continuing...
All right, said NSBFR-X. We will take this so-called tunnel of yours.
A wise decision, said Taki. And if I do not lead you well, you may do with me as you wish. I have no regrets.
So be it, said Clawdius. Now lead us.
Taki raced over to a patch of barren ground and slipped the edge of her wedge under a crack. The wedge lifted, suddenly revealing that the crack was not one, but a slot in which to open a trapdoor leading into a sloped passage.
Kind of...dark, Tsunami remarked.
Torchlight awaits below, so do not fear it, replied the ninja, and went in first. Follow swiftly!
----
The passage seemed to be just that. There was absolutely nothing here but a long, winding, dimly-lit path that angled down, and then up suddenly. It became much harder to drive up this way, and just they thought they couldnt push themselves any further -
Thud.
Taki had bumped quietly into a ceiling. She stopped.
Shh. She listened...but nothing. The others looked suspicious still. Very slowly, Taki opened the slot up and peered out.
They were in a vast marble hallway, filled with candlelight and studded with pure golden decor. Candlebras, mighty pillars, even the steps to the throne beside them were all of gold. The said throne held another robot, a mighty one at that. Before him were several soldiers wielding more katanas, these in especial looking more potent and deadly than the previous soldiers.
But they had been seen.
A shout went up and the soldiers turned to face the heroes, as PMPY was just emerging. All 15 of them had their weapons ready, as the king slowly left the throne, and turned to watch his minions turn the opposition into mincemeat.
We ready for a fight? said Die-Ceratops.
Damn straight, said Flick.

k, above post was a joke of course :proud:
were fighting 15 150 kg bots, serious business, our biggest advantage lies in 2 things, the first being the ineffectiveness of their weapons (a katana, come on!:proud:). the second being this quote:

DIE-CERATOPS TACTICS
If we flip these guys over, theyre in trouble. Theyve got two choices as far as Im concerned...run inverted and have no weaponary, or self-right and get damaged whilst doing so. So, basically, Ill just throw them over.
Basically, the same tactics as Martijn. Tsunami can also assist with this. He may have low health, but its not that dangerous a position as of yet.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
the first being the ineffectiveness of their weapons (a katana, come on! :proud:)
Read it properly. Only the arm is shaped like a katana. There IS an actual axe head. :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
They are pretty slow, so out manouver and kill them.
Surely if the axe arm has the downwards curve Im imagining thats just going to get in the way and prevent their axes doing anything because Well get hit with the shaft before the head?
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Ill fight with the spinning bar, just drive in and out and cause mayhem and confusion while the bigger hitters do the real damage.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
continuing...
It began.
Weapon met weapon, and metal met metal. Tengu, NSBFR-X, and Clawdius wreaked havoc in the front lines, while Flick, Die-Ceratops, and Tsunami tossed them over, watching them self-right into their allies spinners. Taki joined in and smote several of them. PMPY charged in like a bull in a china shop and gored a few on his spike. It was a bitter contest, and there would be no survival for one side.
That side, however, was the samuraibots, and they were completely destroyed by Tengu, NSBFR-X, Clawdius, PMPY, and Taki. Soon not one of the samuraibots could even move, and they had been gashed beyond recognition, internals leaking everything.
Very good.
The voice made them jolt. It was the emperor, and he had finally come to face them himself. He towered over the heroes like a vast, threatening cloud.
So youre the emperor, are you? said Clawdius coldly.
Indeed, was the similarly cold reply. You intrude upon my hospitality, ah! to bring to me whom I have sought for so long...Fu-ma no Taki...
There was an awkward silence.
You will return to me...NOW.
Suddenly, an object appeared just above the emperor, beginning to rotate, and Tengu recognized it.
A titanium gear, right there! he cried.
But before Tengu could continue, the gear had spun so fast that it was a blur, and it just as suddenly emitted a tyrannical frequency. It did not seem to effect the heroes, or Tsunami. Taki, however, started to scream.
What are you doing to her?! snarled Flick.
Putting forth my authority! came the reply, harsh and icy. I am ruler of this land, and no one will gainsay my word! She broke my laws, and must be punished...and now so will YOU!
The emperor came forward at last, ready to smite the intruders personally.

