May as well join in the TAN hunt, I suspect my flipper will prove useful here.
One day I shall beat Killotine.
ROUND ONE:
Black Panther Queen (5) vs. Tough As Nails vs. Exertion
Not looking good for TAN here - I predict the fight to be over in 20 seconds via the pit, or similar.
Turbo Tails (21) vs. Intrigue vs. Paralyzation
Given the team up, Ill take Paralyzation to leave the arena missing some bits.
Good fights Paul, theyre getting better and better :)
I think Ill go for Turbo Tails here, and smash through the fur all the way to the innards, and since my drum CAN easily cut through hardox, and my tires are shockproofed, I think I may have a chance here.
Sorry, Samuel, but hardox cant be cut through like that, and leastaways not with a drum. Your plan is flawed :proud:
ok, it can cut through titanium.
Its not really that simple, for one thing by definition a drum has quite a thin diamter so its force isnt that great. Personally thats why I never use drums: they never seem to do as good a job as alternate weapon choices.
Anyway, bear in mind drums are not cutting weapons either, and that both titanium and hardox are sturdy enough to take hits from reasonably potent flywheels. ..
Oh, and Martijn be two entries short in his low walls tournament, Samuel. If you would be so kind to enter a robot after reading the rules... :proud:
No, this thread aint dead, Ive just been pre-occupied. So heres the next heat.
HEAT 3
ROUND ONE:
Black Panther Queen (5) vs. Tough As Nails vs. Exertion
Turbo Tails (21) vs. Intrigue vs. Paralyzation
+1>From Geddington, seeded #5, Black Panther Queen!!
-1>Entered by Alex Holt
Thee honourable majesty has come to claim her rightful throne! Hoping to do better than all its previous effects and win, the Black Panther Queen (or BPQ) has an axe/flipper combo that can be suitably admired, can two Bosch motors. The speeds given are 24mph and 4hp, not the best in a straight shoving match but good enough. The axe is diamond edged and made of steel and capable of piercing, and the flipper can lift around 550kg! It has 4 wheel drive and the rear is sprung down to provide better grip. The armour is made of 5mm Aluminium Boron Carbide and has two inches of Titanium foam in the front to absorb the massive shock damage it can take from super-spinners. Only if it faces a spinner, it will not look to good after the fight!
In E.O.T.R 1: Started poorly after being tossed OOTA by PCC, just after immobilising The Nose 3.0, but it redeemed itself by hammering and then OOTAing No Close Shave 3 in Round Two and then getting its own back upon PCC in the Heat Final. SNDOS carved the Panther into something horrible in the final 12, but Alex controlled his robot to greatness and pitted SNDOS in the final minutes of the fight. In the final 6, it caught Crusher C.U in the clutches, but then they were both pitted by Killotine: EVO, but Black Panther Queen went on to claim 4th place in the play-off!
In E.O.T.R 2: (SEEDED 4) Had little to no difficulty in the heat, where it flipped Flea 2.0 down the pit before knocking Scottishly Fiction down as well in Round One, then it pushed and flipped T.O.C.2 over the ring before a pitting and then giving 20th seed Drilla Killa 7 a boot from the competition and arena! In the semis though, it went completely wrong from the word go, with the 16th seed Big Nipper turning it over and pushing it around, but Black Panther Queen just survived on a 39-36 decision, and then it got completely bashed and torn out of shape by 8th seed and eventual champion Whirligig 4.0, who won on a JD 49-26.