Dinowarrior Destruction
OK, first of all, Im awfully sorry about the stupidly short fight, but I going for a holiday in Norfolk today, and I wont have access to the internet for a week. Thank you.
So, its final time. Already. Ripper Roo and Hurricane are ready. Are you?
RIPPER ROO VS HURRICANE
ROBOTEERS STAND BY!
House Robots here are Jakamoko 2 and Die-ro, again
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
Rammer vs Spinner. Classic Robot Wars encounter, classic Dinowarrior Destruction encounter. Ripper Roo runs away from the charging Hurricane, now it is spinning up to full speed. It moves in...HITS! Gash made, only a small one, not much on Hurricane...oooh, but its slowly moving and it grinds to a halt! Has that first blow from Ripper Roos devesating spinning body conked Hurricane out? And this is a shock. I thought this would be a tacticians battle, but no. In comes Crash Bandi-bot, as Ripper Roo opens the pit. Crash counts Hurricane out. How disapointing for the team. Had a wonderful fight against Crusha, but what an anticlimax, beaten by Ripper Roos first attack. Disgusted, as Jakamoko 2 pushes it slowly towards the flipper before Ripper Roo can get anywhere. Its gonna be heat final FFF (Floor Flipper Factor), HURRICANE GOES FLYING! Great competitors, but Ripper Roo finally pits them. What a shame.
CEASE!
RIPPER ROO IS THE WINNER, THROUGH TO THE FINAL
Finalists so far
1:Wedge Devolution
2:Ripper Roo
See ya in a week.

My tactics for the remaining heats are (if in right order but then again, chaos may reign):
Heat 3
El Persistance vs Tengu 6 vs Montys Pass (me)
If possible, Ill team up with Tengu 6, if we do team up, Ill just get rid of El Persistance by chucking it out of the arena
Heat 4
Hypertension MK2 vs Indisctructable (me) vs Eagle
Ill team up with Eagle to beat Hypertension MK2.
Heat 7
Slammer 4 vs Jamster vs Impact Weapon (me)
Ill help Jamster by helping him defeat Slammer 4 by putting it against the arena wall & out.
Heat 8
Phoenix from the Flame 2 vs Deep Impact vs TB87 (me)
Ill get the blade up to top speed & batter whoever gives me the most problems.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Im really sorry for the absence yesterday.
Yesterday, I decided that, if I passed my exam, I would write a battle or two here, AND in SSC. I did. HOORAY! So I thought that I could write.
However, the moment was shattered at about 1.30. My Grandad had been taken to hospital for a reason I never found out that morning. Later, my Dad phoned, saying that he was all right.
At the time given though, he passed away. He was 75 years old.
It was a sad time for all concerned, so I couldnt write anything. I am back now, and keeping my Grandma company.
I should be back writing soon.
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
Im really sorry Chris, you take your time and take my, and give to your Grandma, my condolences as well as to all concerned
My sympathies,
Matty

Dinowarrior Destruction
This will be the heat I am doing now.
Hole in the Armour vs Chalkie vs Barbaric Response
Hypertension MK2 vs Indisctructable vs Eagle
Here is...
BATTLE 1
First robot in this new heat is HOLE IN THE ARMOUR 2, an old robot, but certainly a nasty customer. This robot is made out of a Lorry wheel hub, a bit like Sir Chromalot, or Corkscrew 1. However, this robots choice of weapon is a nasty, venomous Fluffy style blade at the bottom of the robot. The robot is destructive, but its wheels are exposed
Next bot to die...err...I mean fight, is CHALKIE. Why Chalkie, I dont know, its not my robot. However, I do know this robot is invertable, had armour a lot like Dominator 2, and has a nasty set of lifting forks, specially designed so they can still work upside down. This robot has 8 wheel drive, Diamonds are its weakness, but I dont see how that works Im afraid.
Finally is the second real robot in this tournament, going by the name BARBARIC RESPONSE. This robot is a relative newcomer to the scene, but shouldnt be underestimated. The whole body is covered by a large flipper, quite able to flip most things over. It came second in the third Tag Team tournament with Hydra, losing to Bulldog Breed and Robochicken. Weakness? Id say it does not like crushers.
