Very impressive, however I read recently that you can actually melt amber and stick stuff in it, and people frequently do - the higher quality stuff id the original thigns. Its not uncommon to find houseflies in amber.

On a slightly different tangent of randomness, theres a pic on my profile of an article from our newspaper of a nice project to do in your spare time. I believe Ian Watts has built one of these (correct me if Im wrong) and this version is smaller and less accurate but its cheaper - I think - and ideal to stick on top of a featherweight and terrorise the neighbours. :)