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 5) Teamed-up with Atomic to help dispose of the speedy rammer PMPY, with Alex scoring another vital OOTA, before in Round Two, it met Killer, a robot with a tough name, but it was nothing compared to the seed, who flipped it OOTA so early, but Atomic gave it a bit of hassle in the Heat Final, until Black Panther Queen put it straight down the pit. The 25th seed Clawdius Decimus Murderous had just risen to greatness in E.O.T.R, before Alex ruined it through another OOTA. But it was soon to get a taste of its own medicine in the Round Five battle against surprise package, Wedginator 6.0, where they both exchanged axe blows and flipper flips, but ultimately, Black Panther Queen ended upside-down against the wall, before Wedginator sent it over!
+1>From Holland, Tough As Nails!
-1>Entered by Jeroen van der Loo
Just as hard as the name suggests! Basically just a pair of massive horizontal jaws on two thick wheels powered by 2 x 1300w motors at 24V, Tough as Nails can crush, grab and push with the greatest of ease! The 13mph speed seems to be slow, but its just right for the needs of this robot, and the 5mm Hardox construction make it a particularly challenging foe, but the CO2 mechanics for the claws are pretty exposed from the rear...
In E.O.T.R 1: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 2: Didn€™t enter.
In E.O.T.R 3: Fell at the first hurdle after being flipped over again and again by 6th seed Wedge Devolution and eventually OOTA, but not before it nearly got rid of Infusion.
+1>From Bourne, Lincolnshire, Exertion!!
-1>Entered by AJ
No pain, no gain! Originally known as ForcePower Turbo, Exertion is one tough worker with a box-like shape and invertibility and it also has four internal wheels, each 170mm in diameter with a central hub of 7075 Aluminium. They are treaded with Asmaprene urethane rubber to provide excellent grip on all arena surfaces and are especially designed to be resistant to oil spills and other debris on the arena floor! To top it off, 5mm Hardox monocoque construction makes it near to unbreakable, and the wheels are powered by four S28-400 Magmotors, one powering each wheel. There are run at 24v off 3x 24v NiCad battery packs. This produces around 18hp of drive. 15mph top speed, and a 10mm Titanium wedge at the front that can be used to lift up other robots! The only thing that can let it down is the 1cm clearance on all sides, so a flipper will have a field day!
In E.O.T.R 1: Taken out in the first round against fellow rammers Storm 2 and Shovearound 2 - they ganged up to ram it about the arena with ease, and to beat ForcePower Turbo on a clean sweep JD 13-25-38.
In E.O.T.R 2: Did a lot better in the competition this time, when in Round One, it shoved about 9th seed Tornado and Nodachi, but it succeeded in Nodachi. In Round Two it met up with a devilish entity called The Demonic Element, and it was a challenge to fight, with a side-panel being torn in two, but soon The Demonic Element was pitted and ForcePower Turbo was through to Heat Final to meet Mr. Slave 2, who also caused damage to the side again, but once again, ForcePower pitted its enemy to win the heat! It put up a fight against its next opponent Kali, but Kali was too strong and soon ForcePower Turbo went OOTA!
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 14) Helped GBOD take down Heimlich, and Heimlich was ripped inside-out by the power of GBOD, but it met Fick Me 4-3, and Exertion shockingly lost the JD.

