Maybe Alex, it turns out that Wedge was better controlled than Scorpion Bite, and was able to attack the rear of you BEFORE you could turn around and defend your self. Losing happens a lot.
I cant believe Im going to say this...

Axeon (13) VS WEDGE DEVOLUTION
Urgh. Not really sure what to do here. Aim for the corners to try and scrape underneath, attempt to fight the suction n flip it over, charge underneath before it can self-right and toss it to oblivion.
Axeon (13) vs. Wedge Devolution
Axeon (13) joined Wedge Devoultion heading to Round 2 after Axe to Fall fell out of the arena, and then hax0red Hellbrand to death.
Wedge Devolution, after going through with the seed, tossed another opponent OOTA after struggling to do so.
Roboteers, stand by...
Booth 1: Wedge Devolution
Booth 2: Axeon
Tira-san spins her blade up, rather bored, and Obelix Bulguous throws down his hammer, rather impatient. :proud:

Its Wedge Devo who gets off to the better start, heading right for Axeons upper right corner and slamming against it, only to find that the flipper, though getting under, is completely foiled by the suction system underneath! Axeon brings the axe down! WHACK! The flipper plate is dented badly! Wedge Devo backs off and tries a full-on assault this time. Axeon retracts the axe and brings it down again as Wedge Devo comes. WHACK! Wedge Devo smacks into Axeon, his right side taking the hit now, also dented! Wedge Devo pushes with all his might and very slowly pushes Axeon backwards. Axeon struggles to maintain its stance but it is slowly getting pushed backwards, so it decides to hail Wedge with axe blows! WHACK! Another dent in the flipper! WHACK! Nothing that time. Wedge Devo reaches the wall and shoves Axeon into it. Oof. The flipper slides under! FLIP! Axeon...is tossed into the wall and bounces right back at the open flipper of Wedge Devo! Wedge Devo cant close the flipper now, eyt its got Axeon right where he wants him! Axeon isnt hitting anything with the axe now, as he has been turned sideways, and Wedge backslams into the pit release button...FREEING AXEON! The axebot roars away happily, rejoicing in its freedom. Wedge Devo however is able to close the flipper again...yet it is not fully closed! Oh no! The flipper has been slightly bent, but enough to raise the plate a few centimetres and Im not sure if Wedge Devo will be able to exploit that same weakness again! Axeon wheels around to find Wedge Devo in his face! WHAM! The VFT6 champion crashes into the 13th seed but the flipper is no longer able to get under the ground clearance of Axeon, and instead slides up Axeons wedge! Axeon knows that it is now his battle to win, and not bothering to axe him starts to shove Wedge Devo backwards! He reaches the wall! WHAM! Wedge Devo is flung off the wall and bounces to Axeons side. He charges and smacks into it but is foiled again. Axeon turns and fires the axe. WHACK! I see some nice damage now, as a small gash is made in the beaten flipper! Wedge Devo rolls away as Axeon prepares another shove, and drives over the arena saws, which thankfully for him dont pop up. Axeon drives around the saws but Wedge Devo is already away and driving past the pit. Axeon wheels around to try and cut Wedge off but Steve backs up and without warning Axeon goes too far, and Wedge Devo almost fries his motors gunning towards Axeons side, and pushes him towards the pit!!! Axeon however backs away easily, now not impeded by the flipper, and Wedge Devo nearly puts himself in! Axeon charges at Wedge Devo yet again, and Wedge Devo spins and heads away to the middle of the arena again. Andy is getting rather tired of this sport, but continues to chase down Steves machine. Wedge Devo turns and again Axeon completely exposes his side! Wedge Devo hammers him AND GETS UNDER HIM!!! Axeon is rocked backward by the ram and tipped up a little, allowing that extra ground clearance for Wedge Devo to attack! And now hes again got Axeon right where he wants him! He pushes Axeon towards the wall again, but Axeons wheels remain on the ground and he tries to run away, successfully tilting Wedge Devos path to the wall right away. BZZT! Oh, Wedge Devo takes a hit from the arena saws, causing him to release Axeon! And Axeon is at Wedge Devos side now! He brings down the axe! WHACK! Another dent! However he is unable to get under Wedge Devos side skirts and Wedge Devo gets away. Axeon chases him towards an empty CPZ, and Wedge Devo turns too late. WHAM! Axeon slams against Wedge Devos right side skirt with brute force, but again unable to slide the wedge underneath. Wedge Devo tries to turn and gets at Axeons side, but Axeon shoves him into the CPZ and against the corner. Oof. Tira and Obelix immediately fly out of their CPZs in a hurry. Axeon flies fly an axe blow. WHACK! Another small gash, right where the last dent was! Tira reaches the CPZ first and hits Axeon across the side!
CRASH!!!
The 6mm Ti/V cowers under the mighty blow from Tiras blade, as a rip into the side shows. Wedge Devo is released from the wall, but the green and purple sparks have barely faded when Obelix shoots past Tira and hammers Wedge Devo in the front, causing Wedge to go flying Obelixs 80 slope and right onto his back! Axeon ignores Tira and tackles Wedge again, hammering the underside! WHACK! The underbelly is taking some dents now! Wedge Devo tries to self-right but the axe of Axeon gets in the way of that attempt! Obelix shoves Wedge Devo into Axeon and piles them both into the wall! Wedge Devo finds himself on top of Axeon and fires the flipper, not only pushing himself from Axeon but causing Wedge Devo to fly out of the CPZ and right back onto his...back! :proud: Axeon tackles Obelix back and shoves his way out of the CPZ as Wedge Devo fires the flipper, finally righting himself, but too late to avoid another slam from Axeon! The rear of Steves machine gets it this time as Axeon again throws an axe blow, not as pressuring as before. WHACK. The hardox withstands the blow this time.

Wedge Devo pushes Axeon backwards and eventually into the wall, as Axeon again fires a weaker blow. It barely tickles Wedge. :proud:

Wedge Devo turns and again has a go at Axeons side but it seems impossible with that bent-up flipper...

Axeon drives past Wedge Devo and out towards the floor flipper, as the battered wedge follows after him...

Predictions, tactics, thoughts, and some cashews please. :proud:
Haha, you know what, I already have all six tactics in from before, but Im willing to wait and see if those people will change their strategies before I write the next battles. :proud:
Actually, I am going to change my tactics. Im going to use my Lifter set-up so I can actually attack other robots.
Paul, that doesnt even make any sense. It said that, at the beginning of the match, he comes out and meets my wedge. This means that I had my back facing to him (since the spinner is in the front), literally disregarding my tactics.
I dont doubt that at any other part of the match he would be able to get around that front, but here the initial confrontation is such a complete and total lack of understanding that it boggles the mind. The end result doesnt bother me, but this really doesnt make any sense.
Sometimes, what you wish for isnt carried out. Take this for example - you might get what you wish for Christmas (only 3 more days ) but you might get something else.
And by the way, people can either take what you say seriously or not. I.E, AJ says that (Im not going to become popular when I say this :uhoh:) his suction things on the base of Axeon prevent anything getting under or leap about like Terrorhurtz.
Actually, I had a look on the Terrorhurtz site and I found out that Axeons suckers arent going to stop it being flipped or pushed about, it just means it wont leap as easily.
By the way, AJ, its nothing against you, its just that somwtimes things have to be proven or disproven. :proud:
try and get rid of MDU :)
Slam, slam, slam, slam, slam. Id rather go out in round 1 in bits than go out in the heat final in even more bits :)