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY!
House Robots are in the ring: They are Cholera and Leprosy Infection.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
And off they go! Id say that Chalkie would be the favourite for this battle. Who is he going to go for? Barbaric Response, maybe? Err...no, hes going straight for Hole in the Armour 2, who is spinning up. The body shell hits Chalkie...but its no use! For some stupid reason, the spinner isnt powerful enough to get through the very, VERY thick armour of Chalkie. No hole in the armour here. Barbaric Response comes in and flips the slowed down Hole in the Armour. Now however, Chalkie uses that invertable forklift to lift up the spinner, and Barbaric Response opens the pit. Its going to be over very quickly...and DOWN goes Hole in the Armour. Its old design just not good enough.
CEASE!!!
CHALKIE AND BARBARIC RESPONSE GO THROUGH.
Sorry if this was a little short, but after my Grandad and college, I havnt had much time. Better late than never though.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Soz for update lack, but with all the problems with College and everything, not to mention my Grandmother phoning up asking where my Grandads gone, and asking about some strange, non existant woman (She had a stroke a long time ago that affects her short-term memory). Ill try to do a PROPER battle on Friday, but at the moment I cant guarantee ANYTHING.

Dinowarrior Destruction
BATTLE 2
The first bot for this melee is the interestinly designed HYPERTENSION MK2. True, the simple box shape isnt THAT interesting, neither are the hindged skirts and hardox armour. But this robots main feature is its flipper. Not only is it powerful, but it is also invertably designed, so it doesnt have to waste time re-righting. Fast as well, I fear for the exposed wheels.
Soaring in next is EAGLE, ready to pounce on anything in its way. This wedge shape isnt really that well protected, neither is the ground clearance that good. In fact, its the slowest in this battle. However, dont count it out until youve seen its weapon...the huge Gravity style flipper. I drear to think what this can flipp. So, whatever you do, DO take care, even if it is slow.
And finally, the true star of Dinowarrior Destruction, and possibly the favourite, INDISCTRUCTABLE! This robot has no weapons, but with a body shape like world champion Storm 2, hard titanium armour all over, 18 horsepower, and the ability to run upside down, who CARES! This robot is the fastest in this heat, reaching speeds of 23mph. Try beating THIS one at your own risk!
ROBOTEERS STAND BY
The house robots are Cholera and Irritator. I cant help but think they may be a tad bit nervous.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
And off they go! More carnage please. OK says Eagle trying to stay out of the way of Indisctructable. Something that is impossible in its own sense. Indisctructable rams Eagle towards, and into, Hypertension MK2. The flipper of Hyper fires, but Eagle is only lifted upwards. Now, however, Indisctructable is under Hyper. Hyper shuts his flipper down, but that only makes things worse. I heard back stage that Eagle and Indisctructable were ganging up on poor old Hyper, and that is the case so far. Anyways, Indisctructable pushes Hyper into the corner...right where Irritator is. The jaw comes down, and Hyper mentioned earlier that it is vulnerable to crushers. STILL Hyper is on top of Inde. Wheres Eagle in all of this? Coming right in, slowly but surely, underneath the raised Hyper. Pause...FLIP! HYPERTENSION MK2 FLIES THROUGH THE AIR...AND LANDS OUTSIDE THE ARENA. WHAT A WAY TO GO. It seemed invincible, but ganging up takes its toll. Now the battle will end...OH, BUT EAGLES JUST FLIPPED IRRITATOR, THATS GREAT! Cholera will not be happy.
CEASE!!!
Well, Cease has been called. Cholera is now trying to re-right Irritator...OH, BUT INDISCTRUCTABLE HAS A GO AT CHOLERA, THATS EVEN BETTER! Cholera has been pinned into the arena wall. Thats not fair, theyre stranding him. Fluffitor, remember this! Theyre attacking your friend. Beware, DD house robots have looong memories.
CEASE!!!
Cease called again. That means Cease Indisctructable. I.E Stop. Desist. Finish. End! Crash Bandibot gives Indisctructable a yellow card, but I think hes lucky to get away with just that.