Your first Chapter Boss fight! You can use items here if you feel you are getting low on health.
Objective: Defeat Emperor Geki and obtain the first Titanium Gear. Dont let Taki die!
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
An invertible Emperor means his wheels are exposed for a munching. If the spinners or rammers can stop his shell before it gets up to speed, I can step in and mangle his wheels with my claw.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
My spinner ring should protect me, but Id rather thae rammers go in first anyway. The armour is pretty damn sturdy, however, we should be able to impact it enough to kill it.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Question. Takis health is decreasing, but is it still possible to heal her (basically, could we still give her a tool kit, thus giving us more time to defeat Geki)?
If the answer is yes, then Tsunami and I will keep guard of her whilst everyone else attacks, and when her health reaches 30%, give her a booster.
If the answer is no, then Tsunami and I will still keep guard of her whilst everyone else attacks. However, when her health gets really low, and if Geki is still looking strong, I think I may need to give somebody that power boost.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Ill use my hardox scoop to deflect that ring spinner. I really think Tengu should go in first as hes bound to come off better, which will stall the spinner and make my job of keeping it stalled much easier.
Once the spinners stalled, we should pin him in place so Steve can munch his wheels up.
Meanwhile, while me, Alex, Steve and whoever else is fighting Geki, someone should go and steal that gear. Its got to be the source of his power.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
In your tactics Frank, Tengu is merely the opening move. Id say Flick, NSBFR and PMPY hold Geki in place for Clawdius to destroy the tires as much as he can.
Die-Ceratops, Tsunami, Taki and Tengu will be available for stealing said gear in such scenario. I suggest 1 machines stays with the badly damaged Taki to heal it when needed and the other 2 go out and grab that disc.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
By those tactics Martijn, I dont think that robot to guard Taki should be Tsunami, as hes got the lowest health of the rest of us. Im still opting for guarding Taki.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Brave job Chris :proud:
Tengu and Tsunami to have a shot at stealing the gear together, anyone against that?
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
(yes, you can heal Taki, Chris, but if you try that, her health will decrease even faster, so its kinda moot unless you use it before shes about to die :P)
continuing...
Bring it on! said Flick, and straight away he, PMPY, and NSBFR-X moved in for an attack on the emperor, as the emperor spun up to dangerous speeds. Clawdius hung back a little.
You sure about this, mate? he asked Die-Ceratops.
Listen, do I need to explain myself? GO! Die-Ceratops snarled.
Clawdius was silent...for a split-second. Then...
Happy guarding, he said, and rushed off, just behind Tsunami and Tengu. Die-Ceratops turned to Taki, who was still screaming. She appeared to be unable to move, and was clearly in unendurable agony.
Damnit, fight it, will you? panicked Die-Ceratops. Theres no way he can hold sway over you, jeez!
Those helpful remarks seemed to do nothing, as Taki continued to scream. Die-Ceratops sighed shakily and turned to watch the fight brewing.
It was ugly at first. Flick had been smashed away instantly, one of the forks bent. It gave time for PMPY to move to try and push Geki, but Geki started to push him back. In fact, he shoved PMPY all the across the hall, with NSBFR-X back at him and a recovered Flick of the Wrist in hot pursuit. Clawdius stopped, and turned to Tengu and Tsunami.
Tsunami, will you be okay?
Yes, yes, go get that blasphemer! Tsunami replied hastily.
Im counting on YOU to make certain that Tsunami is okay, got it? growled Clawdius at Tengu.
Sheesh, do you even need to tell me? Tengu grunted. Now make like a claw and grab that son of a -
WHAM.
Apparently NSBFR-Xs scoop, nor Flicks spikes, were able to stop Geki from shoving them backwards, and right into Clawdius to boot. Clawdius, Tsunami, and Tengu cried out in surprise and backed off as 500kg of tyrannical machinery flooded by. And he was headed for someone.
TAKI! RETURN TO ME, NOW!
Youll have to go through me first! snarled Die-Ceratops, coming forward as Flick came in pursuit.
But there was no need. What NSBFR-X and Flick had failed to do, Die-Ceratops had accomplished. Geki roared in frustration, as he was now wedged on top of Die-Ceratops flipper and could not move.
LET HIM HAVE IT! yelled PMPY.
