DTK to flip Storm out the arena
TAN to bore its claws into the bore :proud:
TAN doesnt sem able to do much damage to stronger armour, and its got grippers not claws. You suck :P
Knightrous, DTK cant flip Storm OOTA.
I think DTK to flip Storm onto its back early on and into the pit.
The Boro to have a good shot onto Tan and remove the aerial.
Plenty of predictions, but which ones were right?
Frank, I may have seen a slight gap between Storm 2s wedge and the floor, but it did get under Firestorms front at least once (there might have been a second time, but it was hard t judge).
Four successful robots in Round 2 - will The Crashing Bore be tough enough to shatter Tough As Nails?
3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
The Crashing Bore came straight towards Tough As Nails, who turned into it and clamped the claws together on the wedge and side, without a particularly good grip on its opponent! It began trying to drag The Crashing Bore towards the pit, but The Bore pulled back - this went on for a few moments, until TAN started pushing instead, taking The Crashing Bore round in a circle until the other robot pushed back against it and a back-and-forth contest resumed, where The Crashing Bore was gaining a slow advantage! Finally, TAN released and swerved into the 15th seeds side before the guillotine could come down on it! But The Crashing Bore suddenly reversed, and Tough As Nails was bashed by the blade a second later, hit in the claw and left tyre! The Crashing Bore began dragging TAN, trying to take the tyre off, and succeeding in ripping it! Once the guillotine was retracted, Tough As Nails scarpered, but its wounded wheel slowed it down and The Crashing Bore caught up, attacking with the blade but only hitting the claws again! It retracted, swung, and just glanced the left tyre!
Tough As Nails turned around into The Crashing Bores side again and gripped it - The Bore swung its guillotine but missed! However, it could drag TAN more efficiently now, so TAN released and aimed to ram The Crashing Bore in the side, but The Bore caught it and buried the blade in the right tyre! It pulled, ripping the tyre even more, and then shoved Tough As Nails across the arena into the disc, to cause even more damage to the wheel! The 15th seed then released, and TAN retreated, its right tyre flailing, and as The Crashing Bore rammed it again and struck the claws, it came off! The Bore gave TAN an ineffective prod with its drill, then turned and managed to hit the left tyre with the guillotine! It tugged on it, then released, and shoved the crippled TAN into the wall as the left tyres rubber also flailed! TCB just brought the guillotine into it again, and as it retracted, the rubber came away! Its wheels now barely touching the floor, Tough As Nails couldnt avoid The Crashing Bore carrying it into the pit corner and giving it a good hammering with the guillotine! A few hits struck the claws and did little, until another hit the left wheel, and bent and immobilised it! TCB reversed to survey its handiwork - TAN was now barely mobile! It aimed to hit the right wheel - and the guillotine went into the floor instead! Releasing, The Crashing Bore repositioned and managed to hit home, disabling the wheel and leaving Tough As Nails immobile, apart from some jerking of the claws!

Two realies fight next - Dantomkia and Storm 2!
3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Both robots rushed out of their squares and turned to attack the sides of the other! With a long swerve, Storm 2 managed to bring its wedge into Dantomkias side, and then run it towards the pit release - except it wasnt quite pointed in the right direction and they hit the wall! Dantomkia tried to get under Storm 2, but the World Champion intercepted it and rammed it in the side-rear - they still werent facing the right way, so it activated its arm and managed to lift Dantomkia so it could bring the wedge underneath, then turn around and run into the release without Dantomkia escaping! A very fast rush to the open pit sent Dantomkia almost flying into the abyss, and Storm 2 almost running in itself, in one of the quickest battles of VFT6!

STORM 2 GOES THROUGH TO THE HEAT FINAL!
Heat H Final:
The Crashing Bore (15) vs Storm 2
If Id lost I could have made the prediction that a real robot will win. But I won, so I cant. Darn you:wink:
Anyway, I can get under Storm 2 from anywhere, so Ill keep the front pointed at him at all times, and take him for rides into the arena disc. If I can get him on the wedge right I should be able to drill through his wheels which will be a nice bonus:)
I think that the old, worn out, dreary robot will win, as it has the more experiance.
Oh crap, Lets hope this isnt a repeat of the 72-1 match between the two teams.
Storm 2s Tactics:
Try and get a push from anywhere, except for the front, and get it down the pit as quickly as possible, but most importantly, try not to lose.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that result.
Chris, youre on thin ice here:proud:
Dont you mean Im on thin ice?