The flying Dutchman leaves the starting position and makes a dash for BPQ, but BPQ hits first, with assistance from Exertion! Tough As Nails collides with a BANG and the axe of the seeded BPQ starts to bash down onto the top of the FBC and Exertion drives it very hard into the arena wall! The seed now ploughs into the side of Tough As Nails and pushes it away, and now brings the axe down AND IT HITS THE REAR GAS BOTTLE! The sharpened axe with the piercing point has driven right through the solid gas bottle! Exertion just sits and watches before BQP drives Tough As Nails all the way across the arena towards the edge, and BANG! A big smash, no flip, BUT THE POWER OF THE CHARGE HAS RIPPED OUT THE GAS BOTTLE! Tough As Nails, now hobbling drives back at Exertion, which hasn€™t done much and Tough As Nails hits it side-on and pushes it into the pit release button, and now BPQ now hits in again and now pushes Tough As Nails away from Exertion and flips Tough As Nails over, but Exertion seems to be on the arena sidewall after that assault! Tough As Nails is pushes to the edge of the ring and flips Tough As Nails into a 360, but it doesn€™t quite go OOTA, but Exertion is still trapped on the sidewall, and THE AUDIENE HAVE STARTED THE COUNT!

BLACK PANTHER QUEEN (5) AND TOUGH AS NAILS GO THROUGH TO ROUND TWO!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------
+1>From Scotland, seeded #21, Turbo Tails!!
-1>Entered by Steven McGregor
Hoping this time not to go home with his Tails between his legs, the comedybot is back for another slash at the title! Tails has been given the Turbo it deserves, using 2 x C40-500 MagMotors which are super-lightweight and durable, and are capable of maximum 12hp! The armour makes it one of the toughest vapours about, using a 3.5mm Hardox monocoque construction with a 2mm layer of fur over the top! 4 wheels give utter control and agility, so it can bring the near lethal rear spinning bar powered by a LEM130 motor to give 2500rpm! At the front of the robot is a forward hinged flipper powered by 750psi pneumatics, and the arm can make a useful flipper/self-righter - but it may not self-right ALL the time.
In E.O.T.R 1: Used the bar on Mega Masher 2 in Round One, and helped Flux impale Mega Masher on the wall, allowing a way into Round Two where after a close battle with Son Of Ripper 4.0, Son Of Ripper got it near the wall and tossed it out.
In E.O.T.R 2: Disappointed its fan base, when in Round One, it got battered by T.B and tossed OOTA once more, this time by 3rd seed Y4.
In E.O.T.R 3: Finally showed what it was made of in the E.O.T.R era, when it pushed Splinter into the 13th seed Psyclonised, battering the armour of Splinter before pushing it down the pit, and then used the bar to cause some nice cuts in the disc of 29th seed Dante before shoving him down the pit as well. But in the Heat Final, Psyclonised won through by killing Tails in a 1 hit kill!
+1>From Toronto, Canada, Intrigue!!
-1>Entered by Kody Kunz
The mysteries of this robot are best kept hidden! This sickening green box with two spiked scoops, one at the front, and another at the rear, as well as an axe! The axe on this robot is a great big dirty axe powered dual 2kg CO2 containers. It can hit on both sides due to its rack-and-pinion thwacking design. The front of the axe head is nice, pointed, and Hardox-tipped for pecking into opposing bots€™ armours. The rear of the head is Terrorhurtz-style, allowing for big, heavy blows. Attached around the axe head is a small Hardox skirt that not only protects the axe from damage from the front, but also allows Intrigue to flip an opponent if it lands on the skirt. Special 4 S28-400 Magmotors motors give it power and special Titanium armourment keeps it protected, but the axe may run out of power, and then it could be in trouble.

It€™s a 19mph Titanium armoured box-wedge with a front mounted 19kg Spinning Drum with 10 teeth Powered by a 24V LEM-130, spins at 4600rpm, making it very powerful! 2 Magmotors S28-400 each at 24V powers 2 Wheels with a thin layer of Vulkalon rubber on them, but the drum can€™t be reversed if flipped and the 3mm ground clearance on everything except the front means it might get flipped!

The Scot moves out, and the charging Paralyzation thwacks into the front wedge of Intrigue, which is what Kody wanted - SLICE! The axe comes down, and the axe has sliced into the Titanium armour of Paralyzation, which is now being escorted now INTO THE BLADE OF TURBO TAILS! The sound of the bar ripping into metal is deafening to Samuel, but joy to Steven as the side armour of Paralyzation is torn open! Intrigue is free and pushes into the side of Paralyzation and slams it against the pit release button, before Turbo Tails comes in, this time with the flipper, and slams into the side of Paralyzation, flipping it up! And as Paralyzation lands over, Intrigue and Turbo Tails attack with their weapons! They back away as Paralyzation slides down, and it€™s not working! Intrigue slams the axe in, and powers the dead robot down the pit€¦OF DOOM!

HEAT C
ROUND 2
Tough as Nails VS TURBO TAILS (21)
That rhymes and you know it rhymes.
Two possible methods of attack here. First, Ill zip around to the sides and hit the wheels with the spinning bar. If TANs suitably weakened by this, Ill resort to simply charging it and trying to dump it in the pit.
*swoops in and MAGICALLY and HEARTWARMINGLY bestows Paul with the ability to write even better fights than he does already*
PREDICTIONS:
Black Panther Queen vs. Intrigue
Uh...tough one this. Itll go to the judges, and Intrigue will win on aggression or damage, or something.
TaN vs. Turbo Tails
If Tough as Nails can survive an intial hit from the bar, it could pit Tails very easily. I dont think it will though...Tails FTW.
Yahoo, first win for Intrigue :proud: Awesomeness, Paul. :)
Black Panther Queen (5) vs. Intrigue
Oh for the love of...:lame:. Eh, Ill just nip to the sides with my more controlled drive, and hack away. Perhaps I can destroy his own axe mechanism. Be aggressive, dont ever stop attacking, and take advantage of when BPQ misses a charge.
Turbo Tails (21) vs. Tough As Nails
You know, Turbo Tails bar may not be low enough to hit TAN. Im actually going to go for TAN here.
Turbo Tails is 25cm high without the bar.
According to the official RW7 stats, Tough as Nails is 37cm high.
You do the maths.
All right. Turbo Tails FTW then. :proud:
Ability to write good fights
Yes please... :uhoh: Maybe Im just a sore loser, but I thought my fight was pretty bad. Sorry Paul, keep trying.
Isnt TaN low enough to avoid the rear top mounted bar on Tails?

