing his team-up plans are not quite working out and that his attacker is too close to get away from, Eye of Ran spins up its blade and approaches Exertion, who simply rams straight towards him! Joey tries to deke him out and try hitting the side, but Andy keeps Exertion's front straight against the direction of EoR's blade, and there is a colossal CRASH!!! Blade meets wedge and Eye of Ran is popped into the air, but Exertion stays where he is, mainly due to his lifting wedge's ridiculously low angle! The 5mm Hardox on it appears little more than scratched, and the team from Shropshire are grinning now, as Exertion gets under the T-shaped bot and throw it into the wall again! Joey isn't enjoying this one bit...
Meanwhile, Liar and Blast have been squaring off and it's really gone in the favour of Blast, as Liar keeps failing to get the flipper under Blast, while Blast keeps getting under the spikes and is throwing Liar all over the place! After a particularly nasty slam against one of the Discs of Death, which slightly dents the rear of Liar 2, Blast powers Liar across the arena yet again! This time though the cards don't read in his favour, as Liar flips itself away and Blast powers by, vulnerable! Liar manages to sneak the flipper under Blast's turning scoop for the first time this match, gets further under, and lets fly with a massive flip, propelling Blast far through the air and landing upside-down after bouncing end on end across the arena, almost like a Slinky! :proud: Blast however self-rights quickly with a CO2 snort, and goodness me the self-right was magnificent as well, a true 540 degree over-overturn, quite the overturn overture! :proud: Paul's complacance is short-lived, however, because Liar is on his case again. Blast moves forward at him again, but Liar moves about and slams one of the spikes into the side of Blast's scoop, thwackbot-style as ever. Blast is thrown aside and this lets Liar come in again, but before he can do so, Exertion makes an appearance by shoving Eye of Ran straight into him! Saved by the distraction, Blast turns again and gets under one of Liar's thwacking spikes, and powers under the Dutch flipper, and activates his own flipper on his opponent...goodness me, what height! The stats must have lied, for Liar flew quite higher than 5 feet! A maddened Exertion isn't letting anybody go, though, as he now shoves under Blast, under one of the skirts, and lifts him over with another great SMASH into the arena wall! Eye of Ran, finally free of the bricky lifter, spins his blade up and heads for Liar 2 as per his plan. Martijn however isn't concerned about Joey and is looking for some sweet revenge against Paul, as Blast self-rights stylishly again. Exertion penetrates the damaged skirt and starts to lift Blast over again, presenting Liar with the perfect opportunity! Quickly Martijn heads over, but Joey is quite close and Eye of Ran intercepts Liar with a gargantuan CRASH against the previously hit wheel! Liar gets pounded against the wall and Eye of Ran turns about to protect his blade,...well Martijn isn't going to let THAT go! Liar rams straight into Eye of Ran, the hit wheel still fine, and sneaks the flipper in. Joey pushes forward to try and ward away the flipper, but Liar spins the other way and thwacks the side of Eye of Ran...and is in for a shock as the thwack has penetrated the polycarb! It's not too deep, but the spike is slightly embedded in the side armour of Eye of Ran, and that's absolutely no good for Joey! Liar now begins to drag Eye of Ran backwards, as further away Blast has been flipped over and against the wall side-on. Exertion now tries to lift him OOTA, but the flipper saves Blast once again as it rights the Team Insanity robot at the side of Exertion, but with the rear pointed at Exertion!
Paul is quick to get away, though, and seeing his preferred opponents stuck together flies straight after them, but somewhat cautiously as Eye of Ran's undercutting blade is definitely going at maximum velocity...Joey tries to turn and hit Blast, and Martijn seeing this turns his machine accordingly...this dislodges the two instantly and sends Eye of Ran directly into the incoming scoop of Blast...CRASH!!! What an absolutely massive display as sparks fly, and both Eye of Ran and Blast fly across the arena in opposite directions! Exertion is quick on the uptake and goes after Blast, getting straight under the damaged skirt and quickly lifting the flipper onto its back yet again! Liar is after Eye of Ran obviously, and Joey turns the machine around to thwart this. Martijn goes for another thwack, but Joey drives off before the thwack connects, and now the blade is at full speed again! In comes Liar though to stall it, and tries another thwack. Joey turns, but the thwack rides up the rear wedge and hits the polycarb again, but this time not penetrating the 5mm thick plastic due to losing some force upon hitting the wedge. However Joey is too late to bring the blade into play as Liar backs off and goes off to attack the others. Blast meanwhile has righted itself, but being shoved again by Exertion has been hit by the Disc of Death again and now we can see some slight damage to the actual side, above the skirt, but it's not enough to immobile the robot and Blast gets away...only to run straight into Liar 2! However Blast runs straight underneath the flipper and past it, leaving Liar prime position to be rammed by Exertion and leading Blast to ram straight into Eye of Ran's dangerous blade! However these hits are just not enough to do any damage to that 10mm Hardox scoop and though both robots get flung away again, Blast proves its durability by ramming straight into Liar and Exertion, getting under the latter and shoving both robots into an empty CPZ! Cassius Chrome is away again like a flash, and Eye of Ran has to dodge the house robot as it flies past him and into the rear of Blast, getting under him and punching him! Damocles is also away...Eye of Ran gingerly approaches the CPZ and awaits the first robot to escape it...it's Liar 2, falling off of Exertion on top of Blast, and Joey manages to get a direct hit on the side of the wedge, sending Liar spinning back into the CPZ! Liar however now has the nose directly pointed at Eye of Ran and rampages out before Eye of Ran can protect the blade! Liar powers under and with a beautiful toss sends Eye of Ran high into the air, who crashes down rather sickeningly...and unfortunately for Joey it's the wrong way up! It begins to spin up again, and make like a tree and leaf, but Liar is straight after him and gets under rather easily this time, and carries Eye of Ran to the wall...and utterly fails, for the resulting catapult sends Eye of Ran spinning like a VERY oddly shaped coin, landing off the railing and back into the arena, right side up!
