Belt got tangled round the motor pulley after it got shredded on a bit of Wedgie's flipper that I'd bent up. Didn't have any exact replacements so been bodging it with thinner longer belts and had to replace it after each fight so far. Smashed a tooth off the drum in the fight with Galactus so that's away with the Coopers tonight to get re-welded and I should have two or three belts to try out tomorrow.

Gonna be a nervy battle with Cobalt. Only got 6mm poly protecting my ESCs!

Thanks for the updates guys. An interesting comp for sure. Can't wait to see the vids. I'm still gutted I couldn't make it :(

Just got back from it. Thanks to everyone for being so friendly, we all had a great time! I'm pretty sure we'll be at another event soon. Just as soon as I make another robot.

Home now with Conker. Just want to say thanks to everyone for an amazing event and experience! Already have ideas running through my head on the next version of Conker, though I might change its name back to Shrapnel after NST turned it into just that; thanks sam :lol: I will get the pics and videos we got some time soon. Got a good one of Wedgie in mid-air 8)

Was a great event, came away with a working robot

I must be the only person to go to a full combat event and not take a spinner hit ;)

But I would really like to thank razordave for his excellent advise and willingness to help, Alex marler for lending me his charger and giving advise, team bitza for lending us batteries and helping us fix our bots, the person who's name escapes me who lent me a drill motor and all the other people who helped us :D

Despite all this help we didnt get on well :sad: ,invictus got stuck on the floor in every single fight so it came 37th with 4 points I think. Thanks to whoever said that arena look was completely flat :angry:
Centrifuge had it first fight vs kaizer and ts2 but kaizer didn't work properly, at one point ts2 got stuck so if I had left him I would have won but I decided to hit him with our bar so got him going again then he bent our bar which made the motor break and he bent our armour and then at the end one of our wheels came unscrewed and got stuck against the side of the bot which broke the drill motor and then blew the relay our electronize and we couldn't get a spare motor which fitted so that was the end of centrifuge.

For next time I will get invictus more ground clearance and replace the speed 900 which broke as apart from that it worked well. But I think centrifuge needs a complete rebuild, but that can be arranged.not sure when our next (non spinner) event will be as we don't have a bot at the moment.

you mean my robot TS2 not nst btw, i couldnt believe how it perfomed against centrifuge i wasnt expecting that, gutted i shattered my motor bracket.... Twice!