Skid marks appear on the steel floor as BPQ storms off the starting line as it speeds out to meet Intrigue! The robots try to turn into the sides of one-another, but they both miss! Kody tries to pull Intrigue back under control, but BPQ has done it quickest, and SMASHES into Intrigue€™s rear. A flip, and a few milliseconds later, Intrigue is over and the Team Doomforall design is bringing the axe into play on the base panel, as the axe comes down and causes a slight hole in underbelly but the Canadian responds with instant reaction timing and it leaps into the air, as Intrigue flies over and is righted! However, Alex charges underneath and it now pushes Intrigue towards the arena wall! Kody panics, but regains his senses to spin away from the seeded robot, but it spins too quickly! BPQ is now around the rear, and now turns Intrigue over once more and pushes it towards and flips! Kody fires his axe his rage as€¦HE FALLS BACK INTO THE ARENA! The audience and Kody cheer as he realises this fact, and turns around and charges Intrigue head-on into BPQ and now slices down with the axe! The axe has become impaled in the front armour, and Alex tries to push, but he knows who has the more power, and it€™s not him! Alex is pushed back against the wall, and the axe of Intrigue comes loose, allowing the 5th seed to bring down its own axe, which is causing serious dents into the Titanium! Intrigue hits it again, but a flip from BPQ has got Intrigue in the place it wants - trapped under the flipper without its traction! BPQ now escorts Intrigue over to the pit release button! Intrigue is knocked away by the hit and now spins and hits the axe in again! Alex reverses, but Intrigue wrestles it towards the pit€¦AND BPQ FALLS DOWN! Kody launches into hysterics as Intrigue makes the Heat Final!

Damn right! HAHAHA! :proud: I seriously wasnt expecting that. :proud: Awesome stuff.
Turbo Tails (21) vs. Intrigue
Well, lets see...Turbo Tails, as Frank mentioned, is unable to self-right with the flipper (its using the low-pressure one for this tournament)...I think Im going to try something else along with my usual tactics of hack to death - Im going to try and slide under Turbo Tails with the wedge attached to the axe, and then flip it with the axe by retracting. It shouldnt be hard as long as Ive got Turbo Tails in line. If it becomes a problem, grapple and push to pit.
But the best thing I have going for me is my lowness. Turbo Tails cant hit Intrigue with the rear bar as Intrigue is 15cm high. :proud: Take that into account folks.
Id love to see how Steve can counter this.
Added tactics: Get under Turbo Tails flipper, and push it into the wall. Lets see how badly I can smash TTs blade into the wall :proud:

ROUND 3
Intrigue VS TURBO TAILS (21)
Yaaay! My inferior Paint skills are going to get me killed once more! :lame:
Not much I can do here. One thing Kody has overlooked, though, is Intrigues ground clearance. At a mere 1mm max, itll have a tough time overcoming the smallest of bumps - like my wedge. Tactics here are to charge the sides (preferebly at the corners) and try to get under that low, low ground clearance. If I succeed, keep charging so it rides up on top of Turbo Tails and into the spinning bar. Being short is no guarantee of safety from the tails, Kody.
At a mere 1mm max, itll have a tough time overcoming the smallest of bumps
Small mistake. That shall be changed later. :lame: Hopefully by the same time TT lowers its spinning bar.
Sound still be a good match, just relying on aggression. :)
One more thing: keep the axe out of range of that bar, for IT CAN get hit if I swing it down at the wrong time. :lame:

The robots seem to be tentative moving out into battle, with the Scottish fluffy robot spinning its hellish blade, and Kody with Intrigue sitting and waiting€¦now though he CHARGES AT THE FRONT OF TURBO TAILS! Steven stylishly dodges away that sign of peril, and bashes the front-right corner of Intrigue, but can€™t seem to push that far under underneath! However, Intrigue is stuck on the wedge, and Intrigue finds himself being escorted to the side, as Steven tries to push Intrigue onto the top of Turbo Tails€¦BUT HE CAN€™T! And now Intrigue fires his axe to force himself away from Turbo Tails! He now ends up side-on to Turbo Tails and BRINGS THE AXE DOWN! No notable damage is caused, but now Kody goes into reverses! And the layer of front fur is partly ripped off! Steven seems angered by this, and charges in once more, and gets under the body of Intrigue, and it performs the Highland fling on Intrigue! Kody doesn€™t hesitate when it comes to him self-righting, but Steven doesn€™t hesitate either, and bring the bar in to SLICE AT THE BASE PANEL! Nothing seems to have been sustained by Intrigue, and now he slices down the axe down once more, but Steven turns to get the bar into play on the axe! The axe hits the central spinning part of the bar, and the axe retracts, and Steven drives forward with the flipper, but he notices something - the bar isn€™t working! Steven now tries to get the flipper into play, but Intrigue spins away, and takes his chance to ram Turbo Tails over the flipping spike! Turbo Tails is now upside-down and it can€™t ALWAYS self-right! Intrigue takes this chance to hit the pit release button! Turbo Tails now fires its flipper, AND IT SELF-RIGHTS ITSELF! Steven is relieved, but Kody now gets his wedge underneath Turbo Tails, and the axe is brought down! Turbo Tails is now being moved across the arena to the pit, AND IS NOW ON THE EDGE! Turbo Tails is balancing, with the axe still in Turbo Tails! Intrigue fires the axe€¦AND THE AXE HAS COME LOOSE! Turbo Tails falls down the pit with a BANG! Intrigue rotates in the middle of the ring, and fires the axe in joy!

Welcome one of the most simplistic but effective vapourbots ever! It€™s a low, sleek 4mm Hardox protected wedge, powered by 2 x LEM130€™s for 18hp in the drive! 16mph is the need, and flipping is its need with the classic rear-hinged flipper design The flipper itself is powered by 2 X 80mm high pressure pneumatic rams, each running at 250psi. This should allow Wedge to comfortably flip up to 1 ton! The 7mm ground clearance is protected on ALL sides by BioHazard style skirts, and a front extension to get under everything! It can self-right easily, but with only 2kg worth of gas on board, it could run out of power quite early!
In E.O.T.R 1: Appeared in the first ever E.O.T.R battle with Y4 and Flipping Hell. Y4 overturned Flipping Hell, which killed itself, putting Wedge and Y4 into Round Two, where Wedge easily bossed over Invertex to win the JD 49-26. But in the Heat Final, the series shocker Y4 flipped it into the now-removed bot-shredders to immobilise it, making Wedge crash out of the competition!
In E.O.T.R 2: (SEEDED 11) The removal of the bot-shredders proved to help Wedge greatly, as it tossed Merlin and Rouge about the place before it was assisted in an OOTA by Merlin, and Rouge went flying! GeForce Evo 3.0 needed to evolve once more, as Wedge got under and flipped it out easily! Merlin was the next victim to say goodbye to the arena in the Heat Final, despite being trapped by Merlin. However, its greatest task came in the form of 23rd seed Psyclonised, who broke off both of the side panels, but Wedge converted to bravery mode and then shockingly flipped Psyclonised OOTA! But in Round Five, it had an ultra-close battle against 2nd seed Storm 2, and they had an extreme battle, where Storm 2 won, by a JD 38-37.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 6) Took out Tough As Nails quite early, after struggling with Infusion, but Tough As Nails went OOTA, before its greatest challenge against the almighty Sheer Heart Attack 2. The Dutch machine battered it, but the drum was grounded to a halt by constant pressuring from the seed who then pitted it! Then a grudge match against 22nd seed GeForce 4.0. A one-sided flipping battle which ended with GeForce landing on its opened flipper. GeForce then got back and then got revenge by flipping Wedge OOTA, but that was after the count, so Wedge won through! 10th seed Orka MK.4 bossed Wedge in Round Four, but Wedge finally got it on the flipper to toss it OOTA, but in the Quarter Finals, it took on newcomer Eternia, which proved to have the lower flipper and so it flipped Wedge all through the fight to win on a JD.
+1>From Bourne, Lincolnshire, SOR Hex!!

