Thanks Tony, those are great pics, not to mention the videos in which you see clearly the long-suffering look on the face of the adult one, and the other one in which one can all too clear discern what doggie wants you to do... with the can... look, it should be over there by now... well ?... go on... Im waiting...
So great !
Aaahh... it took a few days for the old geezer to accept the fact, but the Belgian government has finally and officially fallen with the king accepting its resignation.
Now to get the king to resign. And that silly crown prince we have to renounce any claim on that wobbly throne for himself and his offspring. The world would be such a better place then...
Well i just got back Germany to sample our Euro friends Theme Park Resorts and 6 of us to stay at the resort and have a good time in the bar at night also. German Cocktails are just wrong - but nice!. And something which sort of freaked me out a little bit was being at Birmingham airport in the shop buying a drink before boarding plane (£1.20 0.5L bottle vs 150ml £1.10 mini can on plane - no contest) and all of a suddon i saw Tom Kane walk past, i yelled Tom then next thing i know Andy Kane and family are there on way to somewhere nice and sunny for Xmas. Was random and weird at the same time.
Phantasiland is ace... and Toverland in Holland was also a good laugh. *Waits for Leo to comment* lol. (Leo, there getting a £10M B&M in 2 years time :)
Anyway - Merry Christmas to all.
Mr Stu
I am watching a programme on Virgin about a group of women. One is in love with the Eiffel Tower, another has married the Berlin Wall, another loves a small guillotine and another is in love with a small piece of bannister rail that she cradles in her lap.
Funniest entertainment show I have seen for years
Sign of the times: when you go to a Wok-restaurant and they serve halal food.
A cheap but good restaurant though, and when you ask for spicy you get it really really spicy.
Did you finish your meal with a nice glass of kosher-cola? :)
Coca-cola was apparently halal enough for them.
Well, its also the only non-pitta/durum restaurant in town that serves no alcohol at all ! Which is unique in Belgium.
Now thats what im talking about - Robots taking over...

We tacked together the shell for the new Weird Alice this morning. :proud: (Pic on profile) We are thinking of running this one at 36v with 4 wheel drive. :proud: Hopefully it should be up and running for the summer events.

Nice one Ian. :)
with the flipper on the wrong way round again ????? :)

Am I the only one who finds the whole concept of plush body parts a bit strange?... Apparantly they can be dangerous too!!
http://www.iheartguts.com/recall/http://www.iheartguts.com/recall/
That really is quite disturbing
I have something else thats random, its someones robot thats being random :P Its only an AW but the axe keeps doing a full travel and back again of its own accord on any voltage higher than 4.8v.
That random or what ? :P
Looking good Ian, but why the long time scale. Or is it just be that tries to build a new heavy from scratch in under a month!
:proud:Swanny, thanks mate.
:lol:John, the direction of the flipper is purely the in the perception of the onlooker. After all who wants to run away without some protection but having said that, yes, we are hoping this one will drive better forward.
:talker:Ed, we would have liked to have got it finnished quicker but (heres the serious bit) all three team members are on the committee for the Cancer Research UK Relay for Life Sheppey which is being held on the weekend of the 9th & 10th May and so we are at the moment finding it hard to find the time to build the robot. After May we will be able to put more time in, hence the aim to get it ready for the summer events. (Hmm... now this seems a good point to put in a quick request) So if anyone out there would like to help out in any way that weekend, be it as a volunteer or a participant please drop me a line. More info can be found here: http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/relay/http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/relay/
:new:Theres more robot pictures on our website: http://www.weirdalice.co.uk/http://www.weirdalice.co.uk/

Much nicer than children though :)
Thanks, Joey.

The hell? How short of a fight was that? How much was edited out of that match? I must know. :P
The first Beast looked spunky, though, I must say. :)
I think I posted that before somewhere :P...I made it just under a minute of actual fighting time, and according to LJ when I asked the rest of the fight was exactly the same so its easy to see why they cut it down a bit. :proud:
although in reality... the disc didnt stop on the first hit like they suggest with the editing !! :)
I told paul we needed stronger blades !!! LOL
How long was the actual fight despite all the cutting, though, 5 mins? Im assuming so, but clarification is welcomed. :)