Back in the CPZ Exertion isn't faring well, and Paul tries to OOTA him, but the scoop part of his flipper is pinned in the corner by Cassius Chorme, and moreso due to the fact that Cassius Chrome got under him and is punching him to death! Damocles is now perilously near, and Cassius Chrome backs off - any chance of flipping Exertion OOTA now is dashed as Exertion is now directly on top of Blast. Blast tries to turn around and imitate Vertigo's infamous reverse OOTA, but Damocles intercepts with a massive drumshot to the side of the scoop, forcibly lifting the flipper off the ground and then striking Blast's front end, sending him toppling over! Exertion, now free, gets the bloody hell out of the CPZ as Damocles moves in for more punishment and slashes Blast with the rear drum, but the armour stands up enough to the blow that it doesn't do Blast any internal harm. There are, however, several slashes in the armour now and Blast needs to self-right again...and it does so, finally free of the CPZ and of Damocles...and meanwhile Exertion's managed to ram into Eye of Ran and lift it up, then throw it against an arena wall again, but Liar is after Exertion and getting under from the back flicks him high into the air. Though Exertion lands rather heavily, he seems to be doing just fine inside and turns upon his attacker this time. Dodging by the thwacks, Exertion gets directly to the side and lifts Liar over, but with the lifter up manages to drive up against the side of Liar after Liar is flipped. Liar getting the hint turns with a rather weak thwack to Exertion's top armour as Exertion falls off, then quickly gets underneath Exertion, but Blast crashes the party by tackling the wheel of Liar, sending the Dutch flipping keeling! It activates its flipper anyway, and Exertion is hoisted up and away again! With another ground collision that Exertion shakes off rather well, Andy targets Blast next and rams into it, but forgets that a fully spun-up Eye of Ran is there and Joey, with Exertion completely blocking the way towards his preferred targets, slams the blade into Exertion and sends him spinning away, Joey apologizing to Andy in his control booth. Andy smirks, and Exertion, quite unhurt thank you very much, immediately goes straight at Eye of Ran, who tries to dodge now and go after Liar. Exertion barely misses his charge and now has a wedge pointed at him for his troubles. Blast is trying to get about Liar's side, but Liar is successfully keeping the boxy flipper at bay! Eye of Ran catches his attention by slamming straight into the previously hit wheel of Liar, again doing nothing more than cosmetic damage, and sending Eye of Ran straight into Exertion, who takes the gift-wrapped robot with utmost satisfaction and pulverizes Eye of Ran into one of the four Discs of Death!!! And like nothing, the 5mm polycarb, with the skirt attached to it, is shredded away like paper! Suddenly there is a note of panic of the Picus camp now, as his doom-giver has no more protection, let alone a Plan B!
Liar seems to notice this as well, but before he can act on giving Eye of Ran II whatfor, Blast is on his case and this time outmanoeuvres the 2WD bot, getting under the side! Again Liar goes bouncing away as Blast pushes him, but they go right over the arena saws, Blast failing to stop in time! BZZT! BZZT! Neither robot show the effects of damage, however, and Liar is gunning straight at Eye of Ran, Exertion under it and trying to slam it against the wall again. He fails this time around, but Liar is in there and heaves Eye of Ran into the air with the flipper again! Eye of Ran again manages to keep right-side-up, but Exertion is back at him! Blast however intercepts the Jackson machine, and slams it against the arena wall, but activating the flipper too late and nearly flipping itself! Exertion partakes in the given advantage and lifts Blast over from the side, and then slams him into Eye of Ran, who Liar gets under again, but as Joey gets tossed about once again, it's nearing the end of the match!
10...9...8...7...