The deadly relative of the Ripper itself! SOR is a box-wedge shape robot, which is a classic shape, and of course it€™s invertible, and armed with a central rear hinged flipping arm, which runs across the top of the robot and down the front wedge. This is powered by an 80mm bore 100 stroke ram fed with CO2 at 145psi. There is around 4.5kgs worth of gas on board which gives multiple flips during a match. The motors are 2 x LEM130€™S AT 36v, giving 18hp, and the 15mph to allow for control and power. It has multiple rear weapons like a 10kg Horizontal spinning bar driven by an S28-400 Magmotor at 24V, the classic SOR saw blade as in the original version, a 10kg Vertical spinning bar driven by an S28-400 Magmotor at 24V or an anti-spinner plate. The robot is wholly brilliant, but the wheels might be exposed to crushers and axes!
In E.O.T.R 1: Started off dreadfully after being smashed around by Archangel Of The Abyss, but it then deflected Archangel down the pit, allowing SOR to win through along with Snakebite VI. In Round Two, it had a battle with Tails, which ended with SOR OOTAing Tails, but in the Heat Final, it was easily smashed and bashed by Flux before being pitted!
In E.O.T.R 2: (SEEDED 19) Again started off dreadfully when Gyrate ripped off its open flipper, but Gyrate had its 2mm Polycarbonate armour destroyed by Star 69 so SOR could go through to OOTA T.B in double quick time! But then it was bash around by Star 69, who then spun SOR down the pit!
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 21) Finally got a good go in Round One, as it and Killer attacked Blackdevil Warzone to win on a JD, but then, shockingly, it had a battle against Atomic, who withstood its weapon attacks to shove it down the pit!
+1>From Norwich, Iron-Awe 5!!
-1>Entered by Rob Grimm
You€™ll be left awe-struck by this next robot! Iron-Awe 5 is a wedge with sloped sides and a super-powerful flipper! The armour is 3mm Hardox, including the base, as everything is mounted on the Hardox base, making it extremely tough and strong. 2 x Bosch 24V motors give 2hp and 12mph! The flipper is a high pressure CO2 system that fires a non-attached ram and is capable of flipping a 100kg robot 4ft into the air! All good, but the high rear ground clearance is deadly!

