Teething issues

I've moved the two working escs onto one channel now so the other two can run together when they get back to me. When you say 1 micro f, do you mean 1u (funny u thing) f? I'll pick some up from maplins on Monday. I wanna have it ready for Worthing but at this rate, I'm not too sure if I will! Was also having issues with the failsafes, where they would seem to completely mess up the signal to the escs and not set to the wanted point. And also does anyone know if and where they do big standard 5mm 24v LEDs?

Yeh the micro symbol is the little u.

It's either 1 or 1000 micro farads...... have a look around google see what people say.

I'm guessing overvolting a 18v motor to 24v would to crazy things to the emf?

I used my 30 amp electronizes for the first time in about 8 years today, and I got the same failsafe problem you had on the DX6i. When I plugged the battery in, the one motor went forward but the other stayed still. Odd... it never did that with a skysport 4. I didn't know what was causing it, but now I think about it, the rx was taken from another robot, and hasn't been reset and rebinded. As far as I remember the DSM2 failsafe is set to the position of the sticks when you bind the receiver. So when it was initially binded, it had some subtrim on it, which was perfect for the robot it was on. Then I moved onto the new robot and removed the subtrim, but I think it still failsafes to the old robots settings.

I'm going to try setting my model data to default on the transmitter and rebinding with sticks at neutral, I reckon that'll sort it.

I understand, won't hurt to try anyway! there not anything i can wrap the signal wires in to protect them from interference?

if i run a seperate battery pack, won't i need to wire it into the removable link? just been checking the radio gear and now the elevator channel isn't working?! its got power as the failsafe light is on but no signal?! I've reset the Tx and rebinded and still nothing!

scrub that, the only channels working are throttle and aileron?! the failsafes when using these channels have a very dim red light and occasionally get brighter and/or flash green. Ive tried without the failsafes as well and it doesn't make a difference

are you running sperate failsafe's?