EAGLE AND INDISCTRUCTABLE GO THROUGH
Round 2
Barbaric Response vs Indisctructable
Chalkie vs Eagle
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
Eagle has a large ground clearance at front, Aim for the front, gets the forks under and lift and pit.
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
Forgot I was fighting, Ill keep away from the front flipper of Barbaric Response & push him into the house robots.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Update will be this weekend...Im NOT about to let this tourny go.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Welcome back to Dinowarrior Destruction. Now, whos up for a little Sumo? Cos I know Jakamoko 2 is!!!
The third competitor to fight in the sumo ring is EL PERSISTANCE. It certainly SEEMS persistant enough with its incredibly hard looking armour. It IS its own weapon, so it should push well. But beware, Jakamoko may push harder.
ROBOTEERS STAND BY
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
So off goes El Persistance. Straight into Jakamoko 2. Both bots have a virtually zero ground clearance at the front, so this is going to get interesting. They grind, they twist...OH, JAKAMOKO TWISTS TOO FAR! The deadlock breaks, and El Persistance flies into the ring wall. Thankfully, there are no gaps in it...there. But Jakamoko travels forwards, determined. El Persistance turns, but it is having trouble. Jakamoko gets underneath its skirts and rams it into the side! El Persistance escapes...just, and rams into the side of Jakamoko. It rams it towards a gap...OH, BUT JAKAMOKO GETS OUT OF THE WAY, AND SOME OF EL PERSISTANCES 6 WHEELS GO OVER THE EDGE. Jakamoko pauses...and then comes in and pushes. El Persistance goes out.
CEASE!
In a Time of 42.56 seconds.
See ya soon.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Here is the next line up.
Barbaric Response vs Indisctructable
Eagle vs Chalkie
BARBARIC RESPONSE vs INDISCTRUCTABLE
House Robots are Leprosy Infection and Jakamoko 2
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
And off they go. I dont like BRs chances against Indi. Indi RAMS straight into BR! STRAIGHT INTO THE ARENA WALL! OUCH!!! THAT HAS TO HURT! POOR BR IS GETTING BASHED HERE, AND ITS HARDLY SURPRISING! BR now gets SLAMMED into Leprosy Infection, who tears at it with his drum. Jakamoko 2 comes in also, and makes some nasty holes in the armour. Is Barbaric Response moving? Doesnt look like it. I think the ramming knocked it out on the first blow. Crash Bandi-bot comes over, and he is counting BR out. What a shame.
CEASE!
INDISCTRUCTABLE GOES THROUGH
EAGLE vs CHALKIE
House Robots are Jakamoko 2 and Cholera
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
Eagle makes for the first move. It needs to, Chalkie is dangerous prey. Chalkie rams into Eagle, and lifts it up. However, Eagle falls away, and gets under the raised prongs of Chalkie. Eagle pushes back for all its worth. Closer to the arena wall...closer...closer...FLIP! OH, AND CHALKIE FLIES OUT OF THE ARENA! WHAT A SHOCK!
CEASE
EAGLE GOES THROUGH.
Sorry for the poor quality fights: College is my no one priority at the moment.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Hoorah, tactics for the heat final are:
Eagle Vs Indisctructable (me)
Dodge that flipper at all costs, shunt Eagle into the CPZs & then down the pit or use the tried-&-tested Storm 2 method, ram them out of the arena. :proud:
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
If all goes well, I should have the next fight up by tomorrow.
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
OK, so todays Saturday, but at least its up.
INDISCTRUCTABLE vs EAGLE
House Bots are Jakamoko 2 and Dreadlocks Revenge
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
And off we go, with the heat final of the third heat of Dinowarrior Destruction! Indisctructable, surely the heat favourite, charges straight at Eagle, dodging the flipper because of the birds slow speed, and easily getting under that 9mm ground clearance. Indisctructable rams Eagle towards the wall...BAMM! Right into it! Eagle is shaken, but Indisctructable retreats. Is Eagle moving? Yes, only just. But thats probably a bad thing, as Indisctructable rams into Eagle AGAIN! This time, he takes him all the way to where Jakamoko 2 is waiting. Down comes the axe, diamond tipped, hitting the 2mm titanium, making a dent. Dreadlocks Revenge is also coming in, and he crushes into the armour of the Eagle. Then, using his forklifts, he picks up Eagle, shows him to the crowd, then drops it onto the arena floor. Eagle is barely moving, and no surprise. Indisctructable rams it again, this time going for the big one, the one that will possibly kick Eagle out of the arena. And BAMM! OH, AND EAGLE FLIES OUT OF THE ARENA, AND OUT OF THE COMPETITION!
