Where do you get the drive motors from for 360?

Hi craig,
The motors are Bosch 35w, there from a jaguar my brother had, If you look on eBay for jaguar car seat motor or assembly you'll find them. I think there used in some rover models also. They tend to go for around £15 each or £25 for the whole lower seat assembly.
The last time I ran 360 I ran it on 24v which shredded the gears by the end of the event, I'm going to look into getting some brass gears machined for them though. Was going to get a quote and order a bulk load and sell them if your interested?
Try eBay item number; 140436574824
Or search range rover seat motor, there's a few for sale for £10 buy it now with free postage :)
Many thanks Dave,
I have just bought a seat frame ref the number you advised, it has 3 motors 2 look like
they will do for the drive and the third looks useful for the head actuator.
Many thanks again
Craig :D

decided i can still squeeze in the bar spinner... this image shows were all the spinner gear will go, fits in with literally no room to spare. Thats not the motor ill be using in the image, its just to give an idea of how compact this robot will be... there will be another lipo sat in the back also (as per the first picture), drive to the bar will be from a single stage spur gear reduction at around 6:1 on a stub axle assembly that bolts to the lid of the robot... removable for when i want to run as just a pusher...not 100% sure how to do it yet, might use 8mm wide MOD2 spurs;

The spinning bars hopefully getting machined by Graeme lumb next weekend from 13mm titanium.
Should be able to test drive it soon, just need to cut down the motor drive shafts and wire it up.
looks well good :proud:
you might have already said some other place but whats the base material and thickness and same for drive axles??
nice work :)
Base is 5mm titanium, axles are 1/2 stepping down to 10mm for the bearings with a 4mm keyway.
looks awesome :) what brushless motor are you using?
