Yes. I agree Leo. It was actually the DX5e/BR6000 combo i was reffering to. The DX6i works very well with DSM2 receivers.

Grant, can you give me a quote for two AR500s please. We will need two before Reading in October else Kronic is unusable.
Thanks
Dave
Dave, you have mail:)
Bought myself a DX5e while im waiting to get my DX6 repaired for the event this weekend, (and as a backup for the future)... i have to say the actual TX itself is.. what you pay for.. but the failsafes on the dx5e set are much better then the ones in the BR6000 setups.. no 5second delay..
Cheap & simple Dave?
yup, shame it doesnt have anytype of mixing built in, if it did it would be awsome.. i was just impressed with the failsafe response mostly.
ah sorry, it does have delta wing mixing :) didnt play around with it enough.. even better.
By the way Dave, did you try it with your BR6000s to see if they work OK?
Andy
Im gonna sell my two BR6000s if anyones interested.£25 each ono, basically brand new.Anyone interested please e-mail me on dlang@stanleyworks.com.
Dave
not yet Andy. I dont have a BR6000 at the moment- have lent it to another team.
Dave, If you want one I have one for sale for £25
Strike that, just sold it :)
Weve now got 1 AR500 receiver left if anyone is interested.
i bought one of grant months ago but still havnt got it lol.. dont have a working dx6 at the moment either so im in no rush

Not an AR500 you didnt lol. Weve got your BR6000 for whenever you wantr to pick it up :)
bring it to the works on saterday if kennys still coming along, Can i get a dx7 antenna aswell.
Just to let you all know, ran DX5e/BR6000 (Cylon), DX6i/AR500 (Hydra) and DX5e/AR500 (Boom)set ups at Portsmouth and it was utterly uneventful. Everything ran perfectly with no complaints. Luke did say that the tx died on Cylon in the last fight when he was upside down and trying the lifter but as Ive just opened it up and found that the lifter mechanism became detached from the base I doubt that any comms problem was the cause.
Andy
Weve tested the DX5e and AR500 in Pusher last weekend and it performed beautifully.
Ive got a DX7 Ive just set it up for my Ant Anto3 but Im having a problem with the mixing
Forward and back are fine but left and right only one wheel moves,
Its got 2 seperate controllers controlling 2 motors
Eleron and Aileron mixed both set to -125% it wont mix at all with it on that setting
can anyone help
Craig
I assume youve selected the correct mix and the controllers havent an onboard mixing function.
So...you may have a MODE 2 transmitter ( right stick Ail and Ele ) that is set as Mode 1 ( right stick Ail and Throttle )... anyway its worth a quick try.
SWAP a plug over on the receiver ...take the one from Ele and put it into the Throttle channel.
You could also check that the reciever channels match the transmitter stick with a servo ...after switching off all the mixing.
Suren had a similar type prob recently on his secondhand Spektrum transmitter and the Mode didnt match the Transmitter sticks.

I am not sure if the DX7 is the same as the DX6i but on that I use.
MIX1
ELEV + AILE ACT
RATE L -100% R -100%
SW ON TRIM ACT
MIX2
AILE + ELEV ACT
RATE D +100% U +100%

cheers Pete
What is the latest on the dx6i problem front.Wendy needs a tx for her featherweight and is not sure weather to go for dx5,dx6 or dx6i.Advice please
Best combinations in random order:
DX6 and BR6000
DX5 and AR500
DX6i and AR500
All three combos work as required for failsafe.
Possible DX6i pot issues...

Interesting... I saw a new Robbe transmitter with a similar issue just the other day!