CEASE

El Persistance vs Tengu 6 vs Montys Pass (me)
If possible, Ill team up with Tengu 6, if we do team up, Ill just get rid of El Persistance by chucking it out of the arena
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
As always I have no objection to teaming up with the first offer. Ill spin up and then slam into it, not precisely sure what ese i could do.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Heat 3 -
Chameleon vs ALVD vs Big Nipper
Steve, want to gang up on Big Nipper. I will ram into the sides hoping to flip it over.
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
Sure, Davey. Ill attack the scoop n claw combo and see if I cant pin it down for you and skewer the wheels a bit :proud:
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
El Persistance will aim for the sides and rear of MP,get underneath him, ram him into the arena walls, and try to ram him OOTA Steel Avenger style!
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
Ah, now I finally know which set-up Chameleon is using, I can write that heat. It wont be just yet though, I have to think it through first.

Dinowarrior Destruction
Ah, welcome back to Dinowarrior Destruction. I know its been a while, but college work is tough. I just hope the six robots fighting today are AS tough.
The first bot in the ring is one of the favourites for this heat, and, in my eyes, one of the favourites for the entire series. CHAMELEON is one nasty bot. I mean, it looks, body wise, like Biohazard, what with all its skirts and scoops. However, it can self-right. But its main worry is its weapons. It doesnt have one set-up, it has NINE! In this fight, it has a low scoop, backed with a Plunderbird style claw. It changes its weapons depending on set-up. It major weakness is definatly the fact that it may have problems in melees with totally different robots.
On a less confusing note, is ALVD, the second robot. What does it mean? To be honest, Im not sure. Im sure Dave will be able to spill the beans. But this robot will be spilling more than beans, with its concave-ish wedge, and HUGE, utterly destructive vertical disc, spinning at frightening speeds. It can pop wheelies when it is flipped. The front is exposed to attack though.
Finally is BIG NIPPER, another real robot. It reached the heat final of series 7, only to lose to The Grim Reaper. This is a low box on wheels, with tough armour, and 8 wheels (4 on top, 4 underneath). It has a nasty grabbing horizontal jaw device mounted on an arm that can lift, or right the robot (even though it can run inverted). Fierce, but I think it can get exposed to pushers, and the ground clearance is rather high-ish.
ROBOTEERS STAND BY.
Dreadlocks Revenge and Jakamoko 2 are our house robots for today.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
And off we go, for another brawl in the Dinowarrior Destruction ring. ALVD and Chameleon move towards Big Nipper, who uses a spin technique to dodge the forward movement of ALVDs nasty disc. However, it doesnt save it from Chameleon, who gets underneath the side, the scoop easily getting underneath. Down comes the claw. Im not sure whether or not it can do any damage to Big Nipper, so, for now, it does little more than scratch. But, even better, it has a good hold on Big Nipper. Now ALVD comes in, and hits the front of Big Nipper. BANG! The claws, as thin as they are, bend under the sheer force of ALVDs cutter. That is NASTY with a capital...oh yeah, Ive already done capital everything. Now I wonder if ALVD can damage Chameleon. Chameleon doesnt want to know and, still holding Big Nipper, takes it to the pit release. Big Nipper is squirming, but he cant get free. Now ALVD comes in...OW! HE KNOCKES CHAMELEON FLYING! AND BIG NIPPER TOO! But Chameleon is OK. He is against the arena wall, and Big Nipper has escaped. ALVD now takes several servere digs at Big Nipper, and breaks the tip of one of the claws off. Ouch! Chameleon uses its flap of plating on its back (the srimech) to knock itself off the wall, and it falls onto its back. Now, can it self-right...yes it can! And it moves towards a badly battered Big Nipper. It isnt moving, so Chameleon has another go. He digs in, and drags it towards the pit. Finally, he lets go, and Big Nipper drops.