Flick charged, NSBFR-X jolted, PMPY flew, and Clawdius bit. Still they were unable to damage the Hardox ring, and Clawdius just could not find a way to get to the tires.
Up above, Tengu and Tsunami had made their way up to a pedestal, where the Titanium Gear was floating, just offset the throne.
Grr...its too high, growled Tengu. Cant get to it...
I have an idea... said Tsunami. Ill toss you into it. Okay?
...normally Id be TOTALLY against that, remarked Tengu. But in this situation, dire situations call for dire measures. Beam me up, Tsunami!
Tengu lifted the 360 skirt, as Tsunami rode under...
FLIP!
Tengu soared, and...
YES!
Tengu had snared it with one of his blades, landing upside-down, but up popped the bar and Tengu rolled onto his wheels. Instantly, just when she thought she could take it no more, Takis screams ceased. And sure enough...
Wh - NO! How...how...
It was the emperor, and he appeared to be shrinking. Before long he appeared to have just lost half-weight, half-power, and pretty much half-everything else, including dignity. The heroes closed in around him.
NOW let him have it, PMPY jeered.
CRASH!
WHAM!
BANG!
SMASH!
The resulting vibrations of the blows upon the weakened shell of Geki were far too terrifying for mortal robots chassis to bear. And the result of such a team-up was a broken 250kg full-body spinner, spinning no longer, the shell broken and ripped off in most parts, the wheels no longer turning, and now Tengu moved in for a final devastating blow.
You...how could it be...how could you have defeated me...impossible... Geki trembled. I...I am king of this land...you...you cannot...
CRASH!
His pleas were silenced by Tengus spinning blades, which broke apart the shell completely. Strangely enough, the ring turned to dust and was swept away, to all the heroes surprise...except...
You snivelling creature.
Taki had come forth. She felt no pity towards the mess that lay before her. It seemed to actually look at her, with pleading eyes, but she turned around, and his doom was fulfilled.
CRASH!
The spinning blade tore out the very soul of Geki, and it shrieked in pain before exploding into a thousand wisps of smoke and swallowing itself into the still air. The strewn mechanics seemed to melt on the spot, and also, after a minute, faded into the air as well. There was a very long silence after this.
Then...
Well...that was fun.
Chris, I couldnt agree more.
Glad you feel that way, Matty.
Same here.
Get a room, you two, NSBFR-X snapped.
Shut up... muttered Die-Ceratops, and everybody (except Taki) began to burst into laughter.
Well, we got it! laughed Tengu, holding the gleaming Gear by the tip of his blade.
Awesome, said Flick. But...what do we do now?
You come back with me, thats what, laughed a voice.
Huh?
All of a sudden, another robot had appeared before them. It was very low to the ground, blue, with tracks, and red claws. Around were several skirt strips. Every time it spoke, it moved its red pincers in perfect synchronization with the words it spoke, like Clawdius.
How nice to see you guys again, smirked the newcomer.
...Kody? Die-Ceratops ventured a guess.
Indeed. Ive taken control of my robot Super Gore Evo for now so I could speak with you, came the reply. I see you managed to get back a Titanium Gear. Well done! Geki, I see, has been sent to his rightful place: in hell.
Well duh, did you ever doubt us for a second? PMPY scoffed.
Not really, replied Super Gore aka Kody. But strafing away from the task does have its cons. Come, lets go back.
Uh...dont mean to sound ignorant, but how? asked Tengu.
Simple, said Super Gore. You just go back to where you first came into Ohmi. I can open up the gateway back to the atrium from there.
What about me? asked Taki. I am ever grateful for all your help and wish to assist you in return, for as long as I can.
Hmm...Ill think about that, but for now, its definitely not a no, assured Super Gore.
She kicked that blokes arse in the end, approved NSBFR-X. Id say shes a welcome addition. She looks to be in pain, though.
Im...fine, said Taki, though failing to mask her injuries.
No worries, Super Gore gave to Taki a spare Tool Kit and healed her instantly. Im sure you all must be weary as well. Lets get back. Tsunami is welcome too, as are any members that you wish to join your party.
Excellent, said Flick. Now lets go back.
Indeed! said Clawdius, and the group left the city, which gradually became a ghost town...
----
Moments later, they had found the place where they had started their first journey.
Alright, now what? asked NSBFR-X.
A huge static screen appeared suddenly before them.
Thats what, smirked Super Gore. After you.
Inside NSBFR-X, Frank rolled his eyes, and NSBFR-X led the others into the gateway, Super Gore last. Super Gore turned and took a last look at the surroundings, then followed the others with a sigh.

