Thoughts for a Future Arena Floor Design

Ill tell you off the forum mate, Im not ready to announce anything yet not til Ive confirmed some other things

I will say im not selling a Robot Wars rehash its an all new format, its what i wanted to see out of robot wars with some great ideas from previous shows slipped in to beef up the profile, also gives the audience something they recognise.
Im also bringing in some elements of the best live robot events ive been too, all of them have been yours jonno

Okay, so this is the base of what I have so far...

Im going to add a standard flipper, pit, and possibly try to modify the arena hammer thats there at the moment. Other ideas welcome too.

This is a concept style render, so I have a 2d style shading on it. (And yes, more than six hours and this is all I came up with for now, 3ds max has shutdown 4 times for no reason LOL)

Floor pieces are 5 cm thick, each barrier support is 10 cm thick. This is to scale.

I think you may have the potential 2009 RR arena on the way :)

Looks cool.

It will need the 5mm x 250 high kick plate on it to reach the safety standards for the FRA :)
And need to be 400 mm off the ground to fit the pit into it. :)

Sure thing, I did elevate it, but I forgot to drop the floor or lift the arena (underneath you can see the supports, but the run INTO the floor becuase I didnt lift it)

have a back screen for us to stand high like at robot wars :)

there speaks someone who never stood in one, they were awfull, the curved thing made the arena look wierd it made me go dizzy just to stand up there
