bit of an update
got the front plate welded on and the esc and receiver fixed into a plastic box and i also cleaned up the welds with a flapper disc
Neat idea with the box, been threatening to do that myself for a while.
i read on the forum that its a go idea to case up sabertooth controllers
I plan on taking a hot glue gun to mine. Been advised by Dave (540) that the components have been known to 'shake' free......
Great controllers though, just have to look after them.
hope fully if mine breaks i might be able to get my work to fix it as they have most of the basic components ..... and i'm intending to take the 2 i'm making at the mo into work so people can have a look and a play
Hey Pj, if you want a protective box for your electrics, I bought a good sized metal one for my lipos but its just a mite too small, you are welcome to it if you want it :).
Hey Dave, that would be awesome thanks! Give them a bit of protection in the wood. Plus I need metal under my Li-Po (it's only small) tis the rules apparently.....
finally got the removable link and fuse set up and i also found some useful connector blocks to split the power between the LED's motors and weapons.................im also looking at adding a GYRO, i got 1 cheep off ebay mainly just to see if it makes any real differance
awesome, looks bulletproof atm