1: I dont see why we shouldnt NOT keep Taki and Tsunami on our team, at least for the moment. They have proved their worth, and thats enough for me to give them a yes.
2: Gaul Pit.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
I dont really have any preference as to our destination, so its up to everyone else.
Incidentally, how does a robot laugh... the images Im gettign are very odd at best...

is Super Gore part of the team now?
I chose whatever is closest to Norway

I also agree on keeping Tsunami and Taki around.

The truth is, I need someone to mould me into a prime vapourboteer and tournament runner.
So, would you please help me?
By the way, this is getting very interesting.

Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Argh.
FIRST OF ALL, this is NOT the thread where you post this. Send me a PM or something like that.
SECOND, WHY would I help you if youre just going to be annoying and bump all these dead topics for no good reason? Think about that.
THIRD...no.
FOURTH...uh, thank you.

Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Okay, Ive decided upon something. Since other people were really interested in this, I have decided to let other people sign-up with a robot that will appear before the fourth chapter to join the existing party. Maximum of 6 can sign-up to participate.

Wrong! Paul Cuomo is the first in, with the ultimate machine in endurance and violence since the T-Rex down the road made a maddened mechanical version of himself :proud:
Welcome the newest Nitro-Gene, with all the atributes to help me assisst in any way possible...
NITRO-GENE 4.0
€ WEIGHT: 100kg
€ ARMOUR: 5mm Hardox monocoque for the body. 6mm Hardox flipper. Inside the body, there€™s 1cm of Vulkanised rubber on the sides and rear, with 2cm on the front to help fight powerful spinners
€ SHAPE: Low invertible box with pointed sides and rear. At the front is a 42* wedge to aid in getting underneath other robots and deflecting hits from strong spinners. All the lines have been curved over to make it harder for a spinner to grab onto a panel and rip.
€ MOTORS: 4 x LEM 130€™s at 36V = 36HP
€ LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels.
€ DIMENSIONS: (L) 90CM (H) 17CM (W) 70CM
€ COLOUR: Blue all over with the flipper coloured red with the name imblazed on the flipper (running down the robot) in gold writing with a thick silver outline. All the edges of the robot are coloured gold.
€ WEAPONRY: A full pressure Nitrogen powered flipper at 1000psi, using a single 80mm ram at 1000psi. The flipper is mounted in the middle of the robot, and is 20cm wide and runs 50cm up the body. Using a 3cm long Titanium strip underneath the flipper, and a heavy flipping arm, the flipper runs completely along the ground. Running on a ratio 2.2:1, the flipper produces 1600kg of force at the tips, allowing me to launch anyone away! This version has 2 x 3kg Nitrogen bottles, giving me 25 flips! The flipper has enough power to self-right Nitro-Gene in a super stylish 540* somersault!
€ SPEED: 22mph
€ GROUND CLEARANCE: 0MM-2CM. At the front, it is completely 0mm. On the sides/rear, its 2cm. The orginal weakness of Nitro-Gene (its high ground clearance) has been seen to by the skirts on the sides/rear. They are 5mm Titanium skirts and are joined together like BioHazard - at the corners - to make in near impossible for anything to get under them. To avoid them breaking off, they are held in place by Hardox hinges.
€ STRENGTH: Pushing power and weaponry.
€ WEAKNESS: High speed may mean difficult driving
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
A reminder, Paul, that youre not going to be able to fit 5mm/6mm Hardox armour, 4 LEM130s, and a full pressure flipper into 100kgs. :proud:
But since this is a fantasy RPG, who am I to complain? :proud: Ill let it slide. :)
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Sorry for disappointing people expecting my usual punctuality, I fell asleep :proud: Ill enter Nidhogg, you know where ze statistiks are.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