Wedge seems to be the fastest out and hits underneath the front of Iron-Awe! SOR is letting the bar spin up, as Wedge tosses Iron Awe 5 over, and now the realie backs away from the monstrous robot, and now SOR charges in with the bar! The bar hits into the rear of Iron-Awe, but no damage appears to have been sustained, and Rob now spins underneath, and SOR now goes skywards! SOR lands very near the arena edge, but Steven charges in quickly to knock Iron-Awe away, and a shot from the flipper turns it over. Iron-Awe suddenly performs an amazing self-righting move, and turns to slide under the skirts of Wedge, and sends the seed FLYING! Wedge lands the right way-up, and now SOR brings the flipper into play on Iron-Awe, but the flipper doesn€™t seem to be able to get under the sides, but Iron-Awe easily does get underneath the side clearance! Away flies SOR once more, as AJ curses his luck, Wedge now moves in and attacks, but Iron-Awe hits under the sides again, and flips! Wedge, upside-down quickly self-rights, and NOW SOR gets underneath the sides of iron-Awe 5! And now, Iron-Awe ends upside-down, and Wedge charges underneath and pushes it to the edge! Wedge activates its flipper, and Iron-Awe flies over the arena wall, and lands with a crunch! Wedge celebrates another OOTA, and both he and SOR spin in the middle of the ring!
Result:
Iron-Awe 5 rusts away!
WEDGE DEVOLUTION (7) AND SOR HEX GO THROUGH TO ROUND TWO!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------
+1>From Onehouse, Suffolk, seeded #23, Die-Ceratops ReInvertus!!
-1>Entered by Christopher Mason
Archaeologists have discovered a new breed of dinosaur - it seems to be known as Die-Ceratops ReInvertus, meaning €˜the likely winner of this contest€™! Since last series, the Dinosaur has undergone a couple of chances, including a higher ground clearance to make it more controllable, and it also now has more powerful motors, like the 2 x S28-400 Magmotors at 24V, making 12hp on 4 wheels. The armourment on this beast is 8mm Titanium which provides some good defence, so it can get the flipper into play, as the flipper produces 1000kg at the tips! A speed of 15mph makes it very tough to combat, but there are more agile robots about!
In E.O.T.R 1: Bombed out in Round One, after nearing taking out MORD2, it got its tyres torn into rubber strips by Whirligig 4.0.
In E.O.T.R 2: Did much better by flipping about SUNCUST after 8th seed Whirligig damaged SUNCUST before Die-Ceratops OOTAed the American, despite taking a bit of grief. In Round Two, it dealt out ALL the grief to 24th seed Dantomkia. After immobilising Dantomkia and then tossing it down the pit, it met Whirligig once more, and put up a very good fight, once nearly getting it OOTA, but the eventual champion was able to tear up the wheels once more.
In E.O.T.R 3: (SEEDED 15) Took out the terrifying Infusion Gamma in a matter of seconds, without help of Axeon 2.0. Then the second round, an equally short performance, as the lethal Full-Body Drum (FBD) of Aftershock was shocked and out, but then he took on Axeon 2.0, and a thrilling battle ensued, which involved flips, and a lot of axe-blows. Sadly though, Die-Ceratops stopped moving in the dying moments of the battle, allowing Axeon to win.
+1>From Holland, Axe To Fall!!
-1>Entered by Martijn Benschop
Named after that great Queen song, this hopes to sing the song of victory! Axe To Fall is a half cylinder robot with 4 Vulcanised wheels powered by 2 x LEM130€™s at 48V, giving 18hp! And to compensate this is a 5kg double-headed axe on top of the machine, it€™s a steel 80 cm shaft with two diamond edged blades made of Hardox on the end of it. The blades are pointed to maximise piercing on the other robots. The axe is powered by 2 x Nitrogen bottles at 1000psi, a 1 kg buffer bottle and a 30 mm bore ram, for fast and furious hits, with a down force of almost 2 tonnes! The armour is 8mm Titanium on the front with the rest of the robot made of 15mm Polycarbonate! The speeds are 15mph, and the front and rear wedges are very good at pushing, but it can only axe things from the front/rear!

It€™s a feeding FrenZy, and the robot is pretty nasty as well! The design of the whole machine is cylindrical with an axe swinging over the top of it, powered by electric motors. That€™s OK, but the problem is the fact that it leaps with every hit!

The two axe robots turn towards each other, and the power of Axe To Fall proves greater, and it slams into FrenZy, before the axe comes crashing down with a speed and power! The axe goes through FrenZy€™s top, but is quick to retract! Die-Ceratops waits, and now charges forward, Chris with a look of extreme concentration, and he expertly powers under the body of Frenzy, and flips! A launch to 5ft into the air occurs and FrenZy crashes down, and something breaks off the top - it€™s the top armour of FrenZy! Axe To Fall powers in again, and now slams the axe into FrenZy€™s axe! The force of the vapours axe is strong enough, and the realie backs away from peril as Die-Ceratops comes in again and flips FrenZy up! It lands against the wall, and without stopping, Chris charges and flips! FrenZy crashes OOTA!
Result:
FrenZy fights like a laDy!
DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS (23) AND AXE TO FALL GO THROUGH TO ROUND TWO!!!
ROUND TWO:
Wedge Devolution (7) vs. Axe To Fall
Die-Ceratops ReInvertus (23) vs. SOR Hex
Send in tactics, comments, predictions and a new prime minister :proud:
A bit short, but otherwise fine, Paul. :)
Wedge Devolution (7) vs. Axe To Fall
I do believe we have re-matches to go through, both of these in C&B2. Wedge Devo flipped Axe to Fall OOTA very quickly, but since this is NOT my tournament...:lame:...I still think I will go for Wedge Devo though. Axe to Falls axe, I think, wont help it here and its got high ground clearance around the sides which Steve can exploit. One OOTA please!
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus (23) vs. Son of Ripper Hex
Haha, heres the other one. :proud: Die-Ceratops is a lengthy son-of-a-removed, which means SoR can attack his sides very easily. Id say SoR to pull through on a JD, as I dont think Die-Ceratops will be able to get him on the flipper.
Well, we have a choice of prime ministers here for you to choose from, in all shapes, sizes and colours, and we can even get one made-to-measure just for you, Sir. :proud:
And I dont think theres anything wrong with short fights if its likely to end short, via an OOTA or quick pitting or something like that...
PREDICTIONS:
What Kody said, cant really improve on that :proud:
Well, I apologise for the second fight - THAT one could have been longer.
No tactics? Well, Im going to post the fight anyway - Im NOT doing a hypothetical! So...HERE WE GO!
ROUND TWO:

Steven drives out with his super flipper and Martijn drives out with his super axe! The drive out quickly and smash together! Axe To Fall seems to have his frontal hinged wedge wrestling with the front flipper of Wedge in a battle to find out who€™s lower to the ground. Axe To Fall seems to be winning that battle, as Wedge is powered back right across the arena! BANG! The wedge shaped robot bashes into the arena wall, and the blow of axes begins! S the axe hammers down, slight holes appear in the Hardox body of Wedge, now they€™re growing into dents! Steven powers forward to escape, but he€™s once again caught by the almighty Axe To Fall, who€™s now pushing and hammering again! Wedge is now pushing away from this and now spins around and reverses away from the hammering hailstorm! It now charges head-on as Axe To Fall fires another blow, but it jumps off the ground, and Steven takes his chance! He speeds under Axe To Fall! FLIP! Axe To Fall spirals in the air, before landing upside-down and self-righting before Wedge could get another attack in! Martijn seems to be unfazed by that assault, and pushes forward once more but Wedge now spins to the side and pushes underneath Axe To Fall, and now flips it again! Axe To Fall is trying to self-right, and does so JUST AS WEDGE STARTS PUSHING IT TO THE SIDEWALL! Axe To Fall is now upside-down again, and another axe-blow is launched, and IT NOW ENDS UP ON THE ARENA WALL! Axe To Fall is caught on the wall and Wedge has come in! He slides the flipping blade under! And€¦WHOOSH! A burst of the CO2 powered rams in Wedge Devolution and Axe To Fall flies through the air and lands in a heap, allowing the battered wedge to make the Heat Final!
Result:
Axe To Fall has fallen!

The bar of SOR spins as he drives in and Die-Ceratops drives out! Both drivers seems perplexed - fixed with unrivalled concentration as they try to outwit each other€¦SOR makes the first charge at Die-Ceratops, trying to use the bar on its sides, but Chris dodges AND SOR ENDS UP EXPOSED TO DIE-CERATOPS! Chris now puts his power down onto his 4 wheels powered by the MagMotors, AND BRAKES THE SKIRTS! He doesn€™t hesitate as the flipper shoots up and SOR Hex flies over the wall, spinning in a 540 flip to crash down in a heap after a 5 second battle!! Die-Ceratops ReInvertus now reverses into the arena to spin in victory.
Result:
SOR Hex proves to be an embarrassing relation!
DIE-CERATOPS REINVERTUS (23) GOES THROUGH TO THE HEAT FINAL!!!
HEAT FINAL:
Wedge Devolution (7) vs. Die-Ceratops ReInvertus (23)
Send me tactics, comments, predictions and a machine to turn these battles into reality :proud:
By the way, I need to explain that the reason why the second battle was so short is becuase it was MEANT to be short, as the battle only lasted 5 seconds. Just to let you know.
I was on the edge of my seat for that one! :proud:
Two aweful ways to go out so far, maybe my fortunes will change later on...
Possibly - the next heat is Psycloniseds :proud: By the way, I think to planned to enter another version of the Code 14 series (Yes - Ive read VFT 5:proud:) called Psycloniser. If you wish to make the stats for it, do so if you wish. But it MUST be done before the Heat Final.
