Inlet Valve just needs to be rated to a minimum of 1000 WOG ...1000 psi Water Oil or Gas... material matters not.
The low pressure actuator needs to be rated so as to be able to overcome the valves initial torque and fully open it fast.
L.P. Regulator ONLY.
5/2 Valve sized to suit your low pressure ram.
H.P. Ram Exhaust valve ...A std 5404 Burkert or there are plenty of 1/4 2/2 valves around that have the correct rating.
Id suggest investigating a T port ball valve... this could give both inlet and exhaust.
You can use any pipe that you like ...just make sure it has the correct pressure rating.

supernova had a mind of its own. Pretty uncontrollable but pretty destructive! I still have all the bits to put it together but have no where to use it. The new robot will be 4-6 wheel drive, i like the look of the robot Ziggy from america...

ye ziggys good - i think you will be impressed with some of the flippers if you come to guildford - iron awe and envy are very good

or suren, sell me supernova and i will enter it lol
just think of that extra cash for the new toy!
im sure it was supernova that caused alot of damage to killalot smashing it really bad )or was it fluffy)
i always wondered though, in a fight once you somehow bottomed out on the floor and the wheels were off the ground, what caused that?

I wouldnt want to fight supernova with the new bot so am not selling it! Supernova has never bottomed out, who were we fighting? You can probably find the video on utube, search for supernova robot
Looking forward to seeing the robots at guildford, met a lot of the people before at some stage. I dont think i will run supernova again, it had so little grip that it was sliding all over the place. Really need 4WD, but thats tough to do with the current shape.
you can see the damage done to killalot here...

thats what happens when you stop a 22kg disc spinning at 2500rpm almost instantly. Poor killalot!

LOL good point, i will have a look on youtube to refresh my memory, perhaps it was sliding or something, all i remember off hand is it was against the arena wall near a cpz and the wheels were just spinning, and you couldnt move it.

It was against Spawn again where Supernova had major traction issues in series 6.