CEASE
CHAMELEON AND ALVD GO THROUGH.
NEXT TIME, Well see the second round of Dinowarrior Destruction. Can El Persistance make a mark on his oppodents? Tengu 6 will slice and dice. Montys Pass will try to overtake them all. And well see if Windiest Killer can do the locomotion in the sumo.
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
I cant remember what ALVD stood for, if it standed for anything.
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
You will not BELIEVE what happened.
Well, one day, I was thinking that I had some spare time on my hands, maybe I could do some of this. Its been a while since Id updated.
Well, get this...the tower turned on, but the monitor didnt. It broke. So we had to get a new one.
Hopefully, I WILL update this. I really want to finish this, because I have another tournament idea. (Heres a hint: FUSION)
-
Dinowarrior Destruction
Welcome back. Ill try to have at least one fight every Friday, possibly another on a weekend day...but dont rush me.
The first bot in the ring for round 2 part B is EL PERSISTANCE. This bot is named because it can be VERY persistant. Looking a lot like Storm 2 before the Series 7 changes, it is described as a full body hammer, with 2 horsepower kicking into any robot it touches. It can run inverted, but the ground clearance is high when flipped.
Next in the ring is the one and only TENGU 6, one of the most destructive robots I think Ive ever seen. I should know, Ive been on the receiving end of this amazing and deadly spinning body, armed with a various set of blades designed for different oppodents. It is VERY difficult to flip, but has low traction.
Finally in the ring is MONTYS PASS. No, not the racehorse! Sort of a domed shape, Montys Pass has low ground clearance, tough armour, and a very nasty flipping arm, CO2 powered, and at high pressure. Its fast and agile, but, of course, like all pneumatic flippers, the supply of CO2 is limited.
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY...
Hey, Smudge and Fluffitor are in the house.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
Off we go. I was told that Tengu and Montys Pass were going to team up on El Persistance. Well, well see. Well also see if El Persistance can with-stand blows from Tengu, as he rushes right out...THEY COLLIDE!!! Any damage? Well, nothing visible. Of course, that has slowed Tengu down a bit, and also allows Montys Pass to come in, and he flips El Persistance up in the air. Very, VERY nice. And handy, since the abilities of El Persistance are now limited. But Tengu is now up to spinning speed again, and th-whacks El Persistance again. I wonder, there is little damage on the outside, but is everything holding up inside? Somehow, Im not so sure, I see little life in El Persistance...well, this is disappointing. El Persistance looked tough, but I dont think its gonna do it this time. In comes Montys Pass, ramming, driving...and Montys Pass flips El Persistance out of the arena. Well, thats the battle over. Montys Pass, hang on, youre getting too close to Tengu...OH, WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR? YOU REVERSED STRAIGHT INTO TENGU. Any damage now could be killer!
CEASE
Phew, glad thats stopped.
MONTYS PASS AND TENGU 6 GO THROUGH.
Before I relieve the next round line-up, how about a little Sumo...
The competitor today is WINDIEST KILLER. Can it hold up against Jakamoko 2? Possibly.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!
And off we go. Windiest Killer has 0mm ground clearance all over the robot thanks to its skirts, and Jakamoko may have problems. Anyway, Windiest Killer dodges for a few seconds, and comes in sideways...OH MY, ITS UNDERNEATH JAKAMOKO! THIS IS DANGEROUS!!!...And Jakamoko 2 has been pushed off through a gap. Wow!!!
CEASE
RESULTS
Windiest Killer pushed Jakamoko off in 13.21 seconds.
Next time...
Chameleon vs Tengu 6
ALVD vs Montys Pass.
And sorry for the long delay. Im desperate to get this done.

For this fight, equip the Anti-Obliteration Device and simply try to shove the PTT3 Finalist around the ring with my far superior traction before a trip to see Mr Pit.

I have the speed, I have the disc.
The main aim is to drive into the sides of Montys Pass to flip it around to break its co2 flipper or to make it run out of power.
