nay, i like goosfraba better.
i was just looking for a way to get BonX from a lame way-overpowered pushbot to something cooler.

I have got to get me one of those!!! :)
Having seen the video, I think its high time the FRA took another look at this no flame-thrower rule!!
...What do you think??
You would end up using Napalm
Do you think that Pete and Dave of RR would appreciate scraping up all the melted polycarb armoured ex robots that would be firmly stuck to the floor is this were allowed?
What floor Karoline after all it is made out of wood
Point taken
Morpheus / Goosfraba / Alcoholic stepfather all have the same system, a big bright clearly visible flame to add to the coolness factor of the robot.
Would they have chozen for effectiviness it would have been a small blue one.
And even so, i would be more worried fighting Scorpion Jr. / Little spinner than some bot with a not so effective but wicked cool flame-thrower

considering some current roboteers that are likely to build one if we do allow it- God no!!
we give people enough ways to kill themselves as it is, introducing something else they can pretend to understand would be deadly.
after already setting myself on fire a few weeks ago, I would tend to agree with James B comments there!
if you want a weapon that produces nice sparks or that for the crowd then use an angle grinder disk, not going to cause much in the way of damage but at the same time will make some nice sparks against steel or titanium bots. Been thinking about doing this with the featherweight so I can run it at events where the arena cant handle spinners. What are peoples views on this idea? And more importantly, would it be breaking any rules?
as long as it dosent shatter then i think it is ok.
