footnote: just curiousity... will there be any house robots there aformentioned or was that just a rumour?
There are plans to have House Robots, but not 100% confrimed. Good chance they wil show up, we will see. Mentorn being a bit iffy about lending house robots out to events lately. Yes mentorn do STILL have a small say about the house robots.
I think we will all be on Audrey Alert on Saturday then. The rules above stating no water guns on the pits, may have to bend that rule and have 3 supersoakers hidden until we spot Audrey, and fire at the crowd where shes standing.

The MLWF wanna get Mike wet. The MLDF wanna stop the MDWF getting Mike wet. It could turn out into a production by the Batley Townwomens Guild.
What will Mike be doing while all this is going on? Hell be in hiding eating all the BBQ food and drinking all the beer thats what hell be doing!

You WILL NOT bend that rule in any way, shape or form!
Robots, electronics, 240V mains supply + water do not mix!!...let alone the risk of slipping in a wet floor while carrying a 100Kg robot!!
If I see anything discharged in the pit / arena area the offender WILL be out of there in very short order! Roboteer or Audience, I dont care.
If its a roboteer (who should know better) They WILL be delt with very serverly by the event organiser and the FRA!
What you do outside is not my concern, and I will be perfectly happy to join in...But outside IS were it stays!
Sorry to have to be blunt. I dont want to spoil anyones fun, but this is a SERIOUS safety issue and as such, IS NOT open for debate!

A viable target for wet T-shirt thingies would someone (female ofcourse) who would be willing to get out of those wet clothes in my close presence an would fall for stupid lines like : If I told you you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me ?...
Maybe James would fall for that line but no woman would (unless she were p*****) :)

Thanks for the Clarification about Water Fights and Pits.
All - I dont believe any of you will be so foolish to bring them into the pits - but Geoff is absolutely correct to be blunt.
Be warned - they will not be tolerated inside the robot hall.
WRT House Robots, Im afraid to say that they will Not be comming - due to Mentorn sddenly changing the rules about theyre freedom for display :sad:
Appart from that - everything is looking really good for the weekend :)