In my defense, Kody - Nitro-Gene 4.0 has been that way for ages, as the only new features were the shock-proofing (Damn you Whirligig 4.5 ), and making the flipper 20cm longer than before, as the problem with the 30cm flipper was that it had too much momentum, and the robots were just going high and not too far. Now, itll flip 100kg 8ft into the air on a good day, 6ft into the air on a bad day, and it can also throw a 100kg machine 8-5ft along.
And you can let it slide, but you can also let it move on its wheels
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
In my defense, Paul - thats only one robot, so I will check it immediately. In normal tournaments where people have multiple robots, I only REALLY check the stats when its time for those specific robots to fight. :proud:
I should stop doing that though. :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Do we still need to give our machines specialities?
And I might upgrade Nidhogg a bit shortly - if everyone else is ready by then, use the old version, but its not like the newer one will be massively different anyway. :P
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Ah yes, you both need to give your speciality that your robots have, please.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Nidhoggs specialty is maneuvrability and weapons synergy...btw, the claw is more often than not used to clamp opponents rather than crush them, to carry them around in places.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
My robot has brute strength on its side, as it can throw a robot of its own weight several feet into the air :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
All right, thanks a lot guys. :) That leaves four more to go...
continuing...
The heroes were back in the static room, and in their human forms, minus Taki and Tsunami.
So, my friends... said Kody. Have you decided to -
Yes, yes, we will keep Taki and Tsunami on our team, Alex cut him off.
The reason?
Everybody looked at him strangely.
Excuse me?! growled Taki.
I just want to know why, thats all.
Uh, one: because they kicked butt. Two, they are awesome additions to our group. Three, they want to come anyway so let them! said Chris.
Right then, no need to be rude, said Kody. And have you decided upon a destination yet?
Indeed we have, declared Steven. The Gaul Pit, milad.
But of course, said Kody. The Gaul Pit it is. However, I must warn you that the robots who reside in Gaul are not easily swayed. You may have to convince them to give you the gear, understood?
Yes, said Matthew.
One question, said Martijn. Why cant you come yourself?
I must stay here and defend my court, replied Kody.
You came to gather us a few days ago, said Frank.
Twas but a brief moment, said Kody simply. I assure you it will take you much longer than that to obtain the next titanium gear you seek. Off with you, now!
Six drags of the neck and a roll through the static screen later...
Stage 2: The Gaul Pit
The 8 robots had landed in on a dirt-beaten road. Trees grew in droves, in front and behind. To their left was a log cabin which sort of looked like a tavern. To their right was a long grass field, complete with dandelions.
Unusual, this forestry, since we all seem to be robots, said Tengu.
That inn looks suspicious... enquired Die-Ceratops. Shall we have a look?
Just then, the door of the inn opens, and a grubby-looking robot is forcibly ejected from the premises by what appears to be the owner.
By Toutatis! Ay vil not hav turncoats shlunking around vor a vree meel! Out vith you!
The owner turns to stare at the newcomers, who freeze on the spot.
ENCOUNTER!
Inn Owner
Shape: Killerhurtz with a flatter top.
Weight: 200kg
Speed: 20mph
Armour: 16mm titanium
Weaponry: High pressure rear-hinged flipper.
Srimech: Flipper.
Attack, or try to talk?
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
At the very least, he may be more willing than the ninja. I say we try to talk to him, but if he turns nasty, we attack him.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Try to talk, but keep the claw poised just in case.