Blast tries to attack Liar, and instead is forcfully shoved into Liar by Exertion, while Eye of Ran, now on its back again, spins up, apparently forgotten about!
6...5...4...
Liar moves around Jackson and Cuomo machines, but Eye of Ran thwarts his flipping plans with a desperate hit on nearly the top end of the wheel that hasn't gotten hit yet, and slightly dents it, the first time it's caused some damage to body armour this match! Both bots fly backwards!
3...2...1...
Liar charges Eye of Ran, gets under and flips! Exertion slams Blast into the arena wall once more time, Blast ricohceting off, but getting under Exertion again! FLIP!!!
CEASE!
OH MY!!! A very close call for Team ??? as Exertion is finally out of the arena, but we will have to go to our first ever four-way judges decision! This decision will be different from the others as all robots will be given a mark based on their own actions during the match.
Strategy
Exertion II - 1/5 * 1 = 1 (had no real set strategy, just went out and attacked everybody, so no real marks...however, this was extremely successful, as he managed to pull off many slams on all three of his opponents, so he gets a point)
Liar 2 - 2/5 * 1 = 2 (failed several times to utilize his manoeuvrability and weaponry, but the times he was successful, he made his mark, especially on Eye of Ran II.)
Blast - 3/5 * 1 = 3 (managed to ram Liar 2, his main target, a few good times, and even got a few flips in on Exertion II. However, he was unable to utilize opponent Eye of Ran II as hoped.)
Eye of Ran II - 4/5 * 1 = 4 (was very successful in protecting his blade until being shunted into the Disc of Death, and attacked Liar 2 and Blast several times. Good marks.)
Style
Exertion II - 1/5 * 2 = 2 (nothing really stylish here, though overturning Blast a few times was a bit fun to watch.)
Liar 2 - 3/5 * 2 = 6 (a few nice flips here and there, and thwacking Eye of Ran II and Blast certainly looked cool. Being shoved around by Blast, less so.)
Blast - 4/5 * 2 = 8 (the self-rights were a treat, and the toss against Liar 2 and those pushes that bounced Liar 2 up and over repeatedly looked really cool.)
Eye of Ran II - 3/5 * 2 = 6 (nice hits on Liar 2 and Blast, though none too damaging, sent them flying and impressed the crowd, but wasn't too impressive otherwise.)
Control
Exertion II - 4/5 * 3 = 12 (quite controlled...slights were figuring out how to drive upside-down (but getting the hang of it early, as seen!) and being unable to escape the CPZ)
Liar 2 - 1/5 * 3 = 3 (letting Blast get to his sides several times wasn't that great, and nor was losing control of Eye of Ran II and getting hit several times. He gets a point for holding Blast off for a bit.)
Blast - 3/5 * 3 = 9 (fairly controlled through the fight, managed to outpace Liar 2 and come straight back on the attack after walloped by Eye of Ran II. However, allowing himself to be a house robot chewtoy wasn't appealing)
Eye of Ran II - 3/5 * 3 = 9 (while a bit slow, he managed to utilize his strategy with precise control until the end of the match. On the other hand, allowing himself to be flipped about by Liar 2 wasn't good control.)
Aggression
Exertion II - 5/5 * 4 = 20 (aggressive throughout; let up for no one, and got straight back into the game after being attacked.)
Liar 2 - 3/5 * 4 = 12 (fairly tenacious, but rather cagey when being circled by Blast, or trying to avoid Eye of Ran II's weaponry.)
Blast - 4/5 * 4 = 16 (the next aggressive after Exertion II, reckless in its assaults against all three competitors, however Exertion II managed to stall its aggression from time-to-time.)
Eye of Ran II - 2/5 * 4 = 8 (slightly malicious, but was pursued nearly everywhere by Liar 2 and Exertion and could not be as aggressive as it wanted to be. Still, interrupting Liar 2 with its blade was nice.)
Damage
Exertion II - 3/5 * 5 = 15 (made major use of the Discs of Death by slamming Eye of Ran II and Blast into them, so good marks here, but was unable to do much by himself otherwise.)
Liar 2 - 2/5 * 5 = 10 (thwacked Eye of Ran II twice, and created a puncture, thwacked Blast, and possibly did some impact damage from his flips, but nothing too spectacular.)
Blast - 3/5 * 5 = 15 (also made use of the Discs of Death by shoving Liar into them, and made use of the arena saws as well.)
Eye of Ran II - 3/5 * 5 = 15 (despite the damage he took, he caused damage to all three competitors however little, the most of which was done to Blast at the start, whose skirt was gashed up, and then to Liar 2, who received a dent on his wheel.)
TOTAL
Exertion II = 50
Liar 2 = 33
Blast = 51
Eye of Ran II = 40
Eye of Ran II ran with an eye eye eye! all the way home, while Liar 2 cannot tell a lie...about his defeat!
Exertion II and Blast advance to Round 2!
