we get ours from a mitsubishi TR magna, its the radiator fan motor. but you can get ones that are about the same diameter much taller and with a similar spinning plate out of 1980s ~ nissan pintaras and skylines.

Thanks for the comments all. The feather will be competing in MMM 4 in Hattingen, Germany. There no doubt i will be able to get a video or at least action shots of it working.

cos its too heavy for the ant and anyway 12 kg is the max as long as it gets to 1 kg then its a feather.

The first couple of fights my driving was awful, because it was way overpowered and a very slippery surface. I tuned down te power a bit after the second fight wich made the driving a lot better.

Still some things to be sorted out, specificly the liquid co2 that is being wasted and freezes my system up.

little question. Im currently rebuilding BonX, and it seems i have weight left (about 2 kg.)
would it be allowed to have a show flamethrower?
Upto the event organiser if it was used outside of battle. but it does say no flamethrowers in the rules for fighting.

You should be ok if you take it to battle in america there the RFL rules allow more experimental and risky designs like flamethrowers (http://www.teammadcow.com/morpheus_2.htmMorpheus
