Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
You only need 1 realie, and seeing as 259 was less successful then Storm II, I'll leave you with 1 vapour spot left.

Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
wow storm 2 is seeded wooooot
but on a serious note
Smashy Smashy
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Simply, a box with 2 wedges at the front: one on the left, and one on the right. There is 20cm of width in between the 2 wedges for the meat tenderizer to come down, like Wedge of Doom
Colour: Black.
Dimensions:90cm x 70cm x 20cm
Drive: 4x 24v S28-400 Magmotors, powered by 6x NiCad Battlepacks.
Locomotion: 6 externally mounted solid rubber wheels with aluminum boron carbide hubs.
Armour: 5mm titanium, except the front wedge which is 8mm titanium,
Speed: 25mph
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, and 5mm at sides and back.
Turning Circle: 0m
Weapons: A powerful axe, with a 3kg meat tenderizer for an axehead. The tenderizer's blades are diamond tipped, and it can hit an opponent and do damage when the axe springs back to its rested position, like Terrorhurtz. The axe itself is powered by a 2.2kg 750psi Co2 tank feeding gas to a 90mm bore 400mm stroke ram which pushes the axe forward, giving near 600kgs of force.
Srimech: The axe self-rights the robot. If it gets stuck on its side, repeatedly firing the axe will cause it to land on its back or right way up.
Strengths: Powerful axe. Also very maneuverable.
Weaknesses: Exposed wheels and average armor.
Bio: Once a Team Corsair machine, Always a Team Corsair machine. Just because the big, bad machine using a 3kg tenderizer as an axe isn't Mark's doesn't mean it's any less lethal though...
Win/Loss Ratio: N/A

Come on people, 1 more spot to be filled!!!
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
Just let me come up with another few vapours and I'll take that last spot
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
Bumping this.
Jordan, I really need your stats so I can post the draw.
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
Sorry guys, just got my pc back and am still finding everything.
Currently my mouse is dead so I will find another/put in some fresh batteries then post stats. (It's a pain to do everything using the keyboard)
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
Personally I wouldn't want to enter this tournament no matter who it was written by, there are simply too many robots entered by too few people. Either robots from the same vapourboteer will frequently be drawn against each other, or unfair battles will be written to avoid that.
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
This one's supposed to essentially be a filler due to VRW4 being hypoed. Also, I don't think I could get enough people for a 48-bot tourney, so meh...
If you have some way I can get 8 people, then by all means tell me, and I'll add 4 more spots.
EDIT: Oh Liam, I mentioned earlier in this thread:

Instead of doing fights, I will instead find out the winner via using the percentages first used in Nick's Byte Size tournament. It's a more specific and seems like a simpler(good for you all, no more crappy fights) solution to all of the complaints.
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
I think you're missing the point Mark.
e.g.
4 people entering 1 robot = nice small tourney, guaranteed no dodgy draws
4 people entering 2 or 3 robots = still good, more chance of dodgy draws
4 people entering 6 robots = not even enough for people to have no more than 1 robot in each heat :lame:
EDIT: What difference does that make? :P
Re: Oh No!!! It's VRW 5!!!
I know, but:

And as far as I know, aside from possibly getting down on my knees and begging, there is no way I can convince 4 more people to enter 6 robots apiece.
