Virtual Robot Wars Series 2

Right, now things are beginning to look like they wont implode...Ill have Nidhogg, seeing as I just redid it a bit:

WEIGHT: 100kgs
DIMENSIONS: 100 x 70 x 37 (47 inc weapon) cm
SHAPE: A long wedge with outward sloped sides and rear, similar to Lightning from S7
COLOUR: Dark green and gold roughly chevron patterning, fading to blood red towards the front. Weapons are gold coloured with flame red spines on the arm.
DRIVE: 2 LEM-130 motors run at 36v from three NiCad packs, driving two rear T6 aluminium wheels with Vulkalon tyres for grip, with a ball transfer unit just behind the forks in the nose.
SPEED: 15mph average, 25mph max
GROUND CLEARANCE: 0 at front due to forks, rising to 10mm at rear
ARMOUR: 4mm Hardox (7mm in key areas) on front, side and rear panels, 6mm T6 aluminium baseplate
WEAPONS: A hydraulic crushing arm, constructed from hardened tool steel and alloy aluminium, driven from a ram located behind the arm (similar to the old Executioner) and a Vivoil pump at 3000psi, giving 10 tonnes of force at the ram and 5 tonnes at the tip.
Also, there are a pair of electric lifting forks, similar to Haardvarks, at the front of the wedge driven by an S28-150 Magmotor and a lead screw capable of lifting 200kgs easily. These are mainly used to get under skirts and other wedges, and to break opponents traction and hold them so the crusher can come down and do damage.
SRIMECH: Via the weapon, which has decorative spines to assist in self righting. Spikes on the rear prevent stranding.
NOTES: Components and armour shock mounted for protection against large scary spinny things. Cutout eyes in side of robot serve as targeting lasers (they dont actually target, they just look really cool) protected by 7mm polycarbonate windows.
STRENGTHS: Can cause a lot of damage, good weapons synergy, maneuvrable
WEAKNESSES: Comparatively slow at self righting (about 1.5-2 seconds)

Considering you always seem to mess your tournaments up one way or another, count me out. :P

Well its true. You never regard people with respect. You steal vapourbots, you alter line-ups without anybodys permission, and more importantly, you insult people that give it to you bluntly, like just now. :P

If Im a stupid jerk, what would that make YOU? Ponder that.

If the FRA could allow it, we could ALL say something much more offensive about Mark than Stupid Jerk :angry:

And in addition, what evidence have you to go on that he is a stupid jerk? Kody is an Elite class Vapourboteer - and the Elite status isnt just down to the number of posts - its down to his abilty at writing fights and building vapourbots. And its the same with Martijn, AJ, Steven, Matty F, Martyn (:wink:), Liam and, of course, Joey.

True Mark, you may be an Advanced, but thats only down to your posts. You build vaourbots which you believe to be unbeatable and complain when they get beaten. Its not any specific technicality that you complained, it was the actual result, and youve written bad fights, and not been bothered to try and get any bit of vapourboteering right, you insult people, you entered our robots without permission, you were/are idiotic by sending posts which lack in common sense.

Mark, this tournament seemed to be a good chance for you to take our advice and get everything right, it seemed a second chance.

Yet, on the FIRST day of the tournament, you:

1 - Seed a vapourbot that was never ever entered in one of your tourneys before

2 - Handle your own rules inconsequently

3 - Enter a person who never claimed a spot in this tournament

4 - Gave said person a random bunch of realies he never asked for

5 - Showed us the draw before we even knew 50% of the entrants

6 - Had to start your tournament all over

All in 1 friggin day Mark, youre doing the exact same stuff over and over again without EVER improving yourself. Heck, TIMMY showed SOME improvement no matter how annoying he was. YOU ARE DOING THE EXACT SAME STUFF OVER AND OVER AGAIN, HOW CAN YOU EVEN THINK THAT AT ONE POINT YOU WILL GET IT RIGHT WITHOUT EVER CHANGING?!

Im in a bad mood, but Im standing behind every word I said.

Mark, I dont know why I kept giving you the chances I have, but this is it...take Nidhogg out, and unless you genuinely improve yourself Im not entering anything by you at all. Im sick of you.
