More volts is better in your case, but it is still possible. How much weight do you have left? Belt drive is better for the disk motors.

I would stay away from chain drive. Specially in a feather, since chain is heavier then belt, and the motors tend to get less of a beating.
Now I know there are several robots out there with chain drive and perform very well and yadayadayada, but it is still better to have belt drive.
ok so its beter to juse belt drive everywhere...
i will take a look how the HTI motors will preform on 14.4 vols, and if it prefomes bad ill take 24 volts...
what is better to juse timing belts:

or this belts:

and witch pitch do i need(if i take timingbelds)
a 0.080 Pitch or a 0.200 Pitch?
The smallet the pitch, the smaller the pullies can be. The smaller the pully, the lower the weight.
Also, why would you order a thing like that in the US, and paying lots of taxes and transport, when this is stuff you can find localy.
but will the smallest pitch be strong enought
(if i juse 2 belts) to power my +/-2 kilo disk?
wont the brake?
do you know a place where i can buy stuff like that in holland?
I dont know directly where to buy it in the Netherlands. As I live in Belgium.
But Inventor, Cavecrusher and a few others on the Dutch forum do.
